The bed was so comfy, the decor amazing and the full enflish breakfast was absolutely delicious
only one moan, we had to sleep with one ceiling spotlight on, none of the light switches wouls switch it off
Air conditioning in bedroom very noisy
Great location
Server poor in restaurant, completely not interested in being there and then charged us full price when reception said 10% off for guests. The water in room had been half drank. No tv remote control.
Very helpful receptionist
Grumpy bar man downstairs. Shower needed deep clean. Also hot water kept cutting out. Lights in room didn't work properly
Location and staff
Nothing.
Beautiful hotel very clean staff was lovely and breakfast was really nice lots to choose from all made fresh

Comfy bed
Cleanliness poor. Value for money poor. Reality vs pictures: poor
Clean friendly staff great location amazing food great price
Good location, very clean.
Maybe more dimmed lights in the bedroom?
Very modern feel, decor great. Location spot on.
The breakfast selection was limited, given the price paid.
Th staff were so helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable
No parking, Very limited vegan food options at breakfast
Beautiful property in great location.
Stylish rooms, central location.
Nothing
Didnt have breakfast _ too expensive on top of cost of room
Not Included in room price for standard breakfast
Location and the hotel breakfast. Excellent.
The after hours room service food. Poor.

Hotel great, very clean. Looks funky and access to roof bar is great.
Breakfast was understaffed, but staff there were very good. Chef served pink sausages- sent one back but another pink one came back. A bit noisy from tram horn early morning was annoying and the pillows are absolutely awful.
I liked the stylish bar and breakfast and the bed was comfy and the shower good.
I understand it was very central but it was too noisy. The windows i felt were single glazed and could of been a bit more soundproof for night time sleep. Could literally hear everything that went past from people to transport all through the night. Also the bedroom was very dark, lights didnt seem to get much lighter.
Good location. Comfortable bed. Good shower
The boy on reception was very unfriendly.
Really lovely hotel, relaxing decor, lovely welcoming staff. Great location. Two couples staying in separate rooms had the same problem with cleanliness.
The rooms were really lovely but not exactly to a good standard of cleanliness. Dust on door trims, skirting boards, splashes on wall in bathroom and towel rail was dirty, behind sink was slimy and there was black mould in corner of the shower. Real shame as the hotel is in a great location and the staff were 5* Friend dropped her earring behind the bedside cabinet and as she retrieved it her arm was covered in dust. Accumulated dust around carpet edges. Bed linen spotless and general surfaces had been cleaned but not the detail.
Close to city centre
Bathroom had a smell which didnt go away
Everything. Beautiful hotel.
It was in a great location with excellent room
Naprosto perfektní poloha hotelu, přímo v centru. Nádherný rooftop bar s výhledem na město a západ slunce. Personál neskutečně milý a nápomocný. Vynikající snídaně. Jednoznačně doporučuji pro pobyt ve městě!

This was such a beautiful room we originally had booked the standard room but upgraded just before the trip to the club room as it was for my birthday and wow it was amazing we arrived at 1pm the room was ready the man on the front desk was very friendly and helpful it exceeded expectations and had the most amazing bed we stopped on the top floor for cocktails before we went out a great view with the most amazing drinks menu the whole experience gets a 10/10 from me
Central location
Couldn’t find my booking , made to wait and then no apology for inconvenience
Great location for Albert Square so very central. Good transport links if you want to travel further from city centre.
Patio furniture on balcony. Weather was glorious so to sit out and have morning coffee would have been a bonus.
The receptionist when we booked in was exceptionally helpful. I was v impressed. (She's from Dundee.) She went above and beyond to make sure my colleague was happy.
Great location, fantastic room. Lovely staff
Erm, room service could be enhanced?
Todo nos encantó, fue la mejor opción para despedirnos de Reino Unido. El tamaño de la habitación, la comodidad de la cama, la ducha de lluvia, la ubicación, el precio... Todo perfecto!!
Nada. Todo fue maravilloso
The decor was just as the pictures that are shown just be careful as there are 2 Malmaison hotels 15mins apart from one another.
