First time stay. Loved it.

The location is right in town, close to everything. It’s very modern and the rooms are spacious. Has a smart tv with sky in the room. Showers are big and the pressure is great. I travel for work and used to use a motel on commerce street who’ve put their pricing out of reach, this is now my new place.

I didn't have breakfast but the location is quiet and handy to town for an evening meal. The attached restaurant is very good.

Nice old building full of character. Good pub next door..

Small room, sheets very hard, no milk for cereal, no little extra touches...

That it wasnt far from town and walking distant to the wairaka Marae.

That there was no sink to wash dishes besides the one in the bathroom.

We were upgraded to a different room, which was a great bonus. We have stayed here a couple of times and each time has been great. Staff are very friendly. Room was beautiful presented & clean.

No running water in kitchenette. Perfect for those eating out

Fantastic location, the space inside the complex is well laid out. Comfy, bed, friendly staff, sky TV, and high speed internet are the things that I like the most. I will be back again next year for the light up Whakatane festival

None, it had everything you need.

One tiny item we would have liked to see, was a trash bin by the tea/coffee making bar, instead of having to use the bathroom bin. The place was very clean. We were a little challenged by all the stairs - being of an older group. Fascinating historical photos to look at.

Bit of a walk didnt realise upstairs and had my 80yr mum with me. Luckily she is fit 💪

Our car was parked in the car park but we had to access our room through an outside door then stairs. A bit of a mission when you have lots of bags

The bed mattress was very uncomfortable and hard. Never had a mattress like this before

There only thing I would downgrade for is that there no sink in the kitchen area so mugs etc and kettle has to be filled from bathroom sink.

The cleanliness is exceptional, quality of the bedding and towels in the bathroom great. Positive consumer experience - cannot fault the place. Even the parking spaces are room adjacent for the ground floor rooms.

Absolutely nothing comes to mind. It was a positive consumer experience, I have stayed here before and certainly will again if the need arises.

The room I got was the older one next door to what I thought I was actually booking. It was really lovely and comfortable.

We were running late to check in before the reception closed due to Air NZ flight change They were very helpful and stayed open until we arrived We were even offered a bigger room to the one booked Highly recommend this Motel and the Staff

Noise from The opening and closing of car doors at night and it was multiple but complex itself is great

The view of the waterfall. Love the mix of new still keeping with the aesthetic of the history of the building (pull up windows)

Very friendly staff member moved me from an upstairs unit to ground floor, which helped with parking right out front. Extremely comfortable room, with everything required for a short stay - very friendly bar and restaurant associated at the front of the complex.
