Great hotel lovely location and great staff
The location is good in terms of centrality to shops, restaurants and cultural activities. The room was tastefully designed as is the commons area of the lobby / lounge and restaurant. The floor plan and furnishings are well organized. I love the fact that a clothing steamer is in the room (best way to de-wrinkle clothing). The slippers and bathrobe are also appreciated. On the first morning (but not thereafter) a basket of fruit , cheese and pastry is left outside the door. Nice touch! The vanity desk is very useful and attractive, and the "ring" lighting is quite flattering. There is also a full size mirror which is very useful, and a decent about of space for clothes and luggage. The bed and the pillows are very comfortable and feel cloud-like. The shower has decent water pressure and the bathroom is well equipped (except for the poor amount of hooks). The valet parking set up is very convenient and the valet staff as well as the front desk staff are excellent. I also had an excellent experience with the concierge (Kaitlyn) whose assistance more than made up for any glitches of the overall hotel experience.
Precisely because it is so central better soundproofing should be provided so that one doesn't have to hear the street noise so clearly from the room. The walls are also fairly thin so if you happen to have a neighbor (as I did) who doesn't understand how to speak in a normal volume voice or how to avoid constantly banging up against the shared wall, you will suffer as a result. The bathroom only had one hook (on which the bathrobe was hung) so there are no handy places to hang your towel or clothes when showering. Odd. The outlet at the vanity desk is so close to the desk top that you can not plug in certain kinds of electronics (like my Dyson hair straightener) because the plug is too bulky and runs up against the desk top. These details should be more thoughtfully designed -- just an inch more of height above the desk surface would have made all the difference. The television remote control is probably the cheapest one on the market, which is surprising for a "nicer" hotel. The buttons stick or are otherwise non-responsive. It takes forever to bring up the guide, change a channel, adjust the volume -- these things should not be so time consuming, and with a better remote control they wouldn't be. The coffee pot is not so easy to do correctly even though there are instructions provided. It would be nice to have an espresso making option or at least speedier coffee room service. This is minor, but the door sign indicating that you want room service or want to be left alone is all monochromatic brown in color, so it can not be easily read from a distance. I am not sure if that is related to the fact that someone knocked on our door despite the fact that we had the do not disturb option faced outward, but from a design perspective, it doesn't make sense for these signs to be so hard to read from any distance (we had to hold it up to our face to make sure we understood which side was which).
Wonderful hotel. ZACK is the man! Great front desk experience.
This hotel had everything….rooftop bar, friendly service, beautiful room! Would return in a heartbeat and have already recommended to family and friends. Spot on central location.
Not what I expected! Super noisy ! Big enough room but not even having a decent space to hang clothes. No place to hang wet towels. Lousy water pressure. Breakfast Basket was in paper bag and the biggest disappointment. Roof top bar was closed!!!!
Do not come to Asheville. I would encourage any family to go elsewhere.
Asheville itself is the perfect solo travel destination — walkable, full of character, and has an energy that makes you feel completely at ease on your own. Already counting down to my next visit.
Excellent stay…. Only issues were noise from street and no room safe Great staff and ambiance….need one more character to add to review!
The Restoration Asheville is very well appointed. The service was exceptional, excellent staff…especially Anna. Location, Location, Location
Nice rebuild of old bank location. Art deco revival, large room. Self parking for $12/day in clean sage feeling public garage very close to back entrance of hotel. Very pleasant service and welcome. Had simple very good dinner at the bar. A little breakfast with truly fresh fruit comes in a little picnic paper bag outside your room door. Wholefoods with charging in parking lot just a few minutes away
Incredible from start to finish. It’s the kind of hotel where you don’t even feel the need to lift the sheets to check for bed bugs. While most hotels hide the filtered water and make you buy a 10 cent bottle of deer park for $15, they offered complimentary filtered still and sparkling water throughout our stay, a stocked minibar with free non-alc bevys. Each morning, they left a beautiful breakfast basket at our door filled with fresh food and fruit. The valet service was reasonably priced, and the staff were genuinely wonderful. We were able to bring our dog for a small fee, and they even spoiled him with treats every day. The suite was spotless, spacious, and featured an incredibly comfortable bed. The lobby coffee was excellent, and the kids loved the arcade night where games were free to play. They also accommodated our very late check-in with kindness and professionalism. 10/10 — I would absolutely love to come back.
