La ubicación
Lo que no me encantó es que en la limpieza de todos los dias no te tiendan la cama, entiendo que es ligth pero la cama deberían tenderla para que el cuarto se vea limpio.
Location and staff
Lack of amenities
Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Plus a nice roof top with a view and restaurant at the hotel.
Na
Valet parking team was amazing. The location is prime...easy access to the most important attractions. The daily breakfast was absolutely incredible. Staff were courteous, respectful and paid attention to detail.
Can't say there was anything I didn't like.
It was very quiet. Great Mountain Views.
That they don’t clean rooms during stay. Their idea of refresh was pick up trash and refresh towels. I stayed for 5 nights seems like a long time to go without refreshing bedding. There was a giant metal towel tower blocking Mountain View’s.
Location and the valet parking staff.
The miscommunication regarding the breakfast package and only one person working at the restaurant. We sat for 20 minutes and got up and left. Our breakfast tickets were not given to us and when we first asked the desk clerk said they didn’t give free breakfast and then they found them in an envelope. The wouldn’t give a refund but allowed me to take two very large bottles of water. They offered two food items but who wants a bag of chips 8:30 in the morning.
The location
The friendly staff and it was nice and clean!
The rooms are tastefully designed, clean and spacious, with beautiful views.
There is no pool, breakfast, or gym, and the hotel offers very limited facilities.
Convenience and cleanliness
Our stay at the Cambria was perfect! The staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Our room was very clean and was serviced daily with fresh towels, which we really appreciated since many hotels no longer provide daily housekeeping. We also received a text each morning throughout our stay checking in to see how everything was going and whether we needed anything, which was such a nice touch and made us feel well taken care of. The view from our room was beautiful, and the location was perfect—an easy walk to downtown Asheville. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely stay here again!
Very clean, best staff, they were helpful and friendly, well worth the money.
Great location; friendly staff. I'd highly recommend the Cambria Hotel.
Excellent hotel…Friendly & professional staff from check in to breakfast the next morning. Annmarie (mgt), Anabel ( server) & Sullivan (chef) made my birthday breakfast special at Hemingway’s restaurant on the 4th floor of the hotel. I literally had the best omelette of my entire life! I met the GM (Jackie). I could immediately tell that Jackie’s professionalism & friendliness permeates her entire staff. This is a 5 star establishment without a doubt! I look forward to my next visit at The Cambria Hotel Downtown Asheville.
Love the location the 12th floor room was great see the mountains and the city
There was no TV service something to do with spectrum and they didn't tell you when checking in they had no TV service
Good location. Large, comfortable, quiet room.
Daily housekeeping needs improvment.
The location is perfect for shopping at the arcade across the street and malaprops bookstore around the corner and great restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed and the view not the mountains is spectacular. Hemmingway’s restaurant has great food and drinks with a Cuban influence and the seating on the deck has a spectacular view of the mountains and Asheville. The staff is very professional and friendly.
Staff at Cambria was awesome!. Amber, Benji, Erick, Vanessa, and Bill were the best. They went above and beyond.
The Cambria Hotel in Asheville has it all. Perfect central location, friendly staff, nice beds and walk in showers and Mountain View’s everywhere. The onsite restaurant Hemingway’s is a great spot with authentic foods and an amazing inside/outside bar lounge with multiple seating destinations and killer Mountain View’s. Great value for the price.
Everything about the Cambria Hotel in Asheville, North Carolina was fantastic! From the front desk staff to the waiters and waitresses on the fourth floor to the housekeeping … Everyone was so friendly and helpful! The complementary champagne is a really nice perk as are the breakfast vouchers! The location is prime, the atmosphere is classy and relaxing, and the rooms are very spacious and new! Most importantly the value is extremely good Looking forward to going back to the Cambria in Asheville! Kudos to all the staff who work hard to make this place very accommodating and enjoyable! Thank you! Rob and Karen Fox… Winstin Salem, North Carolina!
Everyone on the staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and a great size. The location is perfect. It’s an easy walk to all the restaurants and shops downtown. It’s also easy to access highways to go in any direction outside of Asheville. We used the valet service, which is the only way to park at the hotel. It seems like a good price. And we could go in and out as many times a day as we needed to and the car was delivered quickly. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was excellent!
