Poor welcome..only place in 18 days that did not have a welcome drink and introduction to the hotel.

Todo. Solo pasamos una noche antes de coger nuestro vuelo de vuelta por lo que la piscina y gimnasio no la probamos pero la habitación genial,grande, limpia moderna y la cama comodisima. Muy buenas vistas a la ciudad y el mar y en buen barrio. Bien ubicado

We stayed at Sofia Hotel Colombo just for the last night of our trip in Sri Lanka - a perfect end rounding up our travel experience! Our stay could not have been better! The rooms are amazing and super clean. The food offered on the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner was absolutely outstanding and the staff, especially Rizuan and Janani, but everyone really, was extremly lovely, attentive and helpful! The rooftop pool area is incredible ad the facilities like the gym, are a great plus too. We were allowed for late check out without any issues so we were able to enjoy our last day in Sri Lanka to the fullest! Thank you and we would definitely love to come back!

Room was small but very comfortable

Trainee staff member at check in quoted us usd$30 for late checkout, however when we checked in the morning this was apparently incorrect & wanted to charge us 2.5 times that. We left at got Hotel at Airport for less than the revised late checkout fee. Food was very average & at dinner constantly interrupted by staff to the extent we escaped back to room.

It was as advertised- clean and quite spacious room with all needed facilities. The breakfast buffet was also very good - I felt it was better than other hotels. Shoutout to Dilip for the excellent room cleanliness and hospitality

On arrival the sink was not working, the plug hole was wedged shut making it unusable. I went to reception to have it addressed and was assured it would be. On our return it was still unusable so I sorted it myself. As we had an early morning flight I asked if there were any provisions for an early breakfast. I was told I could have a sandwich arranged. However, on check our there were plenty of people having breakfast.

This was our second consecutive year staying at Sofia Hotel, and once again, we had such a wonderful experience. The warm hospitality, attentive service, and genuine care from the team are exactly what keep bringing us back every year. A very special thank you to Dinithi from front office, who truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was ready for our arrival. From ensuring our room was prepared to arranging such a beautiful room for our stay, Dinithi made us feel incredibly welcomed and helped make our visit even more special. We truly appreciate you and your kindness! Our sincere thanks also go to Kavisha and Minura from the Front Office, for their kindness, attentiveness, and assistance throughout our stay. We would also like to extend our appreciation to Nilanka, the Front Office Manager, for helping us schedule late check out in time with our flight. We would also like to give our heartfelt appreciation to the Housekeeping team, Dinusha, the Housekeeping Supervisor, especially Dunal and Vimukthi, for taking such great care of our room and ensuring that everything was well maintained throughout our two-week stay. Your hard work often happens behind the scenes, but it certainly made a big difference to our overall experience. Thank you for your dedication and attention to detail. Another highlight of this visit was the buffet. We were genuinely impressed by the variety and quality of the food this time around. The spread was delicious, and we could really see the improvements that have been made to the buffet service since our previous visit. We truly enjoyed our meals and were very happy to see how much the experience has grown. Overall, thank you to the entire Sofia Hotel team for making our two-week stay so cheerful, comfortable, and memorable. It is the wonderful hospitality and the people who take such genuine care of their guests that make us want to return.

クレジットカード決済の際、何度もエラーが出ました。複数枚のカードを何度も試しましたが、結果的にはカードではなくホテル側の決済端末の問題でした。 何度も決済を試す前に、もう少し早い段階でホテル側の端末に問題がある可能性も考えてほしかったです。 こちらから端末の問題ではないかと指摘しなければ、そのまま現金での支払いを求められていたのではないかと思います。 今後同じようなことが起きた際には、カードだけでなくホテル側の決済端末の不具合も確認するよう、スタッフの対応フローに入れていただけると安心です。

La cama muy incómoda, parecería rota en medio porque me hundía. Y el área de la piscina estaba en reparación.

Room was very modern, clean, and comfortable. Views from the room and lobby/bar are great. Staff is really kind and helpful.

No mention of the rooftop being under construction. The pool was open, but not exactly the ambience I was hoping for.
