Lovely hotel, nestled in the hills. Very comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Staff are so friendly and welcoming.

Receptionist was super friendly and helpful, room spacious and clean, food was superb. Breakfast was lovely and service exceptional. Will definitely stay again if in area 👍

Just 2 girls serving breakfast to full dining rooms. They could have done with more. Didn't get our toast, husband ordered full English breakfast but didn't get bacon or hash browns. Tried to catch waitress but she was so busy she never heard us.

The property is conveniently located for some of the walks around the Malvern Hills. The food was good and the overall attitude of staff was pleasant. The room was large and on an initial inspection seemed clean.

Unfortunately, on our second day the toilet button broke. We left for the afternoon with the expectation it would be fixed whilst we were away. We returned to our room to find our door propped open, with no one working in the room and our belongings exposed to anyone walking past. We discovered the team were unable to fix the problem in the toilet and with no spare rooms we were offered a bucket to flush water down the loo for the remainder of our stay. We also uncovered half eaten dog biscuits under the bed, although as noted the majority of the room was clean. A big thank you to the lady on reception who arranged for a return of the cost of the second night of our stay. We welcome this gesture, but it still does not excuse our personal belongings being left at risk.

We had the cooked breakfast, it was gorgeous & filling. The service was excellent. Our room & ensuit bathroom were better than we'd thought it would be . We had an excellent night's sleep.

Sadly the weather could've been better, but you can't do much about that.

The restaurant is very expensive for mediocre food, no atmosphere better to eat in the bar. Had to wait 50 minutes for an omelette and beans on toast for breakfast. We didn’t feel very welcome on arrival, more of an inconvenience by a gentleman behind the bar who didn’t crack a smile all weekend. The younger waiting staff were lovely though!

Very comfortable room. Bathroom was superb, particularly the shower which has to be the best I have ever experienced. Good food and friendly helpful staff.

Parking spaces a bit tight, but I appreciate that to expand the parking area would be just about impossible.

Perfectly positioned for our walk and an upgrade to the Junior suite was hugely appreciated. A lovely welcome from the lady at reception.

Breakfast didn’t start until 8 which made it a rush as we has a 9am appointment elsewhere to get to. Room 208 was a lovely family suite with 2 bedrooms and 3 beds. Clearly it had be very recently refurbed from top to bottom to a high standard. However there was a very bad smell in the bathroom that smelled like a sewer! I reported this at checkout.

The bedroom was nicely decorated, very clean, comfortable and spacious. The location was great for walking and driving to visit nearby attractions. The breakfast was great with good choices. Dinner was also good

The hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and provided excellent hospitality throughout our stay. They also took extra care to accommodate our family members with dog allergies and COPD, which we truly appreciated. Their attention to detail and genuine care made our stay comfortable and stress-free. We had a wonderful experience and would happily recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately given a room on the road so keeping us awake when cars drove past and the room was very hot due to the weather and no air conditioning.

The location and the hotel itself was beautiful. We had our sisters wedding in Malvern and we held the pre wedding and guests stay at the hotel. The only negative I would say was our dinner wasn’t the greatest. And the food didn’t reflect the price.

Just the food wasn’t up to scratch

I knew the reviews were good but I was really impressed during my stay. The rooms are super clean, bed is comfortable, big room and bathroom, quiet, the staff were lovely, food was delicious. They are very dog friendly as well, we had ours come with us and we were able to buy her a doggy welcome back with a ball in it and treats which was a nice touch. Everything is done right and there is a lot of attention to details. I will definitely return.

Warm welcome, lovely views, cosy room, exceptionally clean, beautiful bathroom with great bath and power showers, delicious food. All staff were friendly and very efficient. Easy car parking. Bottles of water by our bedside. Full length mirror. Had a great night's sleep. Healthy dog treats for sale at reception.

Glorious location at foot of the Herefordshire Beacon/British Camp, perfect for walking this part of the Malvern Hills. Rooms were lovely and food/service good. Parking great too.

Not enough staff on at breakfast- one poor girl politely having to do everything which meant it was slow and not quite up to scratch given that the hotel was busy. The curtains in our room were really flimsy and the blinds in the adjoining room were not sufficient. I would expect for a quality hotel and for the price, to have decent heavy curtains. Luckily our children aren’t little but it would have been an issue if not.

The outside seating area was a delight on a warm summer’s evening. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.

Breakfast service first morning was extremely slow . Cooked breakfast ( full English) a bit tough - from sitting under heat lamp I think . But there was a convention on and hotel was busy so probably understaffed. Food is expensive , but portions generous. But probably reflects what a hotel needs to charge to stay viable . Would have been nice to have had a lounge with sofas for reading etc .

Geweldig lief personeel. Een van de bedden was niet schoon. Even doorgeven en direct opgelost. Verder was alles schoon, comfortabel en ene prachtige locatie.

Naast ons zaten een stel Indiërs die de muziek zeer hard hadden staan en luidruchtig aan het praten waren. De kamers zijn dus behoorlijk gehorig. Het is dan ook een oud gebouw. Nadat ik even naar deze mensen toe ben gegaan waren ze wel rustiger.

The location at the top of the pass and proximity to the British Camp Hill Fort is very convenient and picturesque. However, the facility was a bit tired in places, the staff were not friendly, and the food was only okay.

The hotel was lovely and comfortable, our room was clearly recently decorated and spotlessly clean. The little touches matter, really nice loo roll (!), a genuine welcome to us and our dog and a menu that offered lots of choice and good value food. We hadn't realised what a wonderful spot for walking the hotel is in, so will definitely return for longer. We needed a comparatively early start on the Sunday so really appreciated the fact that breakfast was served from 8am.

Location is beautiful. The staff are friendly, and helpful during breakfast and dinner. Lots of ales but staff not experts. A good variety of wines compliment the meals available. Breakfast in a pleasant well lit room, great choice of cooked food.

Room 102 is a bit dark, I was not crazy about the decor, no views apart from car park. Bathroom is well appointed a lovely big bath, nice bubble bath, also big walk in shower. Mirror over basin a bit corroded, toilet flush is difficult ( I found continually pressing it eventually got it to go), the design doesn't allow for easy access for maintenance, so I suspect that won't be fixed any time soon.
