Pool was great. Quiet in early morning, vibe changes around 10am
Lovely staff, very clean, modern, beautiful pool.
They charge $25 a day as a fee and you have to spend it onsite on food or drinks. It seemed a little excessive.
Close. Convenient. Clean
Nothing
The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and the shower was great. I love great water pressure. We had breakfast both mornings and it was delicious. Valet was quick and took care of our truck.
The parking situation was a bit challenging. Cars hanging out in the street until they could get in the very small valet section.
The location was perfect !! beautiful hotel
No parking was definitely a problem, and the front desk staff was very rude. We were simply asking questions about parking because there is no parking available. Instead of being helpful, she acted like she didn’t want to be bothered and was very dismissive. She simply told us there was no parking and that was it. The lack of parking was frustrating, but the rude attitude from the front staff made the experience even worse.
Everything
All was amazing
How clean it was and staff was friendly

Great rooms, beds are so comfortable and the pool was great too!
The prices at the pool are very expensive
Nice staff
The destination fee the fraye hotel jumps on you at arrival of 25 dollar per day. It is not so much the amount but you have booked and paid, standing with you suitcases and it is an expensive hotel already and this is just akward and unpleasant. Location is rather far away from the Action. I would not visit again.
Friendly staff, big room and clean
No hot water on first day .. then they “fixed” it but the it took over 10’min to have lukewarm water … water was never warm :( was not expecting this type of issues for such type of hotels
Beds were comfy , A/C worked well! Room and decor was very welcoming. Loved the fun art and playful furniture in the entire hotel
I did not like the $25 meal fee that was tacked onto each day of the duration of the stay. I would not stay here again bc of that. That was only beef I had and heard it from many guest there. At the pool, in the elevator etc.... it's bogus to have your guest forced to spend $25 a day. I witnessed a family of 5 chcking in at 11:30 pm and the front desk were having them pick out soda, chips whatever food that added up tp $25. It's crazy
I enjoyed the location of our room, we were kind of tucked away in a small quiet corner which was very nice and private

The pool
Before u book it doesn’t tell u that u have to paid $75 each stay. That’s one thing I don’t like. The rooms the ceiling is all mess up
Nice rooms, located close to Broadway
Staff wasn’t very friendly, you are charged for everything (including early check-in). Too expensive for what it is
The rooms were clean, the bathroom was nice, shower is okay, the shower curtain is short and the water is always splashing to the bathroom. the view of the room is good, but the walk to broadway was 32min.
The pool area was horrible, you cannot see two steps in the pool. Kids were in the pool and you cannot see kids if they went underwater. The bar, we ordered queso nachos, the queso had a hair in it, we sent it back. Didnt offer any free drink or anything, just didnt charge us for it. The bar area had only bar workers friends sitting and all occupied the bar.
Pool was always packed with so many people. It was a hot holiday weekend. Only time we could get in was when it was raining and nobody was in it.
Large room with comfy bed
Property is further out of town than I expected. Parking is valet only which greatly adds to your costs. Extremely overpriced in general and then additional fees added that aren’t advised before check in
The location is perfect. Close to Vanderbilt, close enough to downtown to uber but not too close. The property is very nice. Rooms were spacious and fun. Pool area was great. The bar was good and bartenders were personable and competent. And the live music was great.
Nothing. Oh, and Hattie B’s is right next door. That might be too close. We did visit twice. That’s a warning for folks. 😊
Horrible clerk at desk Very belligerent. Don’t stay here.
James was the best valet I’ve ever had. These gentleman are polite, accommodating, and so kind
Great service! James and Brayden went above and beyond handling my vehicle and provided excellent customer service.
Was here working for an event and the Valets were amazing. James was professional and prompt with the vehicle return.
James and Braylon were great taking care of me and my car
Great valet experience and service from James!
Central location-beautiful interior/design.
Nothing I didn’t like. I just so happened to plan a trip when it was CMA fest (which I was unaware of) and the hotel price was on the very high end for one night.
