Stanza poco luminosa, sciacquone del bagno non funzionante, stanza difficile da trovare perché di notte poco luminosa e poco segnalato i numeri, zona della colazione e la spiaggia piena di mosquitos che non ti permettevano di rilassarti

Tramonto (anche se è comunque ben visibile dalle spiagge libere, bar e strutture alberghiere limitrofi)

- CAMERA: eccessiva presenza di ZANZARE nel bagno situato all’esterno e quindi alcune inevitabilmente entravano in camera, RUMORE notturno vista l’estrema vicinanza alla strada esterna, VISIBILITÀ ASSENTE negli orari serali vista la minima illuminazione presente - ROOM service: ho dovuto chiedere di pulire la camera per il 2º giorno del mio pernottamento, non sono stati riempiti nè i dispenser del bagnoschiuma e neanche le bottiglie d’acqua che erano comprese nel pernottamento - COLAZIONE: limitata e medesima scelta per entrambe le mattine - MOSCHE presenti in elevata quantità sia a colazione che sui lettini della spiaggia, che rendevano quindi non piacevole la permanenza - ASSENZA della palestra - la probabile disinfestazione antizanzare (FUMO INVADENTE IL BAGNO ESTERNO E LA CAMERA) non ci è stata comunicata ed è avvenuta durante il tardo pomeriggio mentre mi preparavo per uscire a cena - l’hotel è situato nella zona della spiaggia con l’acqua meno cristallina - costo di cena e soprattutto dei cocktail sopra la media

L’établissement est très joli en apparence et bénéficie d’un cadre agréable, mais malheureusement, il est loin d’être pratique au quotidien. Les toilettes et les douches étant situées à l’extérieur, cela devient particulièrement contraignant, surtout lorsque nous sommes en période humide. De plus, les nombreux moustiques rendent les déplacements à l’extérieur vraiment désagréables et viennent malheureusement gâcher une partie de l’expérience. Je trouve également que les tarifs sont particulièrement élevés au regard du confort et des prestations proposées. Pour ce niveau de prix, on s’attendrait à davantage de confort et de praticité. En résumé : un très bel établissement visuellement, mais l’expérience pourrait être nettement améliorée sur le plan du confort et des équipements.

Me encantó!!! Todo superó mis expectativas. La habitación era increíble, el personal muy amable, la comida también increíble. Hicimos actividades del hotel y nos encantó también.

Employees were all very friendly and welcoming. The treehouse was disappointing. The whole room smelt disgusting like poop everytime we flushed the toilet - even though we were just peeing... The Bathroom is very narrow and small, making me wonder how this can be really cleandes. It also does not have windows, instead it has a insect net instead of a window and wall. This made the room very tropical hot and moist and the noise level higher, so you were able to hear the ocean waves, birds as well as other couples moaning... Towels and the bathrobe were dirty with stains on them. Also I did not dare to use the linen napkins at the restaurant since they looked worn down. The cushion on the rooftop is infested with black mold since it’s unprotected and constantly gets rained on. So we didn’t spend much time on the Rooftop even though we initially booked the beachfront treehouse just for that. The wooden walls of the room were dusty. And the room was missing a seat or something to put your stuff, so instead we had to put everything on the floor... For this price it almost felt like a scam. It was like overpriced camping. I hate camping. Never had a room that expensive and that filthy. It had more like camping vibes. We tried to tell ourselves that the price is just for the location and beach view to justify spending THAT much on such a disgusting room. I‘m very bummed that we spend so much money on my birthday trip for this hotel. The overall vibe and activities of the hotel were great but the condition of the room was disappointing. Also we kind of expected to get a small surprise on the morning of my birthday (which has been acknowledged at check-in) - especially since another customer did get a cake at breakfast on the morning of my birthday. But nothing…which was unusual for Mexican culture. We definitely won’t book a room here again and are seriously surprised on why Michelin chose to feature this hotel regarding the poor quality of the room… The beachfront location and design of the hotel are beautiful though, if you overlook the quality of the room. The massages were really expensive, but good. But its like double the price of massages in 5 Star hotels in Germany... Also the employees were the best part of the hotel. And paddle boards and bikes were included. (Although the "chain" of the bike kept jumping out and we had to fix it several times.

