The view is fantastic. Have not had such a good sleep for weeks. The soothing sound of the waterfall puts you to sleep immediately. The breakfast was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff!

Renovation noise after breakfast, however if you check- out or go on a hike it should not bother you.

10/10 everything. Best view in Ella, exceptional service from the guys who make you feel at home from minute 1. Great start point for the Ella Rock hike and amazing views around the mountains and town. LKr600 tuk tuk to town or you can walk down the train tracks. They are also in the process of adding new and improved rooms and restaurant to the hotel which will make it even better. They also upgraded us to a new room as it was low season. Would recommend to couples or people looking for a relaxed time away from the busy town

The property was located slightly out of the town but was easily accessed on a tuk tuk. We asked to upgrade to one of their new rooms and there were beautiful, and well worth the extra money. We were warmly welcomed and given a very nice welcome drink. Breakfast was also very nice.

היו הרבה שממיות- לאטות קטנות, לא מזיקות אבל נמצאות בכל מקום גם בחדר, ילדים פחדו. זרם במקלחת ממש חלש, ברמה שלא יכלתי לחפוף את השיער, חדר מאד בסיסי- הייתי מדרגת את המקום בתור הוסטל ולא מלון

I like its cleanliness , and view was perfect and best thing is thier staff was very cooperative and BreakFast was superb.. i will 100 marka to breakfast specially Coconut rooti with Daal and fresh juices

Hotel hard to find and many steps down to the entrance. Room full of insects, even inside the mosquito net. The room was not like the photos.

The views are breathtaking, so stunning. Staff were so lovely and hospitable. The train ride to Ella was incredible and we absolutely loved it.

Unfortunately when we went they were doing a lot of building works which I think will be wonderful when completed but I don’t think we got to experience the full beauty of the location and the hotel as a lot of it was in construction. We only stayed for one night but the room was huge and view stunning. Ella itself is ok but I wouldn’t rush back there. It’s very very touristy and feels very much like a back packers location and doesn’t have the authentic Sri Lankan charm like the other places we have visited during our stay. This is nothing to do with the hotel though that’s just our observation on Ella itself but the train ride is totally worth it but I think that and 1 night is plenty if you’re wanting more Sri Lankan vibes.

While set a little out of the centre of Ella. The view from our balcony was second to none. The room was well sized and clean with an excellent shower. We had read about the huge breakfast before we arrived and were not disappointed with what we had. A huge plate of fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, choice of eggs along with a number of local Sri Lankan delicacies. The staff could not have been more welcoming or helpful throughout our stay . Providing information around the local area and offering to arrange Tuk Tuk (at a reasonable price) to a variety of attractions . They also provided a very helpful short cut down into Ella which greatly reduced the distance and walk time. Although the hotel is expanding its rooms and building work is currently happening. This in no way impacted on a a very relaxing stay. The new rooms that are being built and will be available in a few weeks looked amazing with even better views of the Ella valley than ours

The staff were phenomenal, highlighting Priyantha who showed so much care for us. He and the rest of the staff were a highlight of Ella

The only thing people should consider is accessibility. There are a steep-ish set of stairs to get to the front n then to most rooms

There’s a great view from the dining area. My room was very clean and well maintained.

I paid for a room with a view. More than half the view is now concealed by construction on the adjacent property and no explanation or compensation was provided for this. The fridge on the deck doesn’t work despite being provided with complimentary drinks. I was asked if I wanted to upgrade to better room upon arrival for a small price, after I declined they were going to offer it to me anyway provided I cancel my booking on booking.com and re-book directly with the hotel. The location is also frustrating if you plan to walk from the main shops in Ella as you have to go past the towns rubbish tip which is horrid. The wifi was pretty weak too.

This is not yet a 3 star hotel as noted in booking, but it is still under construction and will probably be a really great place to stay in a few weeks. We stayed in new and fully equipped rooms with breathtaking views of the valley. The manager is really nice, but things were not working properly yet.

