I couldn't easily work the shower- the writing on the levers was v small and difficult to see once the water was flowing.

Room stank of cigarette smoke I requested the loan of a pair of scissors from house keeping, and reception staff refused my request on the grounds of safety ! ( There was a serrated kitchen knife provided within my room ).

Nice hotel. Well located for the hospital as I was travelling for treatment. The hotel was modern and spacious. Parking in the multi-storey carpark was straightforward.

We stayed at the studio room, it was our first time trying this hotel, and first time staying in a studio room, absolutely spot on, the facilities were great, the cleanliness, everything was great. The bed was very comfy, we liked the size of the tv, and the fact you could spin it around, so you could have it facing the bed, or facing the sofa if you wanted to watch the tv, which we did for both. 1000/10 this hotel is. We will definitely be back in October 😊

The breakfast was excellent. I stayed here because my husband was in the Royal Liverpool Hospital, it was very convenient. I wouldn’t normally go into a bar on my own but I had a meal and a drink and felt very safe.

I tried to book in for another night unexpectedly but unfortunately it was fully booked.

While the facilities and breakfast were excellent, I felt the price was a little high given that the hotel does not offer amenities such as a spa, pool, sauna, massage services, or a gym.

One of the best hotels not only in Liverpool but actually in the whole country. I found the quality of hotels in UK are way lower than same stars level in Gulf for example. But this hotel is super clean super fancy and everything was just perfect! Will definitely be staying at it next time. The staff were very friendly & respectful and the breakfast was amazing.

The hotel was very nice, but for us the best part was definitely the staff. A hotel stay is really about how you are treated, and the reception staff were always so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were also very clean and comfortable. We ended up staying here many nights because we always felt welcome and knew the standard of cleanliness was good.

Stayed 3 weeks with 3 different floors, on the third stay room 511. The fridge wasn’t working and the plug on the iron was open seeing wires. This was reported to the desk on the Tuesday and again on the Thursday but was not rectified.

Good location, near the Hope St/Metropolitan Cathedral area. Easy check in. Good value for money.

The manager was a very nice guy Because when I arrived they gave me a room which was not clean and the bed was dirty, the next day he changed our room with upgraded.

Greeted by a lovely gentleman on arrival, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are gorgeous and even though it’s close to busy roads I slept very well and it wasn’t noisy. I felt 100% safe as a solo female traveller too. Would definitely recommend!

I liked everything

This is my 4th stay at Novotel in Paddington Village, and it always meets my expectations. The bedrooms were clean, comfortable and was spacious for the size of room it was.

For such a beautiful hotel, I would have expected on-site parking rather than using the multi-storey car park.

Everything about this hotel was excellent- the staff were brilliant, the beds were comfortable, the room was very clean, the toilet roll was good quality and the breakfast was very good. It was also very quiet for a big hotel, despite us staying there in August.

A suggestion would be for the hotel to have more than one coffee machine at breakfast to avoid queues for it. The location was outside the city centre and it took about 30 minutes to walk in; a taxi back cost just under £10.

I loved the staff very friendly and helpful. Loved how soundproof the rooms were as I have an autistic child who screams when she stims.

The beds were like prison issued. I felt like I was sleeping on the ground outside. I barely slept all night uncomfortable and woke up with my body aching. I’m 33 years old and never woke up feeling that achey. The beds all were rolling around and seemed like a cop off. Definitely needs better beds and mattress to match the rest of the vibe

Great location. Spacious studio room. The hotel was really clean and tidy. Very nice bar and breakfast area. Breakfast was also great. Staff were great. Would definitely stay again when visiting Liverpool.

Asked for a upgrade to studio said it was accepted and had to pay £60 got to the hotel to be told it wasn’t accepted and there was no studio available booked breakfast no veggie or vegan option sausage vegan are not nice should be told there is no options other than hash browns mushrooms beans and toast then on check out to be told parking machine not working then half way to car park the staff came chasing me saying I owe £60 explained to her the upgrade didn’t go through explain the room I paid for wasn’t even a studio still didn’t believe me told me to come back got back to hotel to be told she’s checked and there is nothing owing to them in the room there was no Toiletries and didn’t see like the king room I booked will definitely be looking to book with another hotel group next Time the WiFi wouldn’t work the staff had to put me on the staff WiFi

Excellent hotel , facilities faultless and breakfast brilliant. Hotel is about 25 mins walk to the centre though whit we did walk but also used an uber and the city sights bus. All in all Excellent

The single beds in the room were for under bed storage to hide them which we found unusual but understandable, although there was no complaints about comfort on them

It was clean, staff were friendly and helpful and the 12 noon checkout time is great.

No swimming pool and a reading table would have been great.
