インド全般だけど乾燥がひどいので龍角散やのどぬーるをもってくると良いと思う。買えるなら現地ののど飴kofletがおすすめ。

Il posto è speciale, curatissimo nei dettagli, letti comodi e balconcini privati per ogni stanza. Bahnu gentilissimo mi ha cambiato stanza per una superiore senza chiedere nulla in più.

Unieke locatie in het fort met uitzicht over de stad. Kleinschalig. Sfeervol, Goed bed. Heerlijk ontbijt. Super vriendelijk personeel die je met alles willen helpen. Wij verbleven hier maar helaas maar 1 nacht maar konden onze bagage achterlaten toen we naar de woestijn gingen. De volgende dag was er een ruimte waar we ons nog konden opfrissen.

The terrace with the view of the fort was fabulous!., Breakfast was excellent👍👍 The manager was fun to talk to .. telling stories of life .. it’s like a private home. Only 7 rooms All the staff were super friendly and accommodating with any request! Tea was free and cookies 🍪 A good place to stay with a difference!!

Everything about Killa Bhawan was wonderful! We were lucky enough to stay in their deluxe room with a balcony. Definitely stay in this room if you have the opportunity. Very comfortable and spacious and so nice to relax out on the balcony watching the constant activity outside the fort! This was our favorite stay of our almost 3 weeks in India. The setting and facilities are wonderful. The staff are incredibly warm and helpful. Highly recommend!!

The room size was a little small than expected but it was very Cosy.

The owner and the hotel staff are all locals. They'll be able to help you and explain lots of things. They give excellent advice and are very friendly and welcoming. After 15 minutes you'll feel right at home.

In winter the nights are cold. The rooms are heated, but it is preferable to bring warm nightclothes.

What an amazing location! Jaisalmer and Killa Bhawan are both very special places. The room was lovely and clean. The outside areas were very clean. All the staff were amazing and so helpful. Bhanu, the manager is super helpful and very responsive to any requests and his concierge skills are second to none! Highly recommended.

Beautiful heritage hotel inside the fort. Staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful offering suggestions of where to eat and arranging guide. Also booked train tickets for us for future journeys. The rooftop terrace is the perfect spot to sit and watch life going on below in the fort and town.

De locatie is prachtig. Je logeert in het fort. Personeel is vriendelijk en helpt waar ze kan. Ontbijt is heerlijk gevarieerd. En het uitzicht formidabel. Omdat je in het fort logeert kun je niet afgezet worden bij de deur. Bij aankomst wordt je bagage opgehaald en zelf loop je omhoog. Ongeveer 400 meter en best wat steiler zo nu en dan. Mensen die echt slecht ter been zijn, moeten overwegen of ze dit aan kunnen.

Unique stay in a heritage deluxe ("heritage suite " on booking.com). Beautifully decorated room and fabulous view, with balcony. Comfortable bed and very hospitable staff. The location is perfect.

Probably one of the most unique location one can stay at in a hotel. An amazing opportunity to spend a few nights in one of the last living forts in the world. The staff were some of the most nice and helpful we had on our entire India trip. The breakfast was delicious especially enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the fort.

Many times there would be no hot water available when showering.

The property has easy access , very clean and beautifully decorated with great views and seatings on the top floor. Staff is welcoming and extremely helpful .

I felt the space was quite limited as the toilets .the breakfast options were quite limited ,they buy it from outside .loved the masala tea supply which was amazing .

Its tucked deep in the fort so if you have to get anywhere outside, its a long trek to your vehicle by foot, many times amid jostling crowds The breakfast is modest, procured from eateries around… the property itself just has a pantry Our biggest problem was water pressure in the shower… was just a trickle… so showering was a task every day Difficult for folks who cant climb up stairs

L’ endroit et la vue imprenable sont tous les deux magnifiques, une décoration très soignée. La gentillesse du personnel qui vient chercher vos bagages en bas du fort. Un manager aux petits soins qui vous conseille parfaitement. Un tout petit bémol, la douche ne fonctionne pas très très bien mais comme le reste est formidable, on oublie très vite ce petit détail.

