The view was the best thing there

- The pool was green/modly and dirty even after saying that they cleaned it - there was cat poop everywhere around the common area / pool - cockroaches inside the bedroom - our door handle was broken, they said that someone will fix it but that someone never showed up - the mattress / pillows were dirty (yellow, you could see that they were old) - showers were broken, lights were non functional Overall the place looked like it lacks maintenance and everything was so old, Oceana was one of my favorite places to stay in Taghazout it’s unfortunate to see what it became..

We looked at Oceana because of it's location and economical value for a family of 5 who wanted an authentic surfing vacation. The staff was very accomodating and helped us by having a great time especially by organizing daily surf trips and supplying a car for us to experience paradise valley as well. Kudos to all of the staff but especially Hassan and our personal surf guide Anouar! You guys are the best and realy showed us excellent hospitality. The location of Oceana is unbeatable and the views are incredible. We would defintely like to come back.

Oceana has a great location and could be a premium destination. I think that the owner needs to take a moment and make some small renovations that would really improve the experience. I do not aggree with some of the negative comments that I have read because it is not being marketed as a premium hotel experience but as a surf camp. Also reopening the resturant maybe to serve only breakfast and snack, drinks throughout the day would be an option because the setup and rooms are already there. I truly hope you can make some upgrades before our next visit!

Very very dirty hotel, bedsheets so dirty , no towels no hand soap, furniture very old and most of them broken, its like an abandoned hotel, it has a lot of potential , not value the money at all

The views and the whole property have soo much potential. A bit of paint and new furniture by the pool would be a huge improvement..

Very dirty and run down, garbage laying around the property and broken old furniture everywhere would be better in the garbage then sitting around as an eye sore.

Słoneczny basen, czysty. Kameralny obiekt. Dobre położenie. Piękny widok z bssenu i tarasu. Miła obsługa. Bardzo podstawowe wyposażenie pokoju. To tyle z plusów. Obiekt ma olbrzymi potencjał. Natomiast jest zaniedbany.

Brudna, śmierdząca łazienka. Niewygodne materace, zurzyte poduszki, brak wiatraka w pokoju.

El personal muy atento y servicial. Trato excepcional. Las vistas desde la piscina y algunas de las habitaciones geniales. Desde otras habitaciones no hay vistas. Los colchones son cómodos. Las habitaciones con terraza tienen mobiliario que te permite quedarte comodamente en tu habitación

La infraestructura del hotel es muy buena, pero hay un poco de falta de mantenimiento. Pequeñas cosas como la cerradura de la puerta, la alcachofa de la ducha que se rompe o no encaja bien. La limpieza no es mala, pero podría mejorarse un poco. Con cambiar un poco esas pequeñas cosas el hotel sería inmejorable

Je tiens à signaler une mauvaise expérience concernant un objet oublié dans cet hôtel. Après mon séjour, j’ai oublié un jean avec une ceinture de marque Carrera ainsi qu’un sweat à capuche de marque Mammut. Après avoir contacté le responsable, on m’a confirmé avoir retrouvé le jean, mais sans la ceinture ni le sweat à capuche. Il est donc évident que ces objets ont disparu, probablement pris par le personnel de ménage. Depuis, malgré plusieurs tentatives pour recontacter l’hôtel afin d’avoir des explications, je n’ai reçu aucune réponse. Je suis très déçu par ce manque de sérieux et de professionnalisme. Je vous conseille donc de faire très attention à vos affaires personnelles

Apartamento em péssimas condições de habitabilidade: quarto das crianças sem lampada / casa de banho terrivel - suja, velha e sem condições; a cozinha não tem descrição - tudo enferrujado, sujo. Tivemos quase 2 dias a aguardar wifi. TV não funciona. Ouve se barulho do exterior. Mas na realidade, o que mais me incomodou foi o estado degradante do apartamento - não deveria ser possivel estar a ser promovido aqui.

The best view in the world. Go to sleep listening to the sound of waves some nights. Staff were friendly but reserved. Close to everything. Right on the ocean. Will return but get an eSIM rather. Can park your car. Pool is clean.

Loud parties next door for three nights until 11pm at night. Bring ear plugs. No internet connection. Despite trying regularly. Drops constantly. Forget remote working from there. Had to ask for clean towels and to have the room cleaned. Cats regularly defecate by the pool which smells. Had to ask the staff to clean it up, which they did to their credit. It’s expensive for the view.

