The view is okay , only the view from the balcony

That is not cost effective , the room AC are not working properly , and their staff are not trained to be professional , they don't have proper manner and problem solving skill and sense of reaponsibility. They dont even provide basic toiletries .

The property was absolutely beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. I loved the design and the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable

Alles. Wij zijn vertrokken, vieze kamers. Gehele badkamer zat vol met rode mieren. Kregen uiteindelijk een nieuwe kamer, hier kon de deur niet opslot. Staf wilde ons hiervoor beschuldigen. Wij hebben gevraagd om ons geld terug te krijgen (voor 2 nachten, wij wilde best de eerste nacht betalen) aangezien we bij binnenkomst gelijk een pinautomaat onder onze neus gedrukt werd, baas werd hiervoor gebeld maar die lachte ons gewoon uit en was heel onbeleefd.

Great view on the palmtree forest. The room is colourful and quite spacious. Bathroom looks great. The location is up the hill, near the beach and restaurants but away from most noise. They provide separate beach towels. Towels can be changed when asked. AC works good but blows straight onto the bed.

The corridor wall is made of glass so you have to keep the curtains closed all the time. Not very clean. Lots of ants. Room was not cleaned during our 1 week stay. 5th floor sunset rooftop lounge has a lot of potential but right now there are some unwiped chairs and an empty bar.

Friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast suitable for vegetarians, great size room with an amazing view from balcony. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. First place I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka that provided iron board and iron which was a lovely touch.

Le logement est très spacieux avec une pièce principale et 2 chambres avec chacune une salle de bain Les vues sur la mer d'un côté et sur la montagne de l'autre sont splendides et sont un atout pour cet hôtel. Son emplacement est idéal car proche de la plage mais en retrait de la route ce qui permet d'être au calme. Le prêt de serviettes pour la plage est très appréciable. Le petit déjeuner est bon et son emplacement sur le rooftop est très agréable.

Il faudrait prévoir des rideaux occultants car ceux installés ne sont pas suffisants pour les chambres. La propreté du logement pourrait être plus rigoureuse et les finitions plus soignées.

Кондиционер не справляется с задачей, пришли работники, что-то сделали, но ничего не изменилось) WI-FI не работает совсем В соседнем отеле что-то строят, поэтому шумно Розетки работают очень плохо.

The beds were comfortable and the shower was good. The location was ok. Nice view of the hills at the back of the hotel, and you could actually see the sea if you looked out of the side windows.

1.Room we booked was not available so we were given an "upgrade" room which we had already looked at before booking and decided we did not want. 2. The suite we were given had floor to ceiling glass walls on three of the four walls. The room had no AC so it was boiling hot and unusable. 3. The bedroom also had a floor to ceiling window with just a very thin curtain which would have made the room to bright to sleep in after surprise. Staff kindly try to remedy this by adding another curtain on top. Thankfully the bedroom had AC to keep it cool. 4. We were accused of stealing the hairdryer by a member of staff when we left. I told the staff member the room never had one and he was welcome to search our bags if he wanted to. He spent 10 minutes trying to talk with the owner before we were allowed to leave. 5. The room was not serviced at all during our four night stay. This meant that waste paper from the toilet was left there for four days! 6. Often there were no staff there, and the old guy that was there at times could not really speak English so it was difficult to communicate. 7. The quality if the workmanship in the building was questionable. Door handles made of metal buildind conduit, vinyl floor on the stairway landing all rippled, bodged work in the shower area. 8. Don't think it was very good value for the money.

We had the 360 room. The view from was absolutely stunning! It felt that I was in a terrace.

I stayed at X Mirissa for the second time. The staff are always kind, and the view from breakfast every morning is beautiful. The hotel owner is very helpful and speaks good English, so communication was never a problem.

Кровать отдельное удовольствие, мы высыпались на ура. До пляжа метров 300. Все близко . Магазины и кафе. Отдельная любовь это балкон. Здесь вокруг столько живности , видели и павлина, который каждый вечер прилетал на пальму напротив, обезьяны, летучие мыши, бурундуки, ночные лемуры. Они все живут и не мешают отдыху, разве что разочек нас лемур напугал, когда с крыши спустился на наш балкон, но он испугался не меньше и сразу убежал. Вообщем я советую данный отель, отдохнете здесь отлично.

Good location between jungle and sea with everything nearby. Fairly comfortable beds. The breakfast is ok as they make fresh omelettes, but apart from that not too exciting.

The room we had reserved was not available on our arrival in the evening from a long transfer. The hotel doesn't even have a proper check in desk to greet guests and handle their reservations, just a guy with a log book and he doesn't speak English. The manager is not present and needed to be connected on the phone to solve the situation, which involved negotiating the price for a room in a different category. The staff on site is quite lost without guidance. Cleaning is very superficial and it is clear that the mentioned renovation, if even done, has been performed quite cheaply, involving low quality materials like plastic floors which haven't even been fitted correctly. No elevator in the building but the staff will help carry luggage. Dogs barking and howling all night make it hard to sleep. All in all not very good value for money compared to other options available in Mirissa. If we hadn't arrived late from a long trip, we would have searched for a different place immediately.

