The cost of the apartment for what it was wasn’t worth it! Shower was tiny and constantly having to mop up the water because it over spilled into the bathroom couldnt change the temperature in the downstairs so was cold at night

The room was perfect for a single traveller - very comfortable bed and cosy lighting. Great central location, near to good breakfast options and trams for getting around. Simple check in and check out.

There was music playing loudly until about 11 on weeknights, later on weekends. It was just about passable for me - someone who is not normally annoyed by these things - but anyone sensitive to noise should be aware.

Room had not been cleaned recently, mould build up in the shower. Dirty carpets and not been hoovered or mopped clearly.

The room was very small and extremely dark. No one answered reception in the morning as we had no milk in our room for breakfast drinks.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at your hotel. From the moment we arrived, the experience was far below the standard we expected. The television in our room did not work throughout our stay, the room had an unpleasant smell, and housekeeping failed to refresh our room or provide fresh towels. We were also never provided with complimentary bottled water, which was a basic amenity we expected. To make matters worse, the staff were unhelpful whenever we raised our concerns. On one occasion, a member of staff appeared to be behaving in a way that made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe, which was particularly worrying. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and lack of attention to guests made this one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. As a social media content creator, I regularly share my travel experiences with my audience. I had hoped to recommend your hotel, but unfortunately my experience has left me feeling compelled to share an honest review to raise awareness for others unless this matter is addressed appropriately. I would appreciate a prompt response explaining how you intend to resolve these issues.

Not a fan of the dark walls, made it very dingy in the morning, found the room a bit claustrophobic and very noisy as you can hear people opening and closing doors of neighbouring rooms.

Chambre exiguë et bruyante en journée et le soir, avec un énorme vis-à-vis. Donc manque d'intimité sauf rideaux fermés.Pas de bouteilles d'eau. Un petit déjeuner pas du tout à la hauteur du standing, apporté dans un panier à prendre dans la chambre obligatoirement, sans table pour le poser ou manger .Pas du tout continental et sans boisson chaude. Décevant.

Dark decor whilst very in keeping with its style is a bit too dark for me. It does however have large windows to help with this.

When rejecting the person or service on the reception she takes a deposit and she said deposit will be written soon as she will leave. It’s been over over four days deposit it’s not been returned.

The hotel is absolutely lovely and they have an arrangement for you to contact them at any time via WhatsApp and send a welcome message to get you started. They always make you feel so looked after and are ready to help with anything. It’s why we keep coming back. Hotel rooms are modern, clean and comfortable and I always feel like I’m in a mini second home. My only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the breakfast. It’s continental and not fresh - packets of long life croissants and breakfast bars. Whilst they do their best to cater for allergies or intolerances, it’s not the healthiest start to the day and I always have to take breakfast elsewhere. If I could have rated them as 4.8/5 I would have done.

Stylish, but sadly, all style over substance. The appearance is generally good, but the small rooms are not well-designed, there’s no seating, and the ergonomics are poor (especially the basin and shower); and the lighting and air-con are just annoying - the delivery is just not well thought through. Breakfast delivery is cute, but the content is a little weird (orange squash!?), and some rooms open straight out onto the lift lobby. Staff are not very visible, unless they are blocking the lift with their cleaning stuff…oh dear.

There was no cooked breakfast, despite the hotel having a substantial restaurant, There was some dubious brown stains on the curtains, and they said we didn't' have breakfast included when we did and then delivered it to the wrong room

Good location

Great suite in the centre of Manchester. We booked the larger room for a special occasion and it was lovely just spending time in the room after we got back from the city. Continental breakfast delivered to the room with muffins, croissants, yoghurts etc. When the bath plug in the first room we were in didn't close we wee moved to another room (similar) without any fuss and were given a bottle of prosecco as an apology. Good cocktail bar downstairs.

If I had to find anything, the location was a bit noisy (but it was a football weekend) on Peter Street.

Great hotel in the perfect location. Travelled from Belfast to catch Manchester United’s last home game. Beautiful decor with a real luxurious boutique vibe. The bed was another level of comfort and every detail right down to the shower gel was high end. We met Molly on reception who was soo easy to interact with made our stay relaxing, really did set the tone. Could not recommend more and I will definitely be back.

The blind on the skylight didn't work in the bedroom. Would have been useful to have more information how to use light controls. As an oven in provided in the suite, some cutlery would be useful. More tea and coffee would have been appreciated.

Cosy room, little space, average build, large person would have been awkward to walk round bed, no seat or place to put bag/case, or table for continental breakfast to room the only breakfast option.

