Chill Out Bungalows

Had a lovely stay at chill out bungalows. Very comfortable, it has has everything that you would need. The staff is great and they really take care of you. The restaurant is good as well and the beach in front of the property is safe enough for an afternoon dip (it was low tide then). They really went out of the way to help us celebrate our anniversary with decorations, we weren't really expecting it and it really made our day! Thank you!!

The bungalows are clean and comfortable and set amongst a stunning garden. The location is on the best beach on the island. Great for swimming and excellent snorkeling just off to the side. The staff were so lovely, especially Lee who learned our names and was very warm. The breakfast, which was included, was fantastic. We also ate dinner here one night and it was delicious. We wish we'd eaten there more. The pool was a real plus when you wanted to quickly cool down without getting salty and sandy

Boats do park up on the beach late morning which is a shame but we were usually inside avoiding the heat at that time anyway so wasn't a big deal for us. The area is quite busy which we weren't expecting but we were able to avoid the busiest times and still have a lovely relaxing time here. Bars nearby sometimes played loud music into the night. It didn't really bother us because it was muffled but could bother very light sleepers. A couple of staff were a little too pushy trying to sell us snorkeling trips. We didn't mind the offer but the pressure was a little uncomfortable. But they didn't ask again which was good.

The location, the size of the property with only 5 bungalows made for a very quiet stay. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, even organised a speed boat to take us to Gili T and took our luggage to the port for us. The restaurant has great food, and the breakfast was more than enough food.

Que las habitaciones tuvieran una temática de colores. Nos tocó la habitación rosa y las sabanas de la cama y algunos adornos del dossel eran rosa. Parece una tonteria pero baja mucho el caché. Unas sabanas de colores neutros lo elevan

This was great accommodation. The stuff were absolutely amazing- so kind, welcoming and incredibly helpful. They gave us lots of useful information, helped with everything we needed. Location is perfect, central to everything. Food at the restaurant is the best we have had in Indonesia. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this place.

This was our third stay at Chill Out. We love it here. This time, we were so shocked that they had put in a pool. It really does enhance the place even more so than before (it was pretty perfect then). They’ve also done so many renovations to the restaurant etc. the place is beautiful! Spotlessly clean and real attention to detail, even down to the complimentary beach bags and flip flops. The staff at Chill Out are some of the friendliest people we’ve met during our travels through Indonesia, they instantly remembered us when we arrived and they really look after you. They are so hard working. Every evening they transform the beach into a stunning dining venue. Nothing quite like eating with your feet in your sand, wind in your hair and the sound of the ocean. Chill out is the perfect, most peaceful place, right on the beach.

Das Personal ist einfach super. Jeder Zeit zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Die Bungalows liegen hinter dem Restaurant (Chill Out Bar) und es ist trotzdem ruhig. Man bekommt von dem „Trubel“ nichts mit. In den Bungalows stehen Wasserspender, wo man eigene Flaschen auffüllen kann. Das Moskitonetz war sehr gut. Es steht ein schöner gemeinsamer Pool zur Verfügung. Das „Badezimmer“ ist offen und sehr schön gestaltet. Ebenso können wir das Frühstück sehr empfehlen. Man hat eine größere Auswahl von der Menükarte der Chill Out Bar. Auch Abends haben wir dort immer gegessen. Auch die Bar ist sehr gut und nur zu empfehlen. Auch das Personal ist top!

The bungalows are not „stunning“ but really nice and very well maintained with a cool pool in the ‚backyard‘ of Chillout Beach Club - which is a perfect location on Gili Air: incredible beach, near to Turtle Point, very well maintained Club through Chillout, AMAZING dinner BBQ (you can eat everything, it was just great including a fantastic salad buffet), very attentive and nice staff… we loved to feel so relaxed and different to a huge resort. You can just wake up in the morning, dive into the water, have breakfast, go snorkelling or diving, hang around at the beach and just eat dinner in a very casual way. Traveled with our kids who also absolutely loved this place.

The breakfast is nice but do not expect something like a huge buffet … it is really OK but just compared to dinner it‘s not the same experience.

Onze familiebungalow was een toppertje. Heerlijke bedden en badkamer in de buitenlucht. Van alle gemakken voorzien , koelkastje , tapwaterkraan, iedere dag flesjes water. Ligt ideaal op loopafstand van het strand , heerlijk eten in het restaurant en personeel is super vriendelijk. Je wordt echt in de watten gelegd.

