Was a lovely location onmy bad thing was working
Good location in Ayr between the beach and the High Street. On street parking bays. Very clean and spacious twin bedroom. Large fluffy white bath sheets (huge) Big lounge area with several sofas and two dining tables. Breakfast area looked well equipped - we were room only not B&B. Lovely owner who was very helpful and chatty.
Nothing
Enjoyable stay and would definitely return
It was a lovely hotel very welcoming from the moment we walked through the door we knew it was going to be great
Absolutely nothing it was beyond perfect for us
Beautiful building, great location and very warm welcoming staff
We have stayed in this hotel many times and would not consider anywhere else in Ayr
Nothing at all
Breakfast was great . Linda owner made me lovely porridge.
The building and location is beautiful. Linda is an amazing person, so friendly and welcoming
Nothing
It was very comfortable and the lady was very nice thanks
Charm and hospitality and location
Well looked after
Nothing property was lovely
After the initial shock that I’d booked to stay, no confirmation received from Booking.com (or monies), the owner went out of their way to get me a room with improved facilities.
That Booking.com had not been in touch with the Hotel to advise them that they had a reservation coming.
Owner is nice and friendly, located in the old part of Ayr with ample parking. Near the beach. Room was pretty and spotless. Stayed the night to meet with family. We would definitely book again.
In Ayr for STREETrave at the Piv and this was the perfect location, just a 2min walk & no taxi hassle!
Water not hot and knees banging off the wall when sitting on the toilet.
Nothing they are horrible
I don’t recommend anyone to go to this hotel go at your own risk they are thieves
linda is host is so friendly, her hotel is spotless, the bed was so comfortable,in fact its been the best i have ever slept in
Location
Lack of engagement
The landlady is a lovely person always welcoming and friendy. We love staying there it's also near the shops thank you😀
Nothing.
Outside
No heating people talking on landing
Convenient local small city hotel with all comfort creatures. Happy stopover for one night.convenient
breakfast was excellent location was great will go back again the owner was pleasant and friendly
Quiet clean and comfortable. Lovely sitting room.
Would probably have liked a more powerful shower and a soft close toilet seat but that's being really picky.
Host was so friendly and chatty, made us feel very welcome.perfect location.
The room was absolutely freezing and a bit dated
Bon endroit.
Live this hotel . Owner is a lovely lady . Always try stay here when visiting
We stayed overnight at the Arrandale Hotel, which had some old-fashioned charm. While the room was clean, the bathroom was in need of renovation! The sink didn't drain properly, and there was a lingering odor in the bathroom. Additionally, the Wi-Fi didn't work during our stay. Overall, it was a bit of a mixed bag.
The bathroom was in need of renovation!
Good location near the centre. Easy street parking. Very helpful welcoming host. Good WiFi.
Could do with a fettle. Bathroom window needed a fix. Hot water took ages.
The location is excellent - short walk to the beach and town centre. However, the staff were unbelievably kind - I spent the week with my father who was in end of life care at the hospital and I needed a place to have a hot shower and rest before returning - they couldn’t have been nicer and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, had everything I needed, and were so understanding when I confused the check out time. Thank you so much 🙏
Very accommodating to suit our stay. Much appreciated thank you 😊
Nice large bathroom.
Couldn't gethot water in the shower.
Lovely period property loved ourbstay
Good location, very keenly priced.
Earlier checkout at 10am, no en-suite, quite basic.
Close to everything, staff helpful giving directions to places and car park right across from hotel so couldn’t ask for much more in terms of convenience
The hotel was quite close to the beach and town centre, so was ideal! Well worth the amount that I paid. Bed was comfy, so had a great night's sleep. I also got into my room before the allocated time, which was great as I just dropped my bags off and went to the beach.
Location and friendly. Great communication.
Mattress needs replacing.
Free parking at the door
Could have explained breakfast options
The building and interior have personality. I really enjoyed chatting with Linda.
The bed was 'swallow you up' soft.
Linda was a fantastic host , totally went out her way to help
Lovely hostess
The location is great close to shops and close to the beach lovely calm hotel
Didn't have any complaints at all was a good value night away
Good location near city center and beach. Pretty rooms, comfortable beds. Nice big living room downstairs.
A bit dirty floors, but cleaned when mentioned.
Quiet location yet close to town. Very comfortable room and very clean. Pleasant furnishings and if good quality.

Lovely welcome on arrival and quickly checked in Really comfortable, very clean, loving bedding, super comfy bed, quiet location
Nothing
Comfortable and friendly. Situation great. Walking distance from pubs and restaurants.
No breakfast. Great central location
Open plan living room. A separate door to the bedroom would have been better
I love Linda, so a cracking host, we will always be back ❤️ in Ayr xxxx
Every thing was perfect 👌
Great ammenties central location just we needed for a relaxing weekend. Linda who owns it lovely lady run off her feet but nothing to much trouble for her great hosts hope to see her again in the not to long future thanks again 😊 x

The location was walking distance from the station. Our hostess, Linda, was kind although she would have preferred we let her know that we would drop our bags off early. Room was clean.
The property is definitely older and in need of an update. We could clearly hear conversations elsewhere in the hotel but fortunately everyone went to bed early and it wasn’t a problem.
Wonderful old building, great location, friendly staff. Near many restaurants and pubs, a few blocks from ocean.
The location was great. The host, Linda, was amazing, very nice, and helpful. The room was lovely and comfortable. Car parking, right next to property that was only £3 for 24 hours.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like.
Room was nice. Stayed two nights but the bedroom wasn’t serviced or towels changed.
Location was good
Bed to low and noisy Bathroom light didn't work was working to start with
The property was close to amenities and while mostly payable there was parking. Took a while to get a space that didn't require payment but that was my choice. Easy to find and the host was very friendly, room was well appointed and comfortable.
Very fresh
Easy distance to sea and town centre
The location, just 1 minute walk to the beach which you can take a long walk on, easy car park outside the hotel on the street where space was always available (despite that people wrote different stuff about the car park), and a nice host the hotel owner.
There was no breakfast available while I was there- The size of the room, Twin room, which I had booked and should be 26m2, was not more than 16m2. Good to stay for a couple of nights, but not for me who stayed for 6 nights and needed to stay for one more week. Old building which of course looks nice, but can smell a little bit of damp which I am not used to.
location is very good for shops ,bars etc, and close to beach
hotel bar didnt open , which wasnt good
Location good. Staff very nice. Large room
Pull cord in bathroom very dirty. The twin beds were like childrens' beds....low, very poor mattresses, which must be years old.
Owner was lovely and helpful
