Love being on site for our diving. The location is so central and close to many restaurants. This was a repeat visit and we were not disappointed. Loved our bungalow style accommodation. The breakfast included in the tariff was the normal Indo style choices. The dive guides and safety procedures were of a high standard. All divers were accounted for pre and post each dive. We love love love the place. Thank you to all the staff!!!

We didn't like having to leave 😕.

Quant au petit déjeuner, il n'est pas copieux et manque de diversité Pour finir la terrasse n'est pas agréable du tout Bref, vous pouvez trouver beaucoup mieux

Tolle Lage, perfekt für Taucher und Schnorchler... schöne Häuschen, im Garten gelegen. Frühstück a la carte war gut.

Pool war leider 3 Tage nicht nutzbar. Braucht man bei diesem Meer allerdings sowieso nicht. Sehr viele Moskitos im Badezimmer

La ubicación y la comodidad de la habitación

Unser zweiter Aufenthalt im Manta Gili Air, die Insel hat sich seitdem wahnsinnig entwickelt. Wir würden auch beim nächsten Mal wieder ins Manta und nach Gili Air kommen. Bestens organisiert, super nettes und unkompliziertes Personal. Die Zimmer sind ruhig, super sauber und schön. Die angeschlossenene Tauchschule haben wir auch zum zweiten Mal genutzt, auch sie ist super organisiert, sympathisch, gutes Equipment, kleine Gruppen, unkompliziert mit super netter Crew, von den Bootsjungs über die lokalen Divemaster (Danke Opik für die tollen Fundives) hin zum internationalen Tauchlehrer (Danke an Johanna und Charlie für die geduldige Ausbildung unserer Kinder) Team. Frühstück im angeschlossen Restaurant a la carte, kleine Portionen aber super lecker mit Ausblick aufs Meer. Die Lage an der Ostseite, kein Strand, bei Flut ist man aber sehr nah an den besten Schorchelspots der Insel, und ein paar Minuten zu Fuß nach Süden kann man ganztägig am Strand liegen und schwimmen. Unzählige Restaurants in Laufweite.

I had a good experience at Manta Dive in Gili Air. The overall service was good, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the diving experience was enjoyable. The location was also convenient for exploring Gili Air.

However, there were a couple of things that could be improved. The room did not have a table, chair, or sofa, which was quite inconvenient, especially for a longer stay. Also, considering the facilities provided, I felt the price was a little higher than expected. Overall, it was a good experience, but in my opinion, the stay was **not quite worth the money**. I would recommend it for the diving experience, but for accommodation, I think there are better value-for-money options available on Gili Air.

Gute Lage zum Schnorcheln, nette Menschen, leckeres Frühstück und bequeme Betten. Der Tauchkurs für die Kinder war super!

The location of the property was excellent. So central and easy to get around by walking. No need even for a scooter or bike.

One of the swimming pools was out of use. There was a sign saying it was being cleaned, however that sign was there for at least two days and nothing had changed. It was disappointing to not be able to use it. Our biggest issue was on our final night, we came back to our room after dinner to find bugs in the bed. I had woke up that morning with bites on my legs and they were very itchy, but I never thought more about it. Once I saw the bugs in the bed and on the sheets we knew that was it. We couldn’t stay there so we had to go and find accommodation elsewhere and this was at 9pm. Not ideal walking round the streets with all your luggage. It was an awful experience. I would not recommend staying here.

Beautiful place very well located. Room is amazing and the staff is unbelievable friendly. Great option beachfront and surrounded by great restaurants. Also a great option if you are a diver. I highly recommend this place.

Posizione eccellente fronte mare in uno dei punti più belli dell’isola. Bungalow grandi e puliti, dotati di ogni comfort, di terrazza con divanetto, tavolino e stendi panni, letto enorme e comodissimo, bagni grandi con doccia all’aperto.

La colazione sarebbe da migliorare ma per essere inclusa nel prezzo della stanza va più che bene. La piscina non è il massimo. Struttura un po’ datata ma comunque ben manutenuta.

La habitación era muy bonita y con el baño al exterior.

We have mixed feelings. The rooms were good; spacious and clean, we really like this setting. The bathrooms were really nice with open air shower. Nice tropical gardens around the rooms. No noise from nearby beachfront. The pools ok but small. The local staff members in the restaurant are super friendly as any other place in Lombok. Breakfast was moderate. Omelet ok but the bread included nothing special. The pancakes super dry. Smoothie bowl not near as good at any other place we had it. There was not even fresh fruit served and only 1 hot or cold standard drink included. We decided to breakfast at other places like Santorini which has the best breakfast. (The smoothie bowls are the best there!!) The little shop right next to Manta to arrange snorkel tour, scooter or bike hire and boat trips was great. The guy Hendra is super nice and helpful. Don’t look further and just book these activities via Hendra. But…. The western) dive staff did not say a word. No hello, no welcome, no interest in us at all. Only busy with themselves not noticing anything around. We stayed 5 nights. The first day we asked about diving. They never said a word nor asked if we were still intending to dive. We never had this strange feeling at a dive shop before. Usually dive shop members approach guests in an enthusiastic friendly and welcoming way, connecting and engaging with guests. The vibe was just not there. So we dived with 3W further down the road instead which was right away the experience, welcome and friendliness we were looking for.

