Our hostess, Angie, was very kind, friendly, and helpful! The B&B was beautiful Victorian style, each room had a slightly different decor that matched the Victorian period. Angie's varied breakfasts were delicious! The location was excellent; the neighbourhood homes were beautiful, and it was an easy walk to the interesting historic downtown.

I don't think anything could have been improved. The Carriage House B&B exceeded our expectations!

The room was small. It had two small windows, but one was behind the wardrope and the other was closed by the air-condition machine. The fridge was in the corridor for use by all guest - however it was empty and we were thr only users

The inn is charming with beautiful derails and our room was very comfortable. The very best memory of our stay was the inn keeper Angie. She was a wonderful host who did everything she could to make our stay perfect.

The Carriage House is a historic building with quirks and character in a wonderful location with easy access to walking trails and downtown Fredericton. It is an old building so anyone thinking of staying should adjust their expectations accordingly - if you want modern and fancy then this is not for you but if you want history, family heirlooms and eccentricity then you'll love it.

Very little - finding the bathroom light switch (behind the door) was a challenge....

Ein wundervolles ehrwürdiges Haus, das unglaublich viel Charme ausstrahlt! In einer sehr schönen Straße von Fredericton mit vielen schönen Highlights und Restaurants in Laufweite. Highlight war der wunderschöne Frühstücksraum mit vielen netten Gästen an großen Tischen!

Breakfast limited choice. No coffee making facilities in the room. No shampoo or conditioner in room. Good location.

Room only serviced once in our five day stay.

Historic offering a unique experience.

The bedroom was fine but the shared spaces, needed attention in terms if general repair & maintenance.

Staff were amazing Stacey the host was fantastic, breakfast in the morning was incredible and was nice chatting to the other guests. Perfect location near downtown, lots to do.

The manager,Angie, was friendly and most helpful. She went out of her way to accommodate us. The house was well situated on a lovely street and close to downtown. Good parking. ,

The room was small, with little space for luggage. Breakfast was good but the same options both mornings.

The location is great, in a lovely neighbourhood , close to downtown. The old house is lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. It was wonderfully quiet during the night even though all the rooms were occupied. There was a mini fridge on our floor for the guests to use as needed. This was unexpected and quite welcomed as we had leftovers from our supper.

The door handle was missing to access our bathroom, which made it awkward to close and open it. I understand a new one had been ordered. The breakfast was ok, but we expected more for the price, compared to other places where we stayed recently. Finally, it took at least an hour to receive the WIFI information by textingafter we arrived. This should really be available on arrival in every room as part of any required information.

Lovely property; perfect location. You can easily walk to a nice brewery or to main street Fredericton where you can find nice restaurants.

L’emplacement est parfait, 10 minutes à pied de la rue Queen et des restaurants et spectacles. La chambre c’était parfait, avec la sensation d’être chez soi , très confortable. Mais un peu de rénovation ferait du bien, pour redonner un peu de fraîcheur à la maison. Déjeuner c’était correct, mais sans surprise.

Rien tout était selon nos attentes et même plus.

Location was perfect as one reason we were in Fredericton was the Saturday morning 5K parkrun, which was only a 5-minute walk from the inn. Since this is a converted mansion home, the rooms are a bit small, particularly the bathroom and its shower. However, the place has a lot of character and gathering spaces, such as the front porch and dining room. Angie, in charge of the inn, was fantastic.

No coffee before 8:40. No breakfast available when we sat at 8:25 as 4 orders ahead of us. No spare bedding. We were cold at night. No shampoo or soap in the shower. Broken towel rail so nowhere to Hang towels. We didn’t need ac but other did it was incredibly noisy. Overall not good

Angie, your host, hotel manager, concierge, Majordomo, and breakfast cook/server is amazing and will make your stay a pleasure. The building, a very old and once grand house, has nice common areas including a front porch which we enjoyed. Great breakfast, lovely co-guests, and a charming old setting made the stay a plus.

The building and rooms are a little tired, but very clean. The owner of the place could spend a couple of $ updating some of the basics.

L'atmosphère, l'accueil de Angie, communication fluide et le petit déjeuner succulent.

Pas de ventilation dans la salle de bien, pas de crochet dans la salle de bain. On avait pas accès à une bouilloire pour le thé en soirée. La salle commune a été accessible mais sur demande. Cet endroit est beau mais c'est Angie qui nous donne le goût de retourner!

Location was very convenient for sight seeing and restaurants and museum.

Sehr liebe Gastgeberin, wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Einrichtung ist -Vintage - trotzdem gab es Klimaanlage und Badezimmer mit kleiner Dusche und WC, sowie TV und gut funktionierendes Wifi. Das Bett war sehr großzügig. Wir sind beide über 180 und fanden sehr gut Platz. Parkplatz war unkompliziert hinter dem Haus und im Preis inbegriffen.. Empfehlungen für Abendessen wurden gemacht und von uns umgesetzt- wir haben es nicht bereut, alles innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Einfaches , sehr gutes Frühstück - wurde den Tisch serviert.

Das wird nur eine Nacht da waren.

Nous avons apprécié l’architecture typiquement victorienne de la maison et l’accueil chaleureux d’Angie. La maison était bien située et nous pouvions tout faire à pied. Le déjeuner était excellent.

The Carriage House Inn is so warm and welcoming. By far the best accommodations on our trip to the east coast. We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

The whole place is beautiful, a very comfortable room. A nice breakfast each morning. The hostess was very pleasant and was available for any questions you might have. Great location to the downtown area everything was within walking distance.

They could use new AC units in the rooms, the ones that are there now are pretty old and very loud needed to shut them off at night to be able to sleep.

