Igloo Hybrid

Great stay, brilliant comms with reception team, very comfortable and relaxed environment, art-deco and hotel theme highly-creative and pleasurable

Location perfect in Central Location Friendly staff

Facilities quite basic if you're expecting luxury, but its great value for money

Hostel is located centrally with good connections. It was quiet in the hotel which was a pleasant surprise. Room was clean though the decor was a bit tired. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room had an old house smell and bathroom smelled of damp though it was very clean. Towels were provided but they did not smell fresh.

Staff were great. Place was generally very clean. About as clean as you can get for a place of this type. Facilities like the kitchen were stacked with everything you would need to cook, eat, and drink. Staff were also very amazing and very cool people and very helpful

The lounge was quite underwhelming tho as it was nothing more than a few old couches. There was quite a nice outdoor seating area tho

Location was excellent and staff were very nice, felt really safe. Rooms were comfortable

Would be nice to have a kettle in the room

Amazing for money, cosy room thats very clean. Great staff.

Nothing, got all I need

The hostel has a very good location, right in the centre of Nottingham, making it convenient for getting around the city.

However, there was an unpleasant damp and musty smell both in the room and in the corridor. I believe this was mainly due to the carpeted floors, which seemed to retain moisture and the smell. Unfortunately, this made the stay less comfortable.

Great location. Facilities in the hostel were really good and the staff were great.

It's a hostel so it's going to luck of the draw but it felt like there were a couple of people in the dorm that were regulars so it felt like I was staying in their room. Watching videos during the night without headphones etc. Not the hostels fault and I would stay again. Curtains on bunks would help with people switching lights on during the night.

It's a nice place to stop and great for a night out in Nottingham. Beds are very comfy.

No privacy curtains. It's too expensive and is no longer good vfm.

Great decor, fantastic, chatty, friendly really nice reception people. Fantastic location. Comfortable and clean room. The best price for an interesting basic place to stay in a good location.

Very good location, central but not on the most active night life streets. Very friendly staff and very well cleaned! Shared bathrooms on several floors, snd they were always clean and fresh!

Hard pillows.

Friendly staff, quiet spot. Quirky decor. Short walk from train station.

The bedding was clean but after stripping the bed for the laundry bag as requested the mattress protector underneath the sheet looked grubby (hairs etc).

nice atmosphere and friendly staff

Colour and room set up

nothing

good spot, friendly staff and nice atmosphere

Lokalizacja świetna- blisko do wszystkiego. Czysto, wygodnie, cicho

Some guests had personal hygiene challenges that made the stay uncomfortable

I’ve stayed at igloo hybrid twice, both times I’ve had a great stay! The staff are great, so lovely. The beds are so comfortable, I’ve had a great sleep every time. And the place is super clean. It’s a fantastic place to stay and I hope I have a reason to stay again one day.

Honestly nothing, it’s a great hostel.

Friendly staff, central location, relatively quiet, decent sized rolm, good price

Missed having a kettle

IT’s central. Kitchen facilities. There’s reception

Not enough plugs. Tv on wrong wall

Very friendly staff. Nice lounge and kitchen area. Clean room. Good location. Good price. Just overall a very good experience. I'll be back in a few weeks.

clean and convenient

great location and really helpful reception

Simple no thrills accommodation.

I liked the proximity to the train station and local transport links for the airport and to the shops as it was easy to pick up the food I needed. Next to Sainsbury’s local and a M&S food hall so plenty of choice.

I liked that it had a well equipped kitchen area with fridge and microwave and tea and coffees with all utensils that I required. The room was well thought out for the theme and all facilities were brilliant very impressed.

Excellent location and considerate early check in

A great private place for last minute trip on a bit of a budget. Loved the extra touches with tea, coffee making facilities. Comfy lounge Clean bathroom with use of towels. Comfy beds Felt safe Friendly staff. Kept bags safe for us when we arrived in Nottingham.

A kettle in the annex as the flask did not stay hot

Great, central location.