Que está a primera línea de playa y al lado del Turtle Point. También hacen muy buenos desayunos y el personal es muy agradable.

Que las cortinas no son opacas y por la mañana entra mucho el sol. Es un hotel enfocado para gente que va a hacer buceo, no tanto para viaje de pareja.

We loved staying here and would stay again. Location was great, staff were great, bungalow was lovely and we liked the outdoor shower bathroom too. And good that breakfast was provided. Easy to walk to from the port and so many great bars, cafes and restaurants at your door step. Not to mention swimming pools on the property, snorkelling and swimming right out front.

Bed was uncomfortable, too hard. And a suggestion, having coffee, milk and sugar plus mugs and a kettle in the room would be good too - for those of us who like a coffee before 7:30 when breakfast starts. Staff did provide us with a kettle and cups but power points were in the ground and difficult to access.

Het huisje was perfect. Rustig, ruim en licht. De buitendouche was zalig. De bedrijvigheid bij Manta is heerlijk. Overal waar je kijkt zijn mensen in de weer en tegelijkertijd hangt er een hele relaxte sfeer. Als één grote duikfamilie. De duikcursus was ook top! Rafi, de duikmaster is fantastisch! Hij legt veel uit op een hele rustige manier. Hele goede duikcursus.

Het restaurant is gericht op de Mexicaanse keuken. Dat was even een verrassing.

Words cannot express how fabulous this place is! Every single aspect is perfect...the beautiful large room, comfortable bed, huge bathroom with open air shower, two small pools with loungers. But there's so much more. The setting is unmatched, on a perfect stretch of the coast where the turquoise sea laps against the wall below the adjacent restaurant area at high tide and where you can easily swim or snorkel out over the beautiful coral reef to see tropical fish and turtles. The included breakfast is fresh and delicious and Cookie in the bar is really lovely and friendly. There are plenty of places to eat locally but you can easily walk to the port area and beyond to the west coast for more choice. You can hire bikes and fins next door but biking around the island is a bit tricky because of deep sand on some stretches. The staff are all wonderful, and the on-site diving team are the icing on the cake. Shani was super reassuring to a nervous beginner diver like me and our dive guide June was wonderful, helping us to see loads of beautiful sea life and extending our experience slowly and calmly. This place is a paradise and we didn't want to leave!

Las habitaciones son perfectas. Cómodas, espaciosas con baño exterior, aire acondicionado, etc. Personal muy amable que te ayuda a gestionar todo lo que necesites. Ubicación inmejorable a un paseo del puerto

Super emplacement, super hôtel pour faire du snorkeling (ou plus si affinités) directement devant l’établissement. On sort de notre chambre (Bangalore) sur une petite terrasse avec sièges et banquette) au milieu d’un jardin magnifique, 3 grandes piscines ombragées (dont 1 pour les baptêmes de plongée), lever de soleil splendide juste devant l’hôtel, bon petit dej, personnel très sympathique

Rien (et part peut être la faible pression d’eau à la douche mais rien de surprenant sur une si petite île)

Schone kamer, waar je staat te douchen in de prachtige natuur met rustige geluiden. Heerlijk ontbijt. Vriendelijke mensen van het resort. 2 zwembaden, je kan altijd lekker eten bestellen. Locatie, direct aan het strand. De duikcursus zeer aan te raden, wat een bijzondere ervaring!!

Eigenlijk niks.. misschien doordat we een babybed in onze kamer hadden, was het iets aan de kleine kant.

Facile da raggiungere perché non molto distante dal porto.

Il Manta Dive è una struttura molto carina e posizionata molto bene a Gili Air. Le camere sono bungalow immersi nella natura. Il Manta dive ha ovviamente il diving interno con ragazzi molto preparati e per chi non fa diving c’è la spiaggia davanti alla struttura dove si può fare snorkeling e vedere tantissimi pesci e con un po di fortuna anche tartarughe (io ne ho viste 3). Per chi non ama i coralli è bene munirsi di scarpette per entrare in acqua

La struttura è proprio fronte mare ma c'è pochissima spiaggia. Ci sono 2 piscine non molto grandi dove durante la giornata cadono diverse foglie Colazione buona da scegliere al momento alla carte. Si raggiunge facilmente dal porto in 10 minuti a piedi

