Budget friendly motel with nice pub attached. The pedestrian bridge nearby means the city centre is within walking district. A very short walk to Picaroons brewery and restaurant was a bonus.

The pub did not stay open very late on certain days.

L'emplacement est très bien situé, près de l'autoroute pour un retour facile vers le Québec. Un restaurant-bar est sur place, ce qui nous a évité d'en chercher un dans la ville. Auto stationnée juste devant notre porte. Le prix de la chambre (128 $ + taxes), on a payé bien plus cher ailleurs dans les maritimes pour une chambre similaire. Puisque nous partions avant l'ouverture de la réception, on n'avait qu'à laisser nos clés dans la chambre.

Pas de cafetière dans la chambre. On pouvait aller se chercher du café à la réception à compter de 8 h le matin, mais comme nous partions très tôt, on a dû s'en passer. Un dépôt de 300 $ nous a été facturé en plus du prix de la chambre. Heureusement, il nous a été crédité parce qu'on a laissé la chambre en ordre. Je comprends que l'hôtel se protège, mais je ne m'attendais pas à devoir débourser un montant supplèmentaire.

Mold in the bathroom could easily be removed with Zep ~ not really acceptable to not have it cleaned up

des rideaux qui se ferme pas. on aurait qu,il était sec raide , on a du se débrouillé pour réussir a fermé le rideaux , en plus du paiment on nous demande un paiement préauthorisé de 300.00 dollard en cas ou , la seul place qui a fait dans notre voyage ..et le bruit pres de la rue

This older motel is located centrally and has good pub/restaurant (Cannons' Cross) adjoining it, which we appreciated after a long trip. The rooms have been partially renovated, the linens and artwork were attractive, and the bed and pillows comfortable. The room was very clean.

The accommodation struck us as a bit stingy in a few areas. Our room offered only one night table and lamp for two people who like to read in bed. No luggage rack. Very few outlets - so had to hunt to find one for phone chargers. The room is carpeted, and inevitably the carpet has a rather musty odour. They should lose the carpet. The rooms have no coffee maker or kettle; coffee was listed as provided in the lobby, and this was true, but there was simply a pod machine, no tea, and no cream or milk the morning we stayed. Easy to upgrade these features.

L'établissement est propre mais aucune prise pour le branchement des téléphones, le tapis était désuet. Notre chambre donnait sur la rue, donc beaucoup de bruit la nuit.

Tout était parfait. Endroit tranquille aussi, beaucoup de choix de restaurants à proximité.

Reception was courteous and friendly. The young lady at the desk was the quiet sort, which was a bit hard to hear. The room served our purpose. It was clean, the bed comfortable and the hot water in the shower, abundant. The caulking on the tub surround could use attention.

The sheets were stiff and somewhat scratchy.

Provided what we needed. The staff was very nice. Easy walk to downtown via the rail bridge

Clean, quiet space, with access to a great walk across the St. AJihn River, as well as a lovely coffee shop and brewery.

Everything was so clean and in a perfect location! Staff were amazing and accommodating. Exceeded my expectations! Definitely will be back!

It wasn't out of the way and was easy to find. We got there a little early but had no trouble checking in. The gal gave us a different room because she said it would be farther from the highway and would be more quiet.

The lighting wasn't the greatest. There was a bulb out above the sink and the toilet roll holder was missing one side. There wasn't enough outlets.

We were in the area a couple of months ago, to a different motel. We will certainly return to Fort Nashwaak in future visits. Very clean, great staff. 😊

All very nice

The room was spacious, clean, and nicely furnished. There was no breakfast, but coffee was readily available in the lobby. The people working the reception desk were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We had car trouble and needed to have it fixed. The repairs took two extra days, and the motel staff were able to let us keep the same room, although we only let the know one day at a time that we needed it longer. That was very nice. Such a relief that we did not need to look for another place to stay while we did not have access to our car.

Great location!! Close to downtown area. Responsible staff. Also, there was an unexpected issue with the toilet in our room, but we really appreciated their quick action to dealing with the issue.

There was a safety hazard protruding from the ground that someone could have tripped over. It was just outside our room. It was a tube. There was no safety bar in the shower. There were no extra blankets, but we got them when we asked.

The toaster and kettle weren't very clean. There is no curtain in the bathroom window. No actual blanket/comforter just sheets and the fuzzy blanket thing. Need to bring extra pillows also, only 2 in room and they were flatish

Very clean room that had obviously been refurbished in recent memory. Well outfitted room with mini fridge and microwave. Unbeatable cheap price in a city where even modest chain hotels are breathtakingly expensive. And always nice to park at the door of our room.

Very few electrical outlets. We had to unplug the TV to set up our charging station. Internet varied in quality. But given a clean comfortable room at this economical a price, we’re not complaining!

I like the convenience of not going into hotel and using stairs or elevators and lugging my things. This is very close to what I was doing in Fredericton.

The only thing that I can say was that I didn’t have an iron and ironing board for the morning

Charming and cozy motel! For a motel stay, it offers exactly what you would expect and hope for. The woman at check-in was very friendly, the rooms were spotless, and both the bathroom and beds were clean and comfortable. Parking right in front of the room was very convenient, and both check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. The location is also lovely, situated close to the water. Overall, definitely recommended for a motel stay!

The only downside was the lack of a coffee machine or at least a kettle in the room, which I would consider part of standard motel amenities. That’s why I’m deducting one star from what would otherwise have been a perfect stay.

Conveniently located. Hot water with great water pressure. I found the bed very comfortable. Staff was very helpful when I had a very late check-in.

I couldn't get the TV to work despite 2 remotes. Although it is 100% smoke free it seemed there were people smoking in the central hall every night. The door to the hallway had no lock on the room side of the door.

Bed was rock hard No comfort at all after a long drive from Montreal. The shower was broken. Only sent scalding hot water to the shower head, no cold at all sent to the shower head.

Dated room. 1/2 inch gap on room door could see daylight. Didn’t smell great in the room. Although bathroom looked clean the rust on the bath tub and other spots made it look not so clean.

It was easy to find and easy to unload our stuff as we could back right up to our room, just what we like!

A tv station card would be helpful!

This place was great. Some online reviews had various criticisms, and we didn't have any problems. Staff were fantastic, value for money was awesome, rooms were HUGE. The attached pub was great, but not disruptive. We walked downtown across the pedestrian bridge a number of times; bus service was good but a bit indirect. Lots of amenities nearby.

The receptionist was friendly and polite. The rooms are on the ground floor and adjacent as request. Rooms are smaller than expected not spacious enough. The toilet was leaking and water was coming out whenever we flush.
