Brilliant location. Good sized clean room. Quiet with windows closed and aircon on. Helpful staff. Decent restaurant for dinner. We only paid for basic double room which looked onto alley and back roof where kitchen extraction fan was but with windows closed was fine.

No tea or coffee making facilities in room. Surprising as in all my travels on 5 continents this is the only place where this had been missing. I also need boiling water for my medication. Luckily I asked and they supplied me with a kettle and mugs.

Bathroom:when having a shower it floods the bathroom, sealing of glass shower wall need replacing they are funky and broken… hairdryer flimsy

excellent location right in the middle of the Altstadt around the corner from everything (Getreidegasse, Dom, Cafe Tomaselli, Fürst, Festung Hohensalzburg, Mönchsberg, etc.). Beautiful old house, very well kept, very clean. The rooms are small though (a bit like in NYC hotels). Good breakfast with all essentials. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Staff was helpful and professional. We traveled with two other couples. Two of us had such tinmy rooms it was difficult to move around without the other person having to stand in a corner. The third couple had a fantastic room. Large room with a bigger bathroom. I would not stay here again. If I had the room in the corner.

Η τοποθεσία ήταν εξαιρετική. Η κράτησή μου δεν περιλάμβανε πρωινό. Προσπάθησα τρεις φορές να φαω στο εστιατόρια: την πρώτη η κουζίνα έκλεινε, τη δεύτερη οι θέσεις ήταν προκρατημένες και την τρίτη το εστιατόριο έκλεισε για διακοπές.

Μια μέρα το κρεβάτι βούλιαξε καθώς κοιμόμουνα. Επικοινώνησα με τη ρεσεψιόν και ήρθε άμεσα ο υπάλληλος που το έφτιαξε. Πολύ ευγενικός αλλά δε μου ζήτησαν καμιά επίσημη συγνώμη ούτε μου πρότειναν μια αποζημίωση ακόμα και την παραμικρή. Επίσης στο μπάνιο δεν υπήρχε πόρτα που να περιορίζει τα νερά και ήταν πολύ άβολο. Και η παραμικρή παροχή σαπουνιού οδοντόβουρτσας κλπ.

Lage in der Altstadt, Zimmer sehr gut aber nicht sehr gross

Perfekte Lage für Besuch Festspielhaus, Domplatz- Jedermann, gutes Frühstück, ganz netter, hilfsbereiter "Jungchef", ca.12/13 Jahre alt

Im Juli ein Zimmer für 352€ gebucht in der Annahme um diesen Preis ein schönes Zimmer zu bekommen. Bekommen haben wir eine kleine Kammer mit 12m2,winziges Bad, die gesamte Nacht das Geräusch einer Lüftung vor dem Fenster, kein Platz zum Abstellen der Koffer. 1 Monat später hat auf booking die Kammer 182€ gekostet - last minute Angebot, reiner Nepp.. Preis/ Leistung extrem schlecht, sehr unfreundlichèr Mann an der Rezeption, wir waren schon vorher im Elefant...Nie wieder!

Очень маленький не правильной формы номер 20 м2 в программе было другое описание номера . В холодильнике стояла половина выпитая кола . В ванной отсутствуют зубные щетки . Когда я приехала то был праздник и все магазины были закрыты. В номере вода была только за деньги . Я часто останавливалась в этом отеле , но сервиз сейчас испортился . И огромный кондиционер висит прямо над кроватью и дует прямо на спящего . А если выключить то будет жарко( все хорошо но осадочек не тот((( но отель хороший, просто берите с собой воду!!! И просите номер больше чем 20 м2

Lage ist großartig

Location was perfect, shops, restaurants and attractions all within walking distance. The room was fabulous, very clean and spacious. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant next door, the food was excellent. Staff were helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

The hotel is ideally located to explore Salzburg or to attend the Salzburg Festivals. We asked for a quiet room and it was quiet.

The bathroom was very small resulting that a shower flooded it partially and very little space to store items. The bed was comfy and high, but narrow creating sometimes the impression that you would fall off.

Very poor welcome when we arrived. Totally overpriced even though the location was good. Room needed a lot of attention and the shower luxuries weren’t there. No separate shower gel, conditioner, body lotion available. Tired dressing gowns and towels.

Der Empfang durch Ihren Kollegen war außerordentlich aufmerksam und sehr freundlich.

Am morgigen Tag fand ich es nicht so schön, dass die Dame vom Putzpersonal direkt vor unserem Zimmer verweilte, damit sie nach unserer Abreise das Zimmer putzen kann. Ich habe mich nicht so wohl gefühlt, dass sie im Prinzip direkt vor unserer Toilette verweilte. Das ist sicherlich bezüglich unserer Zimmer Nummer geschuldet und hat andere Gäste nicht tangiert.

Air conditioning went down to 18C! If you are headed to Switzerland, A/C does not exist. Location was key - can take buses anywhere you want!

Facilities were a little small but that is the only "complaint" we had.

