Location, Falls view

No pool, small workout area, limited eating options

Although we weren’t staying at the hotel ourselves, our family was, and we came to visit them during their stay. The property is absolutely beautiful, with a welcoming atmosphere and a high level of attention to detail that really stood out. We also wanted to recognize Josh from valet for his outstanding service. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful, making it easy for us to come and go while visiting our family. His positive attitude and excellent customer service made a great impression and added to an already wonderful experience. We can definitely see why our family enjoyed staying here, and we look forward to visiting again.

The location was fantastic. Once we parked our car, we didn’t move it the entire rest of our stay. We walked to shops on Main Street, ball games at La Fluor field, restaurants, trails at Reedy Park, and the Saturday Farmers Market.

I would have liked a directory in the room explaining some of the amenities, like how to use the safe, hours of restaurants, gym hours and spa services. There were some QR codes, but not for specific details.

The rooms are clean and well appointed. We had a king falls view which it really wasn't. 30% of our view was the roof overhang, looking straight down you could see a little Cascade. We ended up in this room because our original assigned room wasn't ready at 4:00. Receptionist told us our original room had a great view and she didn't want to move us. However, when I queried further about when our room would be ready (a vague 4:20ish) she then said she found a room (I assumed with a similar view, it was not) and moved me without asking if I wanted to sacrifice view. The valets and bellman were extremely friendly and helpful. Can't give a 5 star review to a hotel that doesn't have room ready when promised. Check-in took over 20 minutes (1 person in front of me on arrival)

I was in town for a few meetings and needed a central location. A local friend highly recommended the Grand Bohemian. MY BIGGEST REGRET was not booking a longer stay. I loved being able to dine on property with such beautiful views, and when I needed a break from work, I appreciated the walkability to local shops. I’ll definitely be back.

We pulled into the hotel with an unexpected flat tire. The valet staff immediately called for Randall, moved a car so our car could park in front and then proceeded to change our tire for us. Randall, who had just started his shift and was wearing a suit, jumped into help and changed the tire himself without batting an eye. He then proceeded to look up the closest tire store and their hours so we’d know where to drive first thing in the morning. The customer service from the valet staff, particularly Randall, was stellar!!!!

I booked a room to spend my birthday night. I was super amazed since the very first moment I got there. The hotel is unique; its decor is fantastic, the service is excellent, the restaurant is world class, and courtesy complimentary upgrade I got was cherry 🍒 on top of the cake. I just loved it!

An amazing experience from the moment you arrive. Our family visits often for drinks or during the holidays for their craft show. But this was our first time staying onsite and it didnt disappoint. The rooms were elegant and clean. Amazing view of the Reedy River. Amazing experience and we look forward to staying again soon!

We spent a week at the lodge as we were going to a wedding in Greenville.Its a beautiful hotel surrounded by by trees and a waterfall.Our room was spacious and it had the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. It was like sleeping in the clouds also a spacious bathroom with separate toilet which I prefer.They have a restaurant called between the trees which we dined in once but we found it disappointing.There is also a nice bar downstairs where they serve smaller plates which we preferred. There is lots of American Indian art around the hotel , inside and out.There is also a gallery type shop which has some unusual pieces.There is a balcony at the side and back of the hotel with comfortable chairs where you can take in the beautiful surroundings.

The valet service was fabulous. Gavin did an amazing job of getting my car to me in a timely manner. Will definitely be back!

The restaurant was not open for lunch. However, I was on a business trip and I understand that most of the people were on their vacations and have their lunches in the city.

Do not let this hotel put you in Room 141 as a Falls View! We booked a premium Falls View room at the Grand Bohemian Greenville three months in advance, expecting a special stay for my 60th birthday. Instead, the room we were initially assigned had no meaningful view of the Falls and looked directly onto electrical transformers. (We arrived at 4:30 PM and waited in line for 20 minutes, so it was not a matter of arriving late and getting what was left over.) Given the premium rate, the advance booking, and my husband’s long loyalty to Marriott properties over the past 30+ years (450 nights - more than an entire year), this felt especially disappointing. What bothered us most was that the hotel seemed to think this room qualified as a Falls View room. It felt like a huge insult to our intelligence and not the level of service or transparency we expected from a luxury property. Guests paying extra for a view should receive the view they paid for—or be told clearly in advance what the room actually overlooks. In fairness to the hotel, they did move us after we went to the room and came back to complain, but we had to go through the large hassle of going back to the front desk and then moving our own luggage to the new room, which did have a much better view (please note that no one was answering the phone at the Front Desk when we called to see if we could move rooms.)