The room we were staying in had a leak in the bathroom at the exact point where you shower which was known before we booked and we’re located in that room. The security guard was very apologetic and supportive but the other member of staff had an attitude and almost tried to make it our responsibility that the bathroom didn’t leak again. In addition we were lied to and told there were no other rooms available which wasn’t true as I went onto booking.com and they had availability in every style of room that they have. It wasn’t a terrible hotel just a bad experience
Modern trendy and very clean Good breakfast choices Great rooftop bar
Lots of tables with breakfast plates still in them But enough staff at breakfast had to ask for clean glasses and mugs Rang three times to say our fire alarm was going in bedroom but it wasn't so rather annoying - I understand you have to check but maybe come up and check instead of keep ringing
Lovely room, great location and well priced for our stay.
The only thing that I would say was poor was the curtains of the room, they were falling off so we were woke up from 6am with the room lighting up from the sunrise.
Room design, great location
Nothing
Location was brilliant, and there was lots going on nearby. Lots of restaurants and bars and just a short walk from Piccadilly Station. The rooms were really comfortable and clean. Restaurant inside the hotel serves fantastic food, I wouldn't bother going anywhere else :-)
Breakfast in the morning fell short for me, usually there is hot and cold food on offer when you pay for it with the room, but there seemed to be just cold laid out with hot food on a menu - I'm not sure whether that was included or not, the staff didn't mention what had been paid for with the room, it was all a little unclear. If it wasn't included, then the price is is too high.
Location , staff and facilities
A small issue with housekeeping
Ideal location, nice room
Offered an upgrade bid 3 days before which we did. We were then offered the upgrade once we had checked in
The room and the shower. The receptionists. In special Colleen Brown.
Everything. No noise. Everything was perfect. Just the water needs to be sealed not opened.
Great location and very quiet.
Could not get in to the room at 3, but at least we could leave our bag. Fridge did not work. It would have been good to have information in the the room about the facilities and a menu for the restaurant and bar.
Clean, bright ver friendly and the Aircon was amazing in the heatwave. Dog friendly.
nothing
I loved everything about the property. Such a lush place, clean, stylish, cosy, roomy, great Staff, food amazing. We had Dinner and our complimentary cocktail in the Rooftop Bar. Fantastic views of the City. Great place to chill!
Nothing
The rooms were beautifully decorated and roof top bar was lovely.
Nice and clean with a well Presented look
Service on the 7th floor bar was extremely slow , also our room wasn’t ready for 3 we had to wait .. the woman said she would come find us .. I had to go back to reception to ask .. we graded to a delicate front standard.. don’t bother it’s only for robe and slippers
Central location, 20 minutes walk from Piccadilly, opposite Albert Square. Room was compact and functional with some seating and and coffee/tea making facilities. Great bathroom with a nice powerful shower. Slept really well, I was on the 5th floor and I couldn't hear anything from the outside - Blackout curtains did their job well!
How central is was
Great little hotel for the price it was very very good. Roof top terrace was a great bonus.
Cleanliness - dust build up on carpet edges meeting the skirting boards and mould in the shower - room 210 club suite.
Modern beautifully decorated
The room was very hot and didn’t sleep told them twice about the ac not working there tried to sort it I even phoned reception and he came up to room to check and he even said it was hot and there’s not even a window to open even tho there’s 3 windows. I finally got some little sleep but was too tired to even make breakfast I payed to have.
Location
Rooms were dark with bad light, windows were dirty which didn’t help with the light. Appreciate that unavoidable works were going on at the building over the road, our view was scaffold from dirty windows. We didn’t get the club deluxe room shown on the picture.
They made us feel very special.
That the roof top bar wasn’t open. That was disappointing especially as it was the summer.
The bed was comfortable and the staff were lovely
Very far from train stations, the light switches were very confusing, no main light in the room, very dusty, air con barely worked
we had a fantastic stay always very welcoming fantastic food super friendly staff lovely rooms
Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet, die Netten bequem, die Lage ist super.
