The hosts were absolutely superb! A full intro into their accommodation including advice on where to go and how to get around. The room was gorgeous and well maintained. The pool area was an absolute vibe. The breakfast was amazing with local delights. We had lunch around the pool and the food was great. Cant recommend this enough. We will be back!! Thank you for such a magical stay.

Wow is all we can say. The staff (Marios and Christos and the whole team) went above and beyond for our special engagement! The hotel was also so beautiful and luxurious!

A wonderful place, through and through! Everything was excellent, starting with the hospitality of everyone working there. Special thank you to Christos, Margarita, and the young man who was there in the evenings whose name I did not get. The pool is big, especially for Santorini standards, the cocktails and the food top notch, the rooms are well equipped, cleaned everyday without fault. The location is walking distance to Fira center, which also allows for a more spacious property, and no noise. Very nice view of the houses around and of the sea.

Our experience at Callia Retreat Suites was excellent from beginning to end. The property is beautiful, set in a stunning location with breathtaking views that make the stay even more special. The suites are beautifully maintained, tastefully decorated and equipped with every comfort you could need. You can really see the care and attention to detail throughout the property. We would especially like to highlight the staff, who were incredibly attentive, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A very special mention goes to Christos, whose kindness, professionalism and exceptional attention truly stood out. He was always there to make sure everything was perfect and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of high-quality products. It was a real pleasure to start each day with such a wonderful breakfast. We highly recommend Callia Retreat Suites without hesitation. We had a fantastic experience and, if we return to Santorini, we will definitely come back and stay here again. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special!

Bessere Gastgeber hätten wir uns wirklich nicht wünschen können! Unser Aufenthalt in Santorini war von A bis Z einfach perfekt. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und unglaublich wohlgefühlt. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super – zentral und trotzdem angenehm, sodass man schnell in der Stadt ist. Alle waren so herzlich, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Gastfreundschaft wirklich von Herzen kommt. Auch das Frühstück war super und hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Die Zimmer wurden jeden Tag gründlich gereinigt und als besondere Aufmerksamkeit gab es jeden Tag sogar gratis Shots – wirklich ein toller Service und dafür ein ganz großes Respekt! 🥃😄 An der Bar konnte man sich am Nachmittag auch leckere Snacks und verschiedene Kleinigkeiten bestellen. Alles war wirklich köstlich und die Portionen waren großzügig. Ein ganz besonderes Lob geht an Maria, die den besten griechischen Salat gemacht hat! 😍 Und ich muss unbedingt noch erwähnen: Maria macht auch den allerbesten Freddo Cappuccino! ☕️🇬🇷 Den habe ich jeden Tag aufs Neue genossen. Wir haben uns hier so wohlgefühlt und unsere Zeit einfach rundum genossen. Es war eine wunderschöne Erfahrung mit unglaublich lieben Menschen. Ganz, ganz liebe Grüße an das gesamte Team! ❤️ Ihr seid wirklich großartige Menschen und Gastgeber. Wenn ihr in Santorini seid, dann bucht diese Unterkunft! Callia Retreat is an absolutely lovely place. Starting from its good looking and clean area to hospitality of the owner Christos who does everything to make you feel welcome, Very comfortable hotel on the sidelines but yet still very close to the main town, restaurant and shops. We got a room with a hottub which definately met our expeciattions. Pool area very boutique with intimacy atmosphere. Breakfasts were delicious always something to choose to yourself. Also, we had a very late at night flight and Christos held our laggage in the laggage area so taht we could still enjoy the whole day at the pool, town, etc.. This deserves a BIG thank you and I would recommend this place to everyone looking for a peaceful holiday. We put Callica Retreat on our close hotel list to come back :) Had my best birthday ever there! Thank you Christos :)

The location was ideal, not too close to the busy centre but a pleasant short walk away. Rooms and facilities were all as pictured, comfortable and spacious. Margarita, Christos and the team were attentive to all details and requests, and made our stay a lovely experience.

The pool area and pool bar was lovely. The rooms were clean and tidy. The staff were very welcoming and offered up lots of recommendations of things to do.

There was no desk/vanity in the room meaning no where to sit except on the bed

El sitio perfecto para alojarse en Santorini! Un hotel pequeño, con instalaciones de ensueño y habitaciones con encanto. Situado a 5/10 minutos andando del centro de Fira en una zona súper tranquila. Lo mejor: el personal. Christos, Marios (espero haber escrito bien sus nombres) y todo el equipo convierten la estancia en este hotel en una experiencia increíble. Al margen de las muchas recomendaciones de la isla super valiosas, su atención tan agradable, atenta y simpática contribuyó a hacer nuestra estancia en Santorini mucho más especial. Gracias!

