Nice Place to stay. I liked the modern and comfortable rooms. The Massage in the Spa was high quality with Midith. The Rooftop Pool is big and good for swimming. They offer Brunch, lunch and Dinner.

Wonderfully decorated, helpful, caring staff, rooms and facilities to a very high standard.

When ordering at the rooftop bar, they had no Campari or Aperol, and when we ordered French fried they arrived barely warm.

Location was amazing, the views from the room were great, paired with a storm over the ocean. The rooftop bar and pool were great. All around, it was an amazing stay, the hotel room was clean, beds were comfy, staff was very accommodating and answered all our questions, I think we've found our permanent Colombo stay!

Literally everything. From the check in to check out, everything was amazing.

The location is good. It well placed in the heart of the city for easy access to major sightseeing areas.

The staff professionalism. They just don’t seem to care and had an excuse for everything that went wrong.

Hotel très luxueux , Chambre tout confort, très bonne literie, le coin salle de bain baignoire est magnifique! La chambre avec vue sur la mer est spacieuse. La piscine sur le toit est superbe, un peu froide à mon gout mais très jolie vue ! petit déjeuné très copieux. Le restaurant japonais est excellent !

The hotel itself is beautiful and has a great view, and the breakfast was okay. However, I was very disappointed with the attitude of the staff and the overall service. I paid for my stay in US dollars, but they gave me the change in Sri Lankan rupees using an unfavorable exchange rate, which meant I received less than I should have. What bothered me most was the check-in experience. My flight arrived early, so I reached the hotel well before the standard check-in time. I completely understand that early check-in depends on availability and may require an additional fee. However, they made me wait until 12:00, and only then told me that the room was actually ready but that I would have to pay extra to check in early. If an early check-in fee was required, they could simply have told me this from the beginning instead of making me wait for hours. Standard check-in was at 2:00 PM anyway. After I insisted and explained how unreasonable this was, they eventually gave me the room, acting as though they were doing me a special favor. Overall, although the hotel and the view are nice, I felt that the service was overly focused on charging guests extra whenever possible. Unfortunately, this left a very negative impression and I would not choose to stay here again.

Everything you need is right there - the gym is solid, the breakfast is delicious and the view from the room and the pool area is breath taking. Very charging and Lovely staff! Would come again.

This is a lovely property with beauty and character, and I found their rates to be competitive. I ended up staying here twice in a room that overlooked the ocean, and even enjoyed a wonderful pre-flight massage before my 1am international flight home. Highly recommend!

At times, the registration lines were pretty long, but I think that's expected at any hotel.

Rooms and the beds It’s so overhyped on social media. Definitely not the best.

The facilities are amazing. It has 2 hot tubs, a rooftop pool, a sauna and one of the best hotel gym’s I have used. The rooms are clean and nice.

The service could be improved: - check in was very slow. - when we arrived in the room, the TV was broken. A maintenance man was sent up who said he would fit a new tv in the morning (after we checked out) but no solution was offered for the interim. - on the day of our checkout, the Colombo marathon was taking place meaning the road to the hotel was shut. This is itself of course not a problem, however I would have expected the hotel to warn us of this. When we called to ask whether the road would be open in time for our drive to the airport or whether we needed to make alternative arrangements, the receptionist didn’t know. I would expect the hotel staff to have knowledge of this sort of thing or alternative plans.

Fabulous rooms with double height windows facing the sea fitted with an excellent bathroom. We were also able to enjoy the fitness centre that was very well equipped. The breakfast was quite good and the rooftop bar was great for a few drinks and some bites after a big day out. The airport transfer they organised for us was also great- had a good driver with a very comfortable people mover. All up, excellent value for money.

While the rooftop infinity pool is beautiful facing the ocean, there were a grand total of 4 wooden sun loungers which meant lots of guests were left without any option to lounge around. The sun loungers didn't have cushions either, just a hard wood back- pretty disappointing considering everything else was excellent.

Just the View

From the start to the end everything was dissapointing - Firstly the Key Card Scanner which has to be attached to the door came out the moment we stepped in, then started real problems - TV not working, Commode Bidet’s which were Japanese style were not working, Power Outages, Long wait time for the elevators, No AC, misguidance regarding currency exchange due to which we had to walk 6kms in search of good places as we were promised to get them exchanged at the hotel itself.

Great hotel with friendly staff and excellent service. The highlight of our stay was definitely the buffet — both breakfast and dinner offered a wonderful variety of absolutely delicious food. The room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Great that we got upgraded - lovely cool room and they made a fuss of us for our honeymoon. Great facilities. Spa was lovely with great views - enjoyed a fab massage. Bar on the top floor had brilliant vibes - one particularly memorable bar tender, with great personality. So many food options on site and great cocktails too.

Very little! The lifts take a while covering the 27 floors which causes a wait sometimes, but it is a minor detail. Location is okay - explored somewhat on foot but not necessarily always the nicest walking routes.

Clean, modern rooms with good air con and nice views. Facilities were good, including an excellent swimming pool and gym. Location is good for getting around Colombo (tuk tuk - you would not want to walk). The price was fair.

Lifts were too slow/small for a busy hotel. We were left waiting a long time just to move about the hotel, which is narrow and tall and requires the lift to get anywhere. Room service was very slow, taking over an hour to bring 2 simple dishes with the staff giving misleading times. We could not get fresh towels for love nor money - they were not drying in the room so we were stuck with wet towels for days - despite asking reception for replacements, they never arrived and I had to accost a cleaner who was helpful in the end.

The views , location and the layout of the room ... especially with the bath tub facing the sea.

Waiters were clearing our plates before we could finish the breakfast or if we briefly stepped away to pick up a glass of juice. I found this to be unprofessional, irritating and rude.

Nous avions demandé une chambre à un étage élevé et nous ne l'avons pas eue. Nous étions au 7è étage. Je pense que nous aurions un peu moins entendu le train et la circulation en étant plus haut. La salle du petit-déjeuner est trop petite par rapport au nombre de clients. Beaucoup de monde, beaucoup de bruit.

would give a 10, but the room service food and bar food was below average . breakfast offering basic too. Location is central to many main locations however prob more so a tuktuk ride away or taxi

Pool und Bar auf dem rooftop waren phänomenal - ebenso das Personal dort. Das japanische Restaurant ist sehr lecker aber zu teuer im Vergleich. Zimmer waren sehr schön und immer sauber.

Die Aufzüge brauchen teilweise mehrere Minuten, bis man einsteigen kann.

The hotel is right on the coast opposite the Kollupitiya railway station so it was nice to hear the trains and listen to the sea. The horizon pool was fabulous as was our room with a view over the ocean, even from the bathroom.

The cleverly disguised 30% tax was a bit of a surprise, but even so it was great value in a big city.

Das Frühstück war verhältnismäßig etwas teuer. Der Aufzug hat immer relativ lange gebraucht, obwohl es vier Stück gab. (Meckern auf hohem Niveau)

Late check in - we were only able to get to the room at 4 pm even if check in was 2 pm We got a room with very bad smell from the bathroom and a view on a construction. The hotel never replied to our messages before check in Not enough space around the swimmimg pool to sit or leave the clothes

What I liked most about the property was the beautiful view and the calm, peaceful atmosphere. The location was also very convenient, as everything was easy to access from the property. Overall, it was a comfortable and relaxing stay.
