En mi Hotel hace falta una caja fuerte para objetos medianos (laptop), pero el personal es muy honesto y implicó que cambie mi perspectiva del Hotel

Que habia muchas escaleras y el restaurante no es bueno, podrían mejorarlo mucho, ya que no hay restaurantes cerca.

La vista y estancia en el hotel es agradable, poca gente y lo puedes disfrutar.

El servicio en restaurante es pésimo, no tienen gran variedad de platillos, adicional a que lo que venden no es tan fresco y no tiene relacion versus costo, simple ejemplo de papas y boneless a un costo excesivo, de igual manera el ceviche, no fresco y no bueno, te venden el hotel con desayuno en alberca, pero jamas indica que te cobran $1500 por esto último, si quieren tomar fotografías y videos tiene vista, $1000 pesos por un servicio de traslado al hotel excedido, es mas económico rentar un auto por día.

L'hôtel est magnifique, avec une vue superbe et un accès direct au lagon. Nous avions réservé deux chambres avec vue sur le lagon : elles sont très grandes, belles et confortables, avec de grands lits, un petit balcon avec hamac et un réfrigérateur. Le ponton et les kayaks à disposition permettent de profiter pleinement du lagon, c'est vraiment très agréable. Le restaurant est également très bien et le petit-déjeuner est bon, même si je pense qu'il pourrait être un peu plus qualitatif et varié compte tenu du standing et du prix de l'établissement.

Le véritable gros (énorme) point noir est l'accès à l'hôtel. J'avais lu les commentaires avant notre arrivée, mais je ne pensais vraiment pas que la route serait à ce point difficile. Il faut parcourir environ 2 km sur une piste extrêmement dégradée, avec de gros cailloux, des roches et des passages très difficiles. Avec notre voiture de location, une berline, nous devions rouler au pas en craignant à chaque mètre d''abîmer un pneu ou le dessous de la voiture. Au-delà de l'inconfort, c'est surtout dommage car cela limite réellement la liberté de sortir de l'hôtel : on réfléchit à deux fois avant de reprendre cette route pour aller à Bacalar ou visiter les environs. Même si cette route n'appartient apparemment pas à l'établissement, pour un hôtel de ce standing, il semble indispensable qu'une solution soit trouvée. Enfin, quelques petits éléments commencent à mériter un rafraîchissement : certaines parties autour de la piscine, quelques peintures dans les chambres… Rien qui gâche le séjour aujourd'hui, mais à ce niveau de prix, un peu d'entretien supplémentaire permettrait de conserver le standing de l'établissement.

Nous avions le bungalow de trois chambres directement sur le ponton avec un emplacement vraiment hyper agréable. La qualité de l’hébergement est au top. Le ponton est magique et les lumières le soir géniales. Le fait de pouvoir prendre des Kayaks à volonté est aussi top pour pouvoir se balader sur la lagune. C’est vraiment un très bon hôtel.

La carte du restaurant est vraiment trop restreinte et les prix ne sont pas en ligne avec le Mexique… mais c’est bon ! C’est quand même un point important, car l’emplacement est à 25 minutes du centre de Baccalar. En effet, il faut compter 10 minutes pour parcourir les 2 km de chemin pour rejoindre la route principale. Le chemin est vraiment défoncé. Toutefois, pas de panique à 20 km/h c’est complètement praticable en voiture… c’est juste long. D’où parfois le réflexe pour bien profiter de la journée de vouloir déjeuner à l’hôtel.

Very nice location a bit further away from Bacalar city area which allows for good contact with nature. Nice, relax environment, true boutique style with as well good food at the restaurant.

We had the villa. Just to note: only the mini-pool is private, not the pontoon and the picture of the bathrooms are a bit misleading. It doesn’t look as good in reality. Overall I think we overpaid for the villa and could have had better for the price.

Die Lage an der Lagune mit dem Steg und der Pool waren sehr schön.