This is an absolutely beautiful hotel close to downtown Nashville with a ton of restaurants, bars, honky tonks and shopping within walking distance. The hotel itself is very clean, new amenities, phenomenal restaurants and friendly staff. The customer service is exceptional, very attentive and welcoming. The rooms are modern and spotless, luxury bedding and amenities, floor to ceiling windows overlooking Nashville. Really a luxurious stay and worth the money. My only complaint was the cost of valet. Almost $130 to park for 2 nights is insane. The valet staff were very friendly, very quick to retrieve my vehicle, 24 hour in/out service, but severely over priced as you’re forced to valet only on property. It would be the one thing that makes me decide to stay somewhere else which is a bummer because I absolutely love this property.
Lovely hotel, pool and bar on that level were great
Check in staff weren’t the most friendly!
Loved everything about. The staff was amazing. Didn't want to leave.
Food at restaurant could use improvement
Lovley interiors, whoever did them has done a very good job in every aspect of the interior design of the hotel. Very comfortable and very large room with lots of storage. Clean and comfortable. Great location for mid town. Good bars and food in the area if you don't want to be in the middle of the madness. Right off music row.
The service of this hotel was some of the worse I have ever experienced. This was not down to individual staff but the hotel management need to review how they are operating this hotel. Mentioned in a lot of reviews are issues with the complimentary water. We were told that it would be refilled everyday house keeping came, and if we did not want house keeping then we could ask a reception. Never once was the water refilled, I belive this is due to the accessibility of this water to the staff. We had to request our room to be cleaned as by day three still no one had even knocked on the door. This was a consistent issue. The biggest issue was the hotel pool, we picked this hotel due to the pool as we are not used to the climate we felt it was essential to have. It is also a focal point of the advertisement. We only went twice as it was very dirty and unwelcoming. No staff attending the pool, a constant stream of people at the pool, drinks left in cleaned for hours and even at one point floating in the pool. Waitresses were doing an amazing job given their environment. Constant short staffing with lazy inattentive hosts. There seemed to in general be short staffing from the restaurant, bar and reception. Constant wait lines at reception with one staff and phones ringing. Even at peak check out and in times. The hotel has beautiful interiors and finishes but management needs to be reviewed.
The best events team in the business! We often travel with 125 ppl and have experienced all types of services and the Fraye Hotel team knocked it out the park. They were consistent, solution oriented and miracle workers for managing ad-hoc requests. Our team felt the support and care throughout our entire event.
Room was lovely, shower was great, gym and pool are excellent.
Staff on the desk are slow to serve, staff in the restaurant are particularly poor.
Het zwembad.
Destination fee is niet ok.
Tish at the front desk is absolutely phenomenal! We had rented an Air B&B where the host never responded one we got there at 11pm. Air B&B was supposed to reserve our rooms at this hotel, but ended up just putting a hold on the rooms. We were traveling with 5 kids, ages 15-20, and it was 12:30am by the time we got to the hotel. Tish took the better part of an hour to get everything straightened out and charged to Air B&B, and she got all 4 of our rooms close together on the same floor. She comped us breakfast, helped with parking, and had a general great attitude helping our family. What started out as a very frustrating night, ended wonderful because of this woman!!
Unfortunately I do not know much about the hotel. My wife and I were informed two days before our arrival that the hotel was overbooked and our prepaid room is no longer available. We appreciated the Hotel Fraye rebooking us at another hotel down the street. That is where the positives end. Our hotel room was prepaid with points and The Hotel Fraye never compensated the other hotel for our stay. So we were asked to pay $650 at the new hotel for the last minute booking. I have tried for a week to contact billing and general management with no response. Seems like an easy fix, but I guess the leadership team cannot be bothered.
The hotel was in a great location. The room was gorgeous and very comfortable. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and there was lots of choice of dishes. Would definitely stay there again.
N/A - was fantastic
Unpacked for 3 day stay and found toilet clogged. No assistance available at 1030p. No assistance offered but was told only option was to pack up and move to another room. Expert very poor service level if you brave staying here.
Everyone was very helpful and kind. Crew was quick and efficient.
The staff is amazing at this property from my arrival until departure. Beautiful rooms and delicious food and beverage! Great location!
Beautiful well maintained
Had to pay for valet
Everything!!
