The property was located easy walking distance to Keswick and shops and restaurants. Staff were helpful and breakfast was great.

The parking if you stayed more than overnight would be a challenge but not worth discounting a great property from the list.

Het is best een oubollig hotel met een verouderde badkamer. De douche liep niet goed door. Er is een parking maar je moet geluk hebben (ongeveer 4 plaatsen).

Great location short distance from town center. The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly. Parking is limited by w did manage to get a space, there is a short and long term car park 2 min walk away, overnight parking is cheap.

We had luggage so the stairs were difficult.

Some parts of interior here and there might be a bit outdated (although take price per night into account and it is well worth it), the way Dan (and the rest of the team of course) runs this place makes it a whole different level of hospitality. I even had to ask the guy whether he is employee or owns the place, because he cares so much about everyone's comfort and does a dozen of jobs at the same time. This makes your stay here worth much more.

Noisy road, over cooked breakfast.

Doucheputje was volledig verstopt, dusdanig dat, als je de douche schoonmaakt, je dit direct merkt. Trek zelf je conclusies maar. Personeel niet service gericht en totaal ongeinteresseerd. Koffie bij ontbijt nooit gekregen, ook niet na nogmaals vragen. Geen aanrader dus.

Excellent location just outside the town centre. The market place is a five minute walk away all the shops, restaurants, bars etc are on the doorstep. Fantastic breakfast with a choice of juice, yoghurts and serials followed by a very good choice of cooked breakfast. The staff I spoke to were all very helpful, polite and friendly.

In honesty a bit of a general spruce up wouldn't go amiss, particularly in the bathroom of the room we stayed in. There was also a little traffic noise as the window overlooked the main road but nothing too bad. I would suggest the car parking arrangements are mentioned on the website. There is a small car at the hotel with space for 5 vehicles but it is a real challenge. If the car park is full then the only real alternative is to park in one of the long term car parks, some of which are a fair distance from the hotel.

The ladies made our stay, the breakfast was to die for, the rooms were spotless and the staff were soooo friendly, couldn't ask for more, thank you ladies .

Die Unterkunft liegt schön zentral in Keswick. Da wir nur zur Durchreise da waren, konnten wir Keswick nicht näher erkunden. Das Hotel ist ein sehr schönes historisches Gebäude. Unser Zimmer war einfach und etwas in die Jahre gekommen, es fehlte aber an nichts. Das Personal war freundlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt im Keswick Park Hotel.

The location was very close to the centre of Keswick. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very attentive. Bed was very comfy.

The hotel is surrounded by busy roads and a pelican crossing. As a light sleeper I had to purchase ear plugs to ensure a good night sleep which fortunately worked.

Needed More selection of fruit at breakfast. Bedroom was a bit dated bathroom needed attention and shower was poor. Also a piece of net at bottom half of window as looked straight over to other buildings.

Das Einzelzimmer war sehr klein. Auch das Bad. Ich würde nochmals im Hotel übernachten, dann aber in einem anderen Zimmer. Es war leise, man konnte gut schlafen. Das Frühstück war gut, das Personal sehr freundlich. Eine Parkplatz für das Motorrad hatten sie auch, schön versteckt hinter den anderen Autos.

Die Zimmer sind sauber, ein wenig verlebt. Auf dem Schrank und hinter dem TV müsste mal abgestaubt werden. Da es sehr wenig Ablageflächen und Hängemöglichkeiten hat, habe ich den Helm und den Tankrucksack auf den Schrank gelegt. Die waren unten anschliessend ganz schön staubig.

Minor, but no toilet brush in the bathroom. Miss Jean Brodie serving breakfast took time to get our head's around, but she was very polite and well mannered, if a tad blunt! ;)))

The staff were friendly and the hotel was nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Checking in and out was very easy.

Unfortunately, the hotel is a little dated and does need sprucing up a little bit.

Felt a bit antiquated, the rooms obviously didn’t have aircon being a Victorian building but the fan was useful in the room. Not great in a heatwave/ quite stifling.

The hotel is conveniently sited just a five minute walk to Keswick Town Centre. It was spotlessly clean throughout, the staff were excellent very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast menu was extensive, and really set us up for the day. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuite was lovely.

Our room had been sectioned to make an ensuite which did leave parts of the bedroom dark, perhaps brighter electric lights would make all the difference. The window overlooked a flat roof with discarded cigarette butts on, but as we didn't stay in the room during the day it wasn't a great problem but it's not very nice to look out on. The chef on the first day was excellent but the relief chef was not quite up to his standards.

Breakfast poor choice, cooked breakfast fine. Melon tasteless and no other choice of fruit. No granola and only 2 yogurt left. Had to ask staff to refill jug of water etc, never seemed to check this themselves and stuff was replenished. No pastries or croissants like you get elsewhere. No contact number after 9pm when we discovered we had no ‘remote’ for tv, quite an inconvenience.

