Nothing in particular. Unfortunately, my overall experience was very negative and distressing.

I had a very serious and distressing experience at this property. My reservation had ended and I was trying to extend my stay, but I was extremely unwell and physically unable to get out of bed. At around 12:10 PM, while I was asleep, several people from the property entered my closed room while I was completely undressed. They entered my room twice. The first time, several people entered and tried to wake me up, and they left after approximately 10 minutes. The second time, they returned with even more people, entered the room again, and approached my bed while I was still asleep and undressed. They recorded me without my consent and filmed the room and my personal belongings. I was also threatened with police involvement and threatened that the video they had recorded of me would be shared if I did not wake up and leave. After I eventually left the property, they initially refused to return my $300 deposit and told me that they would not return any of it. I strongly disputed this and refused to leave the reception area until my deposit was returned. After a dispute with the staff, they eventually returned the full amount. Another issue was that visitors were not allowed at the property, but this restriction was not clearly stated when I made my reservation on Booking.com. My friend, who had a separate apartment at the property, also experienced problems with the property, including repeated knocking on his door for cleaning even after he had clearly told them several times that he did not want cleaning. After my friend posted a review about his own experience, the property contacted him through WhatsApp and asked him to remove the review. They then threatened to share the video they had recorded of me inside my room while I was asleep and undressed if he did not remove his review. My friend had screenshots of the conversation and told them that he had documented the messages and would report the matter to Booking.com.

Accommodating staff

Location was good near my conference. The room was like a small flat good space.

The hotel is compound of flats separate from the reception. The room I took was500 m away from reception. The room door lock was broken and I asked them to fix it 3 times and they could not fix it. The worst thing is that staff are not honest and so managers. They told Booking.com I am already on the room while I stayed in the street until 12:00z they even refused to cancel my booking and too my money.

I really appreciate their efforts and would be very happy to stay here again on my next visit to Istanbul. Highly recommended! At check-in I was told the deposit was €400, although the booking stated €250. The receptionist said he had no idea what was written on Booking and would charge whatever their internal policy required. Since the apartment had been paid for in advance, this person put me in an extremely unpleasant position: either I pay or I don't check in. When I asked him to contact his management, he simply said everyone was asleep and he wouldn't call anyone. He didn't even try to look into the situation. After checking out, I had to file a complaint on the portal, and Booking confirmed that charging such a deposit was unjustified. So I would recommend being careful when booking this apartment. In the end, the whole stay was ruined.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay. I booked your most expensive accommodation, a two-bedroom penthouse apartment, for four people. However, when my guests arrived, we were not allowed to have all four people stay with us. The way your staff treated us was extremely disappointing and, in my experience, felt disrespectful and discriminatory. I was particularly embarrassed as I was with my family and friends at the time. Regardless of how much I paid, I expected a reasonable level of service and respect, but unfortunately this was completely lacking. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone based on my experience, and I genuinely regret spending my money there.

الموظفين قاموا باخذ مبلغ 30 يور من غير ان يتم اشعاري بذالك وعدنا. قلت اخبرتهم بان موظف المطعم هو لم يقوم بارشادي بان الافطار ليس مجاني وقاموا بتهديدي بخصم المبلغ من التامين وعندنا طلبت منهم اني ارغب في التواصل مع الادارة رفضوا وقالوا بان الموظف هو من سوف يدفع حق الافطار هل يعقل هذا يادارة بوكنق العميل يتم الضغط علية وعند الخروج وموعد السفر حتى لا يرضى ويدفع مكره ار جوا النظر في هذا الموضوع

الموقع ممتاز و على الشارع الاساسي للمواصلات العامة و السكن آمن و نظام امني مريح مع وجود عنصر أمن في مخرج البناية، و أحمد كان لطيفاً جداً و يمتلك الاحترافية في التعامل.

لا شيء تقريباً عدا تنظيف الغرفة تأخروا عندما كنا بحاجتهم.

