The advertised restaurant is closed, nearest restaurant with table service was a 15 minute walk. The room was exceptionally small, bed faced the door and tv was in side wall.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026De kamer was erg schoon. De bedden waren goed. We konden de auto gratis parkeren voor de deur. De dame achter de balie was erg vriendelijk.
De kamer is wat gedateerd. De lodge ligt aan een grote doorgaande weg waardoor je het verkeerd erg goed kan horen. Er was een airco maar deze kon de temperatuur niet omlaag brengen, waardoor het zo’n 27 graden in de kamer bleef. De koelkast maakte veel lawaai. Het restaurant was gesloten, waardoor we op zoek moesten naar een andere plek om te ontbijten, wat lastig was in dit dorp waar weinig te doen is.

The restaurant and bar was closed, which we didn't know about when we booked. Not good when you want something to eat as the hotel/motel is in the middle of nowhere. We did find somewhere to eat a drive away. Only good as a stopover to sleep.

Although the on-site restaurant wasn't open, there's a fantastic taco place just north of town. Best tacos I've had in years!

The biggest disappointment was that the restaurant was closed. That had been a big part of why we booked this spot- it had such a fun looking vibe. It was also disappointing that no one was at the front desk in the morning. We had been hoping to borrow some cutlery for breakfast in our room (since the restaurant was closed) and there was no one there to ask.

Although maybe outwith the host's control, the neighbours were very noisy coming and going frequently from their accommodation after 11 pm slamming the door, moving furniture, locking and unlocking their car and then they were up at 5am in the morning!

Reviewed May 30, 2026Im Zimmer waren zu wenig Handtücher, gab aber auf Nachfrage Nachschub. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, es gab kaum Ablageflächen für die Koffer. Leider war es sehr dreckig. Der Boden klebte, im Bett habe ich mehrere Tierhaare gefunden. Ebenso im Bad. Der Kühlschrank war nicht gereinigt und die Essensreste von unserem Vorgänger waren noch im Gefrierfach. Das Holz wurde wahrscheinlich kürzlich lackiert. Jedenfalls roch es eigenartig. Unser Fenster hatte einen großen Riss bei Ankunft(Einbruchversuch?) und auf dem Parkplatz wurde tatsächlich während unseres Aufenthaltes das Auto unseres Nachbars aufgebrochen und es wurden Sachen gestohlen.

The towels and bed linens were over the top perfumed, having been washed in scented laundry products, which caused a bad headache and made it hard to sleep. The restaurant wasn't open at 08:00 in the morning so started the day with no breakfast.