Angefangen beim Check in bis zum Check out war kein Service vorhanden. In einem 4 Sterne Hotel sollte wenigstens einer an der Rezeption Englisch können. Statt dessen wird beim Check in übers Handy mit einem Spanischübersetzer gearbeitet. Wir waren eine Stunde damit beschäftigt hin und her zu schreiben… macht „Spaß“ nach einer langen Anfahrt…. die Anfahrtsstraße durch den Wald ist eine Katastrophe. Die Stühle vor dem Zimmer und auch im Restaurant sollten Sitzkissen bekommen, damit es bequem wird. Das inkludierte Frühstück ist eine Auswahlkarte mit wenigen Gerichten, es gibt noch eine extra Karte, aber diese Frühstücksgerichte zahlt man dann wieder extra. Unser Zimmer war auch leider nicht sauber. Flecken auf der Bettwäsche, viele Haare im Bad. Obwohl wir für unsere Tochter (9) 60 € pro Nacht extra bezahlen mussten, bekam sie kein extra Bett. Geld kassieren ja - Service nein. Die Wohnungen liegen an einem Berg und sind über Treppen erreichbar. Die Koffer schleppen darf man hoch und runter selbst, auch da wird keinerlei Hilfe angeboten. Statt dessen steht der Manager an der Rezeption und schaut zu wie die Gäste schwitzen. Das ist uns in keinem anderen Hotel so ergangen! Ausstattung in den Zimmern eher schlecht: kein Fön, kein Ganzkörperspiegel, kein Fernseher (brauchen wir nicht, aber bei 4 Sternen!?), kein Stuhl, Schimmel im Bad…. Kurzum für weniger Geld wäre es ok, aber wenn ich höhere Preise verlange, sollte auch etwas geboten werden. Die Chefin versprach uns am Telefon eine Entschädigung für das schlechte Check in… darauf warten wir noch heute.

Absolutely everything about Hotel Khaban was wonderful. It is such a unique and beautiful place, with gorgeous rooms, delicious food, a lovely breakfast, and a small-scale, beautifully landscaped setting. Everything was perfect! After we had left, we discovered in Playa del Carmen that my son had accidentally left his two beloved stuffed monkeys at the hotel. We contacted Hotel Khaban through WhatsApp, communicating in both Spanish and English. The staff went above and beyond and eventually arranged a taxi service to bring the stuffed animals to our hotel in Playa del Carmen. My son was absolutely thrilled to have his beloved monkeys back! 🐒❤️ A huge thank you to the wonderful staff and the taxi service for the amazing service and kindness. This is truly a place with exceptional hospitality. We highly recommend Hotel Khaban!

A beautiful and peaceful place to experience Bacalar. The lagoon is stunning, the free kayaks are a wonderful bonus, and you are surrounded by birds and iguanas. Their restaurant is also very good, but my favorite memory was simply lying in a hammock by the lagoon, reading in complete silence and feeling that time had finally slowed down.

Su ubicación dentro de la selva está increible, te alejas de todo el ruido y conectas con la naturaleza. La comida del restaurante a pesar de nos ser muy variada es buena más no increible, por el precio puedes comer mejor en el centro. Los precios rondan entre los $250 a $350 por platillo. El personal de cocina fueron muy atentos. Este hotel cuenta con un toque de queda a las 10:00 p.m. nada de ruido, nada de musica y no puedes hacer uso de las instalaciones.

Tuvimos la mala experiencia, ajena al hotel que se fue la electricidad por un poste caido en la carretera y el hotel NO CUENTA CON PLANTA DE ENERGÍA, por lo tanto sin restaurante, no habia servicio de alimentos ni bebidas. Las habitaciones no cuentan con mosquitero en las ventanas, hacía demasiado calor y habia demasiados mosquitos. Solicitamos al hotel alguna compensación o ayuda para movernos al centro para poder comer y mencionaron que no podían hacer nada porque eran causas externas. Otro dato que deberian tener en cuenta si quieres conocer Bacalar este hotel no es el ideal ya que no mencionan qué para llegar hay que solicitar un taxi del centro al hotel o viceversa y su tarifa fija es de $300 porque se llega por carretera Federal y un camino de terraceria que si está lloviendo algunos taxistas podrian no darte el servicio o cobrar extra.