We had a lovely time relaxing by the beach, seeing some local wildlife and having a little swim and some yoga. The food was also excellent, and the service was perfect.

I can't believe im about to say this about a place that doesn't sell Coca cola, but what an incredible hotel! I'm dying to go back and stay in the beachfront rooms the nex time.The beach was amazing, the outdoor shower was spectacular, the beds were so comfy, and the food was delicious. I don't have a single complaint, except for the Coke thing which ok, I get the wellness thing and all. The variety of complimentary classes they offer is incredible, I can't wait to go back and try them all. The included breakfast was also toptier with the daily shot. Huge thanks to Dana, Naomi, Dani, Victor, Francisco, Naom with his delicious passion fruit spicy margarita, and Angus and the rest of the team for being so welcoming, friendly and attentive. Staff definitely made our stay even better. Hope to be back soon!

We had the most amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was absolutely perfect – the beautiful atmosphere, the clean and comfortable rooms, the delicious food, and the incredible service. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. A very special thank you to Dana, who truly made our experience unforgettable. Absolutely stunning—this place gets everything right. From the warm and welcoming front desk team to the attentive and genuinely charming hospitality staff, every interaction felt thoughtful and sincere. The location is ideal, tucked slightly away from the busier centre, offering a peaceful, sheltered feel while still being perfectly positioned. The beach is beautiful, and watching pelicans glide low over the water adds something really special to the experience. The atmosphere throughout is relaxed and inviting, and the rooms are exceptional. We stayed in one of the tents with an outdoor bathroom, which made the whole stay feel unique and memorable. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and offered great value for the quality. It is wonderfully quiet overall—apart from the occasional nighttime visit from a curious raccoon climbing around the tents and treehouses, which honestly just added to the charm. There is plenty to enjoy on-site too, including a yoga tent and a spa, making it easy to fully unwind. A truly delightful stay from start to finish.

Nomade lives up to the hype, it really does. It sits on the quiet western tip of the island, pretty far from the main city, which gives it a feeling of seclusion you rarely find these days. The design is the star, boho meets mediterranean meets mexican, all natural textures and warm lighting. The beach is honestly one of the best we’ve been to, daybeds right in the sand and a pool steps from the ocean. Sunsets from the property were amazing. Rooms are beautiful and very private, staff are warm and relaxed, always happy to help with bookings or tours without being pushy. Breakfast is straight forward but very good, and the restaurant was great. A highlight of our trip for sure.

Incredible experience at the Nomade for a girls' getaway. It feels like you are living in your very own tropical jungle. The daily included breakfast at La Popular was a huge highlight - served till 1130 for us late sleepers, and we tried something new every day. Francisco was our server, and he remembered all of our names daily without prompting! The staff there was amazing and always willing to go above and beyond to help in all areas. I had a moon temple tent, and it was beautiful, rustic (outdoor bathroom, occasional dead mice), but still felt safe and protected. However, it was very dimly lit at night, so a flashlight was very useful! The solititude was perfect - all I heard were birds chirping, and the sound of the ocean lulled me to sleep every night. Unfortunately, mosquitoes did get inside, and my last few days I was being eaten alive inside my room. I kept the door closed at all times, and they do have screens, but I wonder if the housekeeping left the bathroom door open while cleaning? Just a thought. My friend had a treehouse, and I'd probably go for one of those next time just to be high up and avoid the mosquitoes. We tried many of the classes, which were fantastic. I never got to do the beach Yoga because it was too early, but I tried Pilates, breathwork and Gratitude for the ocean, I loved all of them. One issue- pools are not heated, which was a real downer, especially for the Aqua Magica class which is supposed to mimic the womb. If they could heat at least one of the two pools and even make one of them HOT it would be the cherry on top of a magical place worth every penny.

This is not a luxury experience although it is pretty. Not enough towels, Luke warm shower water, loud ATVs on the island, freezing cold pools.

Our experience was world class. We were most impressed by the level of care the staff the showed us. Everyone was warm, kind, and extremely helpful and professional. Our oceanfront suite was perfect, the beach was stunning, and La Popular was exceptional. However, the staff is who really made our honeymoon memorable. We'd like to specifically mention Isaias, Dana, Juan, and Victor for making our stay at Nomade one of the best experiences we've ever had.