This is a beautiful hotel with fantastic attention to detail in design and significant offerings for leisure within the hotel. The food and drinks at the restaurant and bars were excellent. The breakfast basket is a quant idea but came late in the morning and was weak. The coffee in the room was fantastic but no complementary coffee in the lobby despite there being a clearly designated location for it. The coffee shop seemed to have a great offerings but seemed to have some management issues. The arcade was delightful and such unique and well-done feature. We would have loved to utilize the rooftop terrace and bar - one of the reasons we chose this hotel for our trip - but it was restricted for a wedding both days. The rooms was gorgeous and well-appointed, though the mattresses were quite firm. The fact that the Watchmen restaurant space was kept open for guests to utilize as a work or reading space during the day was lovely. All in all, we will definitely try this hotel again, they just need to make mornings run more smoothly and match the level of attention given to other areas.
We spent 2 nights - a premier king suite - it was a lovely room. Modern; well equipped; kept spotlessly clean. The staff were very nice and helpful - particularly the valet team - spot on with their service. Unfortunately we didn’t gel with the vibes of this hotel - it was purportedly converted from commercial premises (a bank I believe) which meant it was not built with hotel use in mind - absence of inviting custom-built reception and guest relaxation areas. There was no cosy feel to the seating areas so the afternoon wine and snacks service (included in the day rate) was almost a grab-and-consume affair. Rather than serving from the bar area - the service was ad-hoc arrangement from the cafe counter behind the lifts. Similarly the included breakfast was simple cold fare - bagged and dropped unannounced at the suite door at 08:00hrs. Even the prior agreed request for an early pick-up from reception at 07:30hrs was unfulfilled. I believe that not including both the afternoon wine and morning breakfast bag - with a commensurate rate reduction - would make better value proposition). Finishing this review on an upside, the hotel is easy to access from the main highway - and easily walkable to some very good restaurants.
Beautiful property with luxury amenities provided by outstanding staff. What a treat! Our room had a balcony overlooking the park. Breakfast baskets delivered both days were excellent. In room coffee maker and beverage/snack choices excellent. Bathroom and shower plus luxury robes. We really enjoyed relaxing Saturday morning!
This is our go-to hotel when in Asheville. This was a very hard trip, we were spending time with our Uncle who was in hospice care. We didn't know how long we would be in town. The staff was so caring, comforting and accommodating! We had to change rooms because our double room was booked for a wedding. They took GREAT care of us! Zack, Leighla, and Julia were front desk ANGELS, and Rick and Matt were always there with a caring word and open door when taking care of the multiple times we needed the car in and out! We really felt taken care of during our time of need, and we will be forever thankful! Will be back to enjoy Asheville, and The Restoration is our forever stay!
The Restoration Asheville delivered an amazing experience across the board. The room and bathroom as beautiful, spacious, and well designed as well as immaculate. The front desk and concierge staff were wonderful and always had good recommendations. The hotel offers transport in a comfortable Jeep to anywhere nearby, which makes short trips to a restaurant or galleries very convenient and easy. The complimentary breakfast baskets each morning always offered a nice treat (even though we went out to breakfast every morning to try different parts of Asheville's food scene). The Rise coffee downstairs was the best we had in Nashville. The location is also very convenient to nearly everything downtown.
Stayed for a couple of nights for spring break. Room was on the 4th floor and while there was no road noise, our neighbors didn't take note of the posted "quiet hours" plus the walls must be very thin, so we busted out a travel-size white noise sound machine for the second half of our stay (highly recommend) to get some decent sleep. Valet service was excellent, worth the additional $30/day but the hotel's location makes it very easy to access many shops and restaurants on foot. Area felt safe despite some potheads and some pan-handling, overall the area has a mellow vibe ;) Complimentary breakfast baskets were a nice daily treat, supplemented by a quick coffee run to the lobby coffee shop. Complimentary water bottles were handy too - hotel rooms tend to run dry. Daily complimentary happy hour was a nice touch too - allowing for a nice break in the day to make evening plans. Rooms were comfortable, clean and well appointed. Only negative (and kind of being a stickler here) was that housekeeping seemed a bit hasty - didn't replenish/clean the in-room coffee maker after our first morning, and the left dust cloths in our room on 2 days. Would definitely stay here again & recommend to others.