The location was beautiful (it is a bit out of the way but so scenic and quiet). The staff were so nice and helpful. The food and drinks were great (the breakfast that was included was made to order and it was lovely).The facilities were great and the room was spotless.

There was a WhatsApp number to communicate with the front desk which was brilliant but replies were sometimes a bit delayed. A small criticism.

Het is een super en rustige plek aan het meer. Ruime en mooie kamers. Fijn ontbijt en menukaart

Sommige plekjes in de kamer hadden was onderhoud nodig. Maar er waren elke dag klusjesmannen bezig op het terrein en ze kunnen ook niet alles in één dag. De weg ernaartoe is met heel veel hobbels. Het is te doen, maar houd rekening met extra reistijd. Let op! Er kan wildlife je kamer inkomen want je zit in de jungle.

La situation géographique plus que l’hôtel en lui même. La chambre 6 ( beaucoup mieux que la 9) Monique au restaurant est en plus le seul membre du personnel qui parle anglais dans tout l’établissement.

Plus que non fumeur mais établissement anti fumeur, il y aurait de quoi faire un coin sympa dedans mais on te colle sur le parking entre la grosse poubelle et le chantier plutot que d’installer un fauteuil dedans à l’extérieur … aussi il n’y a pas un membre de l’accueil ne parle anglais, comment c’est possible dans un établissements 4 étoiles ? Chambre 9 une catastrophe sans déco même pas une lampe de chevet … des fuites bref …

I The bed in room 11 was too hard. No one once asked any of us how our time was. We felt on our own.

Hotel in una posizione leggermente lontana dal centro ma la tranquillità e la bellezza del posto in cui si trova sono senza paragoni. Staff disponibile e gentile. Molto carina anche la zona relax sulla laguna.

La strada per arrivare all'hotel e piena di buche, sarebbe da sistemare leggermente.

The location is really remote and the road to get there is quite rough. There is literally nothing around the hotel, which is probably a bit boring after a few days as you only get to eat in the restaurant at the hotel. The common areas are quite small which leads to the fact that it’s partially quite noisy due to other guests. The staff at the restaurant was very kind while we didn’t feel very well taken care of by the reception. Overall the hotel is really beautiful but also a bit used up I felt.

Camas muy blandas, olor feo en los baños, sin TV rn el cuarto, no cambian toallas, horrible desayuno, falta de agua caliente suficiente, falta de mantenimiento general.

The street leading to the property was almost impossible to access, completely broken and filled with large stones. Our villa—described by the reception staff as “the best”—had a broken door lock, so we had to sleep with our own luggage blocking the entrance for safety. The next day, it took them two hours to fix it, drilling nonstop right outside our room, making it impossible for us to rest. The worst part happened when we woke up to find the entire room flooded due to a broken pipe, with all our luggage soaked. No one apologized or offered any form of compensation. Their only concern seemed to be making sure we paid for a cappuccino that wasn’t even included in the bill. After all this, and despite the terrible experience, we paid and left

Besonders gut gefallen hat uns unsere Villa, sowie der Steg und der wunderbare Ausblick. Auch die Kajaks, die man umsonst ausleihen konnte waren super. Der Reinigungsservice war exzellent und unsere Villa stets sauber.