Just an amazing location. It’s such a special experience to stay in the court and sit on a lovely quiet terrace above all the chaos.

Perfectly located in the old fort in a secluded corner of the old city. Lovely rooms with local art work and decoration. Great balconies and terraces with views of the palace and fort - perfect for breakfast or evening relaxing.

Bien placé dans le cœur historique de la forteresse, nous sommes logés à l'intérieur même des remparts. Très bon accueil de la part des hôteliers qui nous ont conseillé les visites dans la ville Jolie chambre bien décorée dans le style du désert, la vue depuis la fenêtre est magnifique. La literie assez confortable, salle de bain assez petite, mais la terrasse qui nous accueille est superbe pour un excellent petit déjeuner.

Amazing hotel in the fort with stunning views across the city. Staff were exceptional and best breakfast we've had so far.

J’ai eu la chance de séjourner en solo à Killa Bhawan, niché au cœur du fort de Jaisalmer, et ce fut une expérience inoubliable. Dès mon arrivée, j’ai ressenti quelque chose de spécial : être à l’intérieur même du fort donne l’impression de voyager dans le temps. Ma chambre était immense, très propre, et d’un confort absolu, avec un lit où j’ai dormi à merveille. Mais ce qui restera gravé dans ma mémoire, ce sont les vues incroyables depuis ma fenêtre sur l’entrée du fort – à couper le souffle. L’accueil a été exemplaire du début à la fin. Ils m’ont offert un transfert gratuit depuis la gare, un geste rare et tellement pratique après un long voyage. À chaque étape, l’équipe s’est montrée attentive, disponible et chaleureuse. On m’a remis une carte de la ville en prenant le temps de m’expliquer les principaux sites à visiter, ce qui m’a permis de profiter pleinement de mon court séjour sans perdre de temps. Le matin, le petit-déjeuner généreux m’a agréablement surpris, avec du thé servi à volonté et une atmosphère conviviale. Ces petites attentions font toute la différence et montrent qu’ici, on sait réellement prendre soin des voyageurs. Au final, le rapport qualité-prix est excellent : pour ce que l’on paie, on reçoit bien plus qu’un simple hébergement. On repart avec une véritable expérience, une immersion dans l’histoire et l’hospitalité du Rajasthan. Je recommande vivement Killa Bhawan, aussi bien pour les voyageurs en solo comme moi que pour les couples en quête de romantisme et d’authenticité.

Från det ögonblick vi anlände till Killa Bhawan kände vi att detta var något alldeles speciellt. Atmosfären är varm, genuin och välkomnande på ett sätt som man sällan upplever, och det märks tydligt att personalen brinner för att ta hand om sina gäster. Alla vi mötte var otroligt vänliga och gjorde sitt yttersta för att vi skulle känna oss som hemma – och det lyckades de verkligen med. Rummen och interiören är smakfullt och unikt designade, med en känsla för detaljer som gör vistelsen både bekväm och minnesvärd. Allt var mycket rent och välskött, och från vårt rum hade vi en helt fantastisk utsikt som vi aldrig kommer att glömma. Även terrassen bjöd på vyer som gör att man bara vill stanna kvar lite längre. Killa Bhawan är inte bara ett hotell – det är en upplevelse. Av alla de hotell jag har bott på genom åren är detta ett av de mest minnesvärda. Jag kan varmt rekommendera det till alla som vill uppleva gästfrihet på högsta nivå, i en miljö som kombinerar skönhet, komfort och genuin omtanke. Ett hotell som man bär med sig långt efter hemresan.

¡Qué maravilla! Bhuna nos ayudó en todo. Desde nuestra llegada a las 5 de la madrugada a la estación hasta que nos fuimos el día siguiente. Nada era demasiado para él y su estupendo equipo. La habitación "Heritage" que tuvimos era increíble con paredes originales de la fortaleza antigua y antigüedades preciosas por todos lados. La vista hacia las murallas cercanas y al pueblo más abajo era fascinante. Esto, sin duda, es el lugar donde quedarse en Jaisalmer.

