I like that the property had a hot tub and a pool.
It was no where for guest to park and they have no security to watch your cars.
It’s a great property but I left my pillow and I was led to believe ott could be mailed to me but it hasn’t so I don’t think anyone cared…
Leaving my pillow and being told it would be sent and it wasn’t…
Location, nicely decorated, the art was wonderful, and the bar area was great.
Pillows and bed was hard, hotel staff was not the most friendly, valet parking is ridiculously priced. I thought the rooms were overpriced as well.
Very upscale

The history, the art, the gallery and the Idol Wolf lounge & Bar
The housekeeping department and some of the front desk staff unfortunately let this hotel down. What could have been a good stay was made unbearable by lack of housekeeping . They did not bother to clean room, change sheets or towels or even replace sugar and coffee pods unless I asked and we were there for a whole week . Some of the hotel front desk staff were also rude and did not want to go above the bare minimum to offer any help. Special shout out to Justin and his entire team at the bar and Drummond at the front desk who seem to be the only people who understand what customer service and good hospitality is all about . I also still have not received the hold for incidentals from the charge on my card credited back to my account . I emailed and even that I still dint get a response .
Property is ok. Place is really calm and room was nice. The restaurant and bar has their own unique space. Museum area is artistic.
The pillows a little hard to sleep. Little dusty and some maintenance needed. In our room we have the toilet door knob is needed attention. Looks like it was never been glued or screwed. The pool needs to be cleaned and flooring have to be not slippery it was very dangerous to be there with the child.
I loved that it was clean and beautiful. Love the esthetics

Location was nice and the hotel was nice with art and pool
The bed was awful!! For what it cost to stay there I expected so much more. Also it wasnt as clean as I would expect. There was a used band aid in one of the beds.
The stay was nice. The room was nice. The atmosphere of essentially staying in an art museum was amazing and the staff were amazing as well.
The room was a bit shallow. We had to squeeze to get pass the tv and the bed because they were so close together. So much so, that a guest hit their shoulder on the tv.
Location, facilities are exceptional
The staff were pretty short/rude. It was a hot evening when we checked in. I asked if the AC was working as a joke & the hostess checking us in muttered “it was about only thing that worked in this place”. Not a great first impression.
Great art and spa facilities with swimming pool, whirlpool and saunas.
Valet and the room was very nice
They supplied everything for kuerig coffee but no coffee maker
The maintenance guy was really friendly and apologetic about the various issues we encountered. Nicely appointed.
We encountered multiple problems upon a late check in and trying to get to sleep and get our kids to bed - one room didn't have working AC (took half an hour to relocate us because they wanted to reset the AC to see if they could power it back up), kids room had a nightlight that couldn't turn off, half an hour later they covered it with electrical tape per my suggestion, floss sticks on ground from previous guest, a single bath towel for one of the rooms, no body wash (container removed), two pillows that were not in cases with feathers coming out and the other full of lumps. It took multiple check-ins to get resolution and the front desk staff was impatient and unapologetic.
Everything
The cleanest of the bathroom and bed there. Were hair fallicles
Excellent museum spaces, great bar and fantastic room.
No parking on site, but the street parking was fine.
Nothing. It's in a sketchy part of town, and they charge $50 a day for a fenced-in street lot across the street from the hotel. Or, you take your chances with a street lot a block away from the entrance to the hotel. I canceled my stay since I did not feel safe and the staff were rude.
Stairs to get into the hotel, more stairs to get to the front desk
Moderne et stylé. Personnel très agréable et accueillant.
Rien
I liked everything this place offered. I would like to recommend that you all have something special for birthdays.
Nothing
Clean and well run
A little pricey
Restaurant was closed. Our room was poorly cleaned.
It was located close to everything we wanted to do.
The bed and pillows were uncomfortable.
Stayed here due to a graduation. It was an edict property from Chase travel. Overall the property was nice but except for the museum on the second floor, it has a tired look that needs to be refreshed. Or at least a coat of paint for the hallway on the third floor. Bathroom was dark and spacious but didn't have any makeup accessories like a q-tip. The hotel's restaurant leans to Spanish food. With few restaurants nearby it was crowded. There is no free parking nearby. Parking lots and garages. 21C charges $50 per 24 hours. What was extremely annoying is that you cannot use the Edict hotel credit towards parking. Finally, there is breakfast and lunch at the Good Press. There was always a line for something for breakfast. That is not a hardship, but waiting 34 minutes to receive French Toast is.
Very well designed rooms and super interesting lobby. Definitely a fun and unexpected location. However the high-end products in the hotel room in the bathroom are always empty and the dispensers do not work, which requires multiple calls to get anything resolved. Restaurants are excellent but there’s a very long wait for breakfast since everyone has a credit. And do not expect to walk anywhere because there is nothing worth seeing within walking distance so everything will be an Uber from here.