Had sundowners and food a couple of times while staying down the road. Great place, amazing food, drinks and vibes. Dana and Victor gave great service throughout, very attentive and friendly.

Highly curated, well executed experience. Incredibly helpful staff with a great offering to keep the stay engaging. Highly recommended.

There wasn’t anything not to like.

The minute you step into Nomade you feel like you have arrived. Surrounded by nature, immersed in the sounds of life, the design of the hotel is so beautifully in tune with nature. We had a bungalow room and it was spacious enough with an outdoor shower and tub which are secluded but it was so fun to shower outside every day. The service is fantastic , everyone is warm and hospitable. The food was good, and healthy. The location is fantastic , walking distance to town. And the sunsets were just breathtaking taking

The mosquitos were unbearable. I think the property can do more to control it. It was extremely uncomfortable and other places control mosquitoes better. Despite how much fun we had it’s something I will need to think about next trip

The beach and swimming pool area is very cool, the restaurant is excellent, the staff is great! Thank you to Francisco, Cristina (Crissy), Daniela, Isaías, Juan, Andy, Víctor, Dana and Angus the manager. Oscar the DJ is very cool too, music at the hotel is great if you enjoy chill electro. The hotel organizes cool activities every day.

There is no laundry on the property, water in the rooms and towels should be more easily accessible, cocktails are a little expensive for Mexico.

La chambre est une toile et il y avait du vent pendant notre séjour , du coup il y a un bruit permanent à l intérieur et nous avons assez mal dormi … le manque de luminosité est assez gênant quand la nuit tombe , on n y voit pas grand chose et on ne peut pas lire si vous n avez pas de liseuse , par exemple . La salle de bain étant en extérieur, pas forcément confortable avec ce genre de météo .

We very much enjoyed our stay at Nomade Holbox overall: the hotel itself is very beautiful, with thoughtfully designed facilities and an excellent wellness and activities program that really stands out compared with many other Hotels. The location is somewhat outside the main town, but on compact Holbox this is manageable; for going into town, using bikes or taxis (golf cart taxis) is advisable rather than walking.

The main drawbacks are linked to access and some neglected surroundings: the road leading to the hotel feels rather uninviting, especially at night because there is no lighting and the hotel bikes also lack lights, which seems like a missed opportunity to make arrivals and returns in the dark safer and more welcoming. The beach itself is pleasant, but several old, run‑down structures remain in front of the hotel section, creating a slightly derelict impression and detracting from what could otherwise be a truly idyllic beachfront setting.

La chambre moon temple n’est pas adaptée aux conditions de vie sur place : les moustiques en saison humide au Mexique. Un vrai calvaire .. Par ailleurs, la chambre en hutte manque drastiquement de luminosité et de rangement ce qui ne rend pas confortable le séjour

Waste of money. Overpriced for what it is, no facilities or services including the beach. The room was dirty, there was no light in the room, the bathroom was outside with animals while using the WC. Not hygienic at all, as well as the sinks outside because I couldn’t leave even the toothbrush that was full of insects and mosquitos. No hair drier in the room. Everything super expensive.

While Nômade Temple Holbox offers a beautiful concept with lush botanical surroundings, unique villas and treehouses, our overall experience was disappointing for a five-star hotel. Cleanliness standards were below expectations, staff were often unfriendly and not very responsive, and restaurant management was frustrating, especially on Christmas Eve when hotel guests could not get a table. Food options were limited and overpriced, and basic amenities such as bottled water were poorly handled. The hotel has strong potential, but significant improvements are needed to match its positioning.

Finally, this week, I got to experience the incredible hospitality, the exquisite design & the general laid-back & unpretentious luxe. Truly, this is a very special place - every detail is thought of & every staff member is kind, full of information & so very helpful! the only this that could have made my stay better, is not having to leave…

Amazing location on the quiet part of the island, amazing design of the hotel recognizsed by Hotel Michelin Guide, very lovely staff, great room at Moon Temple - I think I liked it better then 'tree house accomodation ' we stayed in previously, quiet, chilled out, fantastic music & overall vibe. Hard to put ypur camera down type of the place :) One of our best hotels ever - if not the best one!