Great spot, great personnel. And they organized my trip to the desert with mastery. The stay in the desert was amazing, really simple, not the luxurious thing, but rather an authentic experience, under the stars and close to the nature. They helped with everything I needed so that I couldn’t feel lost in Jaisalmer.

Can’t rave enough about our stay. We felt like royalty in a palace. Great value for money. Lovely, helpful staff. Beautiful views. Amazing vibe and location. All-you-can-drink chilled bottle water. Brilliant breakfasts - definitely try the local dishes.

This was my favorite accomodation of my trip through Rajasthan. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and beautifully located. Having breakfast and doing yoga at the terrace with a view on the fortress was magical. The owners of the hotel are super kind and welcoming. I truly felt at home and would highly recommend anyone visiting Jaisalmer to stay at Killa Bhawan

We are return visitors to Killa Bhawan. Beautifully situated inside the fort, it's a really special heritage hotel. Nothing is too much for the staff. Highly recommended for a visit to the fairytale yellow sandstone fort that is Jaisalmer. The Jain Temple complex is one of the three most highly regarded Jain sites in India, along with Mt Abu and Ranakpur.

It's a once in a lifetime experience to stay in a big working fort and the hotel is in a prime location to see everything, including the beautiful city. The hotel manager made great recommendations on everything from sunset cocktail, to restaurants, to shops. They make you feel right at home.

They will help you get your luggage to and from the hotel, just know you aren't being dropped off at the front door (they can't because of rules of the fort). We didn't mind and had a great time, they will help you, just know.

900 year old house with modern comfort, located in the beautiful fort. Professional service, warm hospitality, and exceptional staff

The staff - helpful and friendly. Made us feel very welcome and happy to help with requests, such as keep our luggage while on camel safari. The breakfast - fairly simple but fresh. Fruit, cooked eggs, toast and jam. Tea or coffee. Served on the veranda with a beautiful view. And served at what ever time suited (so for us after viewing the palace and 2 temples in the morning while quiet) The location - set up high within the fort. We could see all the goings on below but in a calm environment.

Our only slight comment was the room, we had no 7, was on the small side and the bathroom was very small. But if this is the only room available I wouldn’t let it put you off staying.

The whole place is gorgeous, with stunning views from the balconies and rooftop seating areas. We were served generous and delicious breakfasts while while looking out over the fort. The owner and staff are very attentive and eager to help us.

Absolutely fantastic place in which you live in the history of the amazing Jaisalmer. The hotel comprises 3 of the 99 towers in the fort wall, overlooking the palace and the entrance gate. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They made the hotel feel like a family home. The roof terraces on top of the towers are wonderful sun spots for relaxing, breakfast and site seeing. The cosy courtyard and lounges provide retreats for when it is a bit chilly or way to hot.

The location is extraordinary. Staying inside the fort in a beautiful heritage room overlooking the crowds was very special. The breakfast was delicious , the staff are delightful and it was the perfect place to stay in Jaisalmer. Bhanu is the perfect host and he was incredibly helpful organizing the desert safari - which is a must - and for generally just being so friendly. It felt like staying with family.

This was the last stop on our trip and this is the best hotel I ever stayed. I couldn’t be more impressed with this hotel. The entire place was spotlessly clean. The staff were incredibly hospitable, always going out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants—making it convenient and enjoyable. And the service was outstanding! Every interaction, from check-in to check-out, was smooth, friendly, and professional. This hotel truly sets a high standard. I can’t recommend it enough and would definitely return!

Spectacular views of the fort and surrounding areas, so many little seating areas in both the rooftop and hidden away to enjoy quiet drinks, reading or a nap! Service was stellar and very attentive - the owner arranged for a guide through the fort and village, he was one of the highlights of our trip to Jaisalmer.

Location!Location! Location! I could see the fort from my window and it was beautiful. It was right next to the main square and so it was easily accessible.

