We verbleven op de begane grond tegenover schoonmaak ruimte en die beginnen 6 uur met werken. Hotel is halal. Op zich geen probleem maar was vooraf niet bekend.

I liked the comfort of the bed and the coziness of the foyer. The masala omelettes were amazing. Hot porridge was made especially for us on request.

The breakfast needs to be upgraded as far as the layout goes eg proper juice dispensers, crockery in a seperate area and not in the same area where people are crowded to get juice and fruit etc. Service in the breakfast area was not consistent with regards to glasses, cutlery etc. Housekeeping is not efficient as the person on the front desk usually tends to guests needs and when he is busy, sometimes one has to call numerous times before a request is tended to. The room can do with more tasteful design. Lastly the little sink is so impractical.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s a lovely place in a very safe area, and you can really feel that as soon as you arrive. The room is spacious and well equipped, with a kitchen where you can actually cook your own meals, which is a big plus.

It’s difficult to give an overall rating as I stayed here twice at different times, and the experiences were very different. My first stay (Room 15) was simply perfect, but unfortunately, the second stay (Room 7) was quite the opposite. We booked twin beds but were given a king bed, and had to wait at least 20 minutes for the room to be rearranged. Towels were also forgotten, the bedsheet was torn, there was mold in the bathroom, and a used sheet had been left in the cupboard. Hopefully these issues can be addressed, as my first stay was excellent and showed that the place can be very good.

Starting from the reception, everyone was so welcoming and warm. The room was just beautiful. Very clean and everything I needed was available, even wine glasses!! The balcony had some seats, good for enjoying the afternoon sun. The blackout curtains were my favorite part, I could sleep in without noticing the light. The breakfast spread was also good. I had an amazing quiet time, exactly what I needed. This will definitely be my Sandton stay! I recommend 100%!

The bathroom had a musty smell when you enter it first, it was not too strong.

There was no toilet brush in the toilet. We could not connect to the TV using a HDMI cable, but we were informed only after that its not allowed.

My room had a door linked to another room. Why I never booked that. So my sleep was disrupted the whole night by the people next to mine.

The friendliness

Very convenient location. Close to shops. Easy access to main roads. Facility clean and will maintained. Rooms are big, and also liked the fact that it had self catering facilities.

Guests came to breakfast in their pj's. Really not a good sight for a place of such high stature and class. I havent seen this before in any hotel, as a matter of fact I seem to think there is a rule arou d this. The only thing that will keep me from coming back.

Quiet and clean

The staff are amazing, perfect location, quiet, rooms are great, comfortable and clean. Hotel in general is great and I will recommend this. From security, to restaurant staff, reception, you name it, are just fantastic. Outshines some of the more pricey hotels I usually stay in, in Sandton, but they wont see me again as Ill keep returning here, purely because the staff make this stay!

Aircon in my room didnt work as it should have - The inverter is apparantly shared so if one is on cool, the other rooms cant be on heat and vice versa. So not ideal. Bonus, staff came to check within minutes and then explained! Really amazing service by staff. This is small, but not great. Breakfast was great - Got there at 6:30am and everything werent ready, so I think If I got there at 6am I wouldve had to wait. But its a great brekkie and the staff are all amazing so its something really small, but worth having a look at.

The body wash had what looked like old product residue inside the bottle, making it appear as though it had been mixed with leftover product without the bottle being properly cleaned. It looked unhygienic and was disgusting.

The air conditioning was very noisy. The curtains let light from outside into the room. Apart from the lights outside the window, the sunrise woke us much earlier than we would have wanted.

Right from the gate I was received well. Check in was so fast - 1 minute. All staff were professional and friendly. Internet was super fast! The food and service were excellent! Checkout was so simple!

Breakfast is terrible. Staff are unfriendly. The lady with spectacles in the breakfast area does not greet when asking for room numbers. She does not even greet back if you greet her. The front staff give the impression that they are doing you a favour. The rooms are in need of maintenance. THE SHOWER GOES COLD MID SHOWER FOR A LONG TIME. I have stayed at this property many times over the last 4 years but I can see that it is in complete decline.

Loved the added breakfast with good options in the hot section, however in the cold section they could add more options.

Having booked because I had no hot water at home, I was looking to have a good hot soak in the bath and shower however the hot water was very unpredictable which was a bit disappointing.

The staff at the reception and during breakfast time were very professional, helpful and welcoming.

Not all rooms available when we arrived - despite us telling them when we'd get there. While we had dinner people were doing loud maintenance work just behind us in the dining room. We were told breakfast started at 6:30 but it was after 6:50 by the time they had put everything out - only 20min delay but annoying when you're stood waiting and have a flight you're catching that morning. Wasn't the service you'd expect for Hyatt....

Location was great as this was a business trip. On arrival the reception was very professional. Room was neat and clean.

I found the breakfast experience extremely disappointing. The coffee served from the vending machine was cold, and although a replacement was offered, the second cup was equally cold. Unfortunately, all hot breakfast items were also served cold. It appeared that the food had been prepared well in advance and transferred into Le Creuset stoneware casseroles, several of which were visibly chipped and cracked. These were placed on induction warmers set at 60°C, which would be acceptable only if the food had been at the correct serving temperature to begin with. While the presentation was attractive and the chef took photographs of each dish, it was evident that insufficient attention had been given to the most fundamental requirement—ensuring the food was served at a safe and enjoyable temperature. When I raised my concerns with the chef and management, the response was simply, "sorry." As a result, I was unable to enjoy the breakfast and merely picked at the meal. What made the experience particularly disappointing was that I had invited a guest to join me for breakfast. Aside from the embarrassment this caused, I was charged R275.00 for her meal. This level of quality and service falls well below the standard I would expect from the Hyatt Group.

Location was perfect. Breakfast was decent. Nonhlanhla out did herself. Staff were friendly and obliging. A perfect stay for me indeed.

Extractor fan was non functional as bathroom did not have any other ventilation. That was abit uncomfortable.
