The breakfast was very good, lots of choice and well presented. We liked the location, close to the metro and walking distance to a lot of the main attractions.

We didn't like the casualness of the hotel. It didn't give a feeling of 5* luxury. Just too cool and funky for us oldies.

The hotel location is great, very central. The room was spacious and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast had a vast selection and the food quality was very good. The view on the roof top breakfast area had great views of the acropolis. The hotel arranged for all our transportation and visits to the temple of Poseidon. A beautiful experience and the car and driver were very good.

I did not like that the air condition turn off when one leaves the room. When I get to the room at night it is to a hot ( it was summer) room that took quite a while to cool down. The check out time was 11. That does not give one enough time after breakfast to chill and check the room if say the check out time was at 12 pm. But faced with a no extended check out I asked for the luggage to be brought down before heading to breakfast. At 10:30 I headed back to the room for a final check and found that housekeeping was cleaning it even though I had time before I had to vacate the room.

Great location & rooftop. Comfortable rooms!

You have to book sun lounges at the pool which is a fair system as it’s a small area and a busy hotel I just wish I’d known before I got there.

The hotel space is beautifully designed. The rooms are greatly equipped with excellent toiletries. The executive lounge is a definite must with really helpful staff and great snacks/drinks. A great pool space if a little squashed in. It is located in a great part of central Athens.

Very minor but maybe the outdoor space in the executive lounge area could be a little nicer - seems it’s a little bit of an after thought.

הצפיפות , הרעש בכל מקום , החדר שלנו היה מתחת לחדר האוכל והחל משעה 5 בבוקר ועד 2 בלילה היו רעשים של גרירת עגלות . חבטות של ריהוט הבריכה בגג צפופה מדי ביחס לכמות האנשים במלון .

Staff were friendly at check in

Bit too close to Ominia. Breakfast was taken away right on 10.30 weekdays and 11am on weekends. Not a minute past the times. Had to wait to get coffee served Pool to shallow and in the shade.

The view from the pool is amazing but the pool itself is not great for kids. Much more of an adult vibe at the pool area than I thought. But kids still loved it and I could not get enough of the view

We were a little disappointed with the spa area as the pool was really small compared to the other NYX hotels we have stayed at.

I had a lot of noise from the bar at the 10th floor (slept in the 9th), so it was pretty hard to sleep. And there was noises at the morning from the cleaning staff outside the room, it was close to them.

The breakfast was excellent ( although I did have wasps keep trying to land on my table, which was unpleasant, but not sure if the hotel could do anything about that). We really enjoyed the location, most especially we were really impressed with the bar/restaurant when we arrived in the evening on sunset and seeing the view of the Acropolis was insane!!!!

I was annoyed that the hotel put us in room with one bed, when I'd specifically booked and prepaid for a twin room ( for myself and my teenage son). They were very hesitant to find us a room we had asked for and said they cannot guarantee a specific room! This made me quite cross, as I had specifically searched for a hotel that could give us a twin room, I'd booked and paid for twin room 25 sqm. They reluctantly put us in a room with two beds that were literally pushed up against each other, so not really sure how that was any different, and it wasnt a Deluxe Space Room that I had paid for, but a smaller room. I asked in the morning what they were going to do about it, and the manager was lovely and arranged our Taxi to Rafina Port, which was very nice. But consequently the room was tiny. Albeit the facilities/ bathroom etc were lovely.

I look the scenery from the pool and restaurant. I would most definitely visit it again

La habitación pequeña, el bufet muy pequeño no podiamos movernos en septiembre, no quiero imaginar lo que ha tenido que ser en agosto. Como no tenian sitio nos ofrecieron subir a la terraza a desayunar y subir y bajar con los platos y bebidas, todo por falta de organización del personal, porque mesas habia libres sin limpiar aun con restos de los anteriores. Ademas no esta tan cerca del acrópolis como parece en las fotos, la piscina NO ES PISCINA, es una charca que cubre por las rodillas, y que para disfrutar de las vistas tienes que colocarte en una cama balinesa de consumo minimo de 300€. El resto de hamacas niran a las chimeneas de los edificios. Por ultimo las camas/ almohadas, fatal, dolor de cuello y lunbares dura te la estancia.

The Nyx is a quirky modern hotel. Staff were very helpful. There is a great view of the Acropolis from the rooftop bar and breakfast terrace. Good central location. Highly recommend.

We loved the location, cleanliness of room, & rooftop restaurant views. Very convenient. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The spa was fantastic!!

I did not like paying for a glass of water then finding out the whole bottle was mine and was not told. I did not like the crowded pool area. Did not want to schedule a time to go for a swim. There was a waiting list! We did not care for the food at the rooftop restaurant.