L'accoglienza, la professionalità e il calore dello staff, che ci hanno fatto sempre sentire a casa. Ottima posizione sulla spiaggia, con lettini e ombrelloni di cui si può usufruire se si è ospiti della struttural oppure se si consuma al ristorante. Cibo buono e vario, oltre alla colazione che era inclusa nella prenotazione abbiamo spesso pranzato e cenato lì. Nel complesso siamo molto soddisfatti della nostra permanenza, ci torneremmo volentieri.

Location was perfect. Walk out of your bungalow and through the restaurant to get to the beach. All the staff were so happy and helpful. And the tunes the staff can play on pots and pans for someone's birthday where incredible. Pool was nice and secluded and just off the main street. Breakfast was great, almost too much but nice to have the choice. The beach is probably one of the best spots to walk in and snorkel it swim. Other parts of the island are quite rocky.

Hele mooie plek en een prachtige bungalow (familie). Enige nadeel (qua nachtrust voor ons gezin) was een beachparty bij de buren tot 4 uur in de nacht. Geen idee of dat elke week is of eenmalig.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chill Out Bungalows. Everything was simply perfect! The location is ideal—peaceful and relaxing, yet close to everything. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. It was by far the most peaceful place we stayed during our trip. Every evening, we enjoyed the delicious grilled fish at the restaurant. The food was always fresh, perfectly cooked, and absolutely outstanding. What truly makes this place special is the incredible team. A huge thank you to the entire staff for being so kind, welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. From the moment we arrived, we felt like part of the family. A very special mention for our son’s 10th birthday. The team surprised him by improvising a wonderful orchestra on the beach and celebrating with so much enthusiasm, kindness, and joy. It was a magical and unforgettable moment that touched our hearts. Thank you for making his birthday so incredibly special. After staying in several places during our trip to Indonesia, Chill Out Bungalows was by far our favorite. We leave with wonderful memories and will definitely come back. Thank you again to the entire team for your kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. You made our stay truly unforgettable. Leaving! We were genuinely sad to say goodbye. We honestly couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

I costi seppur il pesce buono e fresco, ben cucinato erano piuttosto elevati rispetto ad altro ristoranti della zona. Poca scelta nella colazione. Porzioni ridotte. Scelta tra caffè o tè. Non si poteva averli entrambi o avere un doppio caffè perché bisognava pagarlo separatamente. Fastidioso il fatto che le barche attraccassero tutte davanti alla nostra spiaggia. Alle 17:00 ti chiedono di togliere il lettino per preparare i tavoli per la cena

Séjour parfait à tout niveau. Hôtel propre, belle piscine au calme, joli bungalow avec terrasse. Le personnel est sympathique et au petit soin. J ai adoré cet hôtel ! Le restaurant est très bon.la salle de bain en pleine air est juste exceptionnelle 😍.

Henkilökunta ja sijainti olivat erinomaisia, ja myös aamiainen oli maistuva. Huone oli siisti, ja pienet yksityiskohdat kuten kylpyhuoneen viihtyisyys ja iso tankillinen puhdasta mineraalivettä lisäsivät viihtyisyyttä.

Musiikki soi iltaisin melko myöhään (loppui vasta noin 23-24 väliin), ja kuului häiritsevästi huoneeseen.

Personal maravilloso, lo mejor del alojamiento, siempre atentos y serviciales (excepto uno que solo quería vender los tours de snorkel de su amigo, insistiendo cada momento que te cruzabas con él...). Bungalow amplio y limpio, buena presión de agua. Alquiler de bicicletas a precio estándar de 50k por bici y día. Buena ubicación en la isla, playa sin gran afectación de mareas, bien para nadar en cualquier momento del día. Se escuchan poco los odiosos gritos de la mezquita, lo cual es una ventaja, especialmente en el rezo de las 5 de la mañana.