Angie is an exemplary host and made me feel most welcome. She also pointed out places of interest within walking distance. Lindsay did a wonderful job of serving breakfast. The best breakfast I had in seven weeks of hotel stays. There's plenty of free parking and easy access to the Trans Canada Trail, the Beaverbrook Gallery as well as the legislature. It's a grand old home in a beautiful part of Fredericton.

Fantastic location. Easy walking distance to the downtown shops and the walking trails. It was lovely to see inside one of the large, old houses in Fredericton.

The AC unit in the room was a bit loud.

Location location location. Angie was very helpful in giving us pointers on where we can go for points of interests and food. Always smiling and ready to help. Breakfast was very good as well!

De Inn ziet er echt mooi uit. Van buiten en binnen. De sfeer die het uitademt is geweldig. Locatie is prima.

Als je met een oud pand hebt te maken, dan is er meestal gebrek aan stopcontacten. Hier ook. En er liggen allerlei snoeren van andere apparaten door de kamer. Daar zou iets meer aandacht voor mogen zijn. De kamer die wij hadden, was daardoor een beetje rommelig. En het ontbijt: als je alle tijd hebt is het niet erg om 20-25 minuten op je à la carte ontbijt te wachten (zeker als alle gasten tegelijk beneden komen), maar als je andere plannen hebt, dan zit je te lang te wachten en zit niks te doen. Zou ik anders organiseren.

The breakfast was very good. We would suggest that at arrival time at Carriage House the receptionist provides a card with next mornings breakfast menu. It would provide the options of what is available to eat. The guest would fill in their names, menu choice and time to be served. This would save time and energy. Thanks.

Super nette, hilfsbereite Besitzerin. Man fühlt sich wie in eine andere Zeit versetzt. Die Terrasse vor der Türe ist schön um etwas abzuschalten.

Es wäre schön wenn man Nachmittags noch einen Kaffee oder Tee bekommen könnte, oder es die Möglichkeit gäbe such selbst einen zu machen.

Historic building with some great antiques on display in the common areas. Set up like a house with a large living room for breakfast and relaxing. Right in downtown Fredericton, only 10 minutes or less to the Beaverbrook art gallery, the Garrison District and restaurants. Large bedrooms, unique stay. Breakfast was really good.

Because it’s old it has it’s quirks like washrooms that are private for each room but across the hall from the bedroom. One or two door handles were a bit too small/felt like they were going to fall off. Attention to detail was a little bit relaxed. Paying was a little bit confusing.

Beautiful historic home in a great location. Loved the historical touches and the grounds are wonderfully kept and colorful!

I accidentally pulled the bathroom doorknob off a couple of times. It didn’t impact the quality of our stay in any way, I was just a little concerned at the beginning that we may encounter another slightly delicate item or two 😅

It is ideally located as it is proximal to the downtown area with easy access to a number of great amenities. The breakfast was outstanding.

I can’t think of anything negative.

The room was great. It had an almost Victorian feel to it as it was filled with an eclectic collection of antique furniture and decor. Not without some mod cons like a flat screen, fridge and several outlets to charge up your numerous devices. Great location, just a ten minute walk to great restaurants, The Beaverbrook Art Gallery and the historic Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge. The breakfast is so fabulous that we keep going back! Angie makes the best blueberry/banana pancakes in the world! There’s bacon and eggs, cereal, granola, fruit and I can’t remember everything else because I’ll always have the pancakes. …and the parking is free.

I didn’t like that I had to leave. If you like cookie cutter McMotels this might not be your cup of tea. If you think that you might want to try staying in a 150 year old former lumber baron’s mansion this will be a pretty enjoyable experience.

It is located right beside the river in a quiet, residential neighbourhood. The walking bridge that crosses the river was a short distance away, for great views of the Saint John river and with a superb brewpub on the far shore. Several other good restaurants are within an easy walk with magnificent old manors overlooking the streets along the way. The included breakfast offered a choice of three healthy and delicious options, served in a large dining room in the company of other guests.

A very interesting Victorian mansion with warm hospitality. The lively night market in Fredericton was an unexpected bonus.

Situé à 10 minutes à pied du centre ville dans un très beau quartier très sécuritaire. Belles pistes cyclabes. Beaucoup de restaurants. Les déjeuners sont très bien plusieur choix. Très belle accueil. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour.

L’emplacement, le quartier est tranquille et très jolie. Belle accueil et les déjeuner sont correct, prenez les pancakes elle sont délicieuse 🙂

The bed was made up with dark polyester sheets. The quilt and matching pillow shams are not changed between guests. This was not to our taste. The king room we stayed in required redecorating as did the en suite bathroom. No means of making a hot drink in the room.

Wonderful stay with a fabulous and kind innkeeper! Delicious breakfast, lovely room (an upgrade: thank you!!), near the nice town with lots of good dining choices! GREAT!

I liked everything

Great location for walking to downtown area and for the Bill Thorpe walking bridge to cross the river. The hostess was extremely helpful and proactive. Good atmosphere and location for breakfast with the opportunity to meet with other guests and share their travel experiences.

Although the property had great charm and character it also felt as if it needed some investment in the maintenance of some areas, such as the shower cubicle in the room we used and to have Aircon in all rooms.

#6 Mattress could be updated to something more firm. The carriage house in the back is so neat and would make a great guest house if rebuilt to the same look.

This place is amazing! A step back in time to the Victorian period with beautiful furnishings and wonderful art.

The bed was huge however the mattress was a little hard.

The property manager Angie was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond in every way and made our stay truly special. She is the reason we would consider cooking back to this property.