Missing smoke brushes on fire door to ‘room’, WHB that didn’t drain, barely accessible shower room, broken windows and windows that wouldn’t close.

Price. Location. Friendly staff. Cleanliness.

Perfect for a short stay in the city centre

Always feel welcome here

Nothing

lovely hostel/hotel (I stayed in hostel), staff was super friendly and helpful. Nice kitchen and common area plus offered to hold luggage for free. offer wash, dry, and fold of clothes for 8 sterling. nice location, solid Wifi all over, decent, clean bathroom

wish beds had a privacy curtain, bathroom is tiny but functional

Always the best budget place in Nottingham

Friendly, helpful staff- kindly gave us some recommendations on local pubs and bars. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Flexible checking in times and relaxed approach. Brilliant location- but still quiet and secure. Great affordable accommodation choice- already booked to stay again 🙂

Nothing!

Easy to find and nice and clean, we went when it was very hot and a fan was provided in the room. Bedding was clean and felt safe :3 Nice communal kitchen and the staff were so nice and helpful :3

Great location and value for the money. Everything is very close

Smoking area was right under my room window and it was impossible to keep it opened because of people smoking there constantly.

Excellent location as staying there to catch the airport Skylink Express bus early hours of the morning for our early flight in the morning. Facilities excellent - there was a communal fridge, but we went out for a meal in the evening in a nearby pub.

Can't think of anything I didn't like at all. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Vicinity to town

Brilliant staff

Nice hostel in Nottingham city centre. A short walk from the railway station. Staff at reception was nice and welcoming. I stayed in a single room. My room was spacious, clean and tidy. Shared bathrooms were clean. Good value for money.

Nothing.

Staff were super friendly. Free tea in the morning. Great central location and quiet too. Excellent value for a money (double room private bathroom).

Pillows weren't the most comfortable but I had a good night's sleep regardless.

Everything was very good. Staff were awesome, it was a very low effort checkin and stay on my part: really easy to checkin, drop bags, enjoy the city, come back, sleep, leave.

Comfort was fine. Not amazing: the shower could have been a bit better, the bed could have been more comfortable. It definitely felt like a hostel that had a spare room instead of a comfortable hotel bed. But you get what you pay for. :)

Location was perfect. Close to the train station and in the city centre. Staff on the reception was lovely, specially during check in. Facilities were confortable, the common spaces were clean and so the rest of the place.

Location. Price. Friendly staff. Cleanliness.

Friendliness of staff

There was a constant beeping noise outside the window

Really comfy bed, nice spacious room and bathroom! Great location and felt really nice and secure as a solo traveller. Staff were really friendly and helpful

Nothing

Good location

Poor staff attitude, worn out beddings with foul smell.

Very nice and a good atmosphere

Ubicación en pleno centro. Amabilidad del personal. Limpieza. Cocina mediana totalmente equipada.

Good value for basic accommodation right in the centre of town. I liked the fully equipped communal kitchen, a good place for chatting to fellow travellers.

I slept in the annexe and didn't have a key to get into the kitchen area. The staff sometimes took a while to answer the door. Solution: give the annexe guests a key to the front door.

Our room was cheerfully decorated and had almost everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and not busy. The staff were really nice. Overall, terrific value for money.

We had a couple of stays in different rooms and found the double beds in both quite uncomfortable (they sagged in the middle).

Location 👍🏻

The welcoming staff and no services

Perfect localisation, kitchen that you can use.

Definitely need to use high temperature to wash bedding and towels. Unfortunately everything is smelly... I keep coming back there every year and I can see is not that clean as it was before. I like this hostel but definitely not happy with smelly bedding 🙈

Both the room and en-suite toilet were very clean during our stay. Great location as it was at city cnetre which made it easy for us to walk around the city and explore. Staff were very friendly upon check in, and it was nice to be able to have tea and coffee sachets easily accessible near the entrance as well.

Although the room was overall very clean, unfortunately the towels smelt damp as we guessed it was not aired/dried properly. Similarly ther was a slight smell on the decorative cover for the bed.