The new rooms were built above an existing old guest house. There were still many issues with construction noise, frequent electricity shut downs and WiFi problems, sometimes even water pressure issues. This is not what we expected from a 3 star hotel with this price…

AND THE BEST ROOM VIEEEWWWWSSSSS ever …… and the hotel exactly beside it has pool you can pay pass day and use the pool … but hide view more clean than that hotel with the pool ……. Our stay at this hotel in Ella was quite disappointing. From the moment we arrived on Sunday, we were informed that neither lunch nor dinner was available because there were no staff to prepare the meals. This was very inconvenient, especially after a long journey. The breakfast was also below expectations, with limited options and poor quality. Throughout our stay, it felt like there was no one available to address our concerns or assist us when we needed help. The lack of attentive staff and poor service significantly affected our overall experience. Unfortunately, this was not the level of hospitality we expected, and we would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

Everything was good., however the view is the best especially from the last floor.

It is not safe to open the window as you are on the monkeys' spot.

Je suis très déçue par mon séjour dans cet établissement. L'accès à l'hôtel est difficile. La vue depuis la chambre, qui semblait être un des points forts, était complètement gâchée par des travaux en cours, sans que cela ne soit précisé lors de la réservation. La chambre ne disposait pas de climatisation, uniquement d'un ventilateur extrêmement bruyant. Une invasion de fourmis dans la salle de bain chaque nuit. Enfin, même si aucun problème d'humidité n'était visible dans la chambre, mes vêtements ont imprégné une forte odeur d'humidité que je sens encore après mon départ.

Das Zimmer sah so aus wie auf den Bildern. Jedoch fanden wir es relativ eng und es war sehr ringhörig. Jedoch nur ein kleiner Punkt, der von den vielen positiven überwogen wurde.

Fantastisk og uslåelig utsikt. Superior rom er svært fine. Hyggelige og ivaretakende ansatte.

Rommene er i en byggeplass, burde vært informert om. Støy og maling. Hele stedet er under oppbygging.

I had the -1 room and like previous reviews even from a year a go, the room had a terrible smell, shower and shower head covered in mould. The sink was broken when I arrived and had to be fixed. The sheets weren't clean. Honestly, the hotel would do well to finally listen to reviews and sort out this problem. The photos they use for advertising are of different and much better rooms.

- Hotel was in elevation from downtown, and was impossible to get taxis from uber or pickme app. So hotel provides taxi service, but since its difficult to get to hotel, taxis were found expensive. - A construction site was active adjacent to the hotel, and the loud noices were very unpleasant and annoying. - Amex not accepted for payment, and 3% charge was charged for card payments.

This property gives a scenic view overlooking the waterfall and the mountains. Very friendly staff and helpful. The room is clean and well maintained.

Water pressure is low and my room didn’t connect to WiFi on the balcony.

The most beautiful view, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast, and incredibly warm hosts. I hope I will be back.

The view was breathtaking. Room was very cosy and clean. Food was very tasty. But all of this is nothing in comparison to the friendly and thoughtful staff. They were happy to help us with everything and answer all our requests with smile. We truly felt welcomed and well taken care of. Thank you for everything

The view was spectacular from our room and the dinning area, there is some renovations going on but it did not detract from the overall experience. Staff were very friendly and accommodating for any requests we had, would definitely come back again. The room was a family room with 2 double beds. We left the curtains open at night so we could wake to the floor to ceiling view. Breakfast was delicious.

The view from the room was absolutely stunning and visually captivating. You could easily spend hours just admiring the mountains, watching the clouds drift by. There was also a small fountain, and the soothing sound of flowing water added to the peaceful atmosphere. In terms of location, the hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the city center. If needed, Channa can arrange a tuk-tuk for around 500 LKR. Breakfast offered a nice combination of Sri Lankan and English options, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, it was one of the best value-for-money stays we experienced during our trip to Sri Lanka. The staff were very friendly, especially Channa, who was always eager to help.

The view is absolutely spectacular from the rooms! So much that I refused to leave my room in the first half of the day for most of my stay. Stunning !!

The view is stunning however we were in the budget rooms located under the kitchen in which the view is obstructed by construction. Our room also had no air-conditioning which was quite hot, but again I believe this to only be true for the budget rooms. The property location is quite high up on the hill which is difficult if you don’t have consistent transport.

The view from the room was the best I had . Sun Rise 🌞 scenery is marvelous. Every things are perfect, caretaker is very friendly and quick responding. One of my best experiences.

The price point is on the higher end, and given it’s not in the city- you also spend extra on commute. I wanted some place quiet with views so it was worth it to me.