The bathroom - oldish, bath is difficult to get into and out of if you have reduced mobility. The chairs in the breakfast area need an upgrade, as all other furniture in rooms. No AC but a small fan is provided, no lift, no fridge in the room.

The room was excessively hot, blinds had been left open in full sun with no ventilation for the whole day before we checked in. The shower cubicle was not as clean as I would have liked

The location is excellent, near the center yet quiet and serene. The place is wonderfully old fashioned.

I couldn't connect to the wifi and the staff was unable to solve the problem. I've visited multiple hotels in the UK and always connected easily.

The staff were amazing, really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Our room was very spacious and the beds very comfortable.

My only criticism would be that the room could have done with a bit of tlc.

Room 11 toilet didn't flush and got backed up. Reported the issue and they attempted to fix it 24hrs later than first reported but broke again instantly . Car parking was limited and very tight. Air fan was welcome as no Aircon and it was a very hot weekend but it was very noisy.

The breakfast was ok but not what we had expected after reading some of the reviews. The staff were brilliant especially the young man on reception he was very helpful.

For the three nights that we stayed there, we had to make up the room ourselves, had to go and get fresh towels, empty the bin, no cleaning staff. No fresh bedding.

I’ve stayed there on a number of occasions and always found it an excellent venue as well as good value for money.

Staff were amazing. Especially Jean, what an amazing woman she was. Nothing was too much trouble! She is the main reason we will use this hotel if ever we come back to Keswick.

It was 30 deg outside but our bathroom radiator was on full belt. Didn’t realise at first but the room was absolutely stifling, we felt sick. I tried to turn it off but the control knob just spun round and round. I went downstairs to complain but the manager wasn’t in and owner lives in China. Bar lad said he couldn’t help and no other room to move to. I asked for an adjustable spanner to try to turn the isolation valve off. All he could find me was a pair of pliers. After a sweaty struggle I got the valve closed and slowly the radiator cooled. The room stayed hot all night and we didn’t sleep. If I hadn’t paid in advance we would have left. I think a refund is in order. Also the hotel is tired and not the cleanest. There was no toilet brush and there was matted hair in the sink plug hole. (It’s probably still there).

The room was large and light. Our room was in the old part of the building and had character. The breakfasts were fabulous and the staff were polite and friendly. The location was excellent, near the centre, walking distance to everything Keswick had to offer.

The only down side was the shower, it was rubbish, like standing in the rain (although always hot). We have a small car and had one of the very limited number of parking spaces. Otherwise it would have been road or paid car parking.

TV didn't work pointless having it ! There was a little ariel plugged in ,which didn't work. WiFi was poor. They advertise car park but it was useless, only very small cars could fit in it and they struggled to park !! and there was only 4 spaces.

All the breakfasts were cooked to order and the choice was very good. Fruit and cereals were also on offer and the choice of juices, tea and coffee.

Large window in our room which was great for the mountain view but it made the very difficult to keep cool. A fan was provided but was insufficient to cool the room by 'bed time'.

Lovely. I am vegan. I had a bowl of porridge made with oat milk. Yum! Mum doesn"t eat a lot and doesn't like to waste food. The hotel provided just what Mum requested.

The bed was awful, to the point that neither myself or my husband got hardly any sleep. I also got a bad back from the bed. The mattress was so uncomfortable. The staff were unable to move us to another room but did their best to try to make it more comfortable with mattress toppers but in all honesty it needs replacing. The shower pump seemed to be on its last legs & there was evidence of previous leaks on the ceiling.

Old hotel so no lift but we were on first floor so it didn't matter. Some grab rails in the bathroom would help some older guests. The bar shuts a bit early and breakfast finishes a bit early.

More like a guest house than a hotel. Reception not open till 3pm. No restaurant or bar open. Very old fashioned, creaking floorboards and paper thin walls. Plug in air freshners all over creating sickly smell.

Perfect location, we came to do Keswick Parkrun which starts only 5 minutes away, friendly and accomodating staff and a lovely homemade breakfast.

Nothing, was perfect for our needs

I had a nice, big, bright room overlooking the city and the mountains in the distance. The location of the hotel is very good. There is a car park but my big car didn't fit into the remaining narrow slots at the deep end of the carpark so I couldn't really use it. The lady who helped me with check in and also in charge of breakfast is super nice and helpful. She makes you feel truly welcome and helped. The location of the hotel is amazing, can't be better than that. It is not a luxury or cool place in anyways but delivers what it promise properly. Hence the top score from me.

Breakfast wasn't exciting for me but it is decent breakfast and included in the price.