Hermoso Hostel.

Price. Location.Friendly staff.

Hybrid is simple, great location, clean rooms, hot shower, space to work

More sockets especially USB

Great place to stay and it's in the town centre, rooms are always clean and tidy and staff always there to help.

All good

Clean, quiet and staff are fantastic.

Great place would stay again

Great location. Helpful staff

Nothing

The staff were fabulous. Friendly and knowledgeable about the area

I liked the size of the room, windows that actually open, kitchen facilities and the extraordinarily friendly and helpful staff! 100% recommend this hostel and would always return when in Nottingham :)))

Location is great, friendly staff, comfy beds.

Room was a bit smelly.

Great location helpful friendly staff

No window but did state when booking

I liked how it was unique, it had something about it that was nice, warm, and welcoming.

The amount of trash that was outside of the property, didn’t really give a clean environment.

Staff very friendly Nice and clean

Pretty rooms. Good value for money.

The staff were nice, our room was great, and having the refrigerator in the community kitchen was super convenient. Even though the bathroom was down the hall from our room (Yurt) it wasn’t too far and it was clean!! I would stay in this place again.

The wifi that was theoretically for our area of the hostel didn’t work, it didn’t even show up on the wifi list. The WiFi in the main area connected but didn’t work super well for me, although I saw some other people working so maybe it worked better for them.

Great location. Close to restaurants and grocery stores.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Quiet and safe location. Lovely communal area and peaceful courtyard.

Brilliant location, just right in the city centre very close to shops, pubs, restaurants atc.

Centrally located, 2 mins from city centre tram stop. Room and bathroom were spacious and well equipped. We didn’t use the communal facilities but they looked good

Room was very hot, it was the hottest day of the year but couldn’t really cool it down. There was a fan but it didn’t do a lot.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean spaces, communal areas Affordable and good location

Not necessarily about the property but room was extremely hot and sleep was very difficult. Windows don’t open fully in most places in UK and with heatwave and just a fan, is not enough

Tucked away, so quiet, yet in the centre and very walkable. Sainsbury's opposite was very handy. The Hammock room was looking a bit tired and could do with some TLC on the decor. Very clean and comfortable.

Nothing

Staff were very friendly checking in/out. Great central location close to the stadium and lots of restaurants

Not as clean as hoped, dead spider on the fan and cobwebs/spiders in the bathroom. Bed wasn’t most comfortable but okay for one night

Local to the city and everything we wanted to do. Very clean and bathrooms where great

No kettle in our room

Kitchen and living Communal areas good, nice vibe with murals and helpful friendly staff. Great location

The location was excellent for the event I was going to. The bed was very comfy. Yes location was city centre and heard some noise but was hardly anything considering.

I was in a bunk bed room so the plug socket to charge my phone was quite high and my cable struggled a bit to reach so had to place phone charging on top bunk instead of bed side table so maybe move socket or higher table.

Staff very friendly, room cosy and coffee and tea available if I wanted that not far from tennis to relax overnight and rest.i made an arrangement to leave early and I had a very enjoyable stay

The rooms were nice and clean, the bathrooms too. The staff was great even when I had to leave early due to a family emergency.

The location, the friendliness of the staff and the extremely clean room

Wi-fi not working in the annex building

Great location. Always friendly staff. A very quiet nights sleep. Great stay 😊

The location was great, right in the centre of town. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was basic but pleasant enough and as expected.

We didn’t realise when booking that the kitchen was in a separate building to where we would be. We tried to use the provided hot water for drinks instead but this had often gone cold or empty. We weren’t able to connect to the wifi in our room on the top floor - it seemed like the signal didn’t reach as it worked near reception. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned well and had many pubic hairs on the surfaces.

Staff lovely and freindly location is great

For the price we paid for race weekend think was over priced for the room was very basic and the room was freezing staff memeber did go and turn the heating on but radiater was abit faulty very basic but was ok for our night stay

Location and friendly staff

No air conditioning, the room was very hot at night
