The place is perfect for family with kids, we loved.

Because I don't like strong smell, the reception was stronger smell, but it is personal preference.

Een mooie plek aan het water met gebruik van tuin, supboards en kano's. De kamer was ruim met een fijn bed. Ook de badkamer was ruim. Overal in huis zitjes maar ook op de kamer fijne stoelen.

Er is behoorlijk wat achterstallig onderhoud. In de badkamer alleen een groot bad, geen douche. Het was erg warm in het pand. Airco maakt veel herrie. Verder was er nog iets dat dreunend lawaai maakte, irritant. De gezamenlijke keuken/eetzaal is rommelig.

Couldn’t open room window. Front staff was barely there so couldn’t ask for help, towels etc. Lake area was clean but highway close by so not as tranquil as it looks. No fan in the bathroom and mirror was hot so the room became very stuffy.

The property is truly wonderful: located right in front of the lake, with the possibility of using canoes and kayaks whenever you like. When booking, I requested a lake-view room, and my request was accommodated. The room was fantastic—huge, with a mini fridge, a coffee machine, a large and comfortable bed, and a very spacious bathroom. But the best part was the setting where the house is located, completely surrounded by nature.

It was certainly an accidental incident, but one night the fire alarm went off at around 3 a.m. Since there is no staff on site, we didn’t know who to contact or what was happening. Fortunately, it stopped almost immediately, and we were able to go back to sleep.

Un cadre naturel magnifique et paisible, bien plus agréable que les logements ou motels situés directement face à la route. • Confort et calme : Chambre propre avec un lit particulièrement grand et très confortable. Logés au dernier étage, nous n'avions aucun voisin au-dessus : le séjour a été parfaitement reposant. Pas de bruit extérieur, etc. • Propreté et règles de vie : Tout l'établissement et les espaces communs sont très bien entretenus. On retire ses chaussures à l'entrée pour garder les lieux impeccables (prévoyez des chaussons ou claquettes d'intérieur). Présence d'espaces communs conviviaux, dont un piano. • Salle de bain & Équipements complets : Très bonne pression d'eau ! C'est la seule fois de notre séjour au Canada où nous avons eu un véritable pommeau de douche à main amovible (comme en Europe) plutôt qu'une pomme fixe au mur, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. La baignoire à jets était large et fonctionnait à merveille. Produits de toilette (gel douche, shampoing), sèche-cheveux, réfrigérateur et micro-ondes également fournis. • Activités et stationnement : Parking facile sur place et mise à disposition d'activités gratuites sur le lac, un vrai plus ! • Accueil et flexibilité : La personne en charge gérant aussi les activités extérieures, les clés étaient prêtes sur le comptoir à notre arrivée pour un check-in fluide et autonome. L'hôte est ensuite venu nous saluer en personne avec beaucoup de gentillesse et a discuté avec nous. Une superbe adresse au bord de l'eau, propre, reposante et généreuse en prestations. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Ce sont plutôt des pistes d'amélioration ou informations car nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour : • Accessibilité : Aucun ascenseur dans la structure, les étages se montent uniquement par escalier. Cela ne nous a pas dérangés, mais c'est à anticiper pour les personnes à mobilité réduite ou avec de très gros bagages. • Salle de bain : La baignoire est large et agréable, mais l'ajout d'un rideau de douche permettrait d'éviter les projections d'eau debout. Le plafond suspendu est peut-être moins adapté pour l'humidité à terme, sans impact sur notre confort.

Die Lage vom Hotel direkt am See ist gut. Huntsville mit vielen Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen.

Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Unser Zimmer (deluxe) war von der Grösse ok, aber das war es auch schon. Beim Bett hat man gehofft, dass es frisch bezogen war, auch wenn die Bettwasche aussah als hätte jemand 2 Tage schon drin gelegen. Badezimmer in die Jahre gekommen. Die Schuhe mussten am Empfang gegen Gummiklappen getauscht werden, eigentlich ok, aber alles Schuhboxen, Gummiklappen etc. wirkten nicht ansprechend. Was leider auch für die Gemeinschaftsküche und Dining room zutrifft. Die ganze Unterkunft ist eher wie ein besseres Hostel; für ca. 248€ die Nacht zu teuer.

Soon as we arrived so welcoming! They over did themselves we got lovely upgrade on are room and the veiw is absolutely perfect waterfront view cant ask for anything more. They have everything you can ask for for two people that love water activities they sure have it. I would recommend. The rooms are spacious and beds are so comfortable. Thankk you so much.

Die Lage am See war unglaublich schön. Es gab Boote und SUPs, die man frei benutzen konnte und es gab einen Steg, auf dem man sitzen konnte.

Für vier Personen war das Zimmer etwas eng, aber es ging.

