I think this is just taking advantage of name its overrated I tried this property 1 st time and I feel the tarrif is no way justified for this area , I've stayed at marriot twice , it's much better and cheaper , even WHITE HOTEL i found the food better . We had lunch which was average & so called HIGH TEA was a shame . And imagine they chaege for helipad drop & pick no I does in katra anyways In short i would not stay here again .

I had a wonderful stay at Welcome Hotel ITC Katra. The hotel is beautifully maintained, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is warm and welcoming. A special thanks to Sujan, who made our stay even more enjoyable with his polite, professional, and helpful behavior. He was always courteous, attentive, and willing to assist with a smile, making us feel truly valued as guests. The entire staff was friendly, respectful, and eager to help whenever needed. Their excellent hospitality and dedication to guest satisfaction made our experience memorable.

There was not much choice in breakfast

Good location, and very good staff. But this hotel and its amentities don't justify the price and they are no where close to what other ITC hotesl offers. Front desk, support, cleaning and kitched sstaff were outstanding.

Bathroom is in terrible state, scractches all over. very basic amentities not even a full mirror. You have to ask for towels. Even used toilet papers are not changed after last customer. 355 rupees for a cold cup of tea is not a good experience.

Staff was courteous and went way beyond expectation to help. Location and room was awesome. Loved the food.

Lovely location...perfect spiritual ambience at the sacred Trikuta mountains....staff response was immediate... did not push us fr check out inspite of delay in our return...spread in the food was huge ..will recommend this place to every family whoever are looking for a decent stay.. Thnx to Ishaan who guided us in many things and arranged a perfect table for our friend's birthday celebration

Had a wonderful dinner experience at Dough & Co. The ambience, warmth, and hospitality were absolutely exceptional and made the evening truly memorable for our family, especially my mother. We had stayed in WelcomITC for about 3 days , the stay is very good and hygienic, the ambience is such a great place with amazing views , and service by staffs are top notch, Mr Ishan , specially took care of us and helped us to find a right stay for further trips and gave us great guidance about the trips , would like to recommend friends and family and definitely going to stay there if I visit katra .

We had a really wonderful stay at Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Katra. The whole team made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in. Special mention to Ishan Singh, the front office manager he went out of his way to help us throughout our stay. Always polite and always attentive, and made sure everything we needed was sorted without us having to ask . The evening aarti was beautiful and peaceful. It gave the whole stay a spiritual quality that was really special. And the satvik food (without onion and garlic) was genuinely excellent. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Not just Ishan, but literally everyone. The security guards, drivers, front desk, and restaurant team they were all respectful and helpful They'd anticipate what you needed before you even asked. That's rare. We've stayed in plenty of nice hotels, but this felt different. The hospitality felt personal. The service, food, cleanliness, and the whole experience was genuinely excellent. Thank you Ishan and the team for making our stay memorable.

Great, location and great hospitality Nagma, arbina was the two staff at the restaurant block, they are like family They treat my kids very well and other staff was also very good. If you are travelling to Vehsno devi I would say go and stay here. This place shall make your visit super memorable Thanks to entire welcome team 🙌

We went for vaishno devi mata darshan and staff was not at all helpful and even started ignoring our needs.specially the guy on night duty on reception was pathetic and not at all helpful.

Work on hospitality and teach some basic manners to reception people who are attending guess at first.

We chose Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels Katra trusting the ITC brand, but the experience was extremely disappointing. At check in, our rooms were not ready, which is unacceptable. The staff seemed undertrained and lacked basic knowledge. Even simple queries were not handled properly, and there was poor coordination overall. We had a complimentary suite upgrade voucher, but the staff had no idea how to redeem it, which reflects very poorly on training and professionalism. There was no welcome at all. No greeting, no welcome drink, nothing that reflects ITC hospitality. The restaurant experience was equally poor. Service was extremely slow. It took more than 30 minutes for one sabzi and over 20 minutes for roti and naan. Breakfast was below expectations. The watermelon juice was labeled as fresh but wasclearly canned, which was misleading. Most concerning was the hygiene. Hair was found in both dosa and sambhar, which is completely unacceptable. Even after raising a complaint, there has been no proper response from the management. This experience does not match the standards expected from ITC.

