La habitación con vistas al mar era espectacular, sobretodo desde la bañera al atardecer. Tuvieron el detalle de dejarnos un obsequio ya que celebrábamos el cumpleaños de mi marido

Einzig der Strandabschnitt ist nicht der schönste.

Sehr schöne Anlage mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Besonders toll sind die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten: Rooftop-Pool, normaler Pool und der direkte Zugang zum Strand. Die etwas ruhigere Lage ausserhalb des Zentrums hat uns nicht gestört.

Im Zimmer gibt es leider kaum Möglichkeiten, Kleidung aufzuhängen oder zu verstauen: nur fünf Kleiderbügel, einen Haken und eine Stange. Gerade für nasse Kleidung fehlt eine geeignete Möglichkeit, sodass vieles im Koffer bleiben musste. Einige Liegen waren zudem deutlich verschmutzt und könnten eine gründliche Reinigung vertragen.

Hotel fantastico, ottimo anche il ristorante. Il personale molto preparato e presente. Soprattutto Fernanda che ci h accolto in struttura e guidati verso la scelta dei vari tour dell'isola.

Everything was fantastic.

C’était notre deuxième visite à cet hôtel. Notre première visite remonte au 4-6 juillet dernier et nous avons adoré. Lors de notre arrivée, nous avons été pris en charge immédiatement, un jus désaltérant est offert ou un verre d’eau froide. Azanet nous a accueilli avec son magnifique sourire. Les formalités d’accueil complétées, nous sommes alors escortés à notre chambre Villa 2. Chemin faisant, nous rencontrons le directeur de l’hôtel, Pablo, qui nous reconnais immédiatement, quelle mémoire des visages, échange de politesse et nous poursuivons notre chemin. En longeant le restaurant Fuego de l’hôtel, par un autre hasard, nous tombons sur un autre visage connu le Capitaine Jaziel, le responsable de la restauration. Il nous souhaite la bienvenue également et échange de politesse. Lors de notre première visite, nous avions échangé beaucoup avec ce dernier car nous avons pris nos petits déjeuners et dîner à ce restaurant Fuego. Nous arrivons à notre chambre Villa 2, magnifique et spacieuse. Nous avons un balcon privé avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. La chambre est impeccable, propre et décorée avec goût. La chambre est équipée d’une grande douche et de 2 lavabos avec des produits d’hygiène de qualité de marque Abeja Reyna. Le lit King avec ces oreillers moelleuse, les draps super blancs et un lit des plus confortable. Comme d’habitude, nous avons pris nos petits déjeuners au Fuego, des œufs cuits selon vos goûts, corbeille de pain délicieuse servi avec beurre et confiture. Le café Expresso de mon épouse et mon café Americano étaient excellents. Lundi soir le 24 août, attablé au Fuego, en prenant l’apéro, nous avons regardé le magnifique coucher de soleil. Pour couronner le tout, nous avons pris un dîner raffiné accompagné de son assiette de fromage Burrata accompagné de ces tomates et de basilic. Le tout servi en même temps, à notre demande, que notre steak Ribeye, servit avec une cuisson médium parfaite et frites. Nous y retournerons en octobre.

Pour être honnête, tout est parfait.

Una experiencia fantástica en AWA Holbox que sin duda repetiremos!! :) El hotel se veía super bien cuidado, casi como nuevo, tenia 3 edificios y nosotros estábamos en el de Villas. Personal muy amable y atento en todo momento. Desde el hotel tienes acceso directo a la playa que esta muy bien cuidado por el personal de mantenimiento, con todas las opciones de camas, hamacas, sombrillas, puffs.. tienes de todo. Sin duda para nosotros lo mejor del hotel han sido las piscinas. Es alucinante la cantidad de pisicinas que tiene el hotel tanto en la planta baja como en los rooftops. Nosotros disfrutamos todos los dias del rooftop del edificio Villas y es increible, ademas en todos tienen servicio de bar y restaurante. También tienen una zona de gimnasio frente al mar que esta bastante completa y por la mañana da sombra ;) Todos los servicios son por whatsapp, lo que lo hace muy comodo. Nuestra villa tenia tambien una bañera para dos personas, y ver el atardecer en nuestra terraza, con nuestra bañera y nuestra intimidad fue algo magico. La comodidad de la cama, la ducha, los jabones, toallas, agua y climatización y la iluminación es algo que esta muy bien pensado y sin duda ofrecen una estancia acogedora. Nosotros sin duda repetiremos en AWA cuando volvamos a Holbox!! :)

