The front desk staff (Mary and her supervisor I think) on the night shift are amazing. They helped figure out a stressful situation at check in when I was very tired at 1am. Mary was very kind and calming. I appreciate them both.
Nothing
Room was filthy. Front desk staff was ignorant to what was going on.
comfortable bed and temperature good location
visible mildew under the rim of the toilet mildew in bath/shower parking (wasn't given the option of finding parking on my own)
Andrew was a great ambassador to your facility…give him a raise!!! The history behind the train station is fascinating. The Lobby with the light/laser show was awesome. The aquarium was very nice And the pond and old railway tracks just added to the experience.
There were a few things that could have been done better but very minimal so no need to state. You stay there for the mystic.
The room was good. The property and the surrounding area was awsome.
The over night parking fee was a bit much.
Location
Room. Needs major renovations.
The room was neat and clean once we were able to finally get in!
Our room's stated check-in time was 4:00 p.m. We arrived just before 4:00 p.m. and checked in, but were told our room was not ready. We were unable to access our room until after 5:00 p.m., more than an hour after the advertised check-in time. When we returned to get our room key, we were repeatedly told that we had not checked in. The person who had completed the check-in process was holding seats at an event, but the other member of our party, who had been present during check-in, was at the front desk. Despite explaining the situation, the staff insisted that the person who checked in had to be present. Only after the front desk employee who had originally checked us in confirmed that we had, in fact, already checked in did the other two front desk employees allow us access to our room. The entire interaction felt unnecessary, confrontational, and harassing. Combined with the delayed room availability, it created a very frustrating start to our stay.
Staff was great.
My stay wasn't longer.
The property it self was beautiful!
I paid more than what my booking amount was plus the valet. My booking was 355 plus 50 valet but I ended up paying 426$ altogether. Not too much more, but still. When we got to our room, there was a used towel in the bathroom hanging on the shower curtain rod and there was hair around the bathroom still. Kind of disappointed with the amount I paid for one night.
I loved how clean the hotel was and how beautiful the environment was. The staff were kind and attentive and housekeeping staff were kind and helpful.
The location was great and I enjoyed the readily available food/drink options as well as the carnival section.
The layout of the hotel was a bit confusing. No stairs directly to the 2nd floor so you have to take the elevator or hope the door at the end of the 2,100 hall is open. Having no choice but to either park for $44 dollars per day or valet your car for $50 is ridiculous. I understand that there isn't much parking available and you do receive vouchers if you are nice enough, but still...
Very unique and historical . Loved breakfast!! Aquarium right next door was the neatest experience. Downtown was very calm
Hotel was gorgeous. Stayed in the clock tower. Room was very quiet. There was even a wedding reception down stairs and we couldn’t hear the music except for an occasional muffle of bass heavy music. Staff was very friendly. We were able to walk to most of our destinations like Busch Stadium (30 min) and you can access the aquarium, wheel, rope course, etc directly from the hotel.
Paying for parking. $44 per night same as if you were parking for the day in the aquarium parking lot.
Incredible distances to walk for anything, our room felt blocks away from lobby.
The double queen room was ‘meh’. Carpet didn’t appear very clean and we were granted sewer smells occasionally at all hours.
That it was close to the places we went to
Paid for a room then they gave us a different and less in price room then we paid. They said when we book online through 3rd party we only booking a room u don't get the room you choose and paid for. Your just paying to have a room. Then we ask where a grocery store was so we can get our kids some milk and she said we have a market but the second night they closed it all day and night for a private party in the building so they only cared about the private party not all guest staying there. And the room they gave us after complaining, when the party was going on they blocked off main hallway so we had to go all the way around to bottom then back up a different way. And the room they gave us at the end my baby girl was crawling all over the floor and when I picked her up she was covered in dirt and dust. Not very clean rooms for being under the clock tower. I will never stay there again.
Beautiful! Beautiful!
Very confusing! Not a ton of staff to help out we walked around looking lost for a good 15 minutes just to find the check in.
The atmosphere was amazing
There wasnt an adult swim. The children in the pool made it impossible for the adults to enjoy anytime in the pool. Especially with the price of the hotel.
We got lost everywhere we went. It’s a beautiful building so I don’t mind the reroute sometimes. The elevators to the tower rooms, I assume, was breathtaking. It would be perfect for a fashion show. Parking for two cars was pricey. Things to do but everything was expensive. For two nights we spent

Big room, historic location, great architecture in the original building
Rooms a bit confusing to find, but once we understood the layout, it was easy enough
Omg I can’t even describe how amazing this place was! I was worried being downtown St Louis! Valet was amazing! You can pull up and they’ll keep your car out front so you can unload in multiple trips, it’s super easy! The lobby is absolutely incredible!!!! They do this amazing light show it’s beautiful! The place is huge and you could go there and never leave and be busy the entire time!