One of the waiters behaved quite inappropriately. When I declined a straw for my cocktail, he laughed and said, “Saving the world, right?” Throughout the service he was muttering under his breath and his overall attitude was distinctly out of line with the hospitality standards demonstrated by the rest of the FOH team. I have a feeling that food and cocktails were slightly better when we stayed there in April 2024.

Great hotel with a nice concept but few little things to improve such as breakfast or noise due to taxis at the entry. Restaurant is very good and service is good as well.

outdoor setting makes it impossible to enjoy : very agressive mosquitos and hotel not equipped against. Relentless flies and bees during meals and again hotel not equipped.

The location and accommodation are very good. Beware as they automatically charge a 15% gratuity to everything ordered at the restaurant but the service is not that great; one of the servers specially was rude, sarcastic and impatient. I won’t name names but I was not the only one not happy with his service during the time we were there.

The best place to stay and to visit in Holbox. Since we arrive from the day we left, everything was amazing, the brilliant Staff, the coolness of the place, the lots of details, the unique rooms, the sea ahead, the sunset... AMAZING days.

Very nice hotel, room and staff. A special thank you to Jedier and Naomi for their wonderful hospitality. I would just suggest offering more breakfast options beyond black coffee—at least including tea—without an additional charge for a hotel of this standard, and providing a more generous bread basket.

La struttura in generale è stupenda. Il modo in cui sono arredate la reception e l'area del ristorante combaciano perfettamente con il mood generale della struttura e lo staff molto disponibile rendono il soggiorno un'esperienza magnifica.

La camera sull'albero è stata stupenda ma le dimensioni della parte interna sono un po' sacrificate. Nonostante questo lievissima nota, sono estremamente soddisfatto della mia scelta.

This is the second time I stayed at Nomade Holbox.Astonishing in every way. Property is beautiful, service is great, food is amazing and all members of the team are polite, friendly and very kind. In particular we interact at La Popular with Andy, Daniela, Rey (love to joke with him), Yesi (head bartender), Cristy, Victor & chefs plus all the team at reception. Management does an impecable job and it is highly appreciated. From Mezcals on the beach at noon to fresh catch of the day at night while the best playlists in the World sound at the beat of wild birds under the moon light…This is DEVOLUXTION at its best.Total Bliss. Please refrain from booking here if u like all inclusive type of vacation, or loud music or big groups of friends or if mosquitoes bother you. This is a quiet natural environment suitable for those who want to chill within nature. Thank you all at Nomade. Will be back, again.

Honestamente me encanto todo, solo si tienen que saber que queda algo retirado el centro para caminar y en la noche mas ya que no esta muy alumbrado… obvio tienen las bicicletas incluidas oh pueden pedir taxi.

Beach club and overall hotel design were beautiful. Receptionists were very kind. Our room ans bathroom was very pretty although lack luminosity.

Our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. Room Cleanliness and Comfort: While the room was aesthetically pleasing, it was not properly cleaned. The fan was full of dust, shampoo and lotion bottles were not closed properly, and the bed had not been made by 7pm. The lighting was so poor that we had to use our phone flash to see inside our bags. Breakfast: The breakfast was very limited. Only black coffee, eggs with two sides, and a small basket of four breads (not enough for each person to have one of each type) were provided, and the breads were heated in the microwave. Guests had to choose between a small glass of fruit juice or six fruit slices. Additional bread had to be paid for, which felt unreasonable. Privacy: There was no privacy—opening the curtains meant anyone outside could see inside the room. Service: Some waiters never smiled, though one or two staff were friendly. Receptionists were nice, but despite all our complaints during the stay, nothing was offered in response, except the bread baskets we refused to pay for. Overall, the stay was far below expectations.

Holbox is a different experience. Not average. This hotel is very far from average. Unique, creative architecture and decor. The staff is amazing. Food ,excellent. The background music is pleasant and unobtrusive. For those who want to "get away," this may be perfect. Be aware that flies and mosquitoes are unavoidable. Staff do their best to help, but insect repellent might be a good idea.

Kristy, Carlos, Andy, Isaias, and so many others absolute gems are part of the staff and absolutely made our stay that much better. Thank you for the amazing food, service, laughs, and memories. It was just what we needed for a relaxing stay. I’m going to miss the resident iguanas so much. THANK YOU!
