Great place to stay. Big rooms and lots of facilities. Nice pool and staff are very welcoming. Can recommend

No restaurant for dinner. But many places nearby.

Familien Zimmer sind sehr gut zu 4. sehr geräumig. Die Matratzen waren die besten während unserer Reise! Pool ist auch recht groß und es gibt Pool Handtücher. Frühstück normal mit unterschiedlichen Eiern, Saft oder Früchte und tee oder Kaffee. Wasserspender immer frei verfügbar. Rollenverleih unkompliziert über die Unterkunft möglich. Mushroom bay 7 Minuten zu laufen, einige essensmöglichkeiten auch in laufreichweite.

Ensure that you ask for bungalows 5,6 or 7 if you want the more deluxe, slightly more spacious room with a larger porch area.

Le petit dejeuner est très basique mais bon. La piscine est super et le jardin très calme et agréable. Le personne est très agréable et aidant. La chambre familiale est très spacieuse et confortable

On peut entendre la tv dans la chambre voisine car elle est sur le même mur que les têtes des lits

Lors de nôtre séjour de nombreux chiens ont aboyé la nuit mais cela est indépendant des propriétaires de l'hébergement. La moustiquaire n'était pas adaptée au lit donc inutilisable. Chambre qui manque de lumière

It has a nice pool.

The bathrooms are fully outdoors. The facility on offers breakfast and there aren't many food options near the facility.

Le grand bungalow simple et spacieux, la grande piscine, le calme de l' hôtel. Retour à la sobriété et au calme après Bali. Malgré les bemols nous avons apprécié notre séjour de 5 nuits car nous avions pu louer sur place un scooter.

Les abords de l'hôtel peu attractifs (pas de route : pistes caillouteuses de ce côté là de l'ile, beaucoup de déchets dans la nature environnante, plage à 2 pas de l'hôtel pas belle du tout) bon à savoir : bien que plus authentique, l'île est moins développée que bali donc être prévenu concernant la gestion des déchets et les déplacements. Le petit déjeuner pas terrible et ne correspond pas aux photos communiquées par l'hôtel. Espace réception et restauration qui mériterait d'être rafraîchi et plus entretenu (mobilier, parasols et matelas de transats très usagés). Le jardin manque de fleurs et de belles végétations locales. Douche : peu d'eau chaude et peu de pression

Super gemütliche Betten.

We stayed 3 nights at Kencana Gardens The bungalows are timber construction with an outside bathroom attached to the rear - the place has a very authentic feel about it (even though it is now showing its age it is still a wonderful place to stay). The bed and pillows are really comfortable, we slept well every night. There is an A/C in the room and mosquito net over the bed. There is a small fridge (kettle and cups available on request) The swimming pool is a good size and very refreshing. The surrounding garden is very tranquil - a lovely spot to while away a few hours. Soft drinks and beers are available for purchase Breakfast is cooked to order and served on the front verandah or by the pool - a good selection to choose from. The staff are friendly, always with a smile to greet you with. The rooms are cleaned daily. Laundry was done within a day - we handed it over at midday and was back to us later that evening. Komang, the owner is there to assist with transfers, etc. I thoroughly recommend Kencana Gardens and would stay here again the next time I'm in Lembongan

Fantastic value for money Room was very comfortable, great aircon and fantastic set up for a family. The pool was very clean and a welcome treat out of the sun. The breakfast was simple but exactly what you needed. The rooms were very quiet at night which is hard to find on Lembogan

Ospitalità, grandezza e pulizia della stanza. La posizione vicina alle due migliori spiagge. La piscina bellissima e l’ambiente molto curato con bellissime piante.

Tres satisfait de notre sejour, hotel calme avec 9 bungalows . A quelques minutes à pied plusieurs warung, massage. Petit dejeuner correct.

Robinetterie un peu usée mais sinon l'hotel est top.

Very friendly staff and very helpful, lovely pool and surroundings. Room very clean and good size. Breakfast was delicious.

Needed net curtains to avoid having to keep curtains closed permanently. Some hooks to hang up towels in bathroom or back of bathroom door would be helpful.