We had a great experience! Loved the central location of the hotel to the yoga festival events we were going to, and the amazing restaurants, both in the hotel itself and downstairs on the corner. The one issue we had was the bathroom door was a sliding door with no latch, and it would not stay closed. Thankfully we are all good friends!
Great service-oriented attitude, clean, stylish, comfortable bed, fantastic location in downtown Asheville. Valet parking. Good Cuban cuisine restaurant with rooftop dining! We will be back and I recommend highly!
We came to Asheville from New England to visit for a few days and had an amazing time at the Cambria. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly, valet service was excellent, and to come back mid afternoon to a glass of prosecco really elevated the experience. Walking distance to so many shops and breweries was a highlight. Excellent stay. Would highly recommend!
The location is excellent. It's within steps of shops and restaurants. The hotel staff was top notch. A shout out to front desk team member, Jenna who was always cheerful and welcoming. We arrived early, was able to check into our room, and was given complimentary glasses of champagne. We had an issue with the mattress in our room and it was taken care of while we were exploring Ashville. At check out, we were given a bag of Ashville popcorn. We would definitely return. Thank you Cambria.
Lots of stores and eateries
No pool Rooftop closed too early
We had a wonderful stay at The Cambria Hotel. It is in an excellent location in downtown Asheville. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There is a very good rooftop restaurant/bar on the fourth floor. Excellent cocktails and spectacular view of the mountains. Every one is friendly, accommodating, and professional, especially Lindsay and Jackie. Highly recommend The Cambria Hotel.
This was our first time staying at a Cambria hotel. We are frequent visitors to Asheville for weekend trips or day trips. We really enjoyed this hotel. We loved the downtown location near Grove Arcade and the civic center, where we were attending the annual Southern Highlands Guild Craft Fair. We didn’t use our car all weekend and were able to easily walk within a few blocks of the hotel for all our eating and entertainment. The bed was quite comfortable with high quality linens and the shower was good, The mountain view from our 10th floor room was lovely. The hotel was very clean. There was a good fitness room. The staff was attentive and friendly. This slightly upscale, business-level hotel competes with Courtyard Marriott and Hilton Garden Inn, and may do a thing or or two beyond, like offering champagne upon arrival. Also as a Choice Hotels rewards member, we were given a welcome bag of a couple small bottles of water and granola bars. Downtown parking costs extra at most all the Asheville hotels, and this one required valet parking given their situation. We didn’t mind this. There was a Cuban restaurant and bar on site with amazing views of the mountains, sunset, and city. It had live music at various times. We didn’t try it this visit but saw it being well used by guests and the public. We forgot a couple toiletries and the hotel gave us sample-size replacements to get us through our stay. The room surfaces were fairly hard (industrial-leaning), and I was worried about sound issues. We could hear people clearly if they were talking in the hall but surprisingly didn’t hear noise from other rooms. Noise did not interfere with our sleep or rest. The fake brick wall (wallpaper) that was an effort to make the room feel boutique-like, was a little odd, but the room was otherwise well-furnished. The towel hooks, which could also be used for jackets, were outside the bathroom in the entry area.; there were no hooks in the bathroom. The closet and drawers were adequate though I would’ve preferred closed rather than open-design drawers. We used the mini- frig and the Keurig but not the microwave. We didn’t use housekeeping so can’t comment on that. The price point was a decent value for downtown during peak summer season. We would stay here again.
Perfect Asheville hotel experience, perfectly located and pleasantly comfortable. I’d like to say the staff are absolutely charming.
La localización
Puerta a la terraza trabada, solo admite valet parking y así no tienes la comodidad de entrar y salir con tu auto cuantas veces quieras. Te sale muy caro.
Our State government agency moved our leadership meeting to this beautiful hotel two years ago. The rooms are gorgeous with all modern furnishings and quiet rooms views of beautiful downtown Asheville. There are literally dozens of wonderful restaurants within an easy walking distance of the hotel, some just across the street. Cambria hotel is very accommodating to business meetings with valet parking and a great front desk. I cut myself shaving, went down to the front desk and readily had antiseptic and a Band-Aid at the ready Last year, I brought my wife along this for this trip and she loved it. Andshe’s hard to please. For us, there’s no other place. We would stay for date. This is where to go to jumpin Asheville than Cambria.
