The property is situated very close to the train station right in town and supports a beautiful view of the valley. Staff are extremely sweet and kind. I highly recommend staying here.

Prima hotel op een heel centrale locatie, vlak bij het station en daardoor ideaal gelegen in Wengen. Het hotel is hier en daar wat gedateerd, maar de kamers waren comfortabel en het ontbijt was goed verzorgd. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Voor een paar nachten een fijne en praktische uitvalsbasis.

Enig nadeel is dat er maar één lift is. Als je op een hogere verdieping zit, kan het daardoor soms wat langer duren.

Absolutely amazing stay! We loved everything about this hotel. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the train station, yet surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Swiss Alps. The views from our room were absolutely spectacular – waking up to the mountains every morning felt like a dream. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of fresh and delicious food. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Everything was well organized, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and relaxing. Everything exceeded our expectations. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wengen!

It is a minute away from the Wengen train station making it very practical to commute around.

For the price I paid (over EUR 1K per night) I would have expected more modern rooms, more in room facilities etc. Everything including the TV was old. They also asked you to pay for using the capsule coffee machine in the room. Very strange. Rooms were clean but sparsely furnished and old fashioned. I travel extensively and I felt like this was not a value for money hotel.

We stayed in July and hot season, hotel does not have air conditioning, so you have to sleep with windows open. But, Every night people outside would drink, party and make loud noises, sometimes until 3 am.

The hotel made a great impression - we received mimosas from a really kind and funny lady at the front desk when we checked in. Our room had the most stunning view of the mountains - it felt unreal, and all of a sudden the pricepoint didn't hurt as bad :) The room itself was a little outdated, but it was a bit charming in a 1970's wooden cabin vibe. The breakfast was really good with a lot of variety - even smoked salmon, champagne, and a lot of great cheeses. It all felt quite luxurious.

The spa was really nice, but it would be nice if it closed a littel later. Also, a male staff member walked in on me nude in the sauna when they were closing which was kind of awkward. I'd expect a hotel of this caliber to have toiletries like hair conditioner for guests. Rooms could use a little updating at some point.

Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is ideal. Facilities are clean, comfortable, and serviceable. Views are AMAZING.

"Nickel-and-dime" pricing for in-room amenities is somewhat annoying: CHF 1 for instant coffee, 0.50 for tea, etc. At the Silberhorn's price point, these tiny charges can't possibly make a difference in revenue, they're just annoying. Make it free or don't put it in the room.

Hotel viejo pero habitaciones bien adaptadas al confort, muy limpio, situación perfecta. Personal muy amable y siempre atentos a nuestras necesidades. Spa con lo justo para relajarte (incluido en el precio). Buffet completo y rico. Superó nuestras expectativas

No air conditioning in the breakfast/dining area (we were there during the heat wave though). The gym was not pleasant to use; very small space with no windows and was very hot inside.

-les employés de la réception qui ne parlent qu'anglais . C'est de plus en plus fréquent qu'en Suisse alémanique le personnel ne parle pas le français.... mais de là à ne pas parler la langue de la région... absolument scandaleux.Autant dire qu'en tant que suisses on ne se sent pas les bienvenus dans cet hôtel !!! -une des lampes de la salle de bains qui ne fonctionnait pas et que personne n'est venu changer malgré la réclamation -la paroi de la baignoire très courte ,obligés de se doucher collé contre la paroi pour éviter de tout inonder -le petit déjeuner avec une qualité de produits très moyenne(par ex du fromage industriel en tranches, avec seulement deux sortes de fromages régionaux.... une honte au pays du fromage.)On a trouvé des petits déjeuners bien supérieurs dans des auberges de montagnes

El lugar es hermoso, el mejor hotel en el que estuve en estas vacaciones, las vistas y la atencion excelente

Les chambres & la propreté ainsi que le SPA, l'emplacement à côté de la gare est également pratique.

Avoir du personnel plus chaleureux qui parlent la langue de la région serait un minimum...le lieu est également sans âme malgré son histoire...un comble pour une institution telle que le Silberhorn ! Un effort pourrait également être fait sur le petit déjeuner qui était assez fade et manquait de choix.

