Nobody cares to provide basic amenities such as a bottle of water, toiletries and it doesn't even have the option to get a cup of tea if you are tired from your journey to the hotel.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026Grand Stay Hotel is located right in the middle of Trichy town, making it very convenient for shopping and finding places to eat. It offers good value for money, especially if you’re looking for budget accommodation. The hotel is a little dated, and the overall décor could use some updating. If I stay here again, I would probably bring my own bedsheets, toilet paper and towels. One important thing to note is that there is no direct car access to the hotel. From the main road, you need to carry your luggage for around 50 metres, and even to reach the ground floor there are about 10 steps to climb, so it may not be ideal for guests with heavy luggage or mobility difficulties. There was also very little interaction with the staff during our stay. Overall, it’s a basic, budget-friendly hotel in a very convenient central location, and the price makes it reasonable for a short stay.

No approach to the so called hotel. It is a shack. No place for parking. Wash rooms never cleaned absolute disaster. No house keeping staff. I do not know why booking.com accepted to list this place. Photos look ok but when one visits in person this is total disaster. Recommend removing this.

So many. Arrogant reply of night receptionist when i enquire night, unclean bed. No light in the bathroom(room 201 i guess). I was asked to use a mobile light. Urine smell bath bathroom. Not at all cleaned.. Over all horrible. No worry located at center place and crowd will come and suffer like me 🙏🙏🙏🙏

You have to walk 200 mtrs to get into auto or taxi. Bcoz hotel is in a '"moothra sandhu'". I spent 3 nights there, without light in restroom. Bulb fused. I managed with candles & cell phone torch.

Reviewed May 30, 2026Room was very comfortable and clean. All facilities available and price also less. Very close from chathiram bus stand (5 min walk to hotel). Kalyan jewellers ( near chathiram bus stand) is the correct land mark. Nearby I went to Padma (saivam) hotel for breakfast and lunch. Food taste also nice. Juices and coffee, tea are super! I visted to hotel along with family. All are happy with the stay at The hotel Grand stay.