The price for parking is $55 a night
Everything was very nice & clean. Everyone was kind & helpful. The valet guys we met, Hamza & Graham were very personable & patient. They gave us good tips about the city.
Braylon at the valet was exceptional. It was clear that he loved his job and got my car to me in no time.
Beautiful gym, very comfortable bed and sheets !
No balcony
As someone who travels frequently, I’m usually able to find a fair balance of positives and negatives wherever I stay. This is the first time I’ve felt compelled to leave a review like this. I shared my initial review yesterday that included photos reflecting our experience. The General Manager asked that I remove them for privacy and as he felt they portrayed the staff negatively. As a business owner myself, I value feedback and professionalism, so I honored that request. That said, removing photos does not change what actually occurred. From the moment we checked in, the service was off. The front desk was cold and unwelcoming, and there was no valet present. My husband waited approximately 10 minutes before anyone appeared, and when he did, there was no offer to assist with unloading the vehicle. Our friends arrived shortly after us, one of them a combat veteran with one arm, and he unloaded his entire vehicle on his own while the valet attendant stood nearby and watched without offering any assistance or cart. Throughout our stay, the pattern was consistent: staff appeared disengaged and more focused on their phones or conversations with each other than on guests. Interactions often felt dismissive. You didn’t feel welcomed, you felt like an interruption. Ironically, one of the most hospitable people we encountered was Justin Wall, a musician playing in the lobby. He went out of his way to greet us and make us feel welcome- something that should be standard from the staff, not the entertainment. There were also multiple service failures during our stay. Our friend contacted the front desk because an outlet in their room was not working for his CPAP machine and asked if an extension cord was available. He was rudely told to “sleep on the other side of the bed.” No attempt was made to offer a solution or send maintenance. Breakfast service followed the same pattern. We had to repeatedly ask for coffee and water while staff stood nearby, disengaged and chatting among themselves. Two other diners had to walk up to the hostess station to pay their bill because they said they were ‘forgotten about’ and got tired of waiting. (Our table was within earshot of the hostess station.) In addition, on two separate occasions when our truck was retrieved, the passenger seat had been moved and adjusted, and there was a noticeable odor of marijuana inside the vehicle. We do not smoke, and the only individuals with access to our vehicle were valet staff. I would strongly suggest ensuring that valet attendants are not smoking or vaping in guest vehicles. Beyond being inappropriate, it may also help explain the delays and lack of attentiveness we experienced. This was especially frustrating given that valet- at approximately $55 per day- was the only parking option offered. We were told there were no other parking options available. On Sunday evening, the lobby was completely unattended. There was no one at the front desk, except for a very frustrated guest waiting to check in. After a while someone finally emerged from the back, eating, to check him in. We also had to wait because valet was once again MIA and it took about 20 minutes for someone to show up and take our keys. There was no acknowledgment or apology for the delay. Since my initial review, the General Manager has communicated with me through multiple back-and-forth emails, but never once called, despite us being told that he would. Written communication lacks the ability to have a real conversation, and a direct phone call would have gone much further in addressing the situation in a meaningful way. There were more issues that I would have liked to discuss that I have not listed, but I am done exchanging emails. I also find it worth noting that had my review highlighted exceptional service or praised staff, I highly doubt there would have been a request to remove photos. Requesting their removal only when the experience is negative feels less about privacy and more about limiting visibility into what guests are actually experiencing. I do want to point out that Jake and Erin did make an effort and showed professionalism—but they were the exception, not the standard. Their reactions also seemed to indicate this is an ongoing issue, not something new. Our stay included over a weekend and the weekday staff was noticeably different. Josh at the front desk was a breath of fresh air and super apologetic for the weekend lack of service. At least our stay ended on a higher note. The property itself is nice and has potential, but it is currently being undermined by a clear lack of accountability, attentiveness, and basic service standards. Based on our experience and what we witnessed, we will never, ever, stay here again.
Great experience. Very nice people
James in valet is awesome! Polite, friendly and professional!!
I drop off guests at the Fraye often and James the concierge is always friendly, welcoming and smiling. It's always a joy to deal with james!
