The best parts of our stay were the food, updated room and how friendly the staff was. The breakfast included was not only generous but extremely delicious. Waiters were courteous and kind.

The price for valet parking was very high, but it was still the most convenient option for our family. We had dinner from their restaurant delivered to our room which was delicious but also very pricey.

I had a great stay at the Moxy Downtown Los Angeles. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location was very convenient with plenty of restaurants, bars, and things to do nearby. I especially enjoyed the Level 8 experience—it was definitely a highlight of the stay! My only disappointment was the size of the king corner room. I expected it to be a little more spacious, and having a small table or additional room to move around would have made the stay even more comfortable. I also wish the room had included a mini refrigerator, which would have been a nice convenience.

I was disappointed with the room. The king corner room was much smaller than I expected and felt very limited on space. There really wasn’t much room to move around or comfortably store our belongings. I also wish the room had a mini refrigerator, as that would have been a much-needed convenience. Another issue was the air conditioning. The room never felt cool enough and was quite stuffy, which made it difficult to feel comfortable, especially with the limited space.

The Clayton club rooftop restaurant and bar was amazing! The service was great and our waitress was so sweet.

Our bathroom shower door didn’t shut, there was water leaking out all over the floor anytime we showered. It was hot and musty in the room, our AC wouldn’t go down past 70 and had a total of 52 percent humidity the entire time. Housekeeping didn’t change out our bedsheets or remove the trash’s our fridge was leaking all over our room floor. The homeless in the area is also absolutely insane.

Great location, near local shops, restaurants and venues. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The food and drinks were excellent. I would recommend staying here if you plan to visit the capital, catch a baseball game or attending a local concert.

This was a last minute booking and everything was more or less as I expected it would be.

There was only one chair in king bed room, which I think might prove insufficient if sharing the room one with or more people. It was also a desk chair on wheels which I do not think would be very stable for many guests. Lastly, there was no safe in the room. They said it was because it was a “boutique” hotel, which is a ludicrous response.

Location of the hotel was excellent for our event at the Golden 1 Center. It was just a short 5 minute walk. The room was clean. Higher floor rooms had a good view. Only Valet parking in this hotel. It was $40-50. Explorist status customers multiple requests for late checkout were ignored without acknowledgement or responses!

Every single employee was incredibly nice. Cool musical hotel theme. Great food. The location is awesome. Located next to everything! 5 minute walk to Old Town or the Capitol Building. 1 minute walk to tge sports arena. Don't forget to try Cafex for amazing coffee, right next door.

Great place to stay for events at Golden 1 Center. Rooms very clean and staff very accomodating. Staff at breakfast were very friendly. Would definitely stay her again.

To everyone at The Hyatt Sacramento a huge thank you from two weary travellers from the UK on a road trip across the USA. From the moment we pulled up outside the valets were amazing. Super friendly and helpful. The front of house team were yet again so professional, welcoming, friendly and they really made us feel "at home". Check out the guitar shaped front desk, the Marshall Amps and the vinyl collection. This hotel really is beautiful. I know from the research that we did prior to our road trip that Sacramento has a lot of bad press and some of it on the outskirts is justifiable. Here we felt very safe and very much relaxed. Our only regret is that we didn't get to stay another day. Our room was stunning with homages to the lates and greats of music history. The bed was perfect with what we took as high quality Egyptian cotton bed linen. We slept like babies with no noise from the road! As for cleanliness - perfect !!!! The bar on the 6th is a great way to chill and have a drink while watching the world go by. Perfect in everyday for us. Yet again team Hyatt - thank you so very much for an amazing stay at your beautiful hotel.

Hotel is fantastic; USA Valet service is not. USA Valet knowingly and admittedly damaged my car such that it had to be towed. They did nothing to assist me, handed my the keys and told me, "Good Luck!"

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Centric Downtown Sacramento while traveling on official federal business. While the hotel itself was clean and reasonably comfortable, the overall guest experience left much to be desired. As a World of Hyatt member, I expected at least a basic acknowledgment of my loyalty status at check-in, but there was none. Even after presenting my membership information, no benefits or amenities were explained or offered. Simple gestures like complimentary breakfast or happy hour access would have gone a long way toward improving the experience. There was also confusion with my reservation. I specifically requested a military/government rate, but the reservation was listed under a senior citizen rate instead. Additionally, as a military member traveling on federal orders, I had to personally ask about the tax exemption process rather than the staff proactively informing me. The location is convenient and the property itself is fine, but customer service and attention to detail were lacking. In hindsight, I would have preferred staying at the nearby Embassy Suites, which offers complimentary happy hour and an excellent breakfast as part of the stay. Overall, not a terrible experience, but not one that would bring me back.