Por poner algún inconveniente el hotel esta un poco alejado del centro, como unos 15 minutos andando, y si llovia habia muchos charcos y era complicado llegar, sobre todo en zonas con poca luz, asi que tenias que coger un taxi para llegar bien. A veces la luz o el agua caliente o fria no iba, pero eso son cosas propias de una isla y no es culpa del hotel. El servicio de Wifi va por cada edificio, pero en algunas zonas no llega del todo bien, de todas formas vas a Holbox para desconectar.

Un vrai coin de paradis. Le site est magique, l'hôtel beau et confortable et le personnel attentionné et professionnel. Tout était parfait. 10/10 !

Location and facilities of the Hotel

L’emplacement est excellent. La chambre est très spacieuse, le mobilier est confortable et l’équipement disponible dans la chambre est très complet. Rien à redire de ce côté, c’était très bien! Le personnel est également très accueillant et sympathique. Petite recommandation pour les futurs visiteurs : installez l’application WhatsApp avant votre arrivée. L’hôtel l’utilise comme principal moyen de communication avec les clients. Les questions, les demandes de service et plusieurs autres échanges se font directement par WhatsApp.

Check-in assez long : nous avons reçu notre chambre avec environ deux heures de retard. Après un long voyage, nous aurions apprécié pouvoir en prendre possession dès notre arrivée. Pendant notre séjour, nous avons également constaté ce qui semblait être un manque de personnel. Que ce soit pour prendre le déjeuner, commander une boisson ou recevoir la facture, le service prenait parfois beaucoup de temps, mais malgré la charge de travail évidente, le personnel était toujours accueillant, disponible et souriant. Un grand merci à l’équipe pour son attitude positive malgré les circonstances.

AWA Holbox is a true escape and getaway. I loved our room (the villas with a bathtub on the balcony with a view). We had a lovely time there and would definitely come back.

The food from the restaurant Fuego (in the evening) was a bit meh. Kinda disappointing thinking about the price for the food and the hotels general high standard. We had one day where we had no water the whole morning and also in the afternoon, which was quite problematic and annoying. But it happens.

Lo staff era gentilissimo ma spesso faceva un po’ di confusione con i pagamenti degli ordini accreditati alla camera.

À notre arrivée nous avons été chaleureusement accueillie avec le sourire et empressement. Notre chambre était étincelante, la literie de très bonne qualité et notre lit très confortable. Notre chambre était au troisième étage et la vue sur la mer était incroyable avec son coucher de soleil. Le petit-déjeuner était très bien, le café Américano est pour moi très bon. Le café Expresso de mon épouse était excellent. Les oeufs étaient à point et le pain qui est un surplus est extraordinaire avec ses confitures. Le restaurant fait face à la mer et la vue est magnifique. Les chaises de plage sont confortable et en quantité suffisante. La plage de sable sans cailloux et la mer est parfaite. Nous y retournerons sans faute prochainement.

À notre arrivée, un verre de jus vous est offert, en passant très bon, pas trop sucré, mais j'aurais préféré une bouteille d'eau. Nous vous encourageons a continuer votre bon travail. Garder le sourire...

AWA Hotel has exceeded our expectations. My husband and I were super happy with the room that we got. Nice bed pretty comfy to sleep on, clean, spacious and we got ourselves a private terrace that has the bath tub there. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, it wasn't awkward with them. Fernanda and Naomi (Mimi) have stood out for us, they took care of us and made us really happy. Thank you sooo much for the care. Love that there are also alot of places that you can relax, there are different swimming pools, types of lounge beds, and enough places for food and drinks. All in all, I would come back again if opportunity comes!

Because of full capacity, the beach towels are always out of stock. But that was managed well.

Hôtel magnifique, très bien placé, et très moderne. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas eu de chambre libre pour la nuit suivante, nous aurions bien aimé y rester plus longtemps. Remerciements a Édith pour son accueil et sa gentillesse.

