Rooms so generous big and clean & fully provided with travelers’ necessities. Generous parking spaces and friendly concierge receptions. Walking distance to eateries , supermarkets and malls. 2nd time staying here and will go back if going to Desaru again.

Every Saturday the Mesh restaurant only offers buffet.

Location and room size

Really enjoyed my stay at Four Points by Sheraton Desaru. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well-maintained, and I was quite impressed with the overall facilities. Everything felt modern and well looked after. One area that could use some attention is the gym. The treadmills definitely need some servicing — the belts were quite slippery and made it difficult to run properly. Hopefully the hotel can have them checked and maintained. Other than that, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely consider coming back.

I think probably need to improve the breakfasts spread. Quite limited

Fantastic staff

Was only single glazed which I don’t think is acceptable from newly built big chain hotels like this. Being next to some big main roads meant some noise was heard at night from motorbikes in particular.

Nothing but just a feedback, ordered nasi lemak for breakfast thru in room service but unfortunately the fried chicken inside is still raw.. overall all was superb.

Location, not near to the beach but lots of restaurants nearby

We were told that there is shuttle bus from the beach to hotel but we don’t know the reservation is needed. We waited at the beach on time but there is no shuttle bus and no response from Grab. Luckily, a local young man helped us to find a car and finally we went back to hotel with a much higher price.

The area between the kids playground and swimming pool need to be well secured especially flooring. Very slippery n dangerous since the pool nearby. Pls look into the flooring or adding more anti slip mats.

The rooms were spacious, clean, modern. The breakfast was good. The bed and the pillows were comfortable. The stuff was nice: let us buy ice cream 10 min after the closure of ice cream stall (the ice cream was very good!). 2 min walk to a big super market. Free shuttle to ferry terminal.

Happened to stay there during national day in SG, and it was mad.... very chaotic, too clouded, so loud, so many kids, especially at breakfast, pool area, gym and all massage places nearby... other days it was fine but still quite loud, it's obviously a hotel mainly for families with kids. The hotel is very far from beach, Grab is easy only during day time, night time it was impossible to get a grab, we had to book a car via hotel reception. We called reception to get bathrobes, but they never brought them. We asked reception if they have any birthday benefits, they promised us 'a cake' and the delivered a cake, made of towels... a bit disappointing and misleading! Honestly even a cupcake leftover from breakfast would be a better idea. The iron was so very dirty that it stained the clothes, we had to replace it, for another dirty one... The lights in the bathroom are not suitable for make up. The pool area is not very inviting, unless you have kids.

The hotel lobby & corridor is foul smell. Same restruarant, morning complement breakfast is not good... but paid lunch is fresh & good.

The room was spacious, and the breakfast was superb. There are so many choices of food. For kids also have so many variety of food. The staff were very helpful. He help us send our luggage to our room and also show us our room number. We are request the room decoration and we do not need to pay any extra charge for that room decoration.

The swimming pool area was quite open and was located near the hotel restaurant.

Definitely better than HRC or Westin for room space and cheaper by half. Many eateries walking distance around and durian season is convenient for us to eat the stall just below.

We enjoyed the swimming pool, even though it was not very clean. Which we only realized after. Remote in the room wasn't working at all and we couldn't get through to room service after 7pm onwards... but that's all right :)

It's beyond my expectations. The service was excellent from security to receptionist and even kitchen staff. The room was neat and tidy too. Really looking forward to stay there again.

Cannot open the balcony . Insects flew inside on the bed. The housekeeping didnt do a good job. Didnt provide the bathroom floor towel.

What I liked about the property was that it was clean, well-maintained, and had a pleasant atmosphere throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist when needed. I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a decent variety of options and was a good start to the day.

What I disliked was that the mattress was a little firmer than my preference, while the pillows were too soft for comfortable sleep. The Saturday dinner buffet was average and did not quite meet my expectations, especially the seafood selection. Although there was a good variety of food available, the overall dining experience could be improved.

We travelled with 7 Adults, 1 Teenager, 3 children and 1 baby. The staffs were really helpful. From Check-in with GA name Kelvin Cheong who was really helpful and friendly and very quick in assisting us (a group of 12 people including kids) settled in our rooms. The concierge team who assisted with our luggages, and the operator/front desk that assisted with our ad hoc requests. The rooms that we booked (Premium Twin w balcony) was really huge! Note that there's only 2 such room types per floor. It could fit easily 2 Adult + 2 toddlers + 2 primary school kids if extra beds were requested and you still have space. (Asian body size) Other than that, we pretty much enjoyed our stay as the facilities was great. The location was nearby everywhere we intended to travel to (e.g Adventure Waterpark and Desaru Fruit Farm).