The most important issue, and ultimately the reason that we could not stay at Garlon Residence, is that despite several exchanges verifying an infant crib for our 7 month old daughter, they provided a broken infant bed. At first it was concealed with a blanket, which is quite frankly shocking. The bottom of the bed was falling out, broken pieces were hanging out of the bottom where the bottom panel would be attached. We contacted the front desk asking for a replacement. A very rude employee (Osman I think was his name) then proceeded to say that someone would maybe come at 23:30 to take a look at it.. we told him this is unacceptable, our child cannot be up that late for a bed that may or may not even be fixed. Then he proceeded to come up to the room and claim that the bed is not broken at all before admitting that I was indeed, broken. The saga continued when he showed up with a different infant bed which was also broken. After attempting to assemble it, he was exasperated and basically said there was nothing he could do until someone possibly comes at night. At this point we felt that this was not a safe place for our daughter to sleep. We were not treated with respect, and most importantly were not provided with an essential part of our booking that we previously confirmed several times before arrival (the last time the day before arrival). The way Osman communicated with us was shockingly rude. The man at the front desk on the other hand was apologetic and kind but could not offer a solution. We felt that we had no choice but to leave.

Alles war super, sehr sauber, das Personal war freundlich und das Zimmer hatte alle Annehmlichkeiten und wurde regelmäßig jeden Tag gereinigt. We were so lucky to find Garlon Residence in the last minute after refusing to stay at the original hotel booking we had which was terrible. We are a family of 5 (3 children) and very much enjoyed our stay at Garlon Residence. The location was fantastic for public transportation with Taksim metro station being a 10 min walk. The apartment was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Complimentary water provided everyday.

Vraiment j'ai apprécié toute l'équipe personnel accueillant chaleureux et très aimable surtout M Usman Hamza surreya et Ahmed sont les meilleurs. Un emplacement près du boulevard ISTIKLAL TAKSIM ..... Propre et calme Ma famille a adoré le séjour à Istanbul grâce à cet hôtel. Merci infiniment Garlon

Das Essen im Restaurant. Sicherheitspersonal vor den Gebäuden.

Aufgrund mehrerer Mängel mussten wir insgesamt viermal das Zimmer wechseln, was mit einem kleinen Kind sehr belastend war. Angefragte Ausstattung wurde teilweise erst nach mehrfacher Aufforderung bereitgestellt. Zudem gab es technische Mängel, unter anderem unsachgemäß befestigte elektrische Leitungen im Bereich der Dusche und eine undichte Klimaanlage. Die Fenster waren nicht ausreichend dicht, sodass Straßen- und Umgebungsgeräusche sowie Lärm von Nachbarn bis in die frühen Morgenstunden deutlich hörbar waren. Auch die fehlende „Bitte nicht stören“-Beschilderung empfanden wir als problematisch.

The space was nice and big enough. The shampoo in the bathroom was low quality and make hair very dry we bought our own, there was no hair conditioner and body lotion. The area is not a very safe area though has a good metro access. There was a problem with the door of apartment and after discussion with hotel they changed it but it gave us a lot of stress. The room service was not ideal but after few request they fixed it Overall was not what I expected from the money I paid. There were two staff by the name Hamza and Somayeh who tried their best to help to solve the problems as soon as possible. We are thankful for their help.

كانت تجربة الاستقبال واستلام الغرفة سيئة جدًا ومرهقة، خصوصًا للعائلات. عند الوصول لم يتم إبلاغنا بمكان مناسب للجلوس والانتظار إلى حين انتهاء إجراءات الدخول، والاستقبال نفسه ضيق جدًا ولا توجد أماكن جلوس كافية. بعد ذلك استلمنا غرفة كانت المراتب والكنب فيها مبللة بالماء، واضطررنا للانتظار قرابة 3 ساعات حتى تم تجهيز غرفة بديلة. بدل أن تتم معالجة الموقف باعتذار واهتمام، كان الأسلوب وكأنهم قدموا لنا خدمة إضافية، بينما ما حصل فعليًا هو استبدال غرفة بها مشكلة. تعامل بعض موظفي الاستقبال كان سيئًا وباردًا، وأكثر ما أزعجني هو أن الوعود بمواعيد الاستجابة لم يكن يتم الالتزام بها؛ يقال لك “10 دقائق” أو “سيأتي الموظف”، ثم تنتظر طويلًا ولا يحدث شيء إلا بعد المتابعة والتذكير عدة مرات. حتى بطاقة الغرفة لم نستلمها إلا قرابة الساعة 10 مساءً، وكانت المعلومات بين الموظفين متضاربة، وكل موظف يقول شيئًا مختلفًا. أثناء الإقامة لا يوجد هاتف في الغرفة، والتواصل عبر واتساب والرد قد يتأخر لساعات، وأي طلب للغرفة يحتاج متابعة مستمرة. بشكل عام، الاستقبال واستلام الغرفة كانا من أسوأ أجزاء التجربة، وشعرت أن وقت النزيل وراحته ليسا من أولويات المك