I had a horrible experience at Hyatt centric in downtown Sacramento. First off, the rooftop bar was closed for a wedding. I booked this hotel specifically for the rooftop bar and was extremely disappointed that it was closed/was not listed that it would be closed when I booked the room. Secondly, the AC in the room was extremely loud and very hard to fall asleep if you are a light sleeper so I got zero sleep. Lastly, valet purposely tore off a keychain from my car keys due to them not liking my national flag. When confronting the valet driver she told me to “go search in the garage”. I was extremely taken aback and asked to talk to a manager who then told me 10 minutes later that my keychain just suddenly reappeared and was waiting for me to pick up if I would still like it. Overall, i would not stay here again and regret becoming a Hyatt member due to their horribly racist staff amongst other things listed above. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

Staff is excellent. They advertise a rooftop bar, but it’s only open three days a week. Valet is expensive, unreliable and adds surprise fees. Beware.

Great location, Average property, Rooms were NEVER cleaned during a 3 night 4 day stay. Never received fresh towels or had waste bins emptied. Pretty disappointing stay. Expected more from Hyatt.

We always like this location to check out doco and old sac. It is walkable and makes for a great staycation for us. There is a lot of restaurant options around and the breakfast at the standing is good. The upstairs bar was closed for special event so we couldn’t go up. No pool.

Hotel was clean, had the necessary amenities. Staff was very nice. Good location. Close to all or at least walking distance.

Nice hotel, apparently renovated 5 years ago. The air conditioning actually works which is a surprise for a California hotel. Great food and service. Ridiculous $45 per day valet plus tip, if you have a car there is no other practical choice. I will not stay here again because of this. Also, this is not the fault of the hotel but, homeless people loitering outside the hotel and if you venture out to a nearby restaurant, you will most likely encounter more of the same. We did. Welcome to California.

We were looking for a nice place to stay near the Golden One center. The room was clean and quiet. We found some of the amenities in the room quirky (the "barn door" bathroom door was hard to close after a certain point & the light switches next to the bed were very hard to find, being black on a black wall). The window faced a blank wall which was OK for a one-night stay. The food at the 7th Street Standard was good but pricey; the service was very good. Valet parking is the only real option as the parking garage across L street was only open during the day. Overall, worth the price for what we were looking for but would probably seek a cheaper dinner elsewhere.

From the moment that we arrived the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The valet worked as a team to ensure that they were able to accommodate our large van. The front desk was nice as well. They all provide exceptional customer service with a smile. Very nice hotel. Very unique style.

This is a fantastic hotel with excellent service and great location. We also had dinner there and it was great. Just a wonderful experience.

This is a fine hotel, nice lobby and restaurant. The rooms seem fine on the surface and the shower is actually pretty nice, but there's definitely more scuffs on the furniture and the walls than would be expected. Overall, it's a fine hotel.

The location, amenities, room and breakfast surpassed my expectations.

The price on Hyatt Centric Downtown Sacramento website was $250 cheaper than Booking.com. I contacted Booking.com customer service twice to alter the pricing and did not hear back. It's too bad, as I use Booking.com for most of my reservations. I will be aware of this in the future.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant had delicious food-I had a drink and small plate the night I arrived. My breakfast on the morning I checked out was delightful!

We only stayed one night, as we were in town so that our daughter could tour the UC Davis campus and the hotels in Davis were already booked. We had a great stay, with great service from the entire stay. I have to make a special shout out to Sam, who had assisted me via text prior to check in to see what rooms were available and also to set up a special welcome amenity for my daughter, who had just celebrated her 18th birthday. She went above and beyond to assist, so many thanks to her. The hotel itself is new and in great shape. Although we didn't have a chance to enjoy all the amenities due to the short stay, breakfast was wonderful and the condition of the room was top notch. We even had a nice window view of the capitol building.

Location and vibe.

The hotel staff was consistently friendly and helpful, which made for a welcoming stay. A standout perk for Globalist members was the breakfast-or-lunch option available until 1pm—an excellent touch, especially if you prefer to eat later in the day. The location is ideal, particularly for attending a basketball game, visiting the Capitol or bar/restaurant hoping. On the downside, the room lacked a safe, and the bathroom was on the smaller side, which may be a consideration for some travelers.

This is a great hotel in a good area, many restaurants within walking distance. The food was terrific in the 7th Street Standard restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Room was comfortable, shower tub had textured bottom so not worries about slipping. Overall a very pleasant stay.

We had an exterior facing window, I would recommend providing sound machines in those rooms to help with the street noise.

Perfect walking distance to get there and get to the hotel afterwards The staff was sweet and friendly The resturant was closed by the time we got back and they still open it back up to get my son some desert for his birthday I will be back for sure every year now

Beautiful hotel, and we loved the rooftop lounge and the restaurant.

It was very hard to find. You guys need better signage on the street as there is no driveway to pull into.

Not much selection at the restaurant. No toiletries available nearby. Microwave would have been nice to have. The barn door for the bathroom I didn't care for.
