Breakfast was good, food fantastic.

Frankly i noted nothing of my deslike. Stuff were particulary friendly, welcoming and supperb.

1. Not a 5 star facility. Stayed 2 nights. Coffee capsules were not replaced with new ones. For a 5 star facility bar fridge needs to be stocked. No glasses in room.

Staff is the one asset of this establishment.

The property was really cold without any atmosphere. It was really dirty on the outside with chairs and counters really not clean our room also had drinks marks from previous guests etc. for a 5 star hotel, we certainly expected more ! The room literally offers nothing. Not good value for money. Over priced . Struggle to find the value.

Exquisite property. The gardens and art are really beautiful and create such a special ambience. The staff were exceptional, the room was incredibly tasteful, comfortable and well laid out. Special mention for the massage at the onsite Camelot spa.

Spacious rooms in a lovely location. The bar and restaurant were lovely, with great food and a wide selection of both local and international drinks. The staff was professional, ready to help and welcoming.

My 1-night stay at SEVEN Villa Hotel & Spa was a luxurious tranquility experience. Although brief, the visit left a lasting impression. The atmosphere was serene and calming, which provided the perfect balance to the intensity of my two-day workshop. The staff were attentive and professional, ensuring a seamless check-in and a comfortable stay. The room was elegantly designed, with thoughtful touches that made it feel indulgent yet restful. Even in a short stay, I appreciated the quiet environment and the sense of retreat it offered. I would gladly return for a longer visit to fully enjoy the spa and other amenities.

I had an excellent stay, I cannot complain in anything except the short lactate menu. Otherwise I went there most for the quality rooms, vast tv channels and most the massage and sona.

The room was very comfortable with a great bed. The hotel staff were very welcoming, especially Matthews. Breakfast was good although no eggs to order. The central garden area was lovely as was the terrace area off the restaurant.

The WiFi was a little iffy - not a solid, good connection. Pool area is pretty small in real life.

I recently stayed at the SEVEN Villa Hotel & Spa, and it was an incredible experience. The property is located in Strathavon, just minutes away from Sandton City, but it feels like a secluded nature retreat. The moment you walk in, you are surrounded by lush green gardens, beautiful sculptures, and the relaxing sound of waterfalls, which completely blocks out the busy city noise. What I loved: - The Rooms: My suite was huge, modern, and spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the private balcony offered a lovely view of the gardens. - The Spa: The Camelot Spa on-site is fantastic. I booked a massage, and it was easily one of the best spa treatments my wife has had. - The Staff: Every single staff member was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. What we didn't like: -The Restaurant We ordered several meals to our room and while the food was good, every single meal was ice-cold. : A few quick tips for travelers: - Check out the Cognac and Cigar Bar Overall, this hotel offers the perfect balance of luxury, convenience, and peace. It is ideal for couples looking for a romantic getaway or business travelers who want a calm place to unwind after a long day. I will definitely be back!

What made my stay worthwhile was the exceptional staff- everyone from the porters and reception team to the waiters provided warm, professional, and outstanding service throughout my stay.

During my stay, I experienced several maintenance issues that negatively affected my comfort. The refrigerator was not functioning for the duration of my stay, despite reporting the issue and having it replaced twice. The electricity also tripped repeatedly throughout my stay. In addition, the air conditioner was inconsistent and kept switching on and off. The bathwater was only lukewarm, as the mixer tap in the bathtub does not fully open on the hot-water side. I also noted that the floor area along the wall of the bathtub requires more thorough cleaning, as it appeared dirty. I trust these issues will be addressed to improve the experience for future guests.

10 out 10 for the location, food, rooms and 15 out 10 for the staff who made it all possible. From the Matheus ensuring the plan is executed, to Akhona with the preparation to Bernard with the journey to and from the unit and definitely the kitchen, from the updates from chef during dinner and going the extra mile of Katlego for ensuring we well fed and taking care off. 15 out 10.

The food was good.

I booked a villa, which I would have expected to be exquisite, given the amount of money I paid. The furniture had dust, including the side lamps. The bath tub had not been cleaned properly. Soap and shower gels were quite limited considering that we were staying overnight. We would have needed to use the bath/shower the day of arrival as well as the morning of departure.

I was part of the Indaba Fam Group from India, and I was given room 215 in the section where in Drilling and construction was happening and when I enquire about giving me such a room it was informed that our Organizers(Which was South Africa tourism) had pressurized them in giving such a room, and when I countered them by quoting that " If tomorrow someone ask you to set up a Camp in your beautiful gardens will you consider such a request then no body had any answer and how you as Hotel could dilute from your own Standard Operating Procedures, and after Hearing Drilling Sounds and feeling dust inside my Room, I checked out after 5 Minutes and Made my reservation with Southern Sun Sandton Hotel and it was beautiful stay there.

A little oasis in the city. A peaceful and green property, rooms stylish and very spacious. The staff were very attentive and helpful. They also provide a free transfer to the Sandton mall, very useful as we did not have a car for this part of our holiday in SA.

The breakfast was ordinary , did not meet a 5 star rating, however the staff was amazing

we came at the time when there were renovations in the rooms, firstly we were not told, we could have made better decisions. The banging and extreme noise was unbearable until 5 pm. And we had to perform Teams meetings , therefore I had to cancel my meetings while my husband was using the boardroom.

Stayed one night in April as we needed to be close to the airport. Hotel was nice, room was good with nice private outdoor space. Good shower. Blessing & Chef Thomas looked after us really well in the restaurant despite there being a big party dining. Food for both lunch & dinner were excellent and a good variety for breakfast. Hopefully we will return.

Horrible service from the staff. Very bad attitude when we arrived. There was no tissue paper in the room. The lights were cut off during our stay. Not enough parking and you can’t leave the property after 10pm which is ridiculous!

1.) Der im gebuchte Hotel Shuttle vom Flughafen hat mich ins falsche Hotel gefahren 2.) Das Hotel bzw. die Hotelgruppe bombardiert einen mit WhatsApp - das nervt! 3.) Das Hotel befindet sich in der Renovierung - das war bei der Buchung nicht bekannt... Die Räumlichkeiten neben und und das komplette Stockwerk über meinem Zimmer wurde renoviert (Böden/ Bad etc.) Es war fürchterlich laut - im Wellness Hotel.... Nach Beschwerde wurde mir eine Villa zum gleichen Preis angeboten, das war super und sehr komfortabel :-) ! Danke !

The setting was serene and natural. I liked the art in all the public spaces. My room was a suite, and really nice and spacious.

My room was far from reception with lots of stairs. I feel that customers should be warned about this. It excludes people with musculoskeletal issues.