Nice and clean
Nice balcony and rooftop bar
Great central location Nice decor Very comfortable, spacious room
Clean, spacious lots of storage
An excellent 'designer' room, with great art and a huge bed. The location is super central and the room was great value for one night, we would have stayed for a second night but it was 3 times more so you can get a bargain but only sometimes.
The rooftop cocktail bar wasn't that great and pretty pricey - could have done with a better range of better cocktails. The normal bar downstairs was fine though - watched Belgium in the world cup and they got a good result.
Great hotel in an excellent location. We stayed in a suite, and it was absolutely worth the extra cost… spacious, comfortable, and finished to a high standard. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud; one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. The hotel is perfectly situated for shopping and is only a short walk from Victoria Station, making it ideal for exploring Manchester. The staff were welcoming, and the overall experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return.
Location & staff
Great location helpful staff very nice room and good value
Lovely room very comfortable & spacious. Everything you need to store clothing etc, coffee machine a nice touch good range of tea & coffee in room. Comfortable bed. Beautiful roof top bar with attentive staff. Great location.
Only gripe was our room 410 was right next to a staff cleaning store. Staff were constantly in and out with the door slamming behind them including at late hours waking us up. Everytime it slammed shut it also caused our room door to judder. I’d stay at this hotel again but not in a room next to a store room again, if I was I’d refuse that room. I would have informed reception on check out but we were never asked how our stay was.
Lovely staff. Fabulous location Liked the 2 for 1 cocktail voucher. good rooftop bar
Great hotel with a lovely bar upstairs with balcony, staff were friendly and helpful, as always Malmaison never lets you down.
Nothing to comment on
Staff couldn't do enough to ensure our stay went well! Amazing breakfast, top quality ingredients used.
Very poor lighting in bedroom
Lighting. Offered drinks vouchers instead of room cleaning but very limited drinks available for this deal which wasn’t made clear!
Room decor was incredible. Never stayed anywhere like it. Worth every penny
Location and staff service.
Room lighting is poor. Mirror is in a particularly gloomy position and bathroom mirror provides inadequate light levels. Try it to see for yourself.
Breakfast.
Music
The shower was very good and simple to use. Breakfast porridge was very tasty and piping hot.
The bathroom sanitary bin had not been emptied from the last guest. The bedroom was dusty. Many herbal teas - but no Earl Grey tea.
Very accommodating. Good location and reasonably priced. Comfortable beds.
N/A. There was nothing we did not like
Rooms were styled well. Location was ideal. Japanese restaurant.
Staff, main bar and grill, food, unable to open windows and aircon noise.
Beautiful hotel , very welcoming , very comfortable bed a a great location for us.

Location
Great location, comfortable room, no issues with any noise from outside, other rooms or cleaners. Would stay again !
Lovely comfortable hotel. Very attentive staff.
New , fresh , all good
Nothing to bother me !
Lovely room, comfy bed and pillows.
There was a faulty bedside light, but this was reported. No extra pillows, so had to ask reception.
Lovely quirky hotel. However would not recommend upgrading the room to one with a 'view' it's a con! Unless you like a view of the next building covered on scaffolding. Even without it, whats the point. Also there are 2 lifts but only one goes to the rooms. You would expect staff on reception to tell you, otherwise you will spend time going up and down wondering why it's not stopping on your floor.
The con to upgrade to a view. Lack of communication on reception.
Good location and the air conditioning worked in the second room we moved to. It was during a heatwave.
Only replaced one towel dispute it being obvious two people were staying. Not very clean. But the worst bit was being ripped off by an incompetent bar staff on the rooftop bar. Check what you are paying for!!
Location was great. Staff were friendly and the rooms were great.
Could have better lighting in rooms. Bathroom smelt of drains .
Was on the first floor basic room, was noisy could hear every tram going past, people walking above
Stylish
All good
It was a beautiful room, great sleep and perfect location.
My partner could see the dust on the art above the bed. I have dusty allergies and was sneezing quite a bit. Other than that I liked the room
Beautifull room! The shower wash phenominal! Fantastic breakfast!
Booked a room with a veiw did not get a goid veiw