This was our second stay at The Restoration Asheville. We stayed there the 26th and 27th of December. It is a great location and the staff is best! Elton, Ian and Jason took such good care of us as well as Neal and Seth. Such good care that we will be visiting again for our 50th anniversary in a few days. Can’t wait to be back, they make us feel special!
Stayed at The Restoration in Asheville for a weekend getaway from Atlanta and it exceeded expectations across the board. The location is ideal. We were able to walk just about everywhere downtown, which made the whole trip feel effortless. The only time we needed the car was for a day trip to Biltmore. One of the highlights was The Draftsman downstairs. It’s not just a bar, it’s an experience. Two cozy bowling lanes, skeeball, and Golden Tee made it a fun, relaxed spot to hang out at night. On top of that, having two other dining and drink options inside the hotel was incredibly convenient. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every single interaction was excellent. Valet, front desk, food and beverage team, everyone was genuinely friendly, attentive, and helpful. It felt like they actually cared about making the stay great. If you’re planning a trip to Asheville and want something central, comfortable, and a little more fun than your average hotel, this is an easy recommendation.
Great weekend trip to Ashville. This hotel was excellent . Customer service ( especially the Valet) was 10/10. Location was good for exploring. Room very comfortable and well stocked. The roof top bar and basement game room was very enjoyable after a long day of swing the city. I would highly recommend.
We loved everything about this hotel. The rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. Great bed and pillows, nice spacius bathroom. Everything is very tastefully decorated. The staff was excellent,
We had a great time staying at the restoration, the views upon the Downtown City Park and mountains were amazing. Our dog penny was greeted by dozens of people throughout the weekend which was so nice for her. Overall I cannot recommend the establishment enough. Many of the staff, from the valet and front office concierge, and bartenders/ barista or so nice! Keep up the excellent care.
Spacious and clean room with great location in the city. A lot of great food and shops within walking distance. The art and books were my favorite decorative touch. The entire staff was super polite and accommodating, they gave great recommendations for places to eat/things to do. The morning breakfast delivery every morning was nice.
The thermostat in the room was pretty outdated/difficult to work for such a nice hotel.
I had a wonderful stay at The Restoration Asheville. The location is fantastic and very walkable to restaurants and shopping. Valet service was quick and helpful, and the lobby and overall design are beautiful. The front desk staff were welcoming and knowledgeable—Derek truly went above and beyond to make the stay special. The room was comfortable and well appointed, and the bed was excellent. I did experience a minor TV issue, but the staff handled it professionally and offered solutions. The morning picnic basket breakfast and daily wine and charcuterie social hour were such thoughtful, charming touches. While the restaurant itself is lovely, the dining experience didn’t quite stand out—but this didn’t detract from an otherwise great stay. I would happily return and recommend this hotel.
We had a wonderful New Year stay here. Came for the race and felt so welcome! Glenn at the The Rise (coffee shop inside the hotel) made amazing coffee for us and was so kind. If you’re in town you should stop by!
we live on Hilton Head Island and know a great "stay and play" experience : ) the hotel is amazing. right in the middle of downtown, great shops and restaurants, etc., valet service was perfect (opened doors, and had our vehicle ready in just minutes every time we sent the text. the "draftsmen" downstairs play room is fantastic also…don't miss it!