Les lits sont très durs et vieux, oreillers de mauvaises qualités . Plus ou moins propre, toujours compliqué d’avoir du papier de toilette ou des serviettes de bain. Le personnel ne s’intéresse pas vraiment au clients. J’ai du réparer moi même ce qui tenait la pomme de douche avec de la corde😆 Je ne suis pas difficile quand je voyage mais la c’est un tout qui fait que le prix est beaucoup trop pour ce que c’est

They got my room wrong, I had to move twice, the bathroom stunk, the taps broken, bed super hard, nowhere to get a drink or anything to eat. So overpriced for what it is. It's such a shame as this place could be lovely, mid range place with a tiny bit of effort, fix things, a completely broken chair, a tap that leaked all over the floor, no where to put anything, only a bed in the room. It would take so little effort to make it nice, add furniture, a pretty lamp, nice towels, a tea & coffee making place, better lights. Either do that or lower the price as for Morocco & this standard it's really over priced. You're paying for the view, & that's lovely but everything else is below par.

La piscine, la localisation et les femmes de ménages super sympa.

Les gérants ne sont pas aimable, dans notre chambre (avec salle de bain commune) la poignée de porte tombait au moins 10 fois par jour… Il n’y avait jamais de papier toilette, nous devions toujours demandé à l’accueil de nous en donner sachant que les gérants étaient à l’accueil 1 fois sur 5… L’odeur des égouts insoutenable ! Le restaurant inexistant.

Je vous recommande d’envoyer quelqu’un incognito voir de lui même. La vue sur la mer est magnifique, le reste nul. Aucun confort, douche en piteux état, moisissure partout; contrariés par la situation, nous n’avons pas pris de douche (j’ai ouvert l’eau, ça giclait partout). Minimum de drap fourni alors qu’il fait froid.. Nous sommes arrivés vers 16h30 et dès le réveil, nous avons quitté vers 6h30/7h00. En arrivant, nous sommes sortis donc le détail vu après et ce qui fait que nous ne pouvions quitter (je voulaus le faire mais ma conjointe ne voulait pas de problème!). Ce taudit ne vaut pas 900 dirhams par nuit. J’ai voulu parler au gérant, introuvable et ne répond pas sur son cell (les employés gentils mais n’y sont pour rien et je n’étais pas gentil avec eux, je m’en excuse). Je me suis fié à Booking, ce n’était pas un lieu à recommander et pas à ce prix.

La chambre était très sommaire: pas de cintres ni de crochets, pas de table ni de lampe de chevet, des draps très usés. La douche pas toujours bien propre et manque de papier toilette

The view from the room was absolutely beautiful. There was a balcony with a direct view of the pool and the ocean, which was definitely the highlight of the stay. The room had plenty of natural daylight, which made it feel more pleasant and open. It was also nice to have access to a pool. The staff were very polite, friendly, and helpful. Their attitude was warm and respectful, and they always tried to assist when needed.

Considering that I paid over 70 euros per night, the overall condition of the hotel was disappointing. The building is very old and clearly needs renovation. The room looked worn out, with damaged walls and a general feeling of neglect. The shower smelled unpleasant, like old pipes, and the shower head was broken and spraying water to the side. There was very little soap provided, and no towels were left in the room — I had to go and ask for them. The curtains were also slightly torn. Overall, the hotel feels outdated and not worth the price asked for this level of comfort and condition.

ATTENTION ils vous font payer à l'arrivée et ce n'est pas le même montant que ce qui est écrit ici. Vérifiez bien quand ils changent de monnaie car j'ai eu la surprise en voyant le montant sur mon compte et quand je suis revenue vers eux le lendemain ils ont dit qu'il fallait qu'ils voient avec le manager (et évidemment il n'est jamais là). Malgré cela, le séjour n'était pas très plaisant dans cet établissement. On entend tout ce qu'il se passe. Il n'y aucune intimité. Il y avait une soirée un soir et un autre d'autres occupants parlaient sur leur terrasse. Très dur de dormir. Par ailleurs les lieux sont sales. Les toilettes, la salle de bain et les draps n'étaient pas propres et ce dès l'entrée et personne ne vient faire le ménage pendant une semaine ! Les photos ne reflètent pas la réalité. C'est très sommaire et tout est vétuste. C'est dommage car l'emplacement est idéal...

The room has no outside windows and no a/c- there are small windows, one that opens to the interior corridor which allows people to see into the room and one that opens to some sort of a utility closet. If you open these both you can’t even get a breeze through the room. If you’re Irish, English, otherwise from a colder country you will be very very uncomfortable in this room. I didn’t check to see when booking if the room had an exterior window because at home I don’t believe it would even be legal to have a bedroom without a window, for reasons of fire safety/egress.

The stay was disappointing. The toilet had a bad smell and was very close to my room, which made it uncomfortable. It was also near the boys’ dormitories, which I didn’t like, and the bathroom was shared. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.

The property had a cool pool, especially nice at night, which was the highlight of my stay. However, the toilet smelled bad and was shared, and its location near my room and the boys’ dormitories was inconvenient. It wasn’t the best experience overall.