Ualmindelig ringe internet. Affald lå i store mængder og flød på terrassen i de dage vi var der. Køleskab i køkkenrum fungerede ikke. Ligeledes kunne et vindue i værelset ikke lukkes og man måtte ikke gå ind i huset med sko på selv om hele huset i den grad trængte til en renovering.

Die ruhige Lage direkt am See. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war gut.

Die Zimmer und die Außenanlage sind in die Jahre gekommen. An sich hat die Anlage großes Potenzial, wenn sie besser gepflegt und renoviert werden würde. Auch die Sauberkeit, vor allem im Bad, war nicht so gut. Leider war sowohl bei der Ankunft, als auch bei der Abreise kein Personal anzutreffen. Die Zimmerkarte lag für alle zugänglich am Tresen. Die Haupteingangstür war auch nachts geöffnet.

Sehr schöne Lage am See. Zwei bequeme Sessel am Fenster. Kostenloser Parkplatz an der Lodge.

Ein Fenster konnte nicht mehr geschlossen werden, nachdem es geöffnet war. Leider fehlt ein Wasserkocher. Es gab weder Besteck noch Teller, falls man auf dem Zimmer essen wollte. Generell war es nur zur Übernachtung ausgerichtet.

Amit went above and beyond to create a welcoming experience for my visit at Fairy Bay. He allowed a late check in and ensured I had everything I needed when I arrived, he also helped me with accommodations in Algonquin Park afterwards. The best hospitality I’ve experienced in a while! Beautiful property & lake views, fully stocked with fishing gear, kayaks a bbq and fire pit. Will definitely be back!

Großzügiges Zimmer mit schöner Einrichtung. Tolle Lage am See.

Die herzliche Aufnahme und wunderschöne Lage des Lakehouse an einem eigenen Abschnitt des Sees fanden wir toll. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet, unser Zimmer hatte einen kleinen Kühlschrank und die Möglichkeit, Kaffee zu kochen. Die Sessel waren besonders bequem und es war entspannend, auf dem Deck über den See zu schauen und den Wind in den Haaren zu spüren.

It is in a fantastic location, direct beach accessed, onsite parking and close to Huntville. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the fridge and microwave were a nice addition

The beach and gardens were nice but needed more maintenance, I understand we are in nature but there was A LOT of animal poo on the beach and grass, you had to pick your way walking not to step on it. There is a shed that houses outdoor games - badminton, golf, boules etc, however you couldn’t play them as there were items missing from each. Shuttlecock, golf club, boules small ball. There is a no shoes indoor policy which is great but even so there is a lot of noise transfer when people are walking around upstairs. The pictures online are misleading regarding the shared kitchen. The photos you see belong to the Muskoka suite, the shared kitchenette is tiny and actually very run down, unlike the rest of the property, the fridge was out of order, there was a microwave oven but no hob, which was a shame as we were hoping to cook for the family.

We had a wonderful stay. The property is set in a beautiful lakeside location close to Algonquin Park, with plenty of comfortable spots to sit, relax, and enjoy the views. Being right on the lake made it feel especially peaceful, and the canoes and paddleboards provided were a fantastic bonus, giving us a great way to explore the water and make the most of the surroundings. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway and a perfect base for exploring the area around Algonquin Park.

We didn’t have any issues during our stay. The only thing worth mentioning is that the mosquitoes were quite active around the lake, but that’s simply part of being in a beautiful natural setting and likely reflects the time of year rather than anything the host can control. If anything, a few extra citronella candles or bug zappers around the outdoor seating areas could be a nice addition for future guests. That said, this is a very minor point and didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the stay.

Really appreciated access to the water and watercraft.

The safety lock on the door gave us some grief. Would have been nice to be able to open the windows.

Enormous apartment overlooking the lake with its own balcony. Everything was provided for a comfortable stay with plentiful towels, toiletries and kitchenware. It was a shame the weather prevented us using the canoes.

Die Lage direkt am See ist wirklich traumhaft. Es ist eine ruhige Gegend, sehr idyllisch. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür.

Die Ausstattung, bzw. die Sauberkeit der Gemeinschaftsküche war leider grauenhaft. Der Schwamm mit dem man das Geschirr abwaschen sollte war ekelhaft, auch das einzige Geschirrtuch wurde 3 Tage nicht ausgetauscht. Man konnte auch keine frischen Tücher und Schwämme finden. Auch rund um das Gelände lag überall sehr viel Müll. Das fand ich sehr schade.

On the Lake was amazing. The potential of the property is great. Rooms with comfortable beds and white linens are welcoming along with themed accents based on room name, despite lower basement ceilings. There are a couple common rooms that are nice. There is an area that has tables and I think at one time had a nice hospitality area. Now all that is left is the toaster, and an ice machine It would be great if there was an electric tea kettle and probably nice to have cream for coffee.