We wish we could have stayed longer

Mooi ontworpen en op een rustige locatie

Lekkage in de kamer bij regenval. Veel lawaai van muziek en kinderen doordat de geluiddichting niet goed is. Ongeorganiseerd men vraagt steeds om fooi. Inchecken werden we 5 keer gestoord door ander personeel. Bestellen van drinken duurt lang en wordt door 4 verschillende personen gevraahd of we wat willen bestellen. Daarna durft men ook een bon te laten tekenen met fooiopties van 15-18 en 20%!! In Europa is dit echt onacceptabel.

La réception se trouve à l'entrée dans un coin exigu pour recevoir 2 personnes à la fois. Un verre de jus vous est offert pour vous faire patienter et il est de bon goût. Nous arrivons dans notre chambre, surprise le frigo est là, mais pas de mini bar, même pas une bouteille d'eau froide, pourtant c'était indiqué avec le mini bar. Notre chambre est superbe avec vue sur la mer, notre lit très confortable. La literie est super. Par contre, nous avons regarder la magnifique paysage assis sur le bout de notre lit King Size car dans notre chambre nous n'avions pas de petite table et de chaises. Notre balcon ne possède qu'une chaise avec une table en rotin, pas fort pour regarder le coucher de soleil. Au moins, nous avions notre bout de lit. Le petit déjeuner était simplement bien, j'explique, nous commandons des oeufs, ils sont servis à notre goût mais sans les roties, il faut commander le pain à part, par contre pour 190 Pesos, le pain très bon servi avec confiture, là ça va. Le café Americano est très bon, là ou ça cloche il vous charge 20 pesos pour 40 ml de lait, pour ajouter à votre café. Là je trouve que il s'agit d'exagération de la part de l'hôtel AWA. La qualité du service et du personnel est à la hauteur d'un 5 étoiles. Je tiens à remercier le gérant de la réception qui a réglé rapidement mon problème d'eau en bouteille dans notre chambre. Je remercie le capitaine Javier de la salle à manger pour son professionnalisme.

En premier lieu, un établissement comme le AWA, 5 étoiles, devrait avoir au moins une table avec 2 chaises par chambre. Le petit frigo mini bar devrait contenir quelques bouteilles d'eau. Un balcon devrait être muni de 2 chaises pour admirer la mer et le merveilleux coucher de soleil. Le lait qui accompagne le café devrait être inclus dans le prix de la dite boisson. Deux (2) serviettes de plage étaient absentes dans notre chambre à notre arrivée.

Excelentes instalaciones, todos fueron muy atentos durante toda la estancia. Las playas son cristalinas y puedes ver peces en la mañana con solo caminar unos pasos dentro del agua. Quede muy feliz con el hotel y sus servicios, las habitaciones e instalaciones se encuentran tan cual de ven en las fotos. Vale mucho la pena el tour de bioluminisencia, es una experiencia única.

El varias ocasiones del día no servía el agua fría del baño de la habitación,dejaba de salir agua o solo salía caliente.

There was a problem with water one day, we could not shower, use the sink or even flush for more than half a day. I had to ask for an alternative so we could take a shower and the staff showed us a shower we could use.

No cumplieron con la habitacion reservada de vista a la piscina, nos dieron la que quisieron o teninan, sin vista a la psicina al parecer segun el hotel AWA el tipo de habitacion que ofrece booking no corresponde con el tipo de habitacion que manejan realmente, se habia reservado en planta baja vista a la piscina por la accesibilidad por una persona con problemas dew movilidad, y es un alojamiento que no tiene para acceso con silla de rueda. NO ES HOTEL APTO PARA SILLA DE RUEDAS EN 1er o 2o NIVEL.

This property is quite gorgeous and the architecture very unique.

Los atardeceres son maravillosos, la atención del personal esta increíble, la comida es muy rica, las vistas son muy bonitas 👌 , las fotos de la habitación son tal cual, pero lo que más destaco fue la atención. Es fácil conseguir el taxi frente al hotel y tienen muchas amenidades.