It’s definitely a little on the older side but that’s part of the beauty! The front desk staff seemed a little annoyed, but the valet crew really made up for it!
Walking to the room up the stairs all the money you pay and you have to pay more to park it’s crazy
Parking sucked.
Literally loved everything about this place, might be the nicest and most knowledgably staff I have ever encountered
Perfect location for Union Station
More of a wish list…wish the pool was heated
long waits for valet
The light show was so much fun!
They closed the pool about thirty mins after we got in and never reopened it even the next day. The rooms were very hot, even our 5 year didn’t cover up.
Clean, great location! Amazing family stay.

The Union Station venue overall features wonderful architecture and history. Unfortunately, the hotel accommodations and service don't live up to the Curio standard and were quite disappointing. Union Station and the attractions are a great place to visit for a day and the Grand Hall in the evening, but I wouldn't want to stay there again as a hotel guest. We spent three total nights (and nearly $1,000) and never received housekeeping services nor any room amenity refresh. After long days running around as tourists, every night after we got back to our room exhausted, we had to request housekeeping to deliver fresh towels and other expendables, had to dump our own trash, etc. and thus had to wait to go to bed. (Note: We were not advised during booking nor upon check-in that housekeeping is only provided every other day, but in our case, it never happened after three nights/four days). Double queen rooms are nothing exceptional and are small, lacking clothes drawers or anywhere to unpack clothing, so we lived out of our suitcases for three days. Parking, although pricey, is convenient on a nicely maintained lot across the street. Visit this place, but maybe don't stay there.

Clean, very beautiful lobby. We found it difficult getting around the hotel from our room.
One wing has no elevator you have to get to the connecting wing for the elevator. Lots of walking especially if you have a wheelchair or kids etc.
Excellent accommodations. Stayed in the Grand Hall, which I would recommend.
It was an amazing stay from the room to the food 😍❤️

The two employees Mo at valet was awesome and the bell man Reico was exceptional service I really enjoyed my time at the hotel
Everything was great food and rides were wonderful we didn’t get to see the light show because there was a wedding going on that was the only disappointment
The history and the clean property! It was also nice to be near a couple of different places to eat.
It was historic.
Too expensive and a little confusing to get around. Parking was expensive.
Amazing place ! Le bâtiment, ancienne gare, est vraiment exceptionnel. Le personnel est très accueillant. Service au top
Un petit peu cher mais ça vaut vraiment le coup
Room was clean 2 bottles of water provided free daily Staff were very pleasant and helpful Breakfast was excellent with excellent service
I had to leave the hotel at 3am for my flight but was unable to check out in advance and when i went to check out I was unable to because of an audit taking place at the time. My receipt was subsequently emailed to me but i havent been refunded my 150 deposit
Location
Toilet did not flush good, parking not included with the cost, allow dogs.
Property was beautiful and staff (hotel and valet) were incredible! Very helpful and very kind. The breakfast at Station Grille was fantastic.
The only real negative was that the tub was cracked and water temp was either freezing cold or burning hot - for just adults it’s sort of manageable but for kids would be an issue - but given how nice everything else was, I would think water temp should be taken care of. Also wish we would’ve had extra blankets in the room, but that’s just a nice extra!
Beautiful historical place so big. You can get lost very easily but there are signs everywhere.
It was such a surprise to have everything right there.
Can't think of anything!
I've been to this hotel numerous times in the last three years. I have always chosen it despite the high valet cost because it was one of the few hotels that still had an Executive Lounge. Unfortunately they no longer have it, apparently, since Feb of this year according to one of the hotel staff members. I will not be going back as the cost doesn't justify the loss of this amenity. I'll be staying else where
Staff was friendly Beautiful property
Location, beautiful hotel, restaurant, bar
The large container in the shower for hair conditioner was completely empty.
Location
The price was high
Beautiful building, lots of food options near by, amazing location for going to the enterprise center
Some members of the valet staff in the afternoon/evening were very unpleasant to deal with. Were visibly grumpy/exasperated when we showed up to ask for our car, and were the same and rude when we had a communication issue about a drop off that we quickly fixed. And overheard them cussing at the phone in front of multiple customers before picking it up while waiting for our car. The rest of the staff we dealt with were wonderful but it was very uncomfortable to deal with that staff member and to feel like we were being burdensome for using a service the hotel provided
My sister has been a Hilton Team Member for over 15 years so we stay at Hilton exclusively. This is by far the worst Hilton we’ve ever stayed at… let alone that it’s supposed to be in the Curio Collection. We booked the King Standard room and when we arrived I noticed the room smelled bad. The carpet wasn’t vacuumed and there was still debris and hair in the garbage. The bathroom was the worst, there was clearly toothpaste splatter on the walls, definitely not paint. The whole room looked like it had been wiped with the same dirty rag leaving dirt everywhere. It was also facing the park area that was blaring country music and was super loud. The lady at the front desk agreed the room wasn’t cleaned and said it frustrated her as well and switched us rooms. The next room was marginally cleaner but the tv screen was broken. So again…. Back to the front desk. This time, there were 2 other women at the desk complaining of the cleanliness of their room as well. At this point it had been over an hour and the only option they gave us was a queen room or have the TV swapped. We chose the TV swap but they told us they were out of TVs and instead switched our room to a different part of the hotel. As we were leaving the front desk, another employee remarked “they’re moving rooms again?!” Which was clearly heard by us and we didn’t appreciate. The third room was one of their Executive King rooms with laminate flooring instead of carpet. It was definitely the better option of the 3 but was still not quite the standard it should have been. This room is normally over $350/night but felt really cheap. The toilet didn’t flush properly, tv was small, wifi quality was super slow, the Keurig didn’t work and the room didn’t even have actual glassware. The sound quality was the worst part. The walls are paper thin… we could hear every conversation and toilet flush. Definitely would never pay the Executive price for the quality of this room. So disappointing Hilton…. Overall, it’s clear that this hotel is poorly managed and the cleanliness and quality is definitely suffering.