Perfecte locatie. Je wandelt binnen een paar minuten naar tal van restaurantjes en het is 7 minuten lopen naar mushroombeach. Er is een strand nog dichterbij maar hier zijn verder geen voorzieningen. Mooi groot zwembad en comfortabele kamers. Vriendelijk personeel welke dagelijks zorgt voor een prima (keuze) ontbijt. Er worden goede scooters verhuurd en ook excursies kunnen door de eigenaar geregeld worden. Deze zijn goed. Scooter is aan te raden om de rest van het eiland te verkennen. Tijdens ons verblijf werd de weg naar de accomodatie geasfalteerd, hierdoor is de weg naar de accommodatie inmiddels goed. Voor ons zeker een accommodatie om terug te komen.

Le jardin est magnifique. La chambre familiale était spacieuse et plutôt bien agencée pour ranger nos affaires. L’accès direct à la piscine de la chambre. Le petit déjeuner très bon et vite servi. Il est facile de commander des taxis sur place pour se déplacer un peu partout sur l’île. Il y a pas mal de commerces, salon de massages, restaurants à proximité et la plage de Mushroom a quelques minutes à pied.

Peut être le manque de place dans la salle de bain pour poser ses affaires et le robinet qui éclabousse partout ( mais ça relève du détail )

La piscina y la tranquilidad

Se partio una tablilla de la ducha, pudiendo haberme hecho mucho daño en el pié. Aunque la cambiaron de inmediato. El bungalow es un poco oscuro y falta mas luz, aunque suelen ser así todos.

Bastante alejado de zona con ambiente. Los exteriores del hotel están muy abandonados.

We loved the small intimate property. The pool was central and beautifully clean. It was a short walk to mushroom beach and I loved the walkway through the local area. It felt really authentic. Cripic the dog started to warm up a by the end of our weeks stay too. I would highly recommend this place and will be back with extended family. Thanks to all the team there for such a memorable stay!

Au top! Lieu magnifique une végétation incroyable! Au calme et une literie de grands hôtels qui nous a permis de nous remettre du décalage horaire en une nuit. L'île est magnifique. Hôtel à 3 minutes à pied de la plage et commerces ( massages...). Délicieux warung Soka à 5 minutes.

Magnifique petit hôtel, notamment la piscine et le jardin qui sont superbes. Les chambres sont grandes et climatisées, avec une salle de bain semi extérieur. C'est vraiment beau et agréable. Possibilité de louer des scooters via l'hôtel. Ils sont adorables et hyper souples sur les horaires. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Reco à 100%

Un peu loin mais on peut marcher.

The room was a good size and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was outdoors and it rained a lot while we there so everything always felt wet. This was no fault of the hotel of course but to go to the toilet in the night I had to keep putting towels down so as not to slip on the tiles. The bathmat was always dripping wet and there was nowhere to hang it. Staff cleaned the room each day but didn't once give us a new mat. There were also not enough towel hooks so we were having to hang the bath towels inside the room in the air con just in the hopes they would dry enough for the next shower. The pool was great. My son spent so much time in it. The closest beach is a precarious walk down a rubbish filled walkway but once down there, the beach itself is lovely. Walking to Mushroom Beach and restaurants etc is about a 9 minute walk but the first part is through the bush and past a local village. Totally fine during the day but absolutely no light at night so take it steady! This location would be fine if you had your own scooters but we did not so it honestly did make getting around a little trickier.

More places to hang towels and wet swimmers etc would be a great addition.

We had a really nice stay at Kencana Gardens. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The property is well maintained, and the pool area is a great place to relax. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to unwind. It's a little difficult to get to, but that's fairly typical for many places on the island. Breakfast was simple but tasty, and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. Overall, it's a great place to stay, and we'd happily recommend it.

The room is clean, and the bed very comfortable. Love when we get in the room and the aircon is on. This is our second stay here and I highly recommend. Friendly family owned. Love the banana and pineapple pancakes for breakfast with tea.

Cozy rooms and nice pool, the service was very friendly! They organised us e.g. scooters and snorkelling tours for fair price. Location was good - short distance from different services and beaches. If we travel to Bali again, we book this place again :).