The bathroom was small and the water pressure was low and pressure was not sufficient for hand shower. Other than this minor inconvenience everything else was great. Much Older people may have trouble stepping in to the shower over a step

Our stay at Killa Bhawan was fantastic. Such a great and unique experience to stay in this old house in the fort. The view are really amazing, and the rooms were lovely; our kids loved it! Bhanu and the rest of the staff were super helpful and gracious. Bhanu set us up with a fort tour and desert safari, and also provided airport pickup and dropoff (additional charges applied). We had breakfast at Killa Bhawan; the food was quite good, made to order (eggs/omlettes, fruit, toast, tea, etc.). They also provide safe drinking water. All and in all a wonderful experience. We were there in December, and it does get a bit chilly. The rooms are equipped with space heaters, and they provide ample blankets. The rooms stayed reasonably warm, but some may feel a bit chilly.

We highly recommend this hotel. The staff was outstanding, and very eager to be sure that we were happy with every aspect of our stay. We booked a dinner at the hotel and were very pleased with the quality of the meal, much of which was sourced from the hotel keeper's own garden. The food service is strictly vegetarian and no alcohol is served, which suited us very well. The room was lovely, updated to modern standards, and perfectly clean. There was a small shop in the lobby where you could purchase textiles without the pressure of the street vendors. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Location was fantastic, situated within the fort. It was very special. Inside the hotel felt like an oasis away from the activity within the fort.

Very unique place, absolutely stunning. Staying inside the fort is very special, like taking part in a movie. You are above the town, out of the hassle but able to see it. Hotel is decorated beautifully, very clean and service is so friendly. Rooftop is the best in India I dare say. We stayed four nights and we would have loved to stay longer. Vanu-ji (I hope I got it right) was very helpful as were everyone else. We took half day (afternoon to late evening) tour to the desert and enjoyed it very much. Breakfast was very good. The view is amazing, it's inside Jaisalmer fort so you can watch the entire city from the terrace. The rooms give heritage experience however the best part is the hospitality from the host Bhanu ji.

The view of the city and fort from our terrace was exceptional. The managers were super knowledgeable and shared the history of the property which we found fascinating.

Our stay was magical. Beautiful comfortable room The staff was so friendly and would do anything to help you. They supplied us with a wonderful guide and arranged transportation from Jodphur and transportation to the Jaisalmar airport. Anything you wanted you could ask for and they would make it happen I would never want to stay anywhere else. Definitely stay here for a unique experience

A gem of a hotel set in the walls of Jaisalmer Fort. The rooms are charming and furnished in a beautiful way. The staff are very attentive and cannot do enough for you in terms of addressing any needs. They pick you up from the taxi drop off and take you to the hotel. The breakfast is very good and there are plenty of good restaurants to eat supper at nearby. Bhanu and his staff are doing an excellent job.

The hotel is beautiful with style and comfort I slept very well in a very comfortable bed. The staff are discreet but always available. The breakfast on the roof terrace was superb with a good choice I felt very safe as a single woman. The brothers who manage the hotel are very helpful with suggestions I will return and will recommend to my friends. It was a wonderful experience

This was a beautiful heritage hotel set high up in the fort walls, a magical location with spectacular views across the fort. It was full of character - full of niches and cushioned areas to sit and take in the view, with antique artefacts from the local area in every nook. The place was very clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom was well stocked with toiletries. The staff could not do enough for us- asking if we needed drinks or refreshments as we came back in from our wandering. There is no restaurant here but the staff will bring in any requested food and also recommend good places to eat. Bhanu was so generous with his time and gave us the lowdown on how to make the best of our time in Jaisalmer. He even recommended a hotel to visit with great massages where you can use the pool. All in all this was our favourite hotel in Rajasthan.

There are some high steps in this property which could be challenging for people with mobility issues.

We were welcomed wholeheartedly by the owners.The entire stay was extremely pleasant and comfortable, and everyone made sure that we had everything we needed. The highlights of this hotels are its unique location in the fort walls and the mesmerising views of the fort and the town around. It's truly an unforgettable experience.