Attention to detail seems to be missing at this property. For example the top shelf of the “closet” had tons of dust on it which then got our bags dirty when we placed them there. Our room mirror was installed poorly and was not vertical which you noticed every time you looked at it. Our room door of 406 would not latch creating a major security and safety concern we noticed on the 3rd day. We have no idea if it had been that way since we arrived. It took over 6 hours after notifying front desk to have the issue resolved with multiple follow ups with the person on duty. Once issue was resolved there was no notification or acknowledgement from management the issue had been resolved leaving us to wonder if our room was secure as we were away from the property. It was especially unsettling as there was no in room safe for our electronics which is really unacceptable for a four star hotel. We would often walk by the coffee counter where the baristas would be chatting with themselves without even making eye contact with us as guests much less saying good morning. One morning one of them was literally laying his body across the counter while he played on his phone which was very unprofessional. Yet many times after walking by the staff that looked board and careless, there would be empty cups, napkins and other trash on the tables in the lobby that guests had left behind. Just gave the impression no one really cared about keeping the lobby tidy. The valets on the other hand were very friendly, attentive, gracious at welcoming guests to the property and helping with bags and vehicles. We had reserved premium rooms but were disappointed to find they faced the rear parking garage and not the square in front of the hotel. We wish this would have been better described in the room details online. The mini bar had a great selection at very reasonable prices. Was nice that there was space in the fridge for a few personal things. Location was great with easy access to explore downtown and beyond. Room walls are lacking any insulation and so noise and conversations could easily be heard from the room next door. For a newer property, this was really disappointing and impacted our ability to get good sleep. Overall we had a nice stay, but would struggle recommending this property for future stays.
Highly recommend The Restoration. Absolutely the perfect hotel when traveling to Asheville. We will definitely be back.
The Restoration made my husband's birthday so special and Derek at the front went ABOVE and beyond to help us. They have a complementary cocktail hour, beautiful rooms and a downstairs with games and live music. We almost couldn't celebrate and the team made it happen for us. Highly recommend and will be back!
Chelcie and Emma were on point. Service smiles along with helpful guidance to the area. Our drinks and entrees were delicious. They provided exactly what you expect from a nice restaurant/ bar. Professional.
The rooms are well appointed and the beds are comfortable. My main issues were that the road noise is very loud. Because the building is old and brick there isn’t much insulation. Every loud muffler we heard. Every time the fire department close by turned on their sirens it sounded like it was in the room. We heard the old couple next to us talking as well. We heard every detail of their conversations. Their tv was cranked way up until 11:30pm both nights we were there so we had to wait to go to sleep when they did. It wasn’t their fault I just think they were old and hard of hearing. The hotel didn’t have any sleepy teas available nor were there any ear plugs in the room which would have been a nice inexpensive touch. They also had their only night life closed for a private party which I get but the lack of communication was really disappointing because we could have gone the first night we were there if we had known the bar would be closed on the second night. We ended up just hanging out in the room. I nicely offered my feedback to management to help them elevate their hotel and was slightly disappointed that they were just “sorry”. I don’t expect them to jump over the moon for my feedback but it would have been nice if they had offered something to get me to come back and try the hotel again. With them being priced about the same as the Inn at Biltmore, I will chose the Inn at Biltmore next time, because my experience there was much more enjoyable, luxurious, and peaceful.
One of the best hotels I have ever experienced. Staff is incredible - friendly, professional, graceful. The true definition of a luxury stay. Do not hesitate to book here - it's worth it!
Beautiful hotel, friendly and welcoming staff plus a few complimentary surprises that made the stay extra enjoyable.
This hotel did not disappoint! It was beautiful, clean comfortable and the staff were all very helpful and the service was impeccable. Food was great. The burger and truffle fries in the Watch Kitchen was perfect after a long day of driving. The breakfast baskets were cute and were enough to get you going in the morning. The observatory bar on the roof was beautiful and relaxing. The Dutchman bar down stairs was a great place to hang out, play some games and listen to some music. The coffee in the rooms was awesome smooth and rich. Social hour was just the right way to slow down and transition to evening activities. Enjoyed a steak in the room the last night it was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Valet was well worth it! Matt and Rick were quick and helpful getting our truck. If you have ever tried to park a big truck anywhere in Asheville you’ll understand this made the visit way less stressful. My only suggestion would be QR codes that would bring you to menus and events. My only regret is we had to venture to other places and I would have liked to just enjoy the hotel more!