Overall had a wonderful experience. The check-in process was a little hectic and took some time, but the rest of the stay completely made up for it. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. It truly felt like a home away from home for my family. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, making our stay very pleasant. A special mention to Ajay, who truly made the experience memorable . The hotel is situated in a good locality and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. If you are looking strictly for a decent room in a convenient spot, this property checks those boxes. ​The Not-so-Good: Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by a complete lack of hospitality and flexibility. We traveled from Delhi to Katra early in the morning and arrived quite tired. While we understood that an early check-in might incur a fee—and we were even the ones to proactively suggest paying for it—the front desk management was incredibly rigid and unfriendly. ​The Main Issue: The most annoying part was the lack of trust and priority toward guest comfort. Even after we agreed to the charges, the staff insisted on immediate settlement before even allowing us to check in or settle into the room. After a long, exhausting journey, a guest’s priority is to rest; however, the hotel’s only priority seemed to be the payment. ​Verdict: While the physical property is nice, the hospitality is not at all friendly, and the service does not feel "valuable" for the price. If you expect a warm welcome or a guest-first approach after a long journey, you may want to look elsewhere. We had a wonderful stay at this property, which is truly located at a prime spot. The view of the valley and the shrine from the property is absolutely breathtaking and makes the entire experience even more special. Waking up to such serene surroundings is something we will always remember. A special mention for the amazing hospitality extended by the team. Pankaj, Arbeena, Shubha, Akhil, Rohit and Gaurav were extremely courteous, attentive and always ready to help, which made our stay very comfortable and warm. However, one piece of feedback we would like to share is regarding the food. Earlier, the food here used to be exceptionally delicious — so much so that it was hard to believe it was prepared without onion and garlic. Unfortunately, during this visit we felt that the taste and overall menu spread have changed and the food no longer has the same flavour and variety that we remembered. We truly hope the property revisits this aspect, because the location, views and hospitality are outstanding and improving the food experience again would make the stay absolutely perfect.

Round of applause to Chef Rajindra Singh - Simply Satvic Food I really appreciate in room dining experience,most delectable Authentic Kashmiri delicacies like Anjeer Kofta and Dum Aloo served with Mirchi Paratha , in house Pickle were complementing the food beautifully. Stay was comfortable but staff at the front desk ,reception need some better training to handle the guests and must be aware of all the hotel policies.

I had a very pleasant stay at Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Katra. The housekeeping service was excellent. The rooms were very clean, well-maintained, and the staff was polite and helpful. Fresh linens and amenities were provided on time, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was impressive. It made the stay comfortable and relaxing. Spa facility is very good .. Kajal was very polite and excellent in her work, very professional. We have taken hot stone massage and kaya kalp rejuvenating massage. Other lady also very professional and excelllent in her work. I felt the overall experience is good the only point very limited staff so they are usually very occupied and sometimes forgot to receive the guest on main gate as well.

Bad WiFi connectivity. We visited from Dubai, even though we had international roaming, but our phones were not working (understand due to security reasons). I believe, it is all the more responsibility of Hotel to provide uninterrupted WiFi connectivity to its international guests, which was not there, and we were struggling to stay connected.

Everything is perfect, food is best clean rooms, easy checkin experience. Especially Sunil, Nagma from F&B are super polite best staff. Value for money 100%.

Nice property with courteous staff and prompt service. Hotel needs to work upon providing centralised heating option at times when there are not enough guests staying in property. This is one grey area during the stay. Also, it’s quite unusual and unfair to charge for drop to helipad which few hotels in vicinity are not doing so. Food quality is awesome. Front office and F&B staff are humble and friendly.

I stayed at Welcome by ITC Katra for two days with my four friends. We have stayed here many times before, the hotel is very good and the rooms are also excellent. Our experience has been excellent every time, but this time the service was not up to the mark. The service in the restaurant was very slow. The management needs to pay attention to this.

I haven't seen this place in person, but I've seen it through video calls with my parents. The hospitality they received and the staff's kindness were absolutely delightful. What a welcome and treatment both Jagdeep sahab and Sunil sahab gave us. When you have free time and your people are with you, then just go here and come back, then you will become a part of that place and stay there only.