One of the worst travel experiences of my life The staff were extremely unprofessional. We arrived at 1:00 p.m., expecting to check in at 2:00 p.m., but our room was not ready until around 4:30 p.m. The reason was unbelievable: the staff had mistakenly given our room to someone else. The reception area is tiny—probably no more than five square metres—and we had to wait there for two hours without even a single chair to sit on. Only after a long argument, and while our room was still not ready, were we taken to the fifth floor and offered a coffee. This was the welcome we received from a supposedly five-star hotel. We had already paid through Booking.com, so we could not simply cancel and move to another hotel. In hindsight, I truly wish we had. When the room was finally ready, we were told that it was actually located in a separate building in the next street. They then demanded a $250 security deposit, supposedly refundable if the room was returned undamaged. This requirement had not been disclosed in advance on either the hotel’s Booking.com page or in the booking conditions. During the night, the electricity went out three or four times. For breakfast, we had to walk back to the main building, where the food was very poor, with almost no variety, and served in an uncomfortably warm space. The worst part of the entire experience was the staff’s attitude. It genuinely felt as though they knew our reservation had already been paid for and was non-refundable, so we had no choice but to stay—and therefore they could treat us however they wanted.

Beautiful apartment in a very good location.

- Internet was very unstable. I had to run to a closed by cafe for my work meetings. When it worked, there was a privacy warning in iPhone about the network blocking encrypted traffic, so you have to turn off your VPN. My work computer has an organisation VPN which cannot be turned off for safety reasons, so it didn’t work anyway. See the picture. - TV didn’t work for the entire 6 nights. 2 technicians came to fix it but they didn’t manage. We were promised they would come back to us the next day but nothing happened. I followed up on WhatsApp but no response. - Staff was kind but seemed to be undermanned.

Absolute nightmare — nothing like the photos or the experience advertised One of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve had. The listing and photos created the impression of a professional, well-managed property, but the reality was completely different. We were supposed to check in at 2:00 PM. When we arrived, there was no proper hotel lobby or reception. We walked into what looked like a room with two staff members standing there, and neither acknowledged us until we spoke to them first. The check-in process was chaotic. After checking our passports, we were suddenly asked for a €250 security deposit, or the equivalent in USD or Turkish Lira. This had not been clearly communicated to us beforehand. There were three separate guests checking into three separate rooms, yet the staff appeared unsure where the rooms even were. Instead of dealing with each guest separately, all of us had to follow staff from one apartment to another, walking around the surrounding streets while they tried to work out who was staying where. This is also not what most people would consider a normal hotel setup. The apartments appear to be spread across different buildings in the area, and getting to them felt like navigating a maze. This was very different from the hotel-style experience we believed we had booked based on the listing. We arrived at 2 PM and were still dealing with the check-in process around 3:30 PM. Even after finally dropping off our luggage, we had to return and wait again for the access cards because they apparently had to be registered individually. I was sharing an apartment with my friend and requested two access cards. We were told they had run out and to come back the next day. We did exactly that, only to be told essentially the same thing again. So two adults sharing one apartment were expected to manage with a single access card simply because the property had not prepared enough cards for its guests.

Location wise

I’ve stayed at this hotel before, and unfortunately, this stay was an absolute disaster. We arrived around 3 PM, but our rooms still weren’t ready at 4 PM. To make matters worse, the rooms we had originally booked were supposed to have no stairs, yet we were given apartment-style rooms with stairs. I clearly explained that I was travelling with elderly family members who have undergone heart surgery, but no one even bothered to offer a proper solution or alternative. We checked in around 4 PM, but our luggage didn’t arrive until 8 PM. When we asked, we were simply told that they didn’t have enough staff. The WhatsApp number was also completely unresponsive. Honestly, the whole experience was extremely disappointing, especially because this was my second stay at the hotel. I expected much better service and organization this time, but unfortunately, it was a complete nightmare.

حجزت عندهم وكلمتهم قبلها بيومين يجهزون الغرفه على وصولي الساعه 8 لان معاي رضيع وصلتهم الساعه 9 الصبح قالو الدخول 12 وجت الساعه 12 والا فيه وتمت 1:30 ومعاي رضيع الدخول الغريب انهم مافيه وضوح الان وصلت الساعه 1:30 مافيه تشكن ان تمت الساعه 2 وهو مادخلت !! 1-سكن اقل من عادي 2-استقبال متر* متر 3-مافيه لوبي حاطين لوبي بالدور الثاني عباره عن 4-غرفه لوبي 4 متر * 3 متر 5مايردون على الاتصالات 6-العربون 500 ريال 7-كل شي عندهم برود في برود والناس جايه سياحه 8- اخر مره احجز عندهم

De verblijfsruimten

De kosten voor het inchecken van 400 euro dat mogen ze best vooraf aangeven en daarnaast mag je de hotel verlaten na kamer controle om je borg terug te kunnen krijgen. Je moet wachten tot dat zij komen . Moesten een uur lager wachten terwijl wij vroeg in de ochtend hebben aangeven Hoelaat wij wilden uitschecken.