My husband & I booked a weekend getaway to Asheville and we chose the perfect hotel! Restoration checked every box. Location: Right in the heart of downtown. In walking distance to all the stores. Staff: So friendly, helpful and inclusive. Whenever we asked a question, the front desk or doormen always had a smile. Hotel room: We booked the premium room. The room is so lovely, well appointed and very large! Bed was super comfortable. Super clean room as well. No carpet in the room which I love. The bathroom is huge as well. My one and only complaint is the farm door in the bathroom which doesn’t give you total privacy. You can pretty much hear everything the other person is doing in there. I wish the hotel invested in actual doors that close and provide total privacy. Amenities: Every morning you get a little breakfast basket with yogurt & a pastry that’s left outside of your door. Such a nice little touch. There’s a bar downstairs that plays live music on the weekends. The games down there are free to use. You also get 10% off at the coffee bar if you’re a guest. Loved our stay! Would recommend to anyone who asks.
This is akin to a large boutique hotel! I travel quite often but found that there were many extra special details that made it comfortable and welcoming. The choice of dining venues is excellent.
Sending a little breakfast basket is a cute idea but skip the cold egg fritata thing and replace it with a fluffy biscuit or muffin.
From check-in to check-out we had an amazing experience. Vibes galore! The rooms are also very spacious. The staff, especially Derek S., was so patient, polite, and helpful. I loved the layout of the hotel and the room. Every staff member that we encountered was very very nice. The location is great and we will definitely be back for another visit!
Highest marks in rvery catagory! One of our new favorites anywhere! Great location, inspiringly beautiful and comfy, but what sets it apart is the beyond expectations servive!!! They make it clear in every possible way that you are welcome and they want us here as guests!
We absolutely loved everything about the hotel! The room, the service, decoration , all high quality. Derek was great!
Wonderful hotel in Downtown Asheville. Staff were very friendly and the room was very nice. Lovely breakfast arrived in a basket every morning and the wine and cheese at 5pm was very nice! Mary and Layla at the front desk were super helpful and got us our room much earlier than 4pm, which we appreciated! Very nice rooftop bar as well.
Ashville is always great, but the Restoration staff and amenities were an added and pleasant surprise. From the 'Draftsman' in the basement (games and bowling) to the wine and nibbles at 5, it was a pleasurable experience. Rooms roomy and nicely decorated/appointed, beds comfortable. Even a basket in the morning with the morning's snack. Located walking distance to lots of shopping, restaurant row, music, and treats. The entire staff was friendly and professional.
This is a true 4 star hotel, with an excellent downtown location with three onsite restaurants. The WiFi was very good for business travelers. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Room was clean and the terrace was a nice touch. Pillows are down and non hypoallergenic. Ask for foam pillows if that matters to you. Room service is where they could improve on. Very clunky, not seamless like most city hotels. Unable to cast to the TVs, so be aware.
Love the atmosphere of the hotel. Rooms were lovely with very comfortable beds and linens. Staff was very attentive. Great location with everything downtown being very walkable. Shout out to Cheyanne who was our server for brunch.
We had a great stay at the Restoration during a recent trip to Asheville for a wedding. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and any more helpful. Upon check-in, Matt took care of our bags and vehicle and gave us a lot options for things to see. He made a point of asking us later if everything was okay. The Valet staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were traveling with our dog and he was welcomed by everyone. Elton had the kitchen prepare him some boiled chicken to help us maintain his diet! The Draftsman was a great place for the bridal parties’ reception having games and a good time. Whether in a group or a couple, we recommend The Restoration. Stay there, eat there and bring your dog! Thank you.
Absolutely amazing! Not only the hotel itself but the staff. They really make the whole experience! Shout out to Mary Katherine! Thank you for outstanding hospitality! Love- ML, Kat, Hope, and Ally!
We just had the most wonderful stay at The Restoration Hotel. There are lots of amenities to make the stay pleasant. The staff is friendly & accommodating. They want you to be comfortable and enjoy your time with them. Mary Katherine deserves a special shout out. She shared her love for the hotel and Asheville on a daily basis. The restaurant, the roof top, the speak easy, the coffee bar and the afternoon delight are ALL top notch The staff gets a rousing, standing ovation from us. We will be back & will make it a point to stay at The Restoration in Charleston.