La ubicación es muy buena y la playa también, lástima que sea utilizada como embarcadero/puerto de múltiples barcos que sueltan a gente en el restaurante del hotel. Lo que debía ser una playa de encanto y el mayor atractivo del hotel se convierte en la imposibilidad de bañarte especialmente por las mañanas, una pena. Los bungalows están en la parte trasera del restaurante, has de atravesar el restaurante para acceder a ellos. Es habitual el ruido y música por la noche. En general esperaba una mejor experiencia por el precio pagado y por los comentarios leídos.

Our family of 4 (kids 17 & 15) had a brilliant 3 night stay on Gili Air with Chill Out. Right from check in we were struck by how lovely and friendly the staff were. They went the extra mile. We had the family bungalow and the beds are probably the most comfortable beds we’ve ever experienced on our travels. There is coffee and water in the room as well as a very useful little fridge. The semi outdoor bathroom and shower is brilliant. The pool was great for a cool down after a long day diving/snorkelling or just hanging out on the beach. The food in the Chill Out restaurant is top and special mention goes to Ayra for always looking after us and making us very little old friends. The location of Chill Out is ideal… close enough to the port and shops and right in the beach. The beach area and loungers are probably the best beach area in Gili Air. All in all a lovely stay? Highly recommended

If you stay on a Friday night you will be subjected to loud doof doof music literally all night. I was still awake at 4am. It was the topic of exhausted guests at breakfast the next morning. It would make me pick somewhere else next time.

Good location, right in front of the beach. The room is clean and bed is comfy, water dispenser and coffee/tea supply in the room are very handy. Bathroom very nice, clean and good water pressure. Staff are very nice and accommodating.

Breakfast was average and it's noisy on the weekend. Price is too high for the quality and location

Gili Air is an amazing island in itself, but Chill Out Bungalows and the restaurant are truly worth a visit and such a special experience 🤩 We stayed in a family bungalow with our two children, while my parents stayed in a regular bungalow for 4 nights — and we honestly could have extended our holiday there! The staff are some of the best we’ve experienced in a long time. They truly understand what personal service means, and it doesn’t matter who you meet — everyone is absolutely fantastic! They are amazing with children and constantly attentive to all the little details. The beach is beautiful, the cleaning is spotless, and the rooms are lovely. They also have a grill buffet with fresh fish among other things, and it is absolutely delicious! If you’re not lucky enough to stay there, do yourself a favour and spend a day on their beach or visit the restaurant — you won’t regret it 👏🏻 A huge recommendation from us, and thank you so much for making our visit to Gili Air something we won’t forget anytime soon! 🌴✨

The service is outstanding and lots of the staff members have worked there for many years. They're not trying to be nice, they take time, ask for feedback, are good conversationalists. The breakfast is generous and delicious. I suffer from dust allergies and the room was very clean. On the day we checked in, a staff member came to ask me if I had any issues with my allergies, and if they needed to do anything else. I felt well taken care of!The rooms are towards the back in of the property and quiet, while the sun loungers are directly on the beach. Just a short walk from the port too.

The only thing that we personally did not enjoy was the music, which fortunately was not always on.

Acomondation was beautifull, staff was absolutely lovely, friendly on the accomondation also reception and restaurant very helpfull they made everythinkg to keep us happy and it works perfectly. Thank you

Man fühlt sich sofort in der Unterkunft wohl. Der Bungalow bietet alles, was man braucht. Das Personal ist der Hammer. Wir wären noch sehr gerne länger geblieben. Auch das Frühstück ist erstklassig, eine super Auswahl. Alles, was wir im Restaurant gegessen haben hat super geschmeckt. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen.

Incredibly friendly personnel! Great location, close to the beach and Manta Dive if you are into that. Good breakfast overall. Close to other nice places around if you’d like to have something different to eat. The was very clean! Would recommend to a family.

床对于中国客人偏软，要注意的是周五和节日期间，酒吧的音乐有些吵

sehr nettes Personal. Neu renovierte Anlage. Schöne geräumige Bungalows mit offenem Bad. Wohn/Schlafraum mit Aircon, safe, Kühlschrank und Heisswasser für Kaffee. Super!!!! Frühstück mit leckerem Barista Cafe und frischem Saft. Dazu Eine reichhaltiges Auswahl. Das Restaurant ist hervorragend und bereitet leckes zum Mittag oder Abend zu.

Leider findet sich am Strand, wie überall in Indonesien, Plastikmüll. Das Personal reinigt regelmässig den Strandsnschnitt was das Gesamtproblem nicht löst.