This hotel is great in location only!!! For it to be rated 4 stars is shocking, baffling, and unbelievable to me. First, let's talk about the fact that hotel parking is a minimum of $45 per day, and to add insult to injury, they only give you two exit parking vouchers when you check in. You have to keep going back to the front desk and ask for more, so if you're sightseeing away from there, enjoying the city, or perhaps your stay is work-related, then it is a flat-out hassle to do so. At $45 a day, there should be a parking pass loaded to your hotel card. Second, let's talk about the fact that when you call the front desk, there is no answer. I got one answer shortly after my check-in, but then no more. I even pulled out my cellphone, called directly in, and still no answer. Glad I didn't have an emergency. Next, let's talk about the police posted at the stand in the hall outside the reception/front desk area. I asked an officer if the doors nearest the stand were an exit to the street, and he, rudely, with an attitude and his face literally turned sideways, said, "I don't know, I don't work here!" I turned away with a look of confusion, 'cause surely you know. Next, let's talk about how the business center was just a long, long, long table sitting outside the gift shop and fitness room and adjacent to the bar, with multiple signs on it telling you how to access printing from the cloud via your phone or the Internet. Plus, someone had ripped the Ethernet cord connection loose, and there was absolutely zero space for privacy. Next but not least, the remote control, the coffee maker, and the phone needed to be tossed in the trash. The phone and the remote control had some white, glossy glaze on them. Yuck! The coffee maker was so nasty that when I ran hot water through it without ever using a coffee or tea pod, the water was filled with large and medium brown debris. It even had a smell. So disgusting and disappointing. I had to take a Benadryl and sleep with a mask on because running hot water through that machine released something in the air, making it so difficult to breathe easily and not stop sneezing. I was uncomfortable all night. This is just to name a few things wrong with this "4-Star" Petri Dish. The expensive cost of convenience for the nearby attractions is not worth going home with an unexpected rash or virus. I would not recommend this place at all.
Everyone was helpful and nice
It was a very interesting location with a lot to do. The history tied into light shows were wonderful.
Bit pricey, not sure I would have been comfortable walking far from the hotel grounds.
Booking.com said breakfast was included. It most definitely was not. It was one of the reasons we stayed and paid almost $2000 for 2 nights.
How close it was to everything
The fact that they shut down all the access way during a wedding and close the restaurant for the wedding
Attended a women’s conference with friends at this hotel. Delila at the front desk is exceptional. She went above and beyond with sorting out our room reservations. She confidently resolved our concerns and made recommendations while putting our minds at ease when we were frazzled. She radiated positivity and professionalism, letting us know if we had any other concerns or questions she would gladly assist us.
no early breakfast for marathon runners despite this hotel being a st. louis marathon affiliated hotel. staff were not helpful and overall kind of rude - additionally they were not all on the same page regarding things relevant to the race this weekend. rooms were not super clean.
As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I have earned and come to rely on the executive lounge benefits that set this status apart. The abrupt removal of complimentary soft drinks, breakfast, and snacks at Union Station St. Louis is nothing short of a betrayal of that loyalty. This elimination of a core benefit will impact where I choose to stay and invest my money during each visit moving forward. I would urge the Union Station Hilton to reinstate these benefits and honor what few perks actually exist for Diamond members.
The Hotel is beautiful and very clean.
The Bed was leaning on one side and very uncomfortable. The restaurant we ate at was not impressive.
No continental breakfast, not enough towels and wash clothes
The location was great. Staff was friendly. Room was overpriced for what we received. I booked in advance. The website said breakfast was included but name wasn't on the list. The website stated we would have access to executive lounge but there wasn't a lounge. The water pressure was really low. I could have stayed somewhere else much cheaper with same quality. I felt cheated. I chose this hotel over the four seasons. Huge mistake