The location is fantastic and we really enjoyed the on-site restaurant and our particularly helpful waiter. The room was modern and up to date, and the public areas were especially nice - which added to the character of this old hotel.

The elevator was quite small, but it was really no problem for the two of us and our baggage.

The location was excellent, offering easy access to the restaurants, shops, and attractions along Hallstatt's main street. The property was exceptionally clean, and the staff was warm, friendly, and accommodating—even gladly providing us with a cup of ice when we asked. Our room was spacious, with plenty of room to comfortably manage four suitcases and two backpacks. The in-room air conditioning was a lifesaver during the unusually warm weather, and the elevator made transporting our luggage to the second floor effortless. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again on our next visit to Hallstatt.

Unfortunately, our room overlooked the wall of the neighboring building, which was only about three feet away. As a result, very little natural light entered the room, making it feel dark even during the day. One minor inconvenience was that the restaurant attached to the hotel could make access to the entrance a bit crowded at times. Outdoor tables lined both sides of the steps, and guests waiting for a table often gathered near the restaurant entrance inside, making it a little cumbersome to enter and exit the hotel.

No tea making facilities in the room. At reception I was given a kettle on request. As it was Sunday the restaurant was closed. So I could not get a cups and saucers. The staff at breakfast buffet did not explain how the buffet worked. We were only asked about room number. The black out curtain dimensions were not adequate to keep out the light.

Die Lage war sehr gut, dass Personal war ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Zimmer waren sauber und hatten eine schöne Ausstattung.

Die Vorhänge waren leider nicht so Dick wie sie aussahen. In der früh bei den ersten Sonnenstrahlen haben diese nicht viel Licht aufgehalten.

Our room was huge! I believe it was the executive room, so there was lots of space. The property is right in the center of everything. Very convenient if you’re pressed for time and want to see the sites: the fort, the cathedral, the plaza… and Mirabel Palace is about a pleasant 15 minute walk over the river.

I think for the price, they should have complimentary water when you walk in the lobby, especially during the summertime. Other hotels do it, and I think it’s a nice touch for tourists spending the day exploring the city.

Tiny room, shower overflowed into the bathroom, some staff members were less than helpful (e.g. every guest is entitled to a free Salzburg Guest Mobility card, but we had to remind reception and they still printed it out instead of emailing it to us).

Location and the view from windows (you can see the fortress) are great. The room is actually bigger than what I booked!

The staff were friendly, approachable and were willing to help out with any questions. The room was spacious and quiet, even the the hotel is located in a busy area with lots of foot traffic.

Keine direkten Parkplätze vorhanden. Parkhaus ist zwar zu Fuß zu erreichen aber nicht unbedingt kostengünstig.

This hotel is in the middle of old town. Walking distance to all attractions, public transportation is free with a visitors pass. The breakfast was fabulous. We had an amazing time!

Wifi connection and phone service was weak but otherwise it was perfect.

Ótima localização, mas o banheiro, pelo menos do meu quarto, muito pequeno e molhava o chão do banheiro todo, inclusive tive medo de usar o secador pq ficava uma possa de água no chão, poderiam deixar ali um rodinho, para facilitar. E o café é bem simples também. Pelo valor, não valeu a pena.

Ich hatte verschlafen und hätte fast meinen Zug verpasst. Ein Anruf bei der Rezeption hat genügt und einnTaxi wurde gerufen und der Checkout ging auch extrem schnell, super Service!!

Da das Zimmer nur ein kleines Fenster hat, ist es etwas dunkel. Man hat aber diverse Lampen, leider hat die Stehlampe gebrummt,wenn man sie runtertrimmen wollte. Ansonsten alles Klasse.

Das Bad ist zwar sehr schön eingerichtet, aber die (offene) Dusche ist so klein , dass man es nicht schafft, nicht das ganze Bad anzuspritzen. Eine zweite Glaswand wäre ideal. Das Bad inklusive WC ist einfach zu klein.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt: zentral mitten in der Stadt und dennoch angenehm ruhig. Auch das Restaurant konnten wir an einem lauschigen Sommerabend im Freien genießen – eine wunderbare Atmosphäre.

Очень удобное расположение отеля-самый центр. Очень близко до всех культурно-исторических объектов. Очень тихие номера с выходом во внутренний двор. Шикарный кондиционер...очень хорошие душевые, в номере был диван, кресла, чайник.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal

Unser Zimmer war sehr klein (höchstens 10 m²), so dass man die eine Seite des Bettes kaum erreichen konnte. Es lag sehr ruhig im 3. OG, ging aber auf einen dunklen Küchenhof. Wegen der ständigen Küchengerüche konnten wir das Fenster nicht zum Lüften öffnen, sondern mußten die Klimaanlage verwenden.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Rezeptionspersonal! Wir bekamen doch noch das Doppel mit 2 getrennten Betten! Danke dafür!

Da wir nur 1 Nacht verbracht haben, haben wir keine grossen Erfahrungen machen können. Und die wenigen waren wie schon erwähnt POSITIV! Ein Tipp: super wäre eine kleine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer!!!