Our check in and overall experience was superb. Gorgeous lobby and attentive staff. Bethany at the desk helped us throughout the stay with her hotel and area knowledge. She is an asset to your staff.

Style, location, staff and amenities!!!

This hotel is stunning! It is perfectly located on the falls in downtown, with all the great shopping in walking distance. Our rooms were fresh, very clean, and comfortable. The restaurant was great and it is beautifully decorated. Can’t wait to come back.

Everything about the Grand Bohemian is 5 Star. I have to offer special thanks to Josh V, a parking attendant who was respectful and treated my '57 Chevy with "kit gloves" ... thanks Josh.

My friends and I took a trip to Grenville, SC and stayed at the Grand Bohemian. We had a great first impression, Josh from the valet team helped us and he was so nice and professional! We needed directions to Halls Chophouse (highly, highly recommend!!) and Josh was super helpful in directing us that way. The people at the front desk were very kind and the hotel is absolutely gorgeous! Our room was beautiful and it was such a nice, comfortable place to stay! There is so much to do within walking distance of the hotel, like shopping, coffee, restaurants, parks, etc. Definitely recommend the Grand Bohemian when visiting Greenville!!!

The atmosphere of the hotel was just wonderful. I enjoyed the restaurants and a very relaxed atmosphere. I wanted to send a special thanks to Josh a valet attendant. We thoroughly enjoyed the Grand Bohemian Lodge in Greenville! The hotel looks out and has easy access to Falls Park downtown and to all other downtown activities and attractions in Greenville. Our stay was excellent! Many thanks to everyone on staff at GBL Greenville, we hope to return soon!

Me and my family stayed at the Grand Bohemian in Greenville this past weekend. Amazing! Beautiful artwork and great location right next to Falls Park. The rooms were outstanding and the valet service was great with Gavin helping us. 10/10 would recommend!

My husband expected to drop me off at the door while he parked the car. Kaden informed us that valet service was complimentary with dinner. Our family spent an amazing weekend in Greenville, SC and The Grand Bohemian Lodge was simply flawless. The decor throughout the hotel including our room provided an elegant and relaxing experience to match the beautiful view of the river and downtown Greenville we had. Even the fitness center my wife and I used had a great view of the river which was a nice bonus. When you're there we also recommend having a meal - or two - at the in house restaurant, Between the Trees. We had breakfast and dinner and both were A+. And a special thank you to the staff working the valet service. Perun, Karim, Aidan and Anna were the best! When we come back to Greenville there'e no question we'll be staying at the Grand Bohemian Lodge.

We stayed at the Bohemian for our wedding, the location, facility and staff are top notch Specific shout out to Randall Larson and the valet crew. We had a crazy mishap on our wedding day where our new car stopped working as we were leaving for our wedding. Randall stepped in and figured out a way to get us a car service to the location, took care Of it and saved the day! We can’t say enough good things about Randall and the team there. We will be customers for life! And can’t wait to come back

My family and I had a great experience staying here this past week! It was our first time visiting Greenville and we were so glad we stayed here. Such a great location and the rooms were clean and everyone was very helpful giving us recommendations of places to explore and eat! Ben from the valet service was especially helpful answering all our questions about the area! We will definitely be back!

Amazing hotel, love native American theme throughout….. the most amazing young man Karim parked by Astin Martin and I don’t even let my wife drive it. I must visit hotel and place of beauty and amazement while ever and Greenville South Carolina.

