We stayed at the Paramount Hotel Midtown Dubai to celebrate Christmas, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Christmas Eve dinner at the Malibu Restaurant on the 64th floor was a real highlight. The setting alone is impressive, with stunning views, but the service made it exceptional. Jason looked after us throughout the evening and delivered truly outstanding service—attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, which made the evening feel special. Our stay was made even better by a complimentary suite upgrade with a Burj Khalifa view, which added a real “wow” factor and elevated the whole experience. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully presented. Overall, it was a fantastic Christmas stay, combining great hospitality, excellent dining, and memorable views. We would happily return and highly recommend the hotel for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion in Dubai.

Location is fantastic as it is really close from the centre. It's like a 20 minutes walk to Burj Khalifa and Dubai's Mall. The hotel rooms are amazingly clean, cozy and they offer, a bottle of water, tea, coffee capsules, bath robes and slippers. We were on the side where the Sheikh Zayed Rd is, going towards the Palm and it was noisy during the whole day. Also we could not change the temp of the aircon and our room was really freezing cold. The personnel did try and next day was slightly better. The personnel is really polite and are eager to help you out. Really amazed by their professionalism. Breakfast was immaculate. All very fresh and honestly a big variety. As we entered the breakfast area we were seated, asked the coffee we like and we were served. Huge variety with local delicacies and European breakfast choices. We also had dinner at the Paparazzi Restaurant. The food was excellent and the personnel fantastic. Italian flavors well executed. There is always taxis waiting in the entrance and if all are occupied, the personnel in the entrance, are really eager to help you out and using an app they can call a taxi for you. My score if I had to add one, would surely be 95%.

Lovely experience at Malibu Lounge in Paramount Hotel. Great ambiance and excellent service from Jayson, who was attentive and welcoming throughout. Special mention to the Laksa Prawn and Lamb Chop, both were absolutely delicious. A spot I would happily come back to.

From the moment we arrived, Jones welcomed us with warmth and genuine care. Vijay impressed us daily with exceptional service, attention to detail, and an incredible memory — always remembering our room and checking in on us. The hotel is spotless, beautifully designed, and decorated for Christmas with a magical chocolate kingdom in the lobby — made of real cookies and chocolate. Our room was perfect: calm colors, fully equipped, excellent blackout, a great shower, and the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. The rooftop pool and bar on the 64th floor are breathtaking, day and night — amazing views, great food, and great drinks. Breakfast was excellent, led by Rama, who manages the restaurant with heart, professionalism, and genuine care for both guests and staff. The café became our daily stop thanks to Eve — wonderful coffee and warm, personal service every single day. Housekeeping, especially Sisil, was outstanding — anything we needed, anytime, always with a smile. A hotel with soul, people who truly care, and an experience we didn’t want to end. Highly recommended.

Excellent service, outstanding staff - Ilham and Sumesh in Paparazzi restaurant M Khaled at Reception Zakaria at Reception And all others who I do not know the names of - very kind, generous and polite in their behaviour to us at all times. I’d forgotten my water bottle and was returned by Zakaria safely when we came back. Would love to return. Keep up the good work all of you.

Had an coctail master class experience here. Absolutely loved this place! The Melrose bar has an amazing atmosphere — stylish, vibrant, and incredibly welcoming. The cocktail masterclass was a real highlight: fun, interactive, and perfectly organized. The location of Paramount Hotel Midtown is very good, but unfortunately the positives end there. This hotel has some serious issues that make it feel far from a 5-star property. The staff behavior is shockingly rude and completely unprofessional. One morning I wanted to take a coffee from breakfast up to my room — something that has never been a problem in any high-end hotel I’ve stayed at. Instead, a staff member ran after me, took the coffee out of my hands, and told me I wasn’t allowed to take the cup to the room. When I asked for a takeaway option, they said it wasn’t possible and that they “don’t have it,” and that coffee can only be consumed during breakfast. A few days later, something even more bizarre happened: a girl who wasn’t feeling well tried to take two slices of bread (wrapped politely in a napkin) back to her room. Staff confronted her, took the bread out of her hands, and threw it in the trash in front of everyone. This was not only extremely disrespectful to her but also a shocking waste of food. I have never seen behavior like this in any hotel claiming to be 5 stars. Other issues: • The sauna was out of service for the entire week, with no sign of repair. • The hotel layout is strange — to get to the pool, you actually need to switch elevators in the lobby on the 14th floor, which is unnecessarily inconvenient. Overall, the way this hotel operates feels closer to a 2–3 star property, not a luxury one. With the rude staff, non-functioning facilities, and bizarre rules, I cannot recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

I must say our stay was nothing short of fantastic and our stay was very pleasant. Early check-in facility was exceptional without any hesitation considering we arrived at 10.00am. Further to this we were given connecting rooms with my two sons. The rooms were absolutely wonderful with stunning views of the Burj Khalifa and very spacious. The staff were always on hand to help and very kind and helpful. We will definitely return to this hotel the next time we are Dubai. So highly recommended and we so miss the place. Cannot wait to return

Where do I begin?!?!?! Paramount Hotel Midtown was absolutely AMAZING!!!! Staff was professional, attentive and always courteous!!! I enjoyed the Melrose Bar & Lounge! Jishu was the bartender back to back days for my sister and I, and he was as SUPERB!!! He explained the menu, offered a variety of drinks and food, and gave us insight on Dubai and what it had to offer. He was very warm welcoming and friendly to say the least! This place is a 10:10!!!! Highly recommend!!!

Disappointing – Not Up to Dubai Standards This was my fifth time in Dubai, and I’ve never been so disappointed with a hotel. When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready on time — we had to wait almost three hours to check in. When we finally got the room, I found hair on the bed before anyone had even sat on it. After several calls to reception, they agreed to change the room. The second room was slightly better, but the cleanliness was still far below the standard you would expect in Dubai. I also requested a late check-out for just two extra hours, especially considering the delayed check-in and the dirty first room. At first, the receptionist refused, and only after I reminded her of the situation did she agree to extend it for one room. The hotel advertises its pool everywhere, but it’s practically unusable. The building is shared with residents, and by 8:00 AM all the sunbeds are already taken — mostly by families from the residential apartments with their children. Unless you pay a high fee for a private table, there’s no space available. Breakfast is overcrowded with long lines and no available seating, and using the elevators can take up to 30 minutes due to constant queues, especially to and from the pool area. This hotel simply does not match its price point and certainly not the standards of Dubai. A very disappointing experience. Not recommended at all.

To be honest, the first two days I wasn't comfortable in the room, but thanks to JONNA, the wonderful receptionist, she changed my room and my stay became better and more perfect than I expected. We stayed at Paramount Midtown for my birthday treat. I chose this hotel because of the Instagram photos and the beautiful Burj Khalifa view, and I specifically booked a room with that view. Unfortunately, my expectations were high, but the experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, I was lost and looking for the lobby. I asked someone for help, and it turned out he was a staff member. He just said, “Oh, you’re checking in with us? The lobby is this way,” without any proper welcome or assistance. The hotel entrance is confusing since you have to take a lift to reach the lobby, but there’s no one to guide you. It really felt like you had to find your own way. When we reached our room, it had only a partial Burj Khalifa view, not what I expected. The AC controller was loose and not working properly, the TV remote didn’t work, and the towels were in poor condition. Cleanliness was also not up to standard. Honestly, I regretted staying here. The only good thing about this hotel is the pool area and the Burj Khalifa view from there. Other than that, it was very disappointing.