We had an amazing stay! This boutique hotel has all the amenities you could want, and every staff member was exceptionally helpful—anything we needed was taken care of almost immediately. The team’s recommendations were spot-on, and the breakfast basket was a thoughtful touch. I’m particular about where I stay, and this experience was truly exceptional. I’ll definitely return and recommend this property to others.
Cheyanne in the coffee shop is amazing. Our group arrived just as she was closing. She stayed open to provide our group with coffees and drinks. She was friendly, accommodating and fabulous! Thank you!
This hotel was so nice & clean & the staff was amazing - Derek specifically was so accommodating on our check out day ! This hotel exceeded all of my expectations
Place is gorgeous. Great service. Perfect walking area to bars/restaurants/shopping. Derek was a great help with assisting check in.
Me and my Mother came to get away for a couple days. All of the staff her are wonderful. Derek at the front desk was very accommodating. All the valet guys were very helpful. They had seat warms on and waiting for us each time we got in.
Glenn was very friendly and welcoming. He makes great coffee and has cool highlighters. Would come back to see Glenn for all eternity
From the valet to the front desk to the happy hour, the staff was amazing and attentive. Great hotel and great service. 10 out of 10
Beautiful and Stylish, clean in the heart of Ashville. Mary and Derrick gave us the perfect room. Close to everything. Breakfast Picnic basket was a special touch. 💕 Mary went out of her way to make us feel welcomed and shared with us some local jam. Clean, modern and spacious. Bed is comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
We LOVE staying at Restoration every time we come to Asheville. The hotel is gorgeous, great bar, great rooftop and incredible rooms, The staff really cares to make your stay special! Highly recommend
Perfect location for our stay
My wife and I stayed at the Restoration in Ashville on November 1, 2025. We had a horrible experience. The HVAC in our room did not work properly and the front desk could care less about the issue. This was a surprise because we had stayed at their property in Charleston and had a good experience. We asked the person at the front about a bar with live music and she had no idea were the bar was after we provided the name even though we later learned that the bar was literally across the park form the hotel. The next morning, there was no coffee downstairs as promised because the person did not show at up at the coffee shop. The person at the front desk (also the front desk was not helpful at check-in about
We loved our stay at The Restoration. The hotel is perfectly located and wonderfully appointed. My five year old absolutely loved the free arcade games and bowling. Staff was amazing, especially Elton.
The room was very new and comfortable. I loved the comfortable beds. The valet staff were great. Also, continental breakfast delivered to your room every morning.
I had a very short but very wonderful stay at The Restoration, the staff truly made my experience memorable, I had arrived after a very long hard day of travel and their kindness and care made a big difference. The hotel itself was gorgeous, food and drink lovely and everything was top notch. Thanks again to the staff, Tori and Sophie in particular, who made it a great stay!
My husband and I had a lovely time at the Restoration Asheville. Great location, comfy bed and room, the breakfast delivery and treats in the room were such a nice bonus. But is was the staff that truly made the experience 5-star. We got great restaurant and cocktail recommendations, as well as hiking and biking recommendations - we got the local knowledge on where to go and what to see. A big shout-out to Matt on the Valet team as well as Lela and the entire front desk crew. We will be back.
Thsweet spot in downtown ashvillee Restoration is a cool, hip hotel in the heart of downtown Ashville. Great roof top bar with Tori serving up great drinks and offering great advice about what to do in Ashville.
Top room, great central location and helpful staff. Continental breakfast served to the room was poor.
had an awesome time, our bartender Tori was really friendly and attentive. will come back again soon! it was our first time and it left a lasting impression!
My room was very large and comfortable. The decor is simple and modern. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
Thank you Chloe and Stephen! We had a lovely time at the rooftop bar!! Beautiful views and fun drinks. Atmosphere was amazing.
So impressed with this hotel! The suite was spacious and the bed was SO comfortable. They have beautiful decor and modern rooms. They provide complimentary breakfast treats delivered to your door in the mornings. Highly recommend!
Had an amazing experience, thanks again for the wonderful help from Lily. Very helpful and informative. Will be back!!
Lily was awesome!! Helped with anything and everything we needed!! I would highly recommend to all my friends and family!!