There was nothing I didn't like.

All the rooms and facilities were clean. Extra necessities such as irons were provided upon request. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They provided lots of recommendations on places to visit on the island. They were also happy to arrange transport to the airport.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. It was a 10 minute walk from the centre, Fira. The main area is clean and well organised by the staff. Margarita, who works there from breakfast until evening, is a superstar! Marios who works from evening to midnight was exceptional and always smiling. Kristos, we assume is the manager, was extremely helpful regarding information about the island. The breakfast had lots of traditional Greek food to choose from and this varied each day. They also have a small menu for lunch and we ordered multiple times throughout the week. The food was so good and the portions were huge! One meal was enough for two people!

The service was excellent throughout, and the staff were kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. A special thank you to Christos from the Front Office, who took exceptional care of us when we had a late flight. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine attention to our needs made us feel truly welcomed and looked after, even at a late hour. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant and memorable. The photos of the rooms online didn’t match the reality. Our room was tired even though we were told we were upgraded. The breakfast was average.

There was nothing we didn't like.

It was beautiful, we stayed here whilst we were getting married and the staff was super accommodating, even gave us a bottle of bubbles and always going the extra mile. Didn’t realise how much of the sea we could see from our room too!

Nothing the only thing to note is that if you stay in the executive suites like we did we had to go out of the property onto the road to a separate location so heading back to the pool we had to go via the road. We were okay with that though.

What an amazing stay!! A quiet boutique hotel which is a very short (5-10 min walk) from Fira Main Street. Lovely modern clean rooms, luxurious pool area with great views and exceptional staff who literally couldn’t do enough for you, especially Christos and Marios who made my birthday celebrations very special with a bottle of Prosecco and some decorations! Worth booking the transfers offered to/from the airport! Same price as local taxis and way less hassle. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return if holidaying in Santorini again. Thanks again!!

The location was simply perfect, just a few minutes walking distance from the lively centre of Fira. The room was very clean and we even had a terrace to sit outside and overlook the pool area. All the public areas were beautiful and the view from the pool was nothing short of extraordinary, facing the sea. The breakfast was amazing, with new food options on a daily basis.

This place is a little slice of heaven. It is quiet, not overlooked and is peaceful. The staff, especially Christos, were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and Christos did everything to make our stay wonderful. I miss it!

The pool space and semi-private spa were a standout at this hotel. The breakfast had a nice homemade selection that swapped each day. The room was spacious and bed comfortable. Marios from the front desk was exceptionally helpful in providing information about the island and making us feel welcome.

The shower has quite poor water pressure and takes a long time to warm up. We showered with cold water most times which didn’t matter too much in the hot weather.

Tout était parfait ! Nous avons été surclassés et avons adoré notre séjour. Le personnel est agréable, les chambres sont très spacieuses et confortables (tous les équipements sont présents : peignoirs, chaussons, nombreux miroirs, prises etc. qui font la différence). Jacuzzi bien chaud, piscine propre, tout était vraiment nickel 👌

The reception team were amazing. They assisted us both prior to our stay and during our stay in every way possible. Than you so much. The breakfast team were lovely and created a wonderful variety of options to choose from. We both loved the option of having a drink in-house and they made a awesome strawberry margarita & negroni. The chair and table on the little patio were used & a nice touch. The location allowed for peace and also close enough to walk to everything we wanted in Fira. Thank you for a wonderful stay ❣️

Christos went above and beyond to make this a wonderful trip. He assisted with recommendations, booking a car and made our stay a fantastic time. We spent 3 nights at Callia Retreat and it was genuinely one of the highlights of our Santorini trip. The location is ideal — quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk from Fira. The suite was beautiful, clean and very well decorated in that classic Cycladic style. Christos was exceptional — warm, attentive and always ready to help with anything. The kind of host that makes you feel truly welcome from the moment you arrive. Perfect place for a couple looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway. We will definitely be back!

Our first room was very small but they changed our room the next day as they acknowledged we needed more space.

Breakfast was great and the en suite hot tub was very nice. The reception was extremely helpful in getting us a rental ATV/Buggy which was much appreciated.

Beautiful tranquil property located within a few minutes walk of shopping, restaurants, etc. The front desk staff were AMAZING. From my arrival to checking out, they provided exceptional customer service. The breakfast was delicious. Great variety of hot and cold healthy foods which can be eaten inside or on your own patio/balcony. Great property for relaxing retreat.