Primer punto la atención de la gente, muy amables, te hacían sentir como en casa, siempre contentos! Germán, Mike, y todos los demás hicieron que nuestra estadía sea muy buena! Está en frente a la playa, lugar ideal donde la marea no influía en la playa. Hay reposeras para usar. El restaurante muy bueno y económico. Desayuno a la carta muy rico y abundante. El cuarto y baño estaban bien! En el cuarto te dejan agua mineral en botella y además un dispenser de agua frío calor. Te alquilan bicis ahí o cerquita del hotel.

Como detalle, la ducha tenía poca potencia y no era muy caliente.

We had great time at Chill Out Bungalows. Herman and the team took great care of us. Highly recommended. If you stay there, you should definitely wake up one day for sunrise at the beach.

Beliggenheden var fantastisk. Morgenmad og aftensmad virkelig god. Fantastisk grillet fisk. Man sad på stranden og spiste. Personalet var meget service minded og rigtigt søde. Man blev virkeligt godt behandlet.

Det eneste jeg kan bemærke ville være en mere hyggelig belysning ved bordene på stranden under aftensmaden.

We stayed in the family room with my kids (7&10 years). Accommodation was a great size, so so clean and I loved all the little personal touches they added to the room. Flip flops/jandals and a beach bag! So good. This was by far my favourite place to stay in all of Bali/Lombok. We dined at the restaurant and the staff were so fun and helpful. Aria helped us get a snorkelling tour and it was so worth it. I really cannot fault anything here. They also give you a water cooler in the room which is filtered, this is a game changer for the heat and saves on the plastic waste. I could really go on and on, we loved it! Thank you 🤩

Le bungalow était super propre et joli, la salle de bain extérieure était superbe et la chambre très agréable ! L'établissement était très fleuri, c'était très agréable !

La piscine était peut-être un peu petite mais en réalité rien de bien gênant puisqu'il n'y avait jamais grand monde et que la plage est juste à côté

Werkelijk alles, huisje, personeel, locatie, eten, Chill Out krijgt een dikke 10. Dank voor alles, we hebben een top tijd gehad. En we komen zeker weer terug.

Již jsem hodně procestovala ale tohle ubytování bylo nejlepší ze všech . Pohádkové ubytování bylo tam jen 5 malých domků s koupelnami, které byly nahoře otevřené. Výborná služba - nechali jsme si také vyprat prádlo. Chill Out je přímo na pláži s lehátkami, krásná čistá voda v moři s pískem. Perfektní jidlo v restauraci Chill Out, ale hlavně velmi přátelská, rodinná a nezapomenutelná atmosféra. Nejlepší velmi milí a vstřícní číšníci byli MIKE, ASMA and RAMDANI. Při odjezdu jsem brečela, neboť mi tam bylo tak báječně . Kdyby to nebylo tak daleko jezdím tam několikrát za rok. Vřele doporučuji

Hôtel sur la plage devant un spot de snorkelling très agréable. La chambre familiale est spacieuse, avec la piscine devant, idéale pour surveiller les enfants de la terrasse. L’espace bungalow est intime, préservé des regards car en arrière du restaurant. Le petit déjeuner est à la carte donc du choix. Pour l’anniversaire de notre fille, le personnel a personnalisé la décoration du lit et tous lui ont chanté happy birthday au rythme des casseroles. Un très bon moment. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil, attentionné et à l’écoute.

Le lit à étage grince beaucoup. La proximité du restaurant fait que nous avons des odeurs de barbecue toute la journée de l’espace piscine et du bruit le soir.

The upgrades in past 12 months are amazing. The staff are always amazing, they become like family and we continue contact. 3 years in a row now and we will continue each year. The restaurant on site serves grilled fish and all the smoke reaches the rooms and it was unpleasant. It was impossible to leave the hotel without smelling of smoke. The towels were not particularly clean but the cleanliness of the room was excellent.

Es war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt. Es gibt einfach nichts auzusetzen. Das Personal war super freundlich, kaum zu übertreffen. Das Zimmer war super sauber, gut ausgestattet und es fehlte an nichts. Danke für 3 wundervoller Nächte bei euch. Der Strand ist traumhaft, die Lage ist nicht weit vom Hafen, uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.