במרכז העיר, במרחק הליכה קצר ממסעדות, גלריות, חנויות ועוד. הצוות אדיב ונעים, החדר נקי ונוח ומרווח.
This hotel was clean, staff friendly and beds comfortable. The breakfast at the Havana restaurant was very good. The bonus is that across the street from the hotel are a row of restaurants that had excellent food. Excellent location right in the heart of downtown Asheville.
Location, large room, clean
Nothing
Everything was great and the staff was fabulous! Front desk, valet, restaurant were all perfect!
This place was a perfect location park your car once and walk everywhere. Cost 22.00 to park but it was worth it. The room was clean and was not missing anything. The staff was nice .
The location is perfect
The light room service. The quality of shampoo and creams is not good, the fact that they only have valet
Fantastic location, wonderful room and great service!
We love the Cambria’s! Beautiful hotel- clean rooms and friendly service. Our only complaint was we were told the bar was open until 10 ( even says so on the website) and when we arrived at 8:50 pm we were rudely told by the bartender that they had already given last call. When we tried to explain what we were told he stated “oh well- we are closed”. Bummer that we didn’t get to enjoy a night cap to watch the sunset from their viewing deck.
This was our second time staying here and it was just as wonderful as the first. The facilities are wonderful, the staff is exceptional, and the location is just perfect!
There is nothing to say here, top notch stay in Asheville!
Der Blick auf die Blue Ridge Mountains
Size and cleanliness of room and property. Bed was very comfortable.
Location, large rooms, cleanliness and service. Rooftop bar a plus!
Cambria Hotel – Overall Stay Review Areas for Improvement * One of the most inconvenient hotel stays I’ve experienced. * No outdoor seating unless the restaurant is open. * The only outdoor seating option is not actually part of the hotel property. * It is located across the street at a separate restaurant area. * No pool area or dedicated space on-site to relax outdoors. * No easy access to cold drinking water. * No complimentary lobby water station like most hotels. * Water is only reliably available on the 4th floor when the restaurant is open. * Ice is limited—available only via the ice machine or in-room bucket. * In some cases, you may need to ask the bartender, who is not always available. * Office desk in the room has no conveniently located electrical outlets or USB charging ports. * Had to stretch a power cord across the room just to charge devices while working. * USB charging ports near the bed did not work. * Bluetooth bathroom mirror is a nice feature, but the pairing process appears to lack security. * Potential privacy concerns with nearby room connectivity. * Privacy sign falls off the door every time it’s opened. * Key card required to access floors above the fifth floor. * Good for security, but inconvenient when carrying items like food, coffee, luggage, or business materials. * Room trash cans are extremely small and don’t have liners. * Bathroom has no hooks for hanging face towels or washcloths. * No ice scoop or tongs provided for the in-room ice bucket, making it inconvenient and less sanitary. * Towels were rough and abrasive. * Coffee setup is not very convenient. * Lobby coffee is K-cup style rather than a full coffee station. * In-room coffee is also K-cup based. * Iron and ironing board setup for business travelers was not convenient or consistently available/accessible. Positive Highlights * Free daily breakfast was included due to a business trip arrangement. * Not a typical buffet or continental style. * Real hot plated meals served by waitstaff, which is a strong positive. * Restaurant service was very good, with consistently friendly and attentive staff. * Gym was well-equipped with machines, weights, and a quality scale. * Fourth-floor restaurant outdoor deck has a great view. * Hotel is very conveniently located downtown within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and attractions. * Mountain views from rooms are a strong plus, especially on the west or southwest side. * Rooms include a microwave, mini fridge, and in-room ironing setup, which are helpful and appreciated for business travel. Overall * Strong positives: staff friendliness, location, gym, breakfast quality, and in-room conveniences. * However, several practical business-travel conveniences (power access, water access, coffee setup, and lack of true on-site relaxation spaces like a pool area) detracted from overall comfort and efficiency of the stay.
The staff was friendly and accommodating and room was clean and spacious. The valet parking was extremely convenient. The location was excellent and it was very nice to receive a gift when we arrived with water and snacks.
The bathroom sink drained very slowly and when the plug was engaged did not hold water. We informed staff upon checkout. I reserved a king size bed but we got a room with 2 queens which would have been ok but one of the beds had a fitted sheet that the fabric was very pilled. The other bed sheets were fine, so we didn’t make a big deal.