Everything else about the stay was great. The location is excellent, the apartments are clean and comfortable, and overall it is a high-quality residence. Special thanks to the reception team—both the gentleman and the lady—who were extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive when we raised our issues.

The Wi-Fi situation was very disappointing for a high-quality residence like this. For the first 4 days, the internet barely worked, forcing us to use mobile roaming data for work, which resulted in significant extra expenses. Although the staff eventually provided us with a dedicated router for the final 2 days to solve the issue, spending 4 days without proper internet severely impacted our stay and productivity.

We had a wonderful stay at Garlon and really enjoyed our experience. The customer service was excellent, and everyone was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. We also felt very safe and secure, as the security was really good. The whole team went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We truly appreciated the great service and would happily stay at Garlon again! A special thank you to Hamza and the manager! They were great.

The location itself is great, with Taksim Square only a few minutes’ walk away, which made it very convenient for exploring the area. However, we did find that some of the backroads around the hotel could feel a little unsafe, especially when an Uber dropped us off on the quieter roads. We would recommend being mindful of which entrance or road your driver uses, particularly at night.

J'ai séjourné à plusieurs reprises dans cette résidence. L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter la ville, c'est très calme, propre et bien équipé. Le personnel est très accueillant et serviable, un grand merci à Osman et Rassoul pour leur amabilité et leur disponibilité.

Certains agents de sécurité à l'entrée de l'immeuble sont assez rudes, ils ne répondent pas aux salutations, même en turc, l'un d'eux s'est adressé à moi de manière très désagréable et assez agressive pour me demander un justificatif qui prouvait que je résidais bien dans l'établissement, pourtant c'est son travail de connaître les clients.

تجربة رائعة في الفندق، والخدمة كانت ممتازة من الاستقبال وحتى المغادرة. الغرفة نظيفة ومريحة، والموظفون متعاونون وودودون جدًا. وشكر خاص للموظف عثمان على حسن تعامله واهتمامه وحرصه على راحتي، وكان مثالًا رائعًا في التعامل والاحترافية. تجربة جميلة جدًا وأتمنى تكرارها، وأنصح بالفندق بكل تأكيد.

Les appartements sont très spacieux et très bien équipés. La literie est impeccable. Le petit déjeuner est excellent aussi. Excellent service.

Le fait de nous faire payer un early check-in. J’avais demandé par message si cela était possible d’arriver tôt je n’ai pas eu de réponses à ce sujet. En arrivant on nous dit que ce n’est pas possible et que l’appartement n’est pas encore libre. Quand je demande de payer pour pouvoir nous reposer on nous dit que finalement l’appartement est libre. Il aurait suffit de nous répondre avant notre arrivée en précisant les frais relatifs à un early check in.

التأخر في التنظيف بصراحه وساخه اللحاف الداخي للبطانيات النوم يحتاج اكثر اهتمام من الفندق اما الشرشف الخارجي الواقي نظيف

FRAUD / SCAM There was a very bad smell in the room when we arrived ( vomiting) , request the staff to clean the apartment from the smell or transferred us to another room they requested from us to repay the full amount for our stay if we moved to a different room when we arrived, reception requested security deposit for EUR 250 or equivalent in USD, I gave the reception USD 300 ( they provided me with a receipt for the deposit unfortunately, i haven't check the paper. at the time of check out, i found out that the amount in the paper is USD 200 and the reception refused to check the cameras or check the safe box for the remaining USD 100 reception officer mentioned that he will gave me what was mentioned in the paper, although i am sure i paid USD 300 not USD 200 they even didn't return back to me with the complain I did or reviewing the cameras honestly, I am shocked from the behavior, as it wasn't my first time stay in the hotel

The property was excellent, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I would especially like to appreciate the manager Mart for his professionalism and hospitality, and Osman for being extremely helpful, kind, and attentive. They both made our stay much more enjoyable.

Honestly, everything was great and we had no major complaints. We really enjoyed our stay.