I think the wifi should be included for everyone
Great hotel and great location to everything. Parking can get backed up a bit. Kumar (valet) always fast and friendly
Jacory was great - car was on time and ready
James the valet, did an amazing job and was very friendly, looked after our car and did it all with a smile on his face. We went to the Gathre, the pork chop was the bomb!
Awesome stay, super nice hotel, clean, convenient location, and valet was a breeze - shoutout James!
Camory was really nice in Valet!
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
Comary was excellent. Great service and so friendly and polite.
Destination fee is obnoxious and not well explained. Sheets not fresh smelling. Bathroom fan run was loud and ran constantly. Overpriced. Valet overpriced.
Our Valet Parker, James was the best! Very efficient, kind, and respectful.
Or Valet was fantastic and started my day with a smile and fast services!
James the Valet Attendent guided me to the restroom and my experience was lovely. This hotel is a 5 Star Hotel.
Jonathan at the valet was amazing. Made my morning. He needs a raise!!
Very cool vibe. The lobby was as inviting as the room. Staff was friendly and efficient. This will be our Nashville place to stay.
I hated we had to check out.
Pool, breakfast, location
Valet parking expense
Great atmosphere!! Very peaceful and quiet when you are in your room relaxing!
I wish the property had more information on the parking garage next to it. I ended up spending hundreds of dollars on parking next door. If you are not from Nashville, it can be very overwhelming trying to figure out where to park. I feel like options for parking should be suggested before arrival.
.
Never received the deposit back I was promised. Even though we left the room in perfect condition.
Very clean and good location for downtown events.
Parking was in house, but overpriced with no self parking option.
As a Hilton Diamond member who travels extensively for work and leisure, I have stayed at some great hotels, but The Fraye in Nashville is now #1 on my list. The hotel was amazing, but what truly elevated my stay was the exceptional service from Josh at the front desk. He was super welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of and made our New Year's eve trip unforgettable. Josh's genuine hospitality and professionalism is the reason I've been a Diamond member for many many years.
Great place to stay, actually attached to the apartments my son lives in. A diverse blend of amenities and staff is great.
We had to come to Nashville unfortunately for a funeral today and decided to stay at Hotel Fraye just because of its’ proximity to the church. This Hilton product is one of the best ones we’ve ever stayed at. The decor in the rooms and the common areas are very tastefully done. They had a whiskey and s’mores event going on in the bar when we checked in which was a nice touch, but the staff has been the most friendly and helpful of any Hilton staff anywhere, especially Khadir! Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable during tough times. 5 stars!!!! We’ll be back.
The atmosphere was so luxurious, yet cozy, the rooms were so clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay to include personal Keurig and bath robes! For the amount that we paid, it was well worth it. The location was fantastic, in Midtown and only a short Uber ride to Broadway. The staff was so friendly, including Josh, who took our bags when we first got here so we didn’t even have to go up to the room. He even gave us a food credit for a birthday we were celebrating at the Gathre where we booked brunch. We could just spend time with our family and start our fun day. Our server Dayni was fantastic! She brought out a dessert and rescued the 3 from our “30th birthday” balloons from the ceiling! Just a fantastic time all around.
Nothing.
We were told upon arrival that construction would be going on in our room during our stay and that a $49 dollar a day valet fee was mandatory to park my car there, which is absolutely unacceptable, then after seeing how small the room was, we booked a cheaper room (by almost $100), that was much larger, across the street at the Embassy Suites. I would never stay the Fraye again or recommend it to anyone.
The property was well maintained and clean
NA
I liked the room was clean, service was excellent. The atmosphere of the hotel was very cozy and nice. The breakfast in the restaurant was superb!
I didn't like how the water would splash on the floor when taking a shower. Extra towels were used to keep the floor dry when showering.
We had the best experience at Hotel Fraye. The hospitality was top notch. Alyx at the front desk was super helpful and was able to get us checked in early because we arrived earlier than expected! Sean with Valet was also amazing when we couldn’t find the number for our car. The hotel was beautiful and the beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel is also in a wonderful location to midtown. We will definitely be staying here again!
Staff, pool, breakfast, bar, decor, cleanliness, live music, everything.
Nothing, it really was all very lovely.