I had business in St Louis so stayed here for a few nights. St Louis could sure use the business as the city has lots of vacant buildings and signs of entrenched poverty. The room was small for the American Midwest, but perfectly fine for 1-2 people. The location is odd. The eerily quiet neighborhood doesn't have much to offer a business traveler. If you're going in/out of the airport, this location is about a .6 mile walk from Union Station, which has a great train to the airport, but .6 miles is far if you have suitcases. If you want to go for a run along riverside, that's about .7 miles from this hotel (kind of far if want to go for a quick run). There are a few restaurants nearby but many of them close at 7 PM or earlier, and don't open at all Monday-Tuesday. The in-hotel restaurant is insanely priced at $50+ for an entree, and I didn't eat there. The hallways have peeling wallpaper and worn carpet, but the condition of my hotel room was better. The very nice in-house fitness center was a reason to pick the hotel, but the AC was broken when I was there and the fitness room was a toasty 78 degrees F, making for a poor experience. The outsourced cleaning staff is clearly overwhelmed; my room wasn't cleaned by 5 PM when I returned from work so I opted out of room cleaning. The lobby is beautiful and art gallery a nice touch, but this hotel doesn't get the basics right.
The bad over took any good there might have been
Room service was the worse
The whimsical eccelecticness of the hotel...art work, great bar and restaurant and wonderful health club
Great gym and pool.
Lack of parking
Die Atmosphäre, das Design, Rooms, Gym and the fact that there was a Lavazza Coffee Machine in the room
Different experience.
They facilty had no microwave and parking was no so great.
Amazing experience! Atmosphere, amenities and service was exceptional.
Great place to stay, clean, full of amenities
Liked it all.
Walking distance to places
Paying for parking
Love the location , actually felt safe at night .
I didn’t dislike anything about the property
Location and public areas
Room was dirty. Only one cup in room cup was dirty
I loved the decor, the artwork, the hotel room. It was kooky and fun and I enjoyed it. Bathroom was HUGE and one of my requests was to be on the upper floor and to have the penguin in the room, like on the website. Well, I got the high room, but no penguin. When I went to tell the front desk person, he obliged my request and brought me the big red penguin. :-) Kudos to that guy! He made the stay all the better.
The pillows are feather and they were very hard and uncomfortable. The bed was just ok. The furniture is quite hard/firm but still comfy and fun, I just wish the bed and pillows were better.
Close to Stifel theater. Great restaurants and lovely staff.
No bellhop, something I expect at a hotel of this stature. Room was quite small.
Decor, Museum and staff were friendly
Decor pillow on the bed was dirty and stained. I also thought the price of the valet parking was beyond expensive.
Kielan at valet was great. He greeted us and was friendly and informative.
Hallways and room felt dirty. Bathroom appears to not be cleaned. Refrigerator was in room but unplugged, phones in room not working and had to call front desk from mobile to have them bring a tv remote to room because there wasn’t one in the room. Most disappointing was valet wrecked my truck, apologized and accepted responsibility on the sidewalk as they pulled my truck up, they filed a claim through PMC their “Parking Management Company” and PMC denied the claim stating “ Our management team conducted a thorough inspection of the property, including the driving path and the vehicle parking area, and we were unable to identify any factors that could have contributed to the damage. There was no damage to any other vehicles or fixed objects that could account for the reported damage.” Would strongly encourage you to stay somewhere else.
Kilen is so kind (I'm sorry for the spelling!!) - soon as we got back from dinner, this man saved the day and had an umbrella ready for my lady when she got out of the car in the rain. Thank you again for taking care of us!
Visited Hotel 21C to experience their art exhibit. Had an incredible tour with Angie Villa. The hotel is gorgeous, the exhibit was incredible! Ate evening meal in Idol Wolf, with seven other people. Everyone only had great things to say about their meals.
The only thing positive was the room was nice once we actually got in the rrom
Check in was supposed to be 4pm. The room was not ready until 7:30. Had dinner reservations that we could not get ready for due to the room not being ready and was told to use the gym locker room which is totally unacceptable when paying that much for a hotel room.
No views. Pricey for the room I had.
Had to go to main floor for ice, I was on 8th floor. Only one coffee cup. Refrigerator was warm. Couldn't use tub.
WOW
JUST WOW
Great design, well done renovation, love the art, restaurant and bar are good. Housekeeping friendly and helpful.
There are some real infrastructure issues compared to our previous stay. No towels in the gym and pool area, TV remote control out of battery, room phone does not work, broken shower in pool changing room, empty or missing shampoo and body wash in room and gym area showers, only one cup in the room.
Well the staff were friendly but the time to get was over 1 hour. If it weren't for this part of experience,I would have rated this hotel as a 10 out of 10
Just amount of time waiting for breakfast.
Loved the on-site museum, the cafe and restaurant, the cheery room and the comfy bed! The staff were generally quite nice, especially at the bar. The room was quiet and we slept very well.
The WiFi did not work and an Internet outage plus other problems meant no streaming service. One day the housekeeping staff never showed up, so after a long day of work we came back to a messy room. We had to ask for a hair dryer and soap containers with working pumps.
The rooms were nice and clean
The part of town and how expensive everything was
I booked a room with 2 queens but they said it was unavailable on our arrival but they did upgrade us to a suite for the same price so I feel like they tried to make it up to us. Mattress on sleeper couch had popcorn crumbs on it and a few stain on the edge. I did not report that.
Elevators were out of order but they did get 1 repaired. Which made for better flow for people. No towels available at pool on Sunday . Was told they were out for the night. I feel they should have called first more. There were several people at the pool who needed them. I think they did try to resolve issues and staff was very nice.
Location is great. Staff are very helpful. Bar and restaurant are also decent.
A little pricey.