Tranquillity, pool, spacious rooms, comfortable beds& bedding, helpful staff. Komang runs a lovely establishment & can organise any activities or transport you need.

Rustig maar toch dichtbij het strand en restaurantjes. Kleinschalig met een heerlijk zwembad

Wij hadden de familiekamer, de wastafel is heel ondiep en alles is meteen nat, ook geen plek om je spulletjes neer te zetten, maar dat is gewoon een kleinigheidje.

Prachtige accommodatie met een heel fijne sfeer. De opzet met de verschillende huisjes langs het mooie zwembad is ideaal. Het personeel is ontzettend aardig en je kunt gemakkelijk direct via de eigenaar een scooter huren of een tour regelen. Ook de locatie is top: op loopafstand van gezellige restaurantjes. Wij raden deze plek zeker aan!

The pool was great, nice area for breakfast around it, good size rooms, cleanliness & the layout of the whole property was very pleasant! Value for money is great and we really enjoyed our stay, will be back again for sure

It’s a bit of a drive by bike on those broken Lembongan roads to get to Lago or the main strip but not critical

Kencana was a very affordable accomodation for our 6 night stay in Nusa Lembongan. Our bungalow (one of about 8) was very spacious and suited our family of 4. The room was very clean. The pool was great as it had two different depths. As the accommodation was small, we often had the pool to ourselves on some days. It was very relaxing. Location: It was a 10 minute stroll to Mushroom bay via the shortcut through the bush (walking with kids). 3 minute walk to Tamarind Beach. Mushroom bay beach is lovely for swimming and has some nice restaurants/resorts along the beach to eat and swim at. Tamarind Beach is probably not the best for swimming but from there you can take a lovely walk along a board walk (leading to other beaches and restaurants). Also a cute book cafe at Tamarind Beach is definately worth a look. The food was delicious. Breakfast was simple but filling (eggs on toast/banana pancakes/nasi Goreng/mi goreng). Staff were friendly and helpful if we needed anything liked transport booked. The cute dog called Cripic was a hit with the kids. Very good value for money!

Only breakfast was available (No lunch/dinner). And also no alcohol available to purchase.

Sehr schöne Bungslows, toller Pool und herzliches Personal. Scooter ausleihen oder Schnorcheltour alles vor Ort buchbar zu guten Preisen. Scooter braucht man.

We loved our stay here. Large rooms, nice breaky, great pool, amazing price point for what you get and lovely staff especially Kadek who was just so kind and helpful. Very happy with our stay and would recommend to our family and friends without any hesitation.

Hadden een familiekamer voor 4 personen, bedden waren heerlijk. Kamer was erg schoon en werd goed bijgehouden. Zwembad was groot en de kids konden er heerlijk spelen. Mushroom beach was minuut of 8 lopen dus was top.(Wandelpad)

Met de auto of scooter is het wat lastiger te bereiken door wat gammele wegen en afgelegen,, maar dat is de algehele staat van de wegen op nusa lembongan.

I booked this place because of the high rankings, and I’ve proven it myself—it’s absolutely worth it. The property is very clean, well-maintained, and the photos speak the truth. We stayed in the Family Room for a group of four and it was very comfortable. Our room was impeccably clean with excellent water pressure, which was a huge plus. The 5-star service from the host and staff was excellent. It’s great to see such a professionally managed place by a local owner. A heads-up on the access: the island’s infrastructure is currently poor with broken roads, but this is definitely not the property’s fault. Overall, very recommended!

Everything was great, but adding more physical signage for the hotel would be very helpful. It would make the property easier to find for guests who might not want to rely solely on Google Maps, especially given the current road conditions.

Fabulous little hideaway, like a little hidden retreat. One of my favourite places I stayed in Bali... 10 mins walk to Mushroom beach, hidden beach is also up /down couple laneways, beautiful. And you have a super restaurant Warung Maken Kevin nearby - absolutely gorgeous local cuisine, and then the bookstore for air-con, coffee, and space to just 'be' or work! Super location to retreat from the world for a few days or weeks!