Cons- Breakfast spread is not a lot comparing to other hotels I've been (and we have been to several hotels a year with IHG and Marriott group) so that's the only feedback I have. We did go for their Seafood Dinner buffet which is only on Sat evening and the spread was worth it. It was delicious and I felt that the variety of spread for breakfast should match their dinner (in terms of qty not really expecting such seafood for bfast).

Smooth and hassle-free check-in and check-out experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable experience. Highly recommended!

i booked the room for 3 adults as the room stated that they had 2 double beds. and this costed $640 SGD. When i arrived at the property, the recep staff said the beds were single beds. i ended up paying an additional $140SGD FOR A SINGLE BED. The location is just bad. A well known hotel brand with no resort feels. Felt like i was staying in a regular apartment. Its not secluded like Westin Hotel. Just a bad experience and not worth the $780 SGD i spent for just Desaru.

Great for larger families. We had teenagers with larger build so the rooms were comfortable. Was near the surf schools which we were visiting. Breakfast was nice. Not too crowded.

Pool a little small. Whole hotel was value for money though it gave the feel of a more budget stay eg the floor tiles, the trays for the food etc.

Overall ok. If can, provide Milo for kids.

The kettle was greasy and appeared to have an oily residue inside. After boiling water, visible oil marks were left on the surface. Previous guest may have used the kettle to cook Maggie noodles or similar instant food items, with the noodles and curry seasoning placed directly into the kettle.

Room is spacious and comfortable. Service staff are friendly and welcoming, especially the hotel door men. Near to Desaru Fruit Farm as well.

Nous y sommes restés deux nuits. La chambre était très spacieuse et la literie était très confortable. Le personnel du bar était très accueillants et les portiers/sécurité très serviables.

La qualité de la nourriture du restaurant et du petit déjeuner n’est pas à la hauteur même s’il y a beaucoup de choix. Le personnel à l’accueil a pu parfois être un peu rude.

The location is super convenient, with lots of nearby convenience stores, makan spots, hair salons, and massage places all within walking distance. Great range of in-house activities, though having more options available on weekdays would make the experience even better.

Staff was friendly, breakfast had different varieties of food and tastes good, shower was great, room was big and spacious as well. Towels, soap, toilet paper all provided. Staff brought the foam pillow as soon as it was requested so i was very thankful for that. Managed to swim a little too. Managed to check-in early as there was nobody staying in the room before.

Breakfast did not have ice, saw some ants crawling on some food. Room looked clean but it was actually quite dusty up close, did not sleep well for the 2 nights as i had very bad allergy from the dust, which was quite unfortunate.

The ball room Aircon is too hot if full capacity. The food is too salty and the fish is not fresh for the ballrooms dinner . After a big event , the restaurant or cafe most of the food is out of stock. Need to plan well if got big functions is going on.

Room was in poor condition upon arrival. There was a strong musky smell, bedsheets and pillowcases were dirty, and the pillow was old and lumpy. Towels were thin and clearly worn out. These are very basic housekeeping standards that should not be missed at any level, let alone under the Marriott brand. We initially considered asking housekeeping to replace everything and just tolerating the stay. However, during dinner, we realised that the “Visit Malaysia” package was not as advertised on the Marriott app at the point of booking. That became the tipping point. Disappointed, we requested to shorten our stay from 2 nights to 1. Visha from the F&B team was helpful in assisting to convey our concerns to management, which we appreciate. Ironically, the only consistent hospitality we experienced came from the security team — always proactive with luggage, opening doors, and greeting guests. They set a better example of service than the front desk. Given the gap in both room condition and booking accuracy, this stay did not reflect the standards I typically associate with Marriott properties.

The location is far from the beach. We came for golf and the shuttle only starts at 9 with only 3 rounds throughout the day. That too broke down!!

Really good sound insulation, even my room just right beside lift lobby but not being disturbed at all. The balcony glass door macam is double volume glass, isolate heat & sound. Location wise nearby got alot of shop & eatery, recommended chai shen po chicken rice & yam 918