La strutta molto semplice, il bungalow in cui abbiamo alloggiato era carino.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per 4 giorni. Purtroppo il servizio non è stato all’altezza delle aspettative. Al nostro arrivo non è stata effettuata alcuna procedura di check-in: ci hanno semplicemente chiesto il nome e accompagnati in camera, senza richiedere nemmeno un documento d’identità. Anche il servizio di pulizia è risultato insufficiente: il personale si limita a rifare il letto, senza sostituire gli asciugamani. Per averne di puliti è necessario richiederli espressamente alla reception. Inoltre, abbiamo avuto la sensazione che l’attenzione fosse riservata quasi esclusivamente agli ospiti che partecipavano alle immersioni. Non essendo subacquei, siamo stati praticamente ignorati per tutta la durata del soggiorno: un saluto all’arrivo e uno alla partenza, senza alcun interesse o attenzione nei giorni trascorsi in struttura.

Fijne duikfaciliteiten. Gemakkelijk toegang tot de zee. zeer behulpzame staf en een hangt een super chill sfeertje.

Wij hadden gemengde gevoelens bij de open lucht badkamer.

L’hôtel est probablement très bien pour des personnes expérimentées en plongée sous-marine car il permet un entre-soi.

Les équipements de l’hotel sont assez rudimentaires et nous avons trouvé le lit inconfortable : il grincait, il y avait des toiles d’araignée entre la tête de lit et le matelas et le drap avait une tâche. Aussi, nous avons demandé un service de laverie et le linge nous a été rendu avec des tâches. Il était finalement plus sal qu’à l’arrivée. De plus, le personnel de l’hôtel nous a recommandé un stand pour le snorkeling mais les prix étaient très chers et le monsieur n’a pas cessé de nous solliciter pour réserver avec lui.

A peine sorti de l'hôtel, très belle vue sur Lombok et ses montagnes, belle plage où l'on peut faire du snorkeling. Plusieurs très beaux spots de snorkeling accessibles en bateau. Ile très calme, pas de véhicule à moteur circulation à pied, en vélo, en scooter électrique ou en cariole à cheval.

Goeie plek op Gili Air. Veel leuke restaurantjes in de buurt. Aircon was good..

Onderhoud heeft wat aandacht nodig. Oude badhanddoeken. Geen nachtkastje is onhandig.

Convenient location. My three daughters and myself had an amazing snorkelling experience big thank you to Bacardi and Gili for looking after us. We felt safe and were taken to lovely spots to see turtles and tropical fish.

Lots of insect bites take repellent.

Nothing...we booked 4 nights but checked into another hotel in Gili Air after the first night (see the next section for why) We used the hotel (because we weren't going to get our money back) as a place to store stuff including some drinks and snacks when we went snorkeling during the day...but on the last day they tossed our stuff from the Fridge and started renovations on the room...before we even checked out! Yea they knew we weren't sleeping in there, but they tossed our stuff out even though we had payed for the room and started renovations! They offered us another room and gave us 50,000 IDR for the snacks and drinks they tossed out. Took the cash and declined the room...we were just there to grab our stuff and return the key.

Terrible place and unlivable. We booked 4 nights but checked into another hotel in Gili Air after the first night because it really was unlivable. Mosquitoes inside the room...and worse in the outdoor bathroom outside...we were afraid to use it during the night because of the swarms of them. If that wasn't bad enough...we had 2 giant cockroaches in the room as well that we had to kill (see picture). The wash basin had some giant poop from some bat or animal on it too...I get its outside, but we just checked in! And they tossed our stuff from the fridge and started renovations before we checked out. We weren't staying there, but we had payed for the room, so they had no right to do that.

L'accueil, quand on a fait plusieurs hôtels dans Bali et dans lesquels l'accueil était super, on est déçu. La climatisation fait beaucoup de bruit. Je pense que seul les plongeurs sont ravis.

Smutsigt rum. Trots att vi bett om rum med inomhustoalett som dom sa sig ha så var den ej inomhus utan i ett öppet utomhusrum. Vi hade besök av kackerlackor samt en STOR gecko som bajsade i rummet. Man får räkna med djur på rummet i Indonesien men detta rum kändes ofräscht, litet samt att kackerlackor inte är fräscht. Vi bodde i bungalown längst bort och det kändes väldigt avlägset. Poolen hade få solstolar och var inte ren. Hade ej bokat detta igen för den pengen.

ロケーションが最高に良かったです。港から歩いて10分くらいで安心感があります。ビーチの目の前なので濡れた体でもすぐ宿に戻れます。シュノーケリングツアーに参加しましたが集合場所もすぐ近くで楽でした。また、オープンな感じです。写真はバンガローなので森の中にあるように見えますが実際は木陰にあるくらいで、それより海側に開かれた空間が大変気持ちいいです。

泊まったバンガローは鍵が壊れていました。かなり安全な感じだったのと、バンガローの場所がそこまで手前でも奥でもなくそれなりに人目があるところなので気にしませんでしたが女性は気になるかも。