PLEASE BE AWARE: When you head from Kencana to Mushroom Bay Beach - you go down the lane opposite Kencana, take a left and then turn right for Mushroom Bay... there is a Money Changer literally on the corner (on your right - just before L-Good) he has a souvenir shop too. He is a Conman, he counts money in front of you, insists on recounting after you have - and is exceptionally good at disappearing money - 3x he did it until I could get the right amount (I only noticed first time when back at Kencana), he recounts and wraps it and hands it to you! *THIS IS Nothing to do with Kencana, but strangely they didn't even offer to assist me when I had clearly been robbed - yet I am a guest, and female solo traveller, I've been travelling for 30+ years, I am very careful and streetwise... but I am blessed in the trust and support of the locals, and of course Bali is extraordinary for this - this was an unfortunate experience, not in anyway to with Kencana - but the lack of support was disappointing.

Would've liked an on site restaurant especially when lounging poolside, breakfast was available & for meals just a short walk to eat out.

Wir wären gern noch ein bisschen länger geblieben. Die Unterkunft war rundum ein Träumchen.

Bis zur nächsten belebten Straße muss man ca. 5 Minuten wandern - das war aber trotzdem noch völlig in Ordnung.

Absolutely fantastic place, it's possible to stay for a weekend here and to live couple of weeks as well with the same comfort Perfect location for exploring the island, 5 minutes to nearest beach and 10 minutes to another beach and street with all restaurants and shops and scooter rental. Super friendly and kind host always helpful and happy.

This is a beautiful place with a fantastic owner and staff. The rooms are large and comfortable, the pool is perfect and the pancakes and omelettes are so good! It is a short walk to Tamarind beach and mushroom bay with both cheap and more expensive restaurants nearby. We will be back

Complejo bungalows super bonito. Muy nuevo. Habitacion familiar super grande. Cama matrimonio extragrande, muy comoda. El jardin muy bonito y bien cuidado. La piscina con las hamacas genial. Nos encanto todo, tambien la ubicacion. El encargado del hotel nos organizo el tour de snorkel para ver las mantas y despues seguimos el tour por Nusa Penida, visitando los puntos mas populares. ¡¡¡Todo genial!!!

We hadden bungalow met badkamer en WC buiten, enige drempel om ‘‘s nachts naar de WC te gaan :)

Helaas werkte de airco niet goed. Toen ik dit aangaf kreeg ik te horen dat die wel goed werkte maar dat het te warm was. Het was 27 graden. Uiteindelijk hebben we een ventilator erbij gekregen.

Geweldige, rustige locatie op het eiland. Alles erg schoon en goed voor elkaar.

Weg er naar toe is wat hobbelig, al is het geen ramp.

La tranquilidad y privacidad al ser pocos alojamientos. Buen desayuno. A 5 minutos a pie de la zona de restaurantes y servicios .Komang nos gestiono la visita a Penida a buen precio.

Que tan solo sean dos días de estancia y ya estén acabando.

Bedden lagen heerlijk, mooie tuin en via een pad wat ‘s avonds wel wat donker is makkelijk het centrum te bereiken.

This place was everything we wanted, the staff were super helpful and nothing was a problem. It was in a very peaceful area but still very close to Mushroom Beach, fab for the sunsets. Staff assisted us with scooter hire which was the perfect way to get round.

Rustige maar toch centrale ligging op het mooie Nusa Lembongan. Als je er meerdere dagen bent is scooter huren aan te raden. De eigenaar kan je daarmee helpen. Eigenlijk wil hij je overal wel bij helpen (denk aan snorkeltripje, transfer van en naar accomodatie). Heerlijk zwembad. En prima (keuze) ontbijt. Smaakte heerlijk. Wij hebben het heel fijn gehad. En goede prijs kwaliteits verhouding!

Alles was eigenlijk goed. Toen wij er verbleven waren er hoofdzakelijk Nederlanders. Bij aankomst geen uitleg gehad over bijv. tijdstip ontbijt, water tappen en uit koelkast drank halen. Geen echt negatief punt maar was wellicht wel handig geweest. Al met al heel fijn verblijf gehad.