Todas las actividades que puedes hacer dentro del hotel. Tienes muchos beneficios y hay muchas cosas que hacer. La cama amplia y cómoda, las almohadas lo mejor de todo. El personal es muy atento y amable. Especial agradecimiento a Zeta, un encanto de mujer! La piscina del lounge es larga pero no cubre, profundidad de 0,50m lo justo para chapotear, las vistas son increíbles eso sí. El bufete del desayuno muy variado y con opciones de calidad.

Estuvimos en la planta 8 (debajo del bufete) por la mañana nos despertamos con el ruido del movimiento de las sillas durante el desayuno. Poca insonorización.

L’accueil notamment au lounge buisiness avec un personnel au petit soin. La situation géographique idéale avec une magnifique vue sur l’acropole ainsi que la ville. Un excellent petit déjeuner très variée et de bonne qualité. La modernité de l’hôtel avec sa decoration.

La piscine sur le toit petite et restrictive sur l’accès. Les prix un peu élevé au rooftop.

The location was perfect for exploring Athens. It was so clean, comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. We had wonderful views of the Acropolis while eating breakfast.

Emplacement central mais extrêmement bruyant même les fenêtres fermées, de fait les balcons sont peu utilisés L’organisation du petit déjeuner, où il faut patienter pour avoir une table, beaucoup de monde, bruyant La piscine est accessible sur réservation de créneaux ce qui n’est pas précisé au moment de la réservation De manière globale, les espaces communs ne sont pas en capacité d’accueillir un nombre aussi important de chambres. Attente permanente aux ascenseurs. Des minimums de dépenses sont demandés pour le restaurant. Durant notre séjour, clientèle relativement bruyante et sans gêne, y compris dans les couloirs la nuit, sans qu’aucun rappel ne soit fait par le personnel notamment autour de la piscine.

Genuinely the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in! It felt luxury from the moment you arrived in reception and the staff were all wonderful. The rooftop pool and restaurant have great food and panoramic views of the city

Good location that was 15-20 mins walk to the Acropolis hill, Plaka for shopping, Temple of Zeus and gardens. Hotel was trendy with great feel and staff were always exceptionally helpful. Good view of the Parthenon on the hill and beautiful in the evenings. Safe neighbourhood that was easy to walk out from in the evenings for dinner down the side streets of Athens

Upstairs pool often crowded with kids and noisy and splashy as a result so not worth it I am afraid

The flashing green light was terrible, the noise from the music all night. I was moved from 9 to 8, it wasn’t much better.

Que tuviéramos que reservar las camas de las piscina y que fuera obligado un consumo mínimo. Igual que en el restaurante, si querías primera fila tenías que consumir mínimo 70€ por persona y segunda fila 50€, es decir da igual en la mesa que te sentaras que todas tenían consumo mínimo, siendo restaurante del hotel no veo bien que a los clientes se les tenga que cobrar un consumo mínimo.

אין אופציה למקומות ישיבה בשום מקום במלון חוץ מהחדר אם הבאתם אוכל או שתייה מחוץ למלון אתם לא יכולים לשבת באזורי המלון אלא רק בחדר עוד דבר שלא מצויין בדבר הזמנה מי שרוצה לשבת בבריכה חייב לשלם כסף על מיטה יש מינימום הזמנה של 15 יורו לראש וצריך לשריין מראש מקומות והיא גם מוגבלת ל3 שעות ודבר נוסף אתם לא יכולים להביא איתכם אוכל או שתייה לבריכה וכל דבר יקר מוגזם כאילו זה דובאי בחדר שסגרתי כל הזמן היה הפסקה של המזגן ברמה שישנתי גרוע כל השהות הצוות מאוד לא סבלני ומאוד מתמקח על כל דבר קיצור שירות אין במלון הזה

Excellent hotel in a great central location. The rooms are modern, spotless, comfortable and very well maintained. Breakfast is excellent, rich and varied, with a stunning view of the Acropolis that makes breakfast an experience in itself. Every member of staff we encountered was exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

L’hotel non è pienamente pet friendly, siamo stati allontanati dal roof top dell’hotel perché avevamo con noi un mini poodle toy di solo 1.6 kg.

Everything, the staff is wonderful, the location is perfect, quiet but mints always from the center of everything, the interior is really amazing, breakfast is beyond what you expect.

You need to book specific times for the pool which is very weird. I understand they don’t want the pool to be crowded and messy because they have limited space but they never tell you that until you arrive. I expected being able to use the pool for my child whenever I want especially with the rate I paid, pool was basically a main reason why I booked but in 5 days we got to use it twice.

The bed was very comfortable. Lots of great facilities available to use, sauna, spa, pool and gym. The room was modern and plenty of space for 2.

Our balcony was right up against another building. The restrictions around pool use.

Breakfast came with a great view and many options. Food was fresh and delicious. Staff remembered us which was a nice touch.

Didn't like that the pool chairs had to be reserved for next day and that it came with a minimum spend.
