Nur wenig Englischkenntnisse beim Personal und Probleme beim Bezahlen mit Bargeld ohne Alipay oder WeChat, speziell bei Extras. Täglich neue Preise für die Buchung.

Reviewed Nov 3, 2025The lobby was all the way inside and drivers have to go into the carpark and go back up to the lobby which was very inconvenient. The doors do not have a soft closing so whenever the neighbor leaves the room, the door just slams behind and this happened early in the morning. Customer service was not very helpful and the air conditioning in the room did not work.

Despite having multiple power outlets in the room, none of them worked to charge my electronic devices. Room had fairly small floor space. Slightly odd to have the reception on the 21st floor, which can cause congestion while waiting for the elevator. Decent breakfast options, but I found the eggs to be a little undercooked.

The room is advertised as having a “city view” so I thought I was going to have a view…… The windows were glazed, there was no view at all and that was really disappointing and felt a little bit like false advertisement, especially since it was part of the reason I’d booked this room specifically.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2025The hotel is quite far from downtown Shanghai. The rooms are spacious but lack basic amenities such as a wardrobe, iron, and laundry service. The worst part is that there is no air conditioning, even though the temperature reaches around 30°C. The hotel explained that they use the city's central air conditioning system, which only provides cooling during the summer. However, this is unfair to guests who pay for their stay but have to endure a hot and uncomfortable room, even hotter than outside. Despite being a luxury hotel, the staff's English proficiency is poor. It wasn't stated that the hotel would take a deposit, and it's been over three days, yet the deposit hasn't been refunded.

The staff were dreadful. They looked like they hate their jobs. The check in at the same level as their bar counter, I guess it’s the concept, which should translate to a fun atmosphere. It was just the opposite. Really ruined our experience .

For the price and for the good staff it is acceptable but would stay at a more lively hotel next time. Metro station is within walking distance though far from downtown
Due to the location of the hotel, there were not many guests staying, hence the breakfast and bar was non-existent. Outside hotel many locations closed early compared to the downtown Shanghai.

Reviewed May 3, 2024Hotel is in a quiet area of Shanghai about 45 minutes by metro to Xintiandi and Hongqiao Airport. The price is very affordable and if you do not mind the long metro rides then staying here is an option. The shower area is very big and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is also part of the Marriott chain for points. The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and polite. Location-wise it is near a mall with restaurants, services and supermarkets close by.
Unfortunately the food and beverages are average. It is better to walk 5 minutes outside the hotel to eat at the restaurants nearby.
