Murray the host was lovely and very knowledgeable of the area and gave great advice on local eateries and events . Would definitely return and highly recommend.

The owner was very welcoming, he helped with bags and the breakfast was on point. My 11 year old said it was onne of our best breaks at a seaside. We were so comfortable we forgot our check ✅ out date.

Murray was the perfect host and The Kildare was a lovely place to stay a couple of nights with my daughter. Great recommendations for food and a fabulous location to be able to walk everywhere.

You are on a residential street, and because it was the height of summer we had to sleep with the windows open, but that did mean there was a fair bit of noise from neighbours. Nothing terrible, but it was noticeable.

Everything. The owner was amazing, and my daughter enjoyed the stay. We did bed and breakfast. But we didn’t have it on the last two days of our stay as my daughter has anxiety and couldn’t bring herself to come downstairs.

The rooms are really nice and bigger than they look in the photos, the beds are comfy too. The breakfast is amazing, good fry up but also has everything else like pastries, cerals, toast etc. The location is brilliant too 5 minute walk and your at the clock tower.

They had a slow coffee machine for breakfast that caused a que for coffee. Could do with a better caffeine supply. Other than than it was spot on.

The most clean hotel I’ve stayed in period and it’s a real important thing for me. Apon speaking with the owner he informed me each room gets an hour cleaning where as places like haven get 20 minutes per caravan and why there standards are rubbish. Great Breakfast and central location, ignore maps apps telling you centre is 16 mins away it’s not. Owner explained through the whole breakfast process apon arrival. We stayed in the family suite it’s massive with one double and a single and your own fridge. Beds very comfortable. Shower amazing pressure and massive cubicle with loads of towels given. You get a lot of tea and coffee and free biscuits apon arrival was very impressive. Overall great hotel.

Only a slight niggle and nothing that serious the curtain rail kept disconnecting from the wall so curtain would come off but nothing major.

On arrival Murray meet us. Very helpful and explained everything to us from time of breakfast to how the coffee machine worked. Room was clean and comfortable everything we needed.

Murrey is very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Clean well equipment room with comfortable bed and portable fan supplied. Breakfast is plentifu, hot and very tasty and also offers gluten-free option. Minimal parking on property but plenty of parking on street. Highly recommend, will definitely return

Welcoming, clean & close to centre

Dispenser in shower. Shower is small enough without obstructions that my partner hit his head on after bending down.

Excellent variety for breakfast, room very comfortable and clean. Plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. Fan provided in the bedroom was a thoughtful touch during the hot weather.

The Kildare is ideally located with easy, walkable access, to the sea front, shopping, bars and restaurants. The owner is very friendly and he personally cooks the excellent breakfast! My room was very light and spotlessly clean. Good in-room facilities, the bed was very comfortable and the towels were soft. Murray, the owner, runs the place virtually single handed and his efforts make The Kildare a brilliant place to stay. No negatives as far as I'm concerned.

Great valid for money in the budget room. Only thing was could put a bi fold door on the ensuite rather than a cheap concertina door .

Location was perfect for our needs. Within easy walking distance of shops and seafront. Not far to travel to reach Skegness race stadium. This was our third stay at the Kildare. Perfect host in Murray. Professional yet friendly and accommodating. Breakfast has so much choice, is always fresh and cooked beautifully. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are clean and tidy. We always enjoy our stay. This is why we have returned for the last three years and hope to continue.

The property was very clean, tidy and warm. The room that I had was quite tight for space but perfectly adequate for my needs. I could have had a larger room I understand.

Good location. Onsite parking. My accommodation was upgraded as a better room was available. Host ‘Murray’ was very accommodating to providing an early breakfast. Good information available on local restaurants.

Rooms are fine for one person but would seem a bit small for a couple.

The host could not do enough for us. Everything we asked he fulfilled. Would highly recommend. We will stay there again.

The host and owner,Murray was friendly, hospitable, communicative. The breakfast was second to none and plentiful. The location was ideal for the waterfront and restaurants - all within walking distance. The room was clean and enough for a base. There was a good set of guides for restaurants and other attractions.

We were in a room with twin beds which were not terribly comfortable. That was the only grouse.

The breakfast was exceptional. Consistent quality through the week with a full range of options.

Really clean with all of the essentials covered. Huge TV and Murray the owner was so hospitable.

Murray was tentative and very helpful. The breakfast choice was plentyful. Fabulous location.

The Kildare was very clean. Breakfast was the best we have every had with so many choices and self serve process was very good with everything explained on arrival. The area was very good and an easy walk to the centre. Room was great and good in size. Added extras eg shower gel soap etc was a great added extra.

The hotel was spotlessly clean. Host was friendy and explained how things worked. Good WiFi. There were USB charging ports as well. It is in a good area only a 10 minute walk from the railway/bus station, town centre and promenade. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
