Fellpack House

This was our first stay here. What a find. A warm welcome upon arrival. We were shown to our room. This was nicely decorated, well furnished and spotless. The location is very central with good access to the town centre or the lake. The lounge and library areas are very cosy and a good place to relax. There is also a boot room, kept nice and warm, for removing muddy boots or drying waterproofs etc. Breakfast freshly prepared and very good. A great way to start the day. My wife and i enjoyed a fabulous stay at this wonderful accommodation. We'll be back.

Car park could be a little larger, that's all.

How close it was to keswick main street and the on-site parking. The breakfast was unbelievable and the staff couldn't do enough to help a brilliant place to stay in the centre of Keswick.

The room was very hot and even with the window open it was pretty uncomfortable.

Car park is small and very tight. Just been picky to be honest given they have asked. Everything about the B&B is awesome.

Location was perfect for the town centre and for the boat launch with off road parking. Breakfast was of a high standard. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were lovely.

We've stayed at this hotel a couple of times and will stay again. The location, with car park, is excellent. The staff are friendly and efficient. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is really good.

Beautiful room with stunning views across the park and to the mountains beyond. Very short walk to Derwentwater and to the middle of town. Incredible breakfast. Homemade cookies were delicious. Everything was very clean. Staff were lovely.

Really lovely hotel very centrally located. Room was gorgeous. Good quality bedding and linens. Staff were so lovely and friendly. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. You won’t be hungry for the rest of the day. Their sister restaurant is also great. Very well trained staff and lush food.

Everything! It’s far enough from the centre to avoid noise and bustle but close enough to be in amongst the bars and shops in two minutes. The property is amazingly restored with stunning attention to detail which shows from the first glimpses of the exterior right down to top quality napkins and soaps. This place is No.1!!! The staff are exceptional! We were met by Jodie who was a lovely, funny and friendly lady who was such a great host, breakfast the next morning was served by an absolute gentleman! We love this place.

This is our 4th stay at this wonderful B&B. The standards are still magnificent across the board. The staff are amazing,The breakfasts are great, and the hotel decor is still pristine throughout. Loved the place & can't praise it highly enough. The hotel was beautiful - stylishly & sensitively renovated, with some very attractive touches. There is a small library/quiet room, for example, which is lined with very interesting vintage books. The bathroom facilities gleamed & were very chic - lovely natural colour scheme including bronze wand-type showerheads. The food was exceptional, offering a good range of dishes for vegetarians, all presented beautifully. My favourite breakfast was Feta with sunblush tomatoes on smashed avocado & spinach, all on sourdough toast - see pic. Particularly impressive were the personal touches, such as fresh hand-baked biscuits in each room daily and Greek yoghurt pots at breakfast, with fruit compote & home -made granola. The staff were warm and friendly and there was a real rense of their being interested and committed in their roles.

The only thing that could have improved our stay was to have had one of the larger rooms, as we were travelling on & a bit cramped with all of the luggage/bags.

This property is really a standout. The room is large and beautifully decorated with expansive views of the mountains through the front windows of the bedroom, and mountains out of the back of the building through the bathroom window. The bathroom was luxurious with a large bath and shower.

I usually don’t put anything in this category because I know people try hard to make things nice, but this place really has nothing wrong with it. Everything about it feels great.

Everything, room, people, decor, breakfast. We were attending a performance in the theatre and Fellpack was just a short walk down the road.

The only slight downside was limited parking but we found a free space at the front of the hotel. Parking is always an issue in the Lake District.

All pre-paid breakfast was served individually when you sat down. I prefer juices, coffee, cereal etc to be self serve. Being top floor up 3 flights was a bit of a pain.

Beautiful building in a picturesque location and the perfect start to a long walk in the hills for us! The staff were so kind and made us feel very welcome. Great breakfast. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again if coming back to Keswick.

Staff are all kind, in particular, there is a male staff member who is knowledgeable about all hiking and walking routes. They provided us with a map, although we did not ask! Breakfast was great, and we could choose from the menu. We had a great active holiday.

Tasty and well served breakfast in a pleasant setting. Our room was nicely decorated and very cozy and relaxing with an enjoyable view of the mountain. The bed was large and comfortable with nice linens. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and competent.

More shelf and/or counter space in the bathroom would be appreciated.

You get what you pay for and this hotel was fantastic. We had a very nice twin room (up 4 flights of stairs mind you) in a trendy dark green décor. The linen, fittings, toiletries etc were all of a high standard. The was a nespresso machine with 4 pods, coffee, tea and even some homemade cookies. It was a medium sized room. Wifi was fine. The fried breakfast was the best of the week – top quality ingredients and cheffy touches like diced chives on the eggs.

At £183 for one night (including x2 breakfast) this was the most expensive of the 3 pub/hotel I booked this week. The ‘cupboard’ toilet-and-waterfall shower was tiny.

The room was very warm even with the window open. I realize that the weather was extremely hot for the time of year. The radiator was on in the room and it was in the high 20’s low 30’s outside. We managed to have it turned off and they gave us a fan that certainly helped

A fabulous place to stay! Close to shops, pubs and restaurants as well as lovely walks. Breakfast was generous with plenty of choice and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and very clean with a very comfortable bed.

We couldn't have asked for a better stay in Keswick! From the moment we walked through the doors we knew we'd made the right choice to stay at Fellpack. The staff were so lovely, very welcoming and attentive to all our needs. Our room was perfect – very clean, tidy, and the decor choices were super tasteful! Breakfast was brilliant, definitely a great way to set you up for a busy day hiking or exploring the lakes and coming back to home-baked cookies in the afternoon set a new bar for accommodation for me! We had a wonderful time and I can't think of a reason I'd every stay anywhere else if I visited the lakes! Thank you so much for a fab stay <3

The *only* thing we think could've improved the room was having a little more storage/surfaces to have our things out.

The rooms are beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with in-room facilities for tea/coffee etc. The hotel is in a relatively quiet area of Keswick which means you’re guaranteed a good night’s rest and the adjacent car park takes away the hassle of trying to find a space in this often busy town. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and the added bonus of being able to look out over the fells while you eat. However, the thing that sets Fellpack apart from their competitors is its service. Everyone that we have encountered at the hotel has been welcoming and pleasant with genuine friendliness that never appears forced. I thoroughly recommend staying at this hotel and we will certainly be back. Thank you.