We stayed for one night at the 47 Hotel and were lucky enough to get upgraded to a beautiful room. My only complaint is about the breakfast (and I have attempted to contact the hotel direct with my comments but despite my efforts have been unable to find an email address). Breakfast is served in a lovely wicker picnic basket which contained : 2 small bottles of milk, 2 small bottles of orange juice, 2 small packs of Alpen, 2 belvita breakfast bars, 2 chocolate tiffin bars, 2 Granny Smith apples and finally 2 small pots of jam - but nothing to spread it on!

Breakfast disappointing. Stale pre-packaged carbohydrate heavy. Probably the main reason I won’t stay again Also the (thumping) restaurant music til late at night was very audible in my ‘soundproof’ room, and I could also hear noise from at least two other rooms.

Het ontbijt! Geen buffet maar een mandje op kamer met verpakte taaie croissants en muffin. Niks vers, geen fruit, brood, beleg en koffie/ thee moest je zelf met cups maken. Bed werd ook niet dagelijks opgemaakt . Kruimels van het ontbijt werden ook niet opgeruimd. De rest van de dagen bij het koffie tentje er naast heerlijk ontbeten.

Ive been here a good 6 or 7 times with the mrs. We both always enjoy our stay here. Staff are always amazing and helpful. The rooms are cleans. Beds are super comfy. And the deco is 10/10.. would recommend upgrading to a room its well worth it

The hotel is in a superb location in Manchester, very central and close to many great restaurants and attractions.

Unfortunately, I was required to create an account on an external website to finalize my booking. Since staying, I have been notified of a significant data breach at the hotel, leading to consistent spam calls to my phone number. I was also charged an unexplained small fee after check-out. Due to failing to secure my personal booking data, I cannot recommend staying here. Additionally, a fire alarm went off during my stay. The staff did not follow evacuation protocols and reassured me to go back to my room while the alarm was still ongoing.

Been on first floor could hear the private party in the bar if had know would off ask to be higher up the floors plus tv volume was rubbish couldn't hear it properly.

In my scanning of boutique hotels, I chose the Forty -Seven hotel. Check in went smoothly and the cosy room was just fine. I discovered that the hotel bar and restaurant were closed and was told that they were managed by a 3rd party operator. I found this unforgivable. Another outcome of the restaurant closure meant that breakfast could only be served to my room. It arrived in a basket but with having a cosy room size, this did not work for me. The Illy café machine was grossly inadequate in terms of coffee options. Another small gripe was that I had to pay £1,20 in tax, but reception would not allow me pay this in simple coinage. So this means there will be a foreign exchange rate charge on my credit card. This might all sound petty, but I will never stay here again. The hotel, in my view is badly managed.

What should have been a fantastic experience turned into a nightmare. zero ventilation in the room, despite being assured they had done what they could I found myself at 1am dealing with the night manager who had no idea what to do to resolve the issue. Two adults and two children in a boiling hot room and no air conditioning or window that would open to enable ventilation. No resolution and a horrible night in appalling temperatures

Superb location and walking distance to lots of things to do, restaurants etc . Really nice hotel interior, decor, comfy bed and robes. Staff friendly. The hotel had an Indian restaurant which looked good but didn’t eat there, definitely will next time we return. Overall we would stay here again despite in the bedroom the ventilation was full of dust that could do with more regular cleaning. Few hairs in sink but no major issues. We did enjoy our stay and will be back soon.

I recently stayed at Forty Seven after travelling up from London. I arrived in the early hours of the morning, feeling pretty exhausted and a bit stressed about a conference I had to attend just a few hours later.From the moment I walked in, the experience was seamless. The Manager on reception was absolutely exceptional - super efficient and made the check-in feel incredibly personal, which was exactly what I needed at that hour. Even though I was there for corporate reasons, this is exactly the standard of hotel I would choose for any stay.The accommodation itself is stunning. It has a high-spec, boutique aesthetic with great modern touches like electric blinds and high-end finishes. It felt both stylish and comfortable.The only "even better if" would be the breakfast. Currently, it’s a continental breakfast basket, but I personally would have preferred a hot cooked option to start the day.That being said, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Manchester. Great atmosphere, beautiful rooms, and top-tier service. I’ll definitely be back!

Can't open a window in my room gor fresh air at £289 per night rip off. Got told air-conditioned but seriously can't open a window. Mini bar a rip off also.

I liked the treatment of the lovely ladies trying to cover up a screw up of a booking From noise to remote control to air conditioning noise to cottage cheese milk that I paid extra for and has had me sick for 24 hours beyond food poisoning milk. I'm getting over cancer and I was left in a terrible state. I've worked for sainsbury and marriott hotels in hr but the service was installed into us. You're running a walking nightmare

I think I've said it before. Coffee pots stagnant water concierge need i go on. Worst experience ever