No me gusto la entrada a la playa, esta demasiado rocosa, el día 1 no tuvimos agua caliente, lograron resolverlo al día siguiente, y que la ubicación respecto al centro de holbox no esta muy clara, en la descripción marca que 1 min caminando a playa holbox y a cocos 10 min pero es necesario tomar taxi 🚕 .

Paradisiaque !! Foncez c’est l’un des meilleurs hôtel que j’ai pu faire de ma vie. Nous avons accès à la piscine et à la mère dans l’hôtel ainsi que plein d’activités chaque jour. J’adore ! 10/10

The hotel was beautiful, comfortable and clean! The staff was also very friendly and helpful.

The food and drinks were overpriced and sometimes the service was slow.

I loved that the service matched the atmosphere and aesthetic. The customer service was exceptional. They supported with everything we needed even ordering late night food from another restaurant and ensuring it was delivered. The Presidential Suite rooftop with the tub was such a dream and the views were spectacular. The sunsets in the evening were breathtaking and the beaches were so pristine. I also loved the intimacy of the boutique hotel that has a larger hotel feel as it relates to service. The pool was also a great space to socialize. We met a few friends while swimming downstairs, I love that the pools are open to the public even if youre not staying in the rooms with the outdoor pool seating area.

The best we a little too firm and the food at the beach club was subpar and a bit overpriced. The water in the shower was lukewarm. It never got fully hot but I would stay here again!

I liked everything about the hotel. It was simple luxury. The price for the room was decent as well. All of the staff members were very accomodating and I really enjoyed them and the inyeractions we had.

Around the sides of the hotel on other properties had trash along the roads.

The hotel had this typical boutique vibe and was located a little bit out of the centre of the small town. It provide peace and quiet as well as proximity to everything you might want to do. The room was a the most amazing room of our entire trip, decorated very nice with a home feeling from the first minute. They offered free water for all guests which you can really use when it becomes warm!

Minor detail but the gym is not really a gym. Or you elevate the experience or you remove it :-)

A really lovely hotel, that could be fantastic! However, it is not 5* quality and is therefore overpriced for what you get. The majority of the staff were fantastic, especially Erik, the butler, all the bar staff and the hotel us very clean. The reception staff however, were incredibly rude and particularly unhelpful!

A few key things… Check-in is 3pm - we arrived at 3pm and our room was not ready, so we were told they would come and find us… 1.5 hours later we went to ask and they had clearly forgotten about us. Small details like regularly running out of beach towels. There are frequent power cuts on the island, which of course is expected, however, we had paid for a premium villa room and there is no back-up power in this part of the hotel (unlike the main block) meaning we were left without power, running water or a working toilet for hours on end. When we asked at reception about a solution to get ready for the evening, the staff rolled their eyes and said it could be hours! No apology or solution offered. We therefore asked to speak to the manager, who was at least apologetic and helpful.

The rooms, though a little small, are really comfortable and boutique. The staff were amazing too, super helpful - perhaps the most of anyone on our trip. It's a beautiful space, with direct access to the sea, and a really nice pool.

There were a couple of issues during our stay, such as coffee not being available one morning, as well as a couple of other items from their menu. It's a really nice hotel that we 100% recommend, but a little overpriced and presents itself as a luxury but lacks that spark. The reason our grade isn't too high is in relation for what you get for the price, but it's still a really nice place to stay.

Les odeurs dans la chambre, la plage et surtout le rapport qualité prix décalé. À l’extérieur tout est serré: peu de transats, piscine étroite … une journée il n’y avait même pas de serviette disponible pour la piscine. Bref pas à la hauteur en regard du prix.

Food was quite overpriced. Lots of Italian food , reastraunts around hotel were also steak/ Italian. Only a buggy ride/ short walk to centre for Mexican food

The amenities are amazing! Has many different roof top pools, also access to the beach, the rooms are nice and we did have an ocean view, M4 was the room. It is still very new and honestly amazing hotel. We went with our 2 year old and another family that had a 5 month old and the building we stayed even had a common area with a pool overlooked the ocean, Maybe because it was in May but we had that common area all to ourselves. It was my birthday and they even brought us a bottle and a cheesecake slice that was delicious, made us feel celebrated! Edel was amazing, he helped us with our luggage but really helps with everything in the hotels Erick the concierge was also amazing! The receptionists were very kind, loved everyone there!
