We had a very pleasant two-night stay at Petit Palace. The location is excellent – just a 5–6 minute walk from the very center, so most of the main sights, restaurants and attractions are easily accessible on foot. The hotel is modern, comfortable and well maintained, and our overall experience was very good. Breakfast was nice, with a good selection and everything we needed to start the day. Overall, a very good hotel in a convenient location and a great choice for exploring the city on foot. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

I asked the staff if they offered a service, and at the reception they told me it was available. And when I asked for it when I needed it, she told me it was not available, and it was never really available. It completely ruined the last day of my stay.

For a 4-star hotel, the standard was very average. Honestly, this was one of the weakest hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Our ground-floor room faced the street and was so low that whenever someone smoked outside, the cigarette smoke came straight into the room. And as if that wasn’t enough, there was a drainage/sewer area directly in front of the window 🤡. The room was also extremely dark during the day. While the blinds could technically be opened, doing so meant essentially having people passing right outside the window looking straight into the room. So in practice, we had to keep them mostly closed, which meant very little natural daylight. During check-in, we were told that we could change rooms. Unfortunately, when we asked about it the following day at around 10:30 a.m., we were told that we had come too late and should have done it before 9 a.m. It’s a shame we weren’t given this information during check-in — a bit of unnecessary misinformation. By the last night, we simply gave up and thought: whatever. We stayed for three nights and honestly, we’re glad it was only three.

Very close to the airport and the main centre but out of the way enough of the hustle and bustle. Very polite staff, clean and very comfortable facilities. Perfect for a city break where you don’t use the room for much. Great air con which was a welcome break from the warm city.

We had a balcony room - very very loud and sleep was almost impossible. Glass banks being emptied all hours of the night and a car park opposite which meant if the blinds weren’t closed bright lights shined through all night. And nightlife that kept us awake even with the doors completely shut. We also noted the bathroom had a few ants.

Que se rompió el aire acondicionado y la solución que nos dieron no fue la adecuada porque en pleno agosto pasamos mucha calor por la noche y no pudimos dormir. Y su solución fue invitarnos al desayuno.

We really liked the property. It was very clean, had a little balcony, and was very well located. The staff were also incredibly nice and friendly! 😊

La habitación preciosa bastante grande, cama muy cómoda, todo muy limpio, detalle de botella que podías rellenar de agua fría mineral las veces que quisieras, buenas instalaciones, los recepcionistas encantadores muy atentos, muy céntrico, el hotel muy bien en general. Volvería y lo recomendaría sin dudarlo.

Great location. The building and interiors are well designed and looks gorgeous. Bed super comfy and breakfast was very good. It’s a dog friendly hotel, which was fabulous for our little sausage dog.

I couldn’t find an iron in the room, and there were no glasses for drinks from the mini bar.

Hanno fatto di tutto per accontentare la nostra richiesta di una camera silenziosa e lo abbiamo apprezzato. Ci siamo davvero trovati bene. I ragazzi della reception davvero cordiali, soprattutto Fernando. Ottima la posizione, a pochissimi minuti dal centro e dal mare. Ottima la posizione. Bravissime anche le signore delle pulizie.

Ci sarebbe piaciuta una colazione a buffet meno cara. Abbiamo deciso per questo di farla fuori.

Lage sehr zentral, alles zu Fuss erreichbar. Personal äusserst freundlich und Infos über die Stadt gegeben. Zimmer sehr schön und komfortabel eingerichtet. Gratis Wasser zum auffüllen. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig, frisch und lecker.

The most important thing I can say, is that Maite is an incredible manager and she has a wonderful team. This reflects on all aspects of our experience at Icon Malabar. The cleanliness of the hotel; the great breakfast with "tortilla de patata", "jamon iberico", fruit, yogurt and very nice coffee (for us essential); the fantastic team and their great attitude. The hotel is situated in SOHO neighbourhood in Malaga. The location is ideal because it's at walking distance to the main beaches, the city center, the port, the Alcazaba, the Plaza de Toros and most of the things that you'd like to visit in Malaga. At the same time, it's on a quiet street, which means you can have all the fun and then rest properly. Rooms are well groomed and cleaned and their attention is fantastic.

The hotel was stunning, we got a free upgrade on arrival and the staff on reception could not do enough for you - even recommending the best ice cream shop after a long journey! The whole hotel was spotless and right in the centre of the city. Even though it had a central location it was still quiet on a night so you weren't disturbed. Would recommend and stay here again.

Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist super – sehr zentral und perfekt, um die Altstadt und viele Restaurants bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns über die tollen Restaurantempfehlungen, die wir vom Team bekommen haben. Damit lagen sie jedes Mal genau richtig. Der Service war durchweg freundlich und aufmerksam. Schon beim Betreten des Hotels fällt der angenehme Duft auf, der sofort für eine entspannte Atmosphäre sorgt. Das Frühstück war lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Es gab eine große Auswahl an frischem Obst, Gemüse und vielen weiteren Speisen, sodass für jeden etwas dabei war. Auch die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Ein kleiner Hinweis für Familien mit kleinen Kindern: Der Strand ist nicht direkt um die Ecke. Man läuft erst ein Stück am Hafen entlang, bevor man dort ankommt. Das ist grundsätzlich kein Problem, kann sich mit kleinen Kindern aber etwas ziehen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Das Hotel ist etwas hellhörig. Wer geräuschempfindlich ist oder einen sehr leichten Schlaf hat, sollte vorsichtshalber Oropax mitbringen. Damit lässt sich das gut ausgleichen.

Our stay in Málaga was wonderful from start to finish. The hotel was modern, comfortable, and impeccably clean, making it a great place to relax after exploring the city. A special mention goes to Maite, whose friendly attitude and exceptional service really stood out. She was welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help, making us feel at home throughout our stay. Siisti ja viihtyisä tosi hyvällä sijainnilla. Kivat parvekkeet huoneissa. Tosi hyvä kun sai ilmaiseksi täyttää käytävältä vesipulloa kylmällä vedellä. Tosi mukava/ystävällinen henkilökunta.

Aamupala oli suppein aamupala mitä olen nähnyt hotellissa, jopa 3 tähden hotelleissa. Todella pahaa kahvia myös kahvikoneista. Huoneen ilmastointi toimi vähän vaikeasti.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Icon Malabar und können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – sehr zentral und dennoch angenehm ruhig. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Cafés sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar.

직원들이 매우 친절했고 작은 쇼파와 테이블이 있어서 간단하게 요거트 같은 것으로 아침을 먹기에도 나쁘지 않았습니다. 특히나 연수기가 있어서 원할때 물을 마실수 있어서 아주 좋았습니다.

해변에서 살짝 먼개 느껴지긴 했지만 위치도 나쁘지는 않았습니다. 엘리베이터가 매우 느려서 조금 답답했습니다.

I just wanted to send a quick thanks after our one-week stay. I returned home two days ago and was super happy with everything. As a light sleeper, street noise is a big issue for me, so I had already booked an inner courtyard room. However, I sent a request for a room on a higher floor and asked if an early check-in might be possible because of our morning flight. I was so incredibly grateful that you managed to fulfill both requests. Getting the early check-in and a room on the top floor (4th floor) made the perfect start to our holiday. The room was quiet and I slept amazingly well the whole week. It’s not very common that hotels actually double-check and fulfill these kinds of requests, so we really appreciated it. The room was also very clean, the bed was comfy, and the AC worked great.

Det var centralt vilket gjorde att vi kunde ta oss till olika sevärdheter lätt. Dessutom inte trafikerad av bilar då hotellet var på en gågata. Personalen var även väldigt trevliga och tillmötesgående!

Hotel ICON Malabar nos resultó un excelente lugar para instalarse con el objero de visitar Malaga y alrededores. La ubicación buenísima , tranquila y a pasos del casco histórico y lugares turísiticos costeros. Todo era caminable. La amabilidad del personal también la destaco con especial atención. desde la recepción hasta los encargados de los servicios de desayuno. Cabe mencionar la variedad y calidad de los alimentos parte del desayuño. Riquísimo. Siempre dispuestos a agradarnos y solucionar cualquier inconveniente y a hacer de la estadía un momento grato y placentero.

No tengo reparos considerando su concepto de hotel compacto y muy funcional.

Great location and wonderful hotel.

The inside of the hotel is beautiful and there is a small courtyard in the middle (cloister) that is really charming. The beds and linens were super comfortable. The bathroom as well with a good shower head and good water supply.

Cleaning standards were lacking (hairs in the bathroom and dirty duvet). The breakfast shown in photos looks good, but in reality, there’s little choice and of rather poor quality. Besides one creative waiter who knew how to use the coffee machine frother with almond milk, the other waiter couldn’t even make me a lactose free capuchino.

The hotel is in an excellent location. It is just a few hundred meters from the historic center and about 1.3 km from Malagueta Beach, which is accessible via a beautiful park. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and the staff is friendly. Parking is located 150 meters from the hotel and costs €17 per day.

I do not recommend having breakfast at this hotel. It is extremely meager. They put out only a few small pieces of everything; they really skimp on it. This is inconsistent with the hotel's other advantages.