There is No Lift in the hotel and no proper staff in the hotel. They do not provide blankets also breakfast is on Rooftop with no proper shades or tables to sit. We booked suite which was not worth at all as there is no ac in living room and bathroom is in the way towards rooms so it stink. Also when complaint to owner he was very rude and said it’s normal you have to adjust.☹️☹️☹️

Rishant and the entire staff were very sweet and accomodarting. They made sure we had a comfortable stay and Rishant even got us a cab back to Colombo at good price.

Location

Bugs in the bathroom. Our suitcases we have brought back home have had multiple bugs in them. The room did not get cleaned once during our 3 night stay. We had to ask for new towels and toilet paper.

Location is rather ok

This place is a complete rip-off. It feels more like a hostel than a hotel. The rooms are neither cozy nor particularly clean, with grime that looks like it’s been there for a long time. Throughout the property there are large printed signs full of rules and warnings, which makes the atmosphere feel unwelcoming — again, more like a hostel than a hotel. When we asked for extra toilet paper, we had to sign a paper just to receive one roll. The breakfast was disappointing: lukewarm coffee that seemed hours old, plain white toast, and a waffle that tasted more like raw dough. The receptionist also struggled to communicate in English, which made things even more difficult. Overall, this place is absolutely not worth the money. I’d strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

The hotel was a great find as it is located between parrot rock and coconut tree hill, but still up a small hill that is quiet where you can sleep peacefully. The staff were very kind and attentive. The breakfast in the morning was decent and cheap. We even washed clothes there which was as a huge help. We were even able to watch monkeys playing on our neighbors balcony which was really exciting m.

I only stayed one night at X Mirissa (November 2025), but I really wished I could have stayed longer. It is great value for what you get. I was upgraded to the top floor, which included a shared kitchenette and living area, and the views from my balcony were gorgeous, overlooking the lush nature of Mirissa. My room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself has a very bohemian, beachy vibe that fits perfectly with the area. The location was perfect as it is walking distance to Mirissa Beach and to so many restaurants, cafes, spas, and shops. It is also close to Coconut Tree Hill. Unfortunately, I arrived with a really bad migraine but Reashan was incredibly kind and brought me a soup from their restaurant and made sure I was feeling okay. The staff were warm, thoughtful, and very helpful. Their service was definitely more than 5 stars. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend X Mirissa - hopefully I can stay next time for more than one night.

We got a free upgrade of our room to the suite for the same price as the suite was free. The owner has been very kind. The view on the mountains is fantastic

Vår vistelse på Mirissa X var helt perfekt från början till slut. Personalen var otroligt vänlig, hjälpsam och ödmjuk. man kände sig verkligen varmt välkommen varje dag. Rummet var utan tvekan det finaste vi bott i, med en helt magisk utsikt från balkongen. På morgnarna kunde vi sitta och titta på apor och vackra fåglar, vilket gjorde upplevelsen ännu mer speciell och minnesvärd. Hotellet har ett perfekt läge, supernära till allt, särskilt stranden, men ändå tillräckligt avskilt för att slippa bullret från den stora vägen. Lugnt, tryggt och bekvämt på samma gång. Vi kunde verkligen inte ha önskat oss en bättre vistelse och kan varmt rekommendera Mirissa X till alla som vill uppleva Mirissa på bästa möjliga sätt. Tack för allt!

Сделали бесплатно апгрейд номера до аппартаментов. Удобно расположено относительно пляжа ,Parrot rock и Сoconut tree hill. Вид из спальни Удобная кровать Обезьянки,приходящик утром на балкон)

Реальная картинка отличается от фото на сайте. На верхние этажи тяжело подниматься с чемоданами и без лифта Крыша была на ремонте,поэтому завтрак накрыли прямо в номере, но он был очень скудный.Сока не было.К омлету никакого дополнения(сосиски,бекон) Совсем немного фруктов,тосты.Когда нас спросили,что мы будем пить-отвтили,что черный кофе. На это нам принесли чайные пакетики и растворимый кофе-как бы сделайте себе сами. В номере не было туалетной бумаги. В общем сервиса в этом отеле в принципе нет.Оценка толко за вид из спальни и обезьянок.Завышенная цена для такого геста. Плохое соотношение цены и качества.Увы.

Mini apartmánový hotel a veľmi peknými izbami, ktoré majú klimatizáciu, ventilátor, chladničku, kanvicu. Check in nám dali o hidnko skôr keď sme potrebovali a ešte jednu noc sme potrebovali predĺžiť tak nám dali väčší apartmán. Veľmi príjemné služby, odporúčam. Na pláž to je fakt na skok 😉

Отличное расположение в пешей доступности от чудесного и разнопланового пляжа! Красивый и современный ремонт, просторный номер с панорамными видами на обе стороны, горы- джунгли и виллы-океан. Балкон и завтраки на нём с видом на пальмы, обезьян, павлинов, бурундуков и попугаев). Крыша с потрясающим видом на океан и закаты. Хороший WiFi. Замечательный и приветливый персонал. И даже колибри свила гнездо и выводила птенцов прямо на входе в отель))). Я уже скучаю

Beautifully decorated. The view from our room was wonderful! It had the ocean one side and the hills on the other. The staff was very cooperative and well behaved. The place is really close to the beach and has got some really great restaurants nearby.

A fantastic hotel in a great location with genuinely attentive staff. We were even upgraded to a jungle-view room with a huge balcony, which was a lovely surprise. The rooms are spacious, the showers are reliably hot, and the filtered water dispenser in each room is a brilliant touch. Highly recommend!