An overall lacklustre , old garbage in the parking area and around the property. Minimal welcome after initial enthusiastic emails. No one on site at all. Basement suite, missed that in the description, with window cranks missing, so couldn’t get a little fresh air into room. My toilet may have had a cracked wax seal as there was a sewage odour, I just kept bathroom door closed, mostly it was fine. I’ve been to 6 similar style hotels on this trip and this one , despite the amazing lake it’s on, was lacking, sadly.

It was SPOTLESS and had everything we needed to make our getaway just perfect. Really appreciated a microwave in our room as well as a fridge and the fancy coffee machine too

Would have appreciated a piece of paper in the room re: check out times, what to do with the FOB.

The view from the room over the lake was extraordinarily beautiful as well as the design and decor of the room fit well with the surroundings.

The cleanliness was ok, under the table were a few dust bunnies and the floor in general was dusty. The bedroom and bathroom were clean. The biggest problem were mice in the ventilation system as they were the whole night in our bedroom therefore we couldn’t sleep.

The property was a hidden gem . Very clean, relaxing, smelt great. Beautiful view definitely I’ll stay there again and take advantage of everything they have to offer.

Lovely clean warm property

I’m extremely disappointed with my stay. I had specifically booked and paid extra for the Superior King Room with a lake view, but upon arrival, the hotel gave us a Deluxe King Room instead. Not only was this a downgrade, but it also completely defeated the purpose of why we chose this property in the first place. When I raised the issue, there was no proper explanation or effort to correct the mistake. Paying extra for a certain room category and not receiving it feels dishonest and unacceptable. I expected much better service and transparency. When guests pay extra for a specific room type, it’s only fair to deliver on that promise. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously so future guests receive the rooms they book and pay for.

Amazing location. Amazing manager. Very quiet and Peaceful and manager went above and beyond… We caught some crazy big fish….. and got way more service than we expected. More like free trust..thank You

The lakehouse was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with large windows offering amazing lake views. The quiet surroundings and easy access to the water made it a perfect place to relax. We also enjoyed the cozy seating areas inside and outside.

We noticed some mosquito marks and insect remains on the wall, which would be better if cleaned before guests move in. The washing machine‘s room light wasn’t working, and a few appliances could benefit from maintenance. Additionally, footsteps from the upstairs area were quite noticeable at night and sometimes woke us up.

It was a beautiful location, and we appreciated having the option of using the shared kitchen and dining area. Good to know that it’s not suitable for cooking, as there is no stove. We also really appreciated the good communication with the general manager.

On one of the floors there is a piano, which is a nice addition. However, it can sometimes cause some noise disturbance when other guests play it. Perhaps a small solution could be considered so that everyone can fully enjoy the peace and quiet.

Belle maison très bien située en bordure directe du lac, avec une plage privée et une belle aire de jeux pour les enfants. Chambre confortable avec plusieurs pièces communes et une tisanerie. Grand calme Localisation à quelques km du centre ville de Huntsville avec toutes les commodités, et pas trop loin de Algonquin Parc pour pouvoir y retourner.

Pas de présence sur place de personnel le week-end, en cas de difficultés, mais ayant trouvé un contact, le petit problème a pu être résolu rapidement

Fantastic stay, management was very accommodating with last minute changes (arrived earlier than expected) and showed us around the facilities with great professionalism. Lots of space and the field area was beautiful. Very conveniently located near Algonquin Park and attractions.

Our window was broken and didn't realize until night time and it was very cold in the room as the heat wasn't working. I would suggest not having such a strong smell of air freshener in the front entrance, it was quite strong.

A good place to stay if you want to discover the Algonquin Park and area, love to stay a bit remote, but still close to a village. Nice atmosphere and helpful staff. Pretty much a 'help yourself' place, but with the comfort of a staff on call if you need them.,

The shared living room is a nice spot, but don't expect a great view on the lake. It's located on the other side. The staff isn't around 24/7, but you can call them at any time. Just something to take note of, if you appreciate that kind of hospitality.

The location is great, right on the lake with a beach and kayaks etc available. The beds were extremely comfortable so we slept well.

No breakfast options, but we wanted to get breakfast in Huntsville anyway so it didn't bother us. You have to drive to get to there but again, this was fine for us.

Perfect rustige locatie aan het meer, heerlijke tuin, strandje met stoelen, BBQ en ook kano's en sup board, en natuurlijk eekhoorns. Het is geen hotel maar een heerlijk huis aan het meer met gezamenlijke keuken en 2 woonkamers met fijn stoelen. Huntsville en Algonquin Park dichtbij. Amit is altijd bereikbaar voor vragen.

De gezamenlijke keuken kan een upgrade gebruiken. Verder niets.