The location was perfect, i was able to meet my friends in downtown and everything was in walking distance. The staff members were so friendly and helpful. I enjoyed sitting on the rooftop at Hemingway's to watch the sunset.
i was looking forward to room service but this wasn't offered at this hotel. i also would have liked it if we could have food delivered straight to our door and not have to go to the lobby to get it.
Very nice and modern hotel in downtown. Staff was very friendly and professional. Rooms were clean and comfortable & liked the wood flooring better than carpet. Very walkable area.
I normally prefer a hotel that offers a complimentary breakfast which this hotel has a restaurant but you do have to pay for meals.
The view of the mountains was beautiful, but the view of the rooftop parking was not so great. Location was excellent. loved the fact that there were so many restaurants within walking distance.
Lobby could have been nicer.
I love this hotel. It is such a great location. Several great restaurants are right across the street and a complete indoor outdoor shopping mall. Within five blocks each way of the hotel there lots of unique and artsy shopping experiences. Galleries, museums, funky stores and very upscale stores as well. There is also the Harrahs Cherokee Center that is literally a block away in case you want to go to a show. We saw Brandi Carlile there and could easily walk right back to the hotel afterwards. It was the perfect trip and the staff was fantastic. Everything about it was top notch. Highly recommended.
What a wonderful hotel!! I travel a lot and this hit all the marks. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and common areas were very clean. The on site restaurant was delicious. Great views from the room and restaurant. Walkable area. Highly recommend 10/10, no notes
Location to restaurants and shops
No pool, Hemming ways closed because of ceiling leak
Location, clean, and large rooms
The walls were thin. You could hear voices from the halls and seemingly other rooms.
I made my reservation in February for 3 nights, not realizing at check in that they only gave me 2 nights so I had to leave in the middle of the conference I was attending. I later spoke to management and was told this was their error. I'm not sure what good making a reservation on their website does when they don't honor them.
Very nice property and the employees in the hotel and valet area were wonderful. I loved the location.
I don’t think the vouchers we had for meals were really worth anything. The breakfast was pretty delayed and we had to wait quite a while for it to even get started and it was mediocre. And then the second morning there was no breakfast at all, allegedly due to some mechanical failure. But other than the restaurant, everything was truly wonderful and I would definitely stay there again. I just wouldn’t count on eating there.
Stayed at the Cambria for 2 nights while attending a conference. Rooms were clean and so comfortable! Staff was friendly and service was excellent.
Great service, perfect location for seeing a show at the Cherokee and visiting shops and restaurants, beautiful view of the mountains from our room. Would definitely stay here again!
The room design, to the towels, and even the bathroom body soap . This was the best overnight stay I ever had !! Also great proximity to downtown !!
Location was perfect the staff was very friendly. Fast ck in. Valet were fast & friendly. The room was clean and fresh. The bathroom was very clean. Water pressure was great! I love a good shower.
This hotel and stay are slices of heaven. The location and convenience of having food and shops in walking distance is a wonderful aspect.
Wonderful location, rooms were very nice and overall atmosphere was great!!
No breakfast. Location excellent.
Hotel was beautiful and in the perfect location. Much more upscale than we were expecting.
This hotel is excellent!! It is beautiful, it is safe, it is extremely clean and the staff is friendly and very accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel. One of the best in Asheville. I will absolutely stay there again!
Beautiful views and great location next to lots of restaurants and shops!
It seemed like there was low water pressure in the bathrooms. Otherwise, no complaints.
Great location and great price!
Great location and central to everything!
Nothing it was better than expected!
Everything!! They let me check in early!! Everyone was super nice and very professional!!
I'm a tour director throughout the USA and Canada. The service our group of 28 travelers received at the Cambria was the best we have received anywhere ever in my 10 year career. Fantastic service, lovely rooms. Great location.
We were with a tour group and stayed here for two nights. The location is fine for touring. We had a spacious room and we ordered breakfast from a menu. Our other hotels had buffets.
Right downtown in Asheville walking distance to many venues and we felt safe. Valet parking $25 per night I think, but I have paid much more at other city hotels, the room was spacious and modern - all in all really liked it. The staff was wonderful.
no tv access
A surprising gem in downtown Asheville! Service was great and the rooms were amazing!
