Great location in old town - short walk to station for journeys to other towns. Tourist office were excellent situated in station. Great restaurants in next street down from hotel. Very basic but very clean hotel. Drink machine in reception area which is free of charge but no kettle in bedrooms. Take drinks up to room. Breakfast good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Our room was at back of hotel on 5th floor but was still very noisy due to main road (continuous traffic noise)directly behind hotel. Windows had to be shut therefore hot but fans were provided which did make stay more comfortable.

We really enjoyed the breakfast.

Overall my stay was very good, the staff were really nice and the hotel had everything you needed. Location was great for the train station and everything else to be honest.

It's not a direct criticism but I found the hotel was more akin to a hostel which for £200 a night was a shock. However after saying that the prices in Zurich are insane so maybe it's an unfair criticism

Em nenhum momento nos foi avisado que o acesso ao hotel e ao QUARTO eram exclusivamente pelo celular, ficamos sem bateria e impossibilitados de acesso ao quarto e sem acesso a ligações para ajuda. Tivemos que procurar a pé outro hotel nas proximidades, enviei reclamação para a equipe do hotel, solicitando reembolso uma vez que não utilizamos a estadia, e falaram que não tem o que ser feito.

Boa localização, próximo à estação, transporte e uma grande variedade de restaurantes. Relativamente próximo das atrações, valendo a caminhada pitoresco por Zurique.

Barulho: dois bares bem em frente ao hotel com som alto até 23 horas. Hotel não conta com ar condicionado; Oferecem ventilador.

La localisation (à 10 minutes à pied de la gare)(relativement proche du centre). Nous avons circulé à pied dans la ville, sauf pour aller au musée Lindt et près du lac, où nous avons pris le bus. La chambre est sommaire, mais suffisante. Elle est bien insonorisée bien que surplombant une rue avec circulation. Le personnel est très agréable. A l'accueil, est disponible un tout petit réfrigérateur pour l'ensemble des clients, ainsi qu'un micro-ondes, une fontaine à eau et boissons chaudes gratuitement. Le petit déjeuner est correct et suffisant pour nous. L'endroit est calme.

Peut-être juste un peu de chaleur dans l'aménagement de la chambre (décoration, couleurs)

We love the location. It was right in the center of the city and easy to get to, but it was right off of busy street.

There was no air-conditioning, which I guess I should’ve researched before going. it was in the summer and very hot. The fans they had were small and when we opened up the windows the busy street sounds were hard to sleep through. They’re also wasn’t a TV not a a dealbreaker, but my kids were disappointed.

Location is very convenient. All the staffs are very nice and super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is simple but good.

It’s very noisy. For people like us who are very tolerant to noise it’s OK.

Muy buen desayuno, bastante completo y lugar espacioso. Buena ubicación cercana a estación de tren.

Habitación no cuenta con aire acondicionado, era muy caluroso dormir, incluso con la ventana abierta, fue muy incómodo. El resto buenas instalaciones.

Solo la ubicacion me gusto, esta cerca de la terminal de tren de Zurich hb.

El hotel es muy basico, la habitacion es parecida a la que se ven en las carceles. No tenia aire acondicionado y nos morimos de calor, la pasamos muy mal por las noches, el baño es muy malo, el desayuno era bastante malo.

Very friendly staff, comfortable bed, nice breakfast, clean. Excellent position. Very good value for money. There was no air conditioning but 3 fans in the room made it very comfortable.

No fridge in the room and no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. They did provide this free on the ground floor to use at any time.

O quarto grande com bancada para por as malas, máquinas de café e água na recepção que poderíamos se servir a vontade. Localização excelente.

Não tem suporte para pendurar as toalhas de banho. Poucas tomadas no quarto e no banheiro não tem, não tem ar condicionado, somente ventiladores.

We stayed here for a night with a toddler. The location is excellent and despite having a short trip we were able to cover a lot of Zurich.

Bear bones facility. No A/C. No chair. Basically a dorm room at a college. Small size. No refrigerator. No blanket. 1 pillow.