Super friendly and helpful reception staff. Room refreshed daily. Tea and coffee with kettle in room. Good range of breakfast foods. Very clean and with a killer view of Jungfrau. Add in a stones throw from station and it's perfect for a stay in the Jungfrau region.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Silberhorn. It is very comfortable with all amenities you could need, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Also very close to the train station which is convenient. Highly recommend it and the lovely town of Wengen.

Das Personal war freundlich das Zimmer sauber,

Dass wir an der Reception nicht in Deutschland auscecken konnten der Mitarbeiter konnte kein Deutsch und wir kein Englisch. Wir fühlten uns im eigenen Land als Ausländer.

Top Lage, direkt neben dem Bahnhof. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist genial und bis 10.30 Uhr auch für Langschläfer geeignet.

Schade, dass bei der Ankunft der Receptionist nur Englisch gesprochen hat. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten nebenenander. Leider sind die Betten auf dem glatten Boden sehr schnell auseinander gerutscht. Es wäre angenehm, wenn die beiden Betten zusammen fixiert wären.

the half pension dinner supposed to be a 5 course buffet. instead we had to go to belvedere resto for a terrible 3 course, charged for the same price. As fine-tasters we didnt ate anything because it was that bad, which was the first time in our lives.

- am Empfang / Reception spricht niemand deutsch - Speisesaal (Frühstück) sehr dunkel und ungemütlich - ringhörig - lärmig von der Bar Hasenstall, Lift - Zimmer ohne Charme - altmodisch eingerichtet - weisser Schrank mit grossen Flecken - Bett / Matratze schlecht angezogen (zu kleine Fixleintuch) - völlig überteuert

Das Frühstück war sehr gut – große Auswahl, frische Zutaten und alles liebevoll angerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Qualität der Speisen und der aufmerksame Service. Ein rundum gelungener Start in den Tag!

Schade ist allerdings, dass es abends nicht mehr möglich ist, im Restaurant à la carte zu essen. Vor einem Jahr gab es hier noch eine sehr gute Küche, die wir in dieser Form vermissen.

A lot of light came in the windows due to gap between wall and curtains. Plus the furniture could do with an update. We were surprised one of the restaurants had already closed for the season... in March.

J’ai bien aimé, la position de l’hôtel en face de la gare, c’est très central avec les remontes mécaniques à deux minutes à pied. Ils ont une ski room qui donne accès direct sur le téléphérique. Le personnel est adorable et avenant.

super Lage direkt am Bahnhof. Nettes Personal. Funktionelles Fitness (leider ohne Sonnenlicht) und schöner Wellness Bereich. rascher Zugang zur Männlichen Bahn vom Skikeller aus. auch Anfragen bei der Buchung wurden rasch und freundlich beantwortet. Super auch die Flexibilität beim Besuch des Fitness.

Leider war es unter unserem Bett recht dreckig und staubig. Die Dusche im Zimmer war nicht wirklich funktionell. Im Frühstücksraum wäre eine 2. Kaffeemaschine sehr hilfreich und ein Ersatz des Saftspenders (schmeckt nach allem, aber nicht nach Saft).

Da wollte ich bewusst in der Schweiz Ferien machen und nicht die billigeren Orte wie in Oesterreich unterstützen. Aber ich war entsetzt, dass an der Reception kein Deutsch gespruchen wurde, alle schriftl. Infos auch auf Englisch. Französisch konnte ich auch nicht sprechen. Als frühere Skilehrerin in Wengen weiss ich, dass es Gäste aus Frankreich und Welschland gibt.

Die geniale Lage und das reichhaltige Frühstück

Die Aufmerksamkeit und der Service waren toll. Alles strahlt einen sehr kundenorientierten Charakter aus. Es gab ein ausserordentliches gutes Willkommen und Check in.

Die Bademäntel. Wechseln Sie doch die Bademäntel und entsorgen die Alten kleinen oder haben Sie zumindest passende Grössen parat. Die im Zimmer vorgesehenen waren, wie so oft viel zu klein. Das ist sehr schade für den Gesamteindruck