Not a guest was in the lobby at six pm when I checked in. No one by the front desk and yet the front desk clerk that greeted me was under twenty-five years old and was in a rush to check me in. And so, begins the unfortunate time I spent in this overrated, miserable behemoth. The room, contrary to what was promised, was approximately two hundred square feet with a view of a crusty painted ceiling of another building. Mind you, the hotel sits within acres of beautiful streams and trees not visible to me from the hotel room, for $1000/night, which does not include the forty percent added taxes and whatnot, was their cheapest room. The outdoors, where the hotel sits, is beyond inviting yet inaccessible from the building itself. You must walk over a bridge and follow a complicated path to engage with nature. No one is available to demonstrate the path of least resistance to this area. So, why not stay across the street? (Btw, I requested on the website a larger suite and they converted it to the afore mentioned room, willy-nilly, on check-in, without consulting me on it. One of the four weddings they had on this particular weekend carried more weight than my agreement/request. And the rate was not altered to reflect the downsizing. A con?) Should I describe the avocado toast I had for breakfast in their dining room for $30? Nah, I'll skip it. How about the bathroom which competes for real estate with the bed in the tiny room? Okay. The bath towels are the type one would get at Target, if you are looking for the cheapest and the smallest. Heaven forbid if you are taller than a leprechaun. Nevertheless, the shower head, square and small and missing some vital holes for the water to come, is perfect for an anorexic. If you weigh more than one hundred pounds a dance is necessary to self-clean the body. Let's mosey down to the outdoor seating area that overlooks a stunning landscape. Maybe ten to fifteen chairs to sit and chat or read a book outside. But wait, anyone from the public has the same rights as paying customers to the hotel, so there is nary a seat to be had. Everything costs here. Even water. Even a Mounds bar from the front desk. You may not want to hear the prices. Perhaps the exorbitant prices at the lobby bar would calm the nerves. But there are only 5 seats? Not conducive as a social lubricant. And to think that you must compete with non-guests for the bartender's attention, forget about a seat. In traveling around the world as a writer who stays at Hampton Inns to Ritz Carltons, I have never had the displeasure that this hotel offers. There is a myriad of hotels one or two or three blocks from this place that are a quarter of the price and also in the heart of downtown. This place is the worst. Never again here.

Beautiful architecture, design, and location! Did you know the hotel Is situated on a waterfall? Amazing. Greenville is a charming city with lots of goodness to explore.

Beautiful property, great location. We had dinner at your Resturant, beautiful dining room, food & service excellent. Valet at front door exceptional, greeted us professionally & assisted us in every manner.

The check in & check out experience was not what we expected at such a prestigious hotel like this one. (Both check in & check out was done by the same staff member) We expected more of a welcoming attitude upon check in which we did not receive. The check out experience was the same. It was not busy at the front desk upon our arrival or departure so more time could have been spent on welcoming a first time guest and checking on our overall experience upon check out.

The room service was limited and very bare bones. For example, I did not order a glass of water with my meal, assuming that would accompany the meal.

stunning location on the reedy river, our falls view was spectacular especially visiting during a snowstorm. the welcome cocktail was a nice touch. the restaurant was great - delicious breakfast with shareable portions. the rooms were spacious. we especially enjoyed the lobby area with the giant fireplace. it felt like a ski lodge.

rooms weren’t ready at check-in time. we were traveling with a group and one room was ready and ours was not. not a big deal but delayed getting settled and unpacked.

The coffe maker in my room either didn't work or I couldn't seem to figure it out!

We loved everything! From the beautiful view from our room, to the friendly staff, to the excellent service and delishous food on property, we loved all of it! We will be back!

beds were very comfortabel and we had a nice view over the waterfall, the location is great, bar is nice, we didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on that. Massage in the spa was very good

while this hotel is in a fabulous location it comes with a downfall - the lobby is absolutely overrun by non-hotel guests and makes it feel like a mall in the 90's. Don't expect to sit cozily by the fire.... Reception personnel was very impersonal and couldn't or wouldn't accommodate our request to add our reservation to Bonvoy in order to receive points. Shower only had overhead showerhead and no handheld wand and very low water pressure. Bright light in the toilet cubby makes you feel like in an operating room, especially annoying when using in the middle of the night. On the last night we received a coupon with turndown for a free appetizer AFTER we came back from dinner.... (we left at 7pm) Overall overrated for the price! Wouldn't go again. P.S. the driveup and Valet area turning radius is too small for bigger vehicles so expect to do some maneuvering ....