BEWARE! This hotel is LOUD and they don’t care. They have events on the rooftop and their “quiet hours” don’t start until midnight. The bass from the rooftop reverberates throughout the room and even with a white noise app, ear plugs, and a pillow over your head, the noise and vibrations are unbearable. I spoke with the manager who refuses to even have the music turned down a notch. I asked why the hotel wouldn’t warn potential guests of a large event and he said “we don’t always know” and I said, did you know about this one and he repeated “we don’t always know.” I asked him yet again if he knew about this exact event and he said yes. They decided to still book without warning guests. Completely unacceptable. I’m not able to convey the teeth-rattling noise through this review but try to imagine the loudest possible concert and put that attached to your roof.
great place to stay
Absolutely beautiful hotel with little surprises throughout! The room was large with a section couch and well stocked mini bar. The bar was beautiful! The happy hour, the cute little breakfast basket… all so well done. And the service was impeccable. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, kind, and happy to help!
We loved the rooftop location. The food was great and craft cocktails. The bartender Jeremy was awesome! Highly recommend.
The property was very pet friendly, but it costs $75 per night. Matt, the valet, was the best for helping us out from the time we arrived through our last night there. He provided rides for us when we were drinking, gave us great restaurant recommendations, and was super friendly. Everyone on the staff worked hard to ensure our stay was amazing. This will be our first choice hotel in Asheville from now on.
Very nice hotel.
The restoration is absolutely charming, the decor is elegant and chic but the vibe is mellow and easygoing. The rooms are equally chic, and very comfortable. I absolutely loved design aesthetic of the entire hotel! The breakfast baskets left outside the room every morning was a nice touch I wasn't able to visit the rooftop (it was closed for a party) but I went up after - it's gorgeous and huge! One downside - the pub dowstairs was awful. The food was terrible, and the service was a little "edgey". I gues it was fine for drinks only, and perhaps a round of pool (and bowling). But the food was atrocious.
Great Hotel!! Our first stay.
Located in the heart of downtown Asheville, The Restoration is a fantastic boutique hotel. Wonderful staff, upscale rooms, and lots of unique touches like a breakfast basket left at your door in the AM all add to the charm and luxury of this hotel.
Hotel is centrally located in Ashville. Easy to walk to restaurants, brewery's, and shopping. The hotel has coffee shop, rooftop bar with great views and restaurants. Parking garage was conveniently behind the hotel.
The hotel was very nice and quaint. Inside the hotel offered coffee bar, restaurant and separate bar. Great locations walkable to other areas of downtown. The rooftop area was very nice place to hold an event. You have view of the downtown area. Also, the deliver cute basket breakfast to your room door every morning.
Exceptional service. Beautiful rooms. Luxurious setting. We loved our time here. The views from the observatory bars are incredible. The bar space with pool tables and other fun amenities was wonderfully decorated.
We enjoyed the terrace to sit outside for morning coffee
Beautiful facility. Great staff. Good food. But Asheville has a homeless problem and once you walk out the door, it’s there. The city needs to address this asap.
We enjoyed the spacious, light rooms, the delivery of breakfast to our doors in baskets, and the friendly, helpful staff. The in-house coffee bar is expansive and run by talented baristas. We were able to walk to all our reservations. Don't miss out on visiting the Biltmore Estate!
Excellent hotel with great amenities and tasteful decor. This was a great place to stay in downtown Asheville when we wanted to park and walk to shops, restaurants, and breweries. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Valet parking was pricey but convenient. Would definitely stay again.
Perfect downtown location with wonderful perks and excellent service. The rooms were lovely and the hotel has it all. Will come back!
My wife, daughter and I stayed here. We were blown away from all the hotel offers, and became our favorite hotel. We are planning on coming back soon.
Ok
One of the nicest places I've stayed this year! Right up there with The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee!
The staff was warm, friendly, and went out of their way to help us. We were even given a ride to a nearby restaurant they recommended. The breakfast basket was a classy touch to an already enjoyable stay.
The interior design 🫶🏼
The shower curtain and no towell hooks in the bathroom. But overall it was amazing stay!
Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well appointed. The location is mostly ideal as you can go to most downtown to shops and restaurants without needing a vehicle.
