Mt Fuji View and Private Sauna Ryokan Shizuku しずく

This is a beautiful resort! We stayed in the Suite A with a Mt. Fuji view. It is a very sizable room, with fabulous amenities. We loved the sauna and tub. Also, the Nordic influence was so fun with the gnomes and cinnamon rolls!

I wish Mt. Fuji would have peeked out from behind the clouds, but if he had, we certainly would have seen him from our room.

I have no words to describe the luxury and comfort of this place, stayed for only one night and it was the most relaxing of my life - room with private sauna, bath with Fuji water and Fuji view. Extremely incredible. Staff is super polite, calm and friendly. The public baths were empty so it was like private, also, such a gorgeous place. Breakfast was also a plus, very great one.

There’s nothing to mention, it was a perfect stay.

Le lieux est sublime et l’accueil incroyable, avec la vue c’est ce que nous avons le plus apprécié! Le jeune homme qui nous accueillit et la jeune femme a l’accueil était absolument adorable, d’une gentillesse incroyable! La vue sur le mont Fuji de la chambre était époustouflante, nous avons eu la chance que le ciel soit dégagée! Nous avons loué des vélo et fait le tour du lac, qui est magnifique et paisible! Je recommande vivement cette établissement et son personnel au petit soins. Merci l’équipe!

Pour le prix de la nuitée les vélos aurait pu être gratuit!

Wonderful place to stay by lake Yamanaka

Das Zimmer mit dem Blick auf den Mount Fuji war atemberaubend. Wir konnte ihn zum Glück sehen und es war eine tolle Aussicht. Die Sauna im Zimmer war auch toll, bei der Rezeption bekommt man sogar Eisbälle zum Auflegen auf den Saunaofen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war riesig und mit allem Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war lecker, man konnte aus Japanisch oder Norwegisch aussuchen (wir hatten das Norwegische). Man findet direkt vor dem Hotel einige Restaurants, wo man lecker essen gehen kann. Auf dem See haben wir auch ein Tretboot gemietet um den Mount Fuji auch vom Wasser aus zu bestaunen. Wir reisten mit dem Auto an, da es für uns die beste Option war. Direkt vor dem Hotel gibt es aber auch eine Bushaltestelle. Wir würden wieder kommen, für uns hat alles gepasst.

The view from our bed to Fuji San was incredible. The bed was so comfortable, the best bed of our 3 weeks travel!! The staff was supernice in helping us receiving and shipping our luggage and other questions. Excellent breakfast and dinner options. Sauna in room. We rented bikes at the facility and they gave a discount because we did not take the full day.

The value for money felt a bit off. 500€ per night, no breakfast included. But the room was so big, there where actually ‘booths’ where you could sit in. Why would you need that for 2 pax room. So we probably paid for that but it felt like a bit of waste of space and thus money. There is a bath outside but you can’t control the temperature of the water and the fence is so high you don’t have a view on the mountains.

Staff was very kind and give us full assistance for any kind of problem we ask for. The guy at reception was really helfpul. He even book us the ticket for our next trip to Tokyo

Incredible views of Mt Fuji and the private sauna and tub were exceptionally nice. The staff is hands down some of the most attentive of any place I’ve stayed. My only complaint is we didn’t have more time here.

Amazing location but the people are still the best asset of this place. The staff were very professional, very kind and very helpful. We felt like home or even better. We don’t remember the name of the mama her but he did. An extra mile in his hospitality, even brining us personally to the bus station. The food is excellent - we strongly recommend to book both breakfast and dinner at this place. The food is amazing and the view is perfect.

Очень вкусная еда, как на ужин, так и на завтрак. Буквально напротив отеля станция проката лодок. Очень рекомендую. Мы обязательно вернемся!

Love breakfast very much. They all were well prepared and very tasty. The breads is so delicious. May be add more selection of eggs menu ie fried eggs or boiled eggs.

Dining was in room but breakfast was required in restaurant. They should've been more clear with that.

The dinner is exceptional. We saw Fudzi literally 5 seconds on the sunrise period. All other day it was hidden by clouds. Sauna in the room is a nice advantage

A bit expensive but it’s ok

Rooms were super clean and comfortable. Bed was amazing and pillows were really soft. Sauna heated fast and it was amazing to sit in sauna and after dip in a cold tub of water from under mountain Fuji. Service was top notch and we felt really welcome. Onsen area was really relaxing and we had a really zen experience there.

Spacious, comfortable, clean, super friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast and dinner were superb. Stunning views of Mt Fuji inside our private sauna and the public baths were tattoo friendly!

Уборка в номере только по запросу, не первый eco friendly отель на моем опыте, но обычно заходят застелить кровать и выкидывать мусор, тут же нужно выставлять свой мусор за дверь если хочешь, чтоб его убрали, но это не критично т.к. можно было попросить об уборке

Le lieu était INCROYABLE ! Nous avons pris le Bain chaud sur la terrasse (chambre deluxe), aucun regret c’était au delà de nos attentes. Très spacieux, super propre, vraiment nous en restons bouche bée. Le personnel est très disponible et au petit soin je recommande !

We stayed for two nights, we were checked in 4 hours early, our bags were brought up to the room. The room had everything we needed for the duration and it was spotless. When spending that much on a room, it’s important to not have to leave it. A special mention to the ladies who hosted us for dinner and breakfast, including the chef. The food was “oishī”. They were very attentive and polite. Couldn’t thank them enough for making our time even more special. This was the 14/04, so again if the message could be passed on, we are so sorry we didn’t get their names. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

Not necessarily a negative but I did think with the photos advertised that we’d have a bath with an open view of Mt Fuji but instead our room was laid out so we had a closed bath and the sauna was in view. But that’s all down to preference. Also maybe to have a lower gate/balcony as it can be quite restrictive on the view of Mt Fuji, but also understand this, probably for privacy reasons.

The most amazing views from our Fuji facing room - wow! That will be a lifetime memory. Dinner was also excellent and the staff were very helpful (including before arrival in helping me book an express bus to Mishima)

It’s in between the lake and a perfect view of Mt Fuji right behind! So you have great views all around and lots around you! Easy walk to a 7-11 and the bus stops.

No bar/lounge Very limited menu for dinner. Also my husband and I turned up at hotel 12.30pm of course we were early but soaked to skin as the weather was horrendous. They kept our suitcases and told us ( very nicely of course ) to come back at 3pm. We then made our way to find somewhere to keep dry and something to eat. We are in our late sixties so the property was definitely not suitable for us as they only had stair at entrance.

Breakfast were excellent and staffs were always available and extremely helpful. We appreciated their exceptional services.

No me ayudaron con la modificación de la reserva ya que uno de los huéspedes no pudo viajar. Tuvimos que pagar el Pax completo, no aceptaron retirar ni siquiera los cargos de alimentos

Not worth cost of stay

Considering the amount of cost per night, no transport service from bus stop in the cold weather, limited customer service available, and the room was not how it appeared in photos. Cheap build and facilities.

It was an excellent stay. Clean and wonderful environment. Great staff.