Loved Hotel Marta with its unique architecture, especially the spiral staircase. There is an elevator but taking the stairs to the 4th floor was perfectly fine as well. The stairs are wide and not steep at all. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with openable windows and 2 fans. There is no A/C however the fans were perfect. We had a room facing the back of the building which was quiet except for traffic sounds in the morning. The self-serve breakfast buffet included in the room rate was lovely. It's provided on the first floor (above the reception area). There are large windows overlooking the street, it's quite enjoyable to sit by the window. There were boiled eggs, different types of cheese, breads, croissants, tomatoes, cucumbers and cereals. The coffee machine has a good selection of options including cappuccinos. Considering how expensive Switzerland is, staying at a hotel that includes a decent breakfast definitely adds value. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We were advised that every guest is entitled to a small ice cream each day. All we had to do was ask for it at reception. Each day we selected from a short list of available flavors and the receptionist brought our choices from a back room freezer. There is also a basic coffee machine (no cappuccinos), tea bags and drinking water available near reception. Guests can help themselves any time of day or night. It's possible to borrow a bottle to take water to guest rooms which we appreciated. The location is fantastic. It's just a short walk across the bridge and slightly uphill from the main train station in a very central vibrant area surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants. The Polybahn (the little red funicular) is a 2 minute walk from Hotel Marta and fun to ride to the Polyterasse that overlooks the city. The ride takes 100 seconds and tickets can be bought through a self-serve kiosk. The old town is within walking distance along the river.

Small rooms that get stuffy, when you don't open the window. Rooms facing the street are very noisy. You really need the earplugs that are provided. Be aware that In the climate change summers ( very hot)there is due to the age of the hotel no air conditioning.

O hotel é muitíssimo bem localizado, bastante próximo da Estação Central, do supermercado COOP, do centro histórico e muitas opções de restaurantes e cafés nas proximidades. Silencioso, limpo, equipe muito simpática e educada(uma pena que não lembro o nome da recepcionista que me atendeu. Apesar de não ter frigobar, ficava à disposição dos hóspedes uma pequena geladeira onde se podia guardar seu alimento, além de ter sempre disponível água, chá e café e salvo engano, também tinha um micro-ondas. Tivemos direito a um Welcome Drink no bar vizinho, chocolatinho no quarto e também podemos pegar um sorvete na recepção. Antes de mais nada, acho que me cabe uma autocrítica. Fechei a reserva de última hora, não atentei a algumas informações e não acho que seja justo avaliar mal o hotel por conta disso. Não há ar condicionado. Esta informação está descrita e eu não vi. Como eu fui no começo de junho, a temperatura de Zurique estava bem agradável e isso não foi um problema, mas acredito que em pleno verão os ventiladores não deem conta. Outra coisa diz respeito ao café, que é bem simples, simples mesmo, mas quando voltei a ler com mais calma, eu percebi que isso faz parte da política do hotel, quanto à sustentabilidade, etc. Enfim, foram 3 diárias e no geral foi tudo ok. Mas, lembrem-se de ler sempre com bastante atenção tudo o que está descrito.

Habitaciones súper calurosas. Imposible estar en ellas. A pesar de tener ventilador, la habitación era un horno. Desayuno totalmente vegano. No tiene ninguna opción de proteínas más haya de queso cottage. Se basa en cereales, yogur, pan, algo d fruta..

Hotel Marta has a fabulous location in the old town.

There was no air conditioning and a MASSIVE road project was happening and the sound of drilling starting at 7 AM every morning was AWFUL. We should have received a serious discount for all the dust and noise we had to endure on top of the heat, necessitating that we keep the windows open.

There is a bar across the street that is quite loud when windows are open (necessary with the heat!). The hotel does provide ear plugs but it’s still quite loud for light sleepers

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is in the city centre, a few minutes from the tourist attractions. The room was quiet, and the reception staff was great. I was on the top floor, so there was no noise from the street.

The breakfast was fine, but it could be better. The biggest problem is that there is no air conditioning. There was a fan in my room, but during the summer, this is far from enough. I was on the top floor, like an attic, and the heat was unbearable. Also, the room is small, but I didn't mind it.

It was very clean, the breakfast was decent, and they have a 1 hour grace period for late checkout.

Love their approach, especially the Slovak lady from the reception was very kind and helpful to us. The hotel values ​​its guests and offers small free bonuses. Room itself was super clean, new, well-equipped and breakfast was varied.