Die Küche hatte nur drei Teller (bei einer Villa für bis zu sechs Personen!) und nur zwei Pfannen anstatt Kochtöpfe, das war für uns sehr unpraktisch weil wir geplant hatten mehr zu kochen. Man ist in diesem Hotel auf das hauseigene Restaurant angewiesen, das zwar ein sehr gutes Frühstück hat, jedoch ansonsten sowohl auswahl- als auch qualitätsmäßig etwas zu wünschen übrig lässt – und das bei sehr satten Preisen. Am letzten Abend mussten wir mit der Kellnerin diskutieren, da uns acht 2-für-1 Aktionen für Getränke verrechnet wurden, anstatt den fünf die eigentlich konsumiert wurden. Darüber hinaus wurden Daiquiris anstatt Sprite mit Vodka verbucht, was auch noch einmal einen preislichen Unterschied machte. Mit Übersetzungsapps konnte das Problem dann zwar geklärt werden, wir hätten uns aber trotzdem zumindest eine Entschuldigung erhofft.

Es hermoso el hotel

Nos quedamos sin energía por la tormenta, eso incluyo estar sin AA durante varias horas del dia... Por favor en Google necesitan poner como referencia la entrada más corta y en mejores condiciones al hotel ya que es la más segura, perdí una noche de estancia por qué tome el camino que me indico Google maps pero está demasiado inseguro y decidimos regresar a Bacalar centro a dormir esa noche.

The staff here is amazing. Everyone is very sweet and accommodating. Place is beautiful, clean and exceeded our expectations.

Zimmer 7 mit ständigem Lärm. Personal total unpersönlich, mehrheitlich desinteressiert. Pavillon wird für romantische diner genutzt, dann wird ab Mittag aufgebaut und die Hotelgäste müssen weg.

The view from the pool is amazing, the room is big and spacious.

The location is not great. You have to take a taxi to get out, and the road to the hotel is a bit bumpy. There is no elevator, if you’re located in the rooms that are close to the lagoon, there’s a lot of steps to get there.

Très joli boutique hôtel au calme directement sur la lagune, avec un service excellent. Notre chambre était parfaite et les équipements de l'hôtel (piscine, ponton, kayaks, etc.) en superbe état. Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner : très varié, avec des plats mexicains ou à l'international au choix.

Petit bémol pour la literie à revoir pour le standing de l établissement. A noter que le chemin qui mène à l'hôtel est une piste d'environ 2 km (pour nous, ça n'a pas été un problème, il suffit d'avancer doucement)

Está ubicado en un lugar muy especial en la laguna si quieres paz y tranquilidad. Buenos desayunos y el momento amanecer y hacer kayak a primera hora de la mañana es impresionante. Se comía bastante bien aunque poca variedad. Muchísimas cosas que hacer en Bacalar, nos encanto!!!

Por poner un pero si eres muy activo te tienes que mover bastante y el camino para llegar tiene muchos baches, mejor con un 4x4 aunque no es imprescindible.

Absolument tout. Cadre paradisiaque, gentillesse du personnel, nourriture (petit dej, snacks et souper), kayaks à disposition, piscine, décos (jusqu aux pannaeaux avec citations), chambre incroyable. Séjour inoubliable

Petit bémol pour la literie pas assez ferme

Propre et joli. Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Le personnel de menage sympa. Idéal si vous êtes 4 personnes dans l’hôtel autrement pas assez de places pour se détendre.

L’espace commun est vraiment étroit, avec pas beaucoup de chaises longues comparé à la capacité de l’hôtel, pas du tout idéal pour se détendre. Le personnel à l’accueil et au restaurant est au mieux correct, loin de la sympathie dont on a eu l’habitude pendant nos séjours ailleurs. On a eu une coupure d’eau pendant que mon conjoint était sous la douche, je suis partie en parler à l’accueil et disons que la seule réponse que j’ai eu c’est ça revient dans 20min et débrouille toi. L’eau heureusement n’a pas mis 20min à revenir.

El desayuno estaba incluido y todo o que probamos estaba muy rico. Los hot cakes de los mejores que he comido. El menu de cenas tambien muy rico.

El camino para llegar al hotel despues de la carretera esta en pésimas condiciones, muchos hoyos muy grandes que no se ven por el encharcamiento, Sugiero que la propiedad aplane de vez en cuando el camino.
