The location was great and the industrial design was giving cozy vibes.

The soundproofing can be better. We can hear everything that's going on at the corridor, especially the annoying doors.

No complaints, the room was nice and clean and comfortable. Staff were kind and helpful and we loved the cats!

Industrial-style boutique hotel. Clean, stylish and in a great location, with a bar, restaurant and café in the same building.

Only downside: poor soundproofing — loud music and laughter from the bar at night.

Very aesthetically appealing, however it’s not just nice to look at, it’s also comfortable and convenient. Also the cats!

Carrying luggage to and fro the lift from the lobby is not comfortable.

The noise that easily travel around? I think the door need some upgrade.

The mattress was the firmer type of. We had good rest because of the mattress.

The cleanliness - could have been cleaner, there are many mold-like black thingy in the shower cubicle.

I liked the architectural style and the decoration.It is located in the city center, where you can easily access everything you need.

The double beds are small, there's only a chair and a table in the room, the refrigerator with lockable compartments is in the hallway, the water heater for the whole floor is in the hallway, there's no kettle. Netflix doesn't work.

The location was perfect, you're literally in the center and you can just grab anywhere or even just walk which would probably only take 10-15 minutes. The staffs were very nice and there were many hotel cats as well laying in the lobby. The hotel def has a different vibe and has more characters compared to a boring expensive hotel, and i love that you can refill your water and there's always snacks! and you can even store food into their shared refrigerator. Bed was very comfy and there's a big mirror for the girls to get ready.

The smart TV wasnt working, it says it's not connecting to the WiFi and we've tried multiple times. but all good since we were there to explore penang instead of staying in for netflix!

The location is superb! Smack in the middle of Georgetown. Staff were very attentive when we asked for extra amenities. Room was very clean, so were the toilets.

The area can be a tad bit too lively for families with younger children at night.

aesthetically pleasing vibe, clean room and nice staffs. free parking space (need to validate first with the hotel to exit) and can walk to places nearby. sandwich from the cafe below tasted good too!

the shower curtain and pillows smell abit. and idk why but the room somehow felt damp? the fridge is outside the room so abit inconvenient to store food. it's ok to stay one time for aesthetic, but personally will not repeat and not rly recommend to those who want long stays

Very good location, near to many food shops and beside a renowned massage shop. The lobby has an open seating area that is very comfortable at night, and the house cafe serves great coffee. The room is modern enough and has all the amenities.

I loved the vibe of the hotel - the interior design was lush and you can tell there was a lot of thought behind the branding. I loved the cafe downstairs too, the orange juice with cold brew coffee? Yum! Everything’s literally a short walk away and easy access for grabs if you’re planning to venture further out. Staff were lovely and helped with the luggage - they even hold it too before/after checking in/out. It’s well worth the stay and when I come back to Penang, it’ll definitely be my accommodation of choice!

Lovely clean and modern rooms. Great no frills stay with comfortable and clean rooms. Location is good, with walking distance for lots of tourist activities.

The vibe giving and the concept of hotel is fabulous!

I like the design of the room and the bed was comfy to sleep on. I like the idea of the book of rules where we can contact the counter by WhatsApp anytime. There is also a garment steamer for use on request which is an added value. The location is right in the middle which makes it easy to get to the places of attraction. They have bicycles for guests to cycle around Georgetown. The Sandwich Bar has a 10% discount for guests.

The pantry provides 2 in 1 coffee/ teh tarik with some popo snacks. It would be better if biscuits/cookies are added instead of unhealthy snacks. Perhaps it would be a great idea to provide a pair of scissors at the pantry bc the teh tarik pack simply cannot be opened. I was asked to go down to the counter for the scissors. I believe having a scissors at the pantry would save a lot of hassles. The automated handwash machine is not working and I have already told them I don't need it and yet the staff told me they will return it in 10 mins time after the charging. It kept me waited in the room.... And they were not back until the next day. Can't they just make a replacement immediately instead of keeping me waiting in the room? I don't mind to use the normal pump one instead of the fancy machine. The door seems to have activated the alarm device everytime I close it. Was it broken? The air conditioning system is not cold enough same as what the reviews say. So I don't have high expectations of it. On the last day, I had requested a time extension to check out as I couldn't get back on time. It's good that they allow it. But they came to knock at the door making it an unpleasant experience. Anyway, these are my experiences having to know it's a 3 star hotel. The price is slightly higher than the 4 Star hotel with sea view that I was in the day before. There is really a huge difference in servicing customers between the 3 and 4 Star hotel. Here the customers are not the priority....if you are here only for the interior design of the room, it's worth it.

The hotel is very central and walkable to tourists attraction. Also love how they provide bicycle so you can ride to the attractions nearby

The noise. The sound insulation in this hotel is quite bad I would say. Can hear ppl chattering at the bar downstairs and ppl open and closing doors. Also the aircond was quite hot as well. Also there’s no water provided in the room, you’ll need to go to the common area to refill your water

We were told that we need to pay extra for early check in. We have indicated this request when we received an email from the hotel and was not informed of this extra charge.

I love the stay, its in the heart of the city. Overall in the room and the staff are perfect.

Great location. Clean, spacious, comfortable room with thoughtful amenities. Really enjoyed the vinyl bar, restaurant and the sandwich bar too.

Just 2 small point of dissatisfactions is that there isn't a smooth pathway for wheeling luggage from ground level to the lift landing, and no TV channels to catch up on news and sports.

Si eres un amante del diseño, este es tu lugar. Fue un lugar perfecto, nos arrepentimos de no quedarnos más días. Todo estaba pensado al detalle, la habitación era muy bonita, las sábanas super suaves y los amenities geniales, sobretodo a nivel de diseño gráfico. La cafetería era genial también. Muy bien ubicado. Pudimoa guardar las maletas en el lugar para explorar la ciudad antes del check-in.

Great location and the friendly cats that welcome you in the lobby area. I enjoyed the raw concrete aesthetic and design. Quite a contrast to other building styles. Even the rooms carried forward the same design feel as when you first walk into the lobby.

There is a rooster next door but he is doing his job every morning.

The hotel has a convenient, central location in Georgetown that’s within walking distance of most attractions. It’s housed in an aesthetically-pleasing, industrial-style building that, in keeping with the rest of the city, is a revamped older building. Staff is friendly and there’s a good cafe, restaurant, and bar on the premises.

The hot water temperature and water pressure in the shower were iffy at best. Noise due to the bar, road traffic, and the building’s design can be an issue if you are light sleeper.

Very nice and beautiful hotel, we really liked the modern and simple decoration. Everything was very clean. Staff was friendly. It was nice that there were lots of plants there and the cats were cute.

Couple things that weren’t even that big deal, but if they were changed I would give the hotel 10/10. The shower head could have been better, the bathroom in general was super modern and new, so it was weird that there weren’t a rain shower. Other thing is that the room didn’t have a fridge, there was a general fridge in the hallway, we found it pretty inconvenient. But like I said these weren’t that big of a deal to us and we still really liked the hotel!
