Window would not lock shut felt really unsafe did not stay at property mould in room tv did not work had to leave and book somewere else at 11pm at night no refund given booking.com very bad customer services

Location is good ,car parking is free,room we had is huge.

The hotel is very worn you can see it needs renovation , receptionist said they renovating one building and then they will do the one we were staying

Clean that’s about it. We felt like we were scammed.

It wasn’t what or where it was supposed to be. The alternative accommodation was in a dirty rough area with house clearance rubbish lying everywhere outside. They only informed us a couple of days ahead when obviously the original 4 star hotel was being renovated for a considerable time before we booked and was never going to be available. The alternative was clean inside but no way was it a 4 star level hotel -it was an old house that had rooms made into bedsits.

Staff were friendly

Under reservation, nothing like what was described or show in photos. Uncomfortable beds, dirty shower an toilet area. It was a prefab with timber panels, did not feel say or secure.

The room was big

There was works in the hotel. Room was really dirty and need to be refreshed. It was also pretty noisy because of the road nearby.

It’s not clean. The floors are dirty? We had no hot water all rooms were in different buildings as they stated they were fully booked but I had booked a good few weeks in advance. The plug in the shower was off the wall leaving wires exposed and you have to pay for parking too £15 they said even though when I asked I was told £10!

I stayed at this hotel from January 3rd, and from check-in to checkout everything was handled perfectly. Despite the ,5°C weather, the room was warm, smelled fresh, and the new carpet felt incredibly soft almost like walking on clouds. The room was amazing, especially considering how affordable the price was. I highly recommend this hotel.

Worst room I’ve ever stayed in. Filthy, smelly, uncomfortable, drunk people outside making noise, someone tried to open our door in the middle of the night. At 7 am a van parked in front of our room and started making lots of noise. Avoid.

This is our 2nd stay in this hotel with booking.com but this time i had bad experience with hotel. I have a 2days booking with 2rooms i checked inn yesterday and there’s no light in our rooms its gone mid night to next day till 16:00hrs phone dead laptop dead no business work and there’s no one on the reception for hours and even we called the given duty manager no one the reception no one answer room temperature more worst than the outer sun heat temperature because no light no fans working. Looking for refund of this worst experience

Property clearly hosting permanent people a little down on their luck paid for by local government. The property looked run down. My bedroom 103 was on the ground floor. The room was filthy, the carpet was never hovers with sweet wrapping and dirt on the carpet. I was very disappointed to be honest. This was 50/50 to stay. The smell of old musky smoke was everywhere where. One saving grace was the sheets was clean and the radiator worked. In short you couldn’t pay me to stay a night here.

We did not stay . The lobby was clean basic but well presented the rest of the hotel was a nightmare . On the way up to flights of stairs we started to see the dishevelled and dirty carpets . Its ok its communial areas ..... then we got to the room . Bathroom was disgusting brown stains on the vynil silicone hanging off shite marks in the bowl . The main room had dinks in the plasterboard walls the carpet was grubby my wife wouldnt take the boys socks off . No pillows on the z bed . The ones on the double were less than you would expect . There were hairs in the double bed . The tv didnt work no channels when i got it to work using the side buttons ,great with a 5 year old .wifi was none existant no way this is a 4 star hotel

A bit tatty., TV didnt work. Only one very thin pillow, on each bed, when we asked for more pillows we were told, that all the roons only had onr pillow per bed , we were eventualy given one more pillow each from an empty room as there were no extra pillows. So we went to the local ASDA and bought some pillows. Found it funny we had to buy pillows. However it was very good value for money even after buying the pillows

It was very easy to access & great value for the money. It’s perfect for a short stay!

The building can be difficult to access late at night so it’s advised to make contact with staff or make bookings before 8pm.

I liked the location of the hotel in reference to the reason for my travel.

We were first placed in a room- the heating was not working and the room was freezing cold. We were met with a sight of rubbish bins and stuff that looked like it had been dumped and needed to be disposed of. We asked for a room change and the room we ended up in was past a dirty utility area near the reception area. The pillows were like pancakes and the bed was so uncomfortable. A lot needs working on. Won't be using again.

Check in inesistente. Erano le 22 e avevamo avvisato ma all’arriva la porta della reception era aperta ma non c’era nessuno. Dopo svariate telefonate e’ scesa una persona che stava dormendo e abbastasta scocciata. Sul portare era permesso il check-in fino alle 23:30. Le foto pubblicate non rispettano la realtà. Le stanze piccole, malridotte con macchie di umidità al soffitto, tende staccate, moquette sporca e danneggiata.