Comfort clean convenience
Need a bigger trash can with trash bags in the room. Tiny boxes with no trash bags didnt fit any trash. This is the only thing needed.
I like the bread very much.
Coffee
The view from the room was beautiful.
All was great
This hotel is perfect if you want to be close to everything in downtown Asheville… Not the outskirts of Asheville, but the downtown area with all of its restaurants shops , coffee shops, bars, etc.,etc. First of all I want to say I planned my trip through a second party booking company about six months ahead of time. In the meantime my plans changed twice and I had to change the dates of my reservation at the hotel. The hotel was very accommodating and did not give me any grief about changing the dates and since I was in the window which was only 24 hours of date changes I was not penalized at all. I personally called the front desk from home and they were always very very nice. When I checked into the hotel I was greeted with a glass of champagne and two very nice front desk staff. My room was absolutely fabulous it was on the 10th floor and I had a corner premium king room and it had almost views to die for of the beautiful mountains surrounding Asheville. The bed was very comfortable ,the amenities were great… the one and only thing I did not like is the fact that they had no clock anywhere in the room, but then again I'm part of the older generation and I'm used to looking at a clock not at my phone all the time to see what time it is. When I checked out I was given a parting gift! I mean, who does that?? If you're going to Asheville and want to be where the action is and I'm not talking about loud action I just mean where you can walk around the town and enjoy the atmosphere, do yourself a favor and stay at the Cambria Hotel.
Great location
Nothing
Great location, restaurant, valet parking
Air conditioned hallways were too cold. Recommend adding a label on the elevator panel with the floor of the restaurant and exercise room.
Great location in DT Asheville. Nice, clean and comfortable. Staff were terrific. Recommend!
Everything was good.
Great location and staff
Air conditioner was loud
Hotel staff at front desk upon checking in was great, valet parking was great. We left for day and ask for towels while we were gone, when we got back there was 1 set of towels left in the room for 2 people. When I called front desk she said she would get us some but did not when it would be. Finally got towels and left for dinner. When we arrived back it was raining in our room and rained in it all night. We were on the 12th floor. When checking out the next morning, told the front desk clerk about the issue and showed her pictures and she could not have cared less. Never offered to compensate us in anyway, no apology, nothing. Pretty much acted like it could not be true. For these reasons I would not recommend staying here
Location and comfort of the bed/pillows. Space on room
No small top in refrigerator for freezer to put in small freezer bags for insulin. Lighting above sink was not bright or needed one above mirror. Heating/air unit rattled. Towel racks away from commode to hang wet towels.
Great location. Great views. Convenient location to shops and restaurants.
Etablissement confortable et récent. Séjour très agréable, bon petit-déjeuner.
Rien.
Absolutely fantastic hotel experience. From the complimentary glass of champagne at check in, to the wonderful staff. We had a beautiful, clean, upper floor corner room with an incredible view. Great location in downtown Asheville too. Highly recommend!
The king room was very nice and spacious. The breakfast was delicious. We liked the security system for elevator access to your floor only. The valet service was efficient and easy to use. Would use this hotel again.
The staff was very friendly and professional, especially the front desk clerks, restaurant servers and valets. Perfect location, walkable to many places we enjoy. We will definitely come back. And the champagne at check in was a nice touch.
Next time we will get a suite, other than that zero complaints.
We really enjoyed our two night stay at the Cambria. It has a perfect downtown location and walking to local museums, restaurants and shops is a breeze. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We had a great view from the 9th floor. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The only surprise was a $22 per night valet parking fee. There is no self parking option at the hotel. That being what it is, our car was always retrieved very quickly with friendly service from the valet. Great hotel. Would stay again!
Checking in was a breeze, the valet process was smooth, and the complimentary champagne was the cherry on top. Staff was friendly and helpful. A well kept hotel.
Great location in the center of downtown. Clean and modern. Room had a nice view.
Maverick and Emily as well as the garage attendants were fantastic! Made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Super helpful with details about the hotel and our surroundings. Gave us great suggestions that turned out to be wonderful. We really appreciated the kindness and genuine caring we received. A+ staff. Thank you very much Kindly Jose and Denise NH
